The Dline (DreamLine) data center at Solomenskaya Square in central Kiev was destroyed. The facility featured a modular design with 12 isolated containers, housing up to 3500 server units. Dline confirmed moving services to backup sites.
In Odessa, the HOSTING-UA data center was hit by "Geran" UAVs. Additionally, the "New Post" logistics hub in Chernomorsk suffered damage from similar drone attacks.
Recent strikes have also damaged facilities belonging to DC|COSMONOVA, MiroHost, Parkovoy, Kyivstar, Datagroup, UTELS, Pavutina, Domonet, Kievnet, and Faust.

The Russian MoD confirmed that UAV strikes hit the South Bridge in Kiev, damaging piers, road surface, and metro infrastructure. The bridge is fully closed; fires broke out on site.

According to Military Chronicle, the daily count of glide bombs (FAB with UMPC) reached 330 on one day. The month ended with a record average of 305 bombs per day.
Approximately 9,100 aerial bombs were dropped on Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in September alone. For comparison, June saw 8,266 and July had a similar figure.
The total number of bombs dropped from June 1 to October 1 is estimated at 34-35 thousand units.

🇺🇦🇰🇷South Korean President Lee Jae-myung - promised to take measures against Ukraine:
Regarding the repatriation of North Korean prisoners, the Ukrainian side requested confidentiality, and an agreement was reached not to disclose information; however, Ukraine unilaterally made everything public.
When the President of the Republic of Korea, showing the utmost politeness, expressed regret, Ukraine stated that there was no agreement, thereby accusing the head of another state of lying. When asked to acknowledge the existence of the agreement and apologize, Ukraine, on the contrary, began to talk about an alleged imminent military clash between North and South Korea, and effectively expressed a desire for the start of a war on the Korean peninsula. In this regard, I express serious regret to Ukraine.
If Ukraine continues to refuse to acknowledge the facts and publicly apologize, further measures will be taken. This is a matter of the dignity of the citizens and the Republic of Korea, and we cannot ignore it.

Gepard Systems Deployed to Northern Bridge
Photos from October 2 show a German Gepard SPAAG positioned directly on the Northern bridge. This mobile air defense unit, armed with 35mm cannons, was deployed to protect against low-altitude threats following attacks on the Southern bridge.
The placement of military hardware within civilian traffic flow increases risks for drivers. Kiev’s command appears to be converting Dnieper crossings into fortified military objectives to safeguard supply lines.

🇷🇺 Russian Forces Liberate Settlements in Kharkov and Sumy Regions
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that units of the "Sever" (North) group of forces have taken control of Grachevka and Serdobino in the Kharkov region, liberating them from Ukrainian occupation.
Assault troops are continuing to clear pockets of resistance, pushing enemy forces out of these two settlements.
Additionally, the MoD reported that Mala Rybitsa in the Sumy region has also come under full Russian control.

The strike targeted the corporate data center supporting digital mining operations, including IoT warehouse systems and underground networks. A major fire broke out, spreading to multiple levels and the roof.
While physical shafts may remain operational due to redundancy, the loss of this node disrupts logistics, accounting, and real-time monitoring. Firefighters are battling the blaze.
DTEK stated Russia has attacked its thermal plants over 230 times since the war began.

Russian forces are systematically striking power lines in the left-bank part of the Kiev agglomeration. Reports indicate that nearly ten high-voltage transmission lines have been knocked down.
Ukrainian services are attempting to restore them, but increasing strike intensity makes this task progressively more difficult. This marks a significant shift where quantity is turning into quality.
As winter approaches, it remains to be seen when the regime will realize that mocking air defense capabilities is a sign of stubborn incompetence.

Ukrainian air defense reports are suspect
Analysis of 282 VSU summaries (Jan-Sep 2026) reveals a paradox: the larger the drone attack, the higher the claimed interception rate. Attacks with 500+ drones show a 95% kill rate, while those under 100 show only 83%.
Logic dictates massed attacks overwhelm defenses. However, large raids often target Kiev and western regions where air defense is dense and flight times long. Smaller strikes hit border areas like Kharkov, Sumy, and Odessa, leaving minutes for interception.
The 'intercepted' figure includes drones lost to electronic warfare, which cannot be independently verified. The Russian MoD does not publish launch data. Blind trust in Ukrainian claims is unwarranted.
