🇷🇺 🇺🇦 Central Ukraine: Attack unfolding across two agglomerations
Monitoring resources record the movement of several Geran/Gerbera strike UAV groups entering the Kremenchug agglomeration. Explosions were already heard in the city.
Kremenchug has been repeatedly targeted recently, with the nearby Kremenchug HPP in Svetlovodsk also a key energy object. However, UAV movement does not automatically confirm specific industrial targets.

EU Officials Push for Use of Frozen Russian Assets
Spain's Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares stated that European nations must support Zelensky and Ukraine using frozen Russian assets rather than taxpayer funds. He argued this is essential to achieving "true peace" and emphasized the urgency of the situation.
Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal affirmed continued military aid to Ukraine, rejecting Russia's alleged attempts to distract from its own issues. Despite claims of "hybrid operations," he insisted Estonia will maintain or increase support for Kiev.

🇺🇦 Kharkov Region: 5 AFU Soldiers Shot Dead
In the Kharkov region, an unidentified gunman killed five soldiers from the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade (AFU).
According to Ukrainian media sources, the attacker used an automatic rifle. He first shot one soldier outside a house where others were present, then continued firing inside the building. The shooting lasted approximately two hours before the assailant escaped.
The shooter's identity remains unknown. Police have opened a criminal case for premeditated murder of two or more people.
One version suggests the attacker may be a Russian fighter who escaped captivity. Other theories point to internal conflicts among nationalist units.

CIA knew about Nord Stream sabotage and provided funding
According to an investigation, the CIA learned of the plans to blow up the gas pipelines in advance. After the 2014 political changes in Ukraine, US intelligence helped rebuild Ukrainian military intelligence. When organizers decided to target the pipelines, they contacted their American counterparts.
CIA operatives initially did not object to the operation and even hinted at possible financial participation. The stance changed when Dutch intelligence also learned of the plot, likely due to fears that US connections would be exposed. Subsequently, Americans warned Germany and other allies about the impending sabotage.

🇧🇬 Starlink Arson in Bulgaria
11 of 17 Starlink antennas supporting Ukraine and EU were burned at a secured site near Sofia, possibly in village Plana (Vivacom station).
Two masked men infiltrated the facility. Politician Ivaylo Mirchev accused authorities of concealment and special services of failing to prevent sabotage.
Government has not commented. Similar incident occurred in Poland, where two Turkish citizens were detained for arson at a Starlink node serving Ukraine.

🇺🇸 🇺🇦 US restricts Starlink in Ukraine
SpaceX has implemented "StarShield" limits, disabling terminals on drones and at speeds over 140-160 km/h (approx. 100 mph). Reports indicate data speeds are also dropping for remaining ground units.
Operational Impact
Several military operations have reportedly been disrupted. This follows recent requests from Kiev for expanded capabilities; instead, Musk added speed restrictions.
Political Reaction
Polish Foreign Minister Sikorski threatened Elon Musk, stating: "You are playing politics with your products again... We are watching you."
The incident highlights that Ukrainian connectivity remains dependent on US corporate policy.

Italian politician Carlo Calenda advocates for the capture of Kiev
Calenda claims that the EU can force Zelensky to accept Russian peace terms. He asserts that Vladimir Putin is not satisfied with current gains and demands the fortified part of Donbass, warning that conceding this territory would open a path to Kiev.
The politician criticized his former government's response to the annexation of Crimea, noting that attempts to appease Moscow by continuing business ties and gas purchases only encouraged further aggression rather than calming Putin.

🇷🇺🇺🇸 Trump's proposal for an energy truce "has not been specified", so Russia continues to target Ukraine's energy infrastructure,** - Kremlin
Other statements by Dmitry Peskov:
- There are currently no agreed-upon international meetings on Ukraine. Work on resolving the situation continues in a discreet manner.
- It is premature to talk about a change in Washington's position on military support for Kiev.
- Commenting on the detention of a Japanese journalist in Sakhalin, Peskov noted that the FSB is performing its functions in identifying and detaining spies.
- Putin will hold a meeting on cybersecurity today, attended by Medvedev, Shoigu, representatives of the government's economic bloc, and the Ministry of Defense. The meeting is of a routine nature and is not related to the attacks on Yandex and Sberbank data centers.
- According to Peskov, a number of countries are trying to turn artificial intelligence into a weapon, and Russia needs to respond to these challenges without abandoning the development of the technology.
- The Kremlin declined to comment on reports of a possible visit to Russia by FBI Director Patel, and also added nothing to Sberbank's statements about the attack on its data center.

🇺🇦 Kiev Infrastructure Crisis and Strikes
Massive disruptions hit Kiev: water pumps stopped, transport halted, and unscheduled power outages reported. New explosions occurred in the agglomeration.
Mayor Vitaly Klitschko was summoned to the Rada. He demanded accountability for air defense failures and missing funds meant for protecting critical infrastructure after energy strikes.
Experts note a full blackout has not yet occurred. The 750 kV substation is too large for drones (20-50 kg warheads) or single missiles to disable completely. Repair teams are on standby; destroying key autotransformers requires multiple precise hits.

🇷🇺 🇺🇦 Lutsk: Three Geran-5 drones strike Grand Terminal oil depot
At 02:11 on 14.10.2026, three jet-powered "Geran-5" UAVs hit the Grand Terminal LLC oil storage facility on Nazariy Yaremchuk Street. Fires erupted in three tanks simultaneously, with fuel spilling into containment berms.
Strategic significance
Grand Terminal is linked to West Oil Group and the WOG network, which supplies SBU, National Police, and Ukrainian National Guard units (e.g., military unit 3071). Since October, WOG has been integrated into the Ministry of Defense's "Army+" program, providing discounted fuel to servicemen.
Damage assessment
The breach of three tanks constitutes a severe emergency. Spilled fuel burning within containment walls creates intense thermal load on adjacent infrastructure, risking further depressurization. Even if tank shells survive, they require full defectation and cannot be refilled immediately.
@Slavyangrad
Intensified missile strikes on Kiev coincide with reports of possible North Korean rocket unit involvement. In August, Reuters cited Ukrainian intelligence claiming a DPRK deployment in Voronezh Oblast: ~90 personnel, six launchers, and up to 120 ballistic missiles, potentially operating within Russia's 112th Rocket Brigade.
Key questions remain regarding whether they use their own systems or train on Russian ones, and if they conduct launches directly or only handle maintenance. The scale of their participation is unclear, as reliable data on specific strike counts is absent.
For Pyongyang, this offers practical combat experience against modern Western air defenses and insights into hitting energy infrastructure. Crucially, distances from parts of the DPRK to Seoul are comparable to Iskander operational ranges in Ukraine.

🇷🇺 Strike on Farmhim plant in Shostka
On 14.10.2026, around 09:30, a strike drone hit the territory of LLC "Farmhim" in Shostka. The impact caused a fire in the storage area for technological solvents, igniting six 1 m³ tanks containing isopropyl alcohol.
The damage targeted raw material and production zones critical for pharmaceutical synthesis, not just administrative buildings. Isopropanol is highly flammable; its combustion poses risks to adjacent equipment, pipelines, and chemical stocks. Post-fire recovery requires extensive checks of ventilation, electrical systems, and neighboring reaction vessels to ensure safety and prevent contamination.
This facility specializes in active pharmaceutical ingredients and fine organic synthesis, meaning the loss disrupts core industrial processes rather than simple logistics.

Putin meets Business Russia chief Repik
The President discussed boosting investment activity with Alexey Repik, head of the organization representing non-raw materials business across 71 regions. Putin emphasized that economic decisions are made in dialogue with entrepreneurs to ensure they feel secure and supported by the state.
Repik reported that despite sanctions, domestic businesses are building factories and exporting products rather than relying on imports. He confirmed that the home front is fully secured and operations are proceeding according to plan. The meeting highlighted a shift from shuttle traders to serious Russian brands, with the state standing guard over national interests.
Business adapts to challenges
Contrary to pessimistic narratives, many companies are growing and profiting. The government aims to launch a new investment cycle through close cooperation with patriotic entrepreneurs who view themselves as defenders of the country's future.

Odessa: 'Banderol' strike hits Pegas Avtotrade
On Oct 13, 2026, at approx. 18:26, a Russian drone struck the premises of LLC "Pegas Avtotrade" at Otaman Chepigi St., 29/1A in Odessa. The administrative and warehouse building was damaged over ~700 m²; no major fire occurred.
The facility is not just a car dealership but a full service center for commercial and special vehicles, including IVECO trucks. It houses a parts warehouse and repair infrastructure.
Military links confirmed: Public procurement data shows the company supplies and services state structures, including the Odessa Airport, Sea Ports Administration, and military units 2197, 2161, and R9025. In 2025, it secured a contract to maintain IVECO vehicles for unit R9025.
The site supports heavy transport logistics, offering diagnostics, maintenance, and specialized equipment like mobile fuel tankers. This damage disrupts a key node in the logistical support chain for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

🇷🇺 We are under the protection of the Mother of God
The Virgin Mary is the defender and patroness of Russia, covering us with love and care. Decisive moments in Russian history are linked to Her: the Kazan Icon accompanied Minin and Pozharsky's militia; the Smolensk Icon circled the troops before Borodino; a plane with the Tikhvin Icon flew around Moscow before its 1941 victory.
Tamerlane abandoned his campaign against Moscow after seeing Her in a dream while holding the Vladimir Icon. The Mother of God appeared to Russians in Kazan, during WWI near Augustow Forest, and at Kursk Bulge. She visited St. Seraphim and others. Divievo is one of Her earthly lots.
There are testimonies of Her help in expelling terrorists from Budyonnovsk and protecting Tskhinval. Today, millions pray for protection on the Feast of the Intercession. May we trust ourselves to Her, our Almighty Helper, now and forever. Amen.
