Peskov on new US sanctions

Reuters reports the Trump administration is demanding the ICC cancel arrest warrants for Israeli leaders and halt investigations into US troops in Afghanistan.
Washington has already sanctioned several judges and prosecutors. In July, Secretary of State Marco Rubio urged other nations to withdraw from the court.
The ICC previously issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin regarding the war in Ukraine.

Demand for trips to the UAE fell by 50%
Over 90% of tourist flow to the region was directed to the UAE. In the first half of 2026, the country was visited by 619,182 Russians, a decrease of 45.8% year-on-year. For comparison, in the first half of 2025, demand had grown by 16% to 1.14 million trips.
The drop in demand led to price corrections. According to Onlinetours, the average cost of a tour to the UAE from January to June 2026 was 173,953 rubles, which is 7.7% lower than in the same period last year.

Russian forces liberated Novоaleksandrovka and Polnaya in Kharkov region
Assault troops of the 128th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (44th Army Corps) drove units of the 129th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of Novoaleksandrovka.
Subsequently, soldiers of the 82nd Motorized Rifle Regiment (69th Motorized Rifle Division, 6th Guards Combined Arms Army) broke the resistance of the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade and took control of Polnaya.

The project aims for completion in 2027 and full capacity by 2029. The initiative seeks to reduce dependence on Chinese components and bolster domestic defense supply chains.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported a coordinated attack targeting logistics hubs, warehouses, port infrastructure, and vessels supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Kiev Oblast, the BDU Logistic center near Schastlivoe was hit. This facility reportedly stored and distributed military supplies. A gas distribution station in Boyarka, which supplied energy to Ukraine's defense industry enterprises, was also destroyed.
In Odessa Oblast, strikes targeted the port of Izmail, damaging infrastructure used for unloading and storing military cargo. In Odessa port itself, a dry cargo ship delivering goods to Ukrainian troops was struck. Another vessel carrying military cargo en route to Odessa was attacked at sea.
