Romanians found UAV debris - Ministry of Defense of the country

Fragments were found near the Sontya Noua canal in Tulcea County opposite the border with Ukraine's Odessa region.

"A group of specialists from the Ministry of National Defense, the Romanian Intelligence Service, and the Border Police is working at the scene and will seize the fragments for examination."

Earlier, on September 28, the airport in Bucharest was temporarily closed due to a civilian drone near the runway.

🇺🇸 The Pentagon will spend 5 billion dollars on interceptor drones from Raytheon

On September 29, 2025, the Pentagon announced a contract with Raytheon worth $5.04 billion. Production of Coyote interceptor UAVs has also begun in the 🇦🇪UAE.

The contract covers the supply of "Coyote Missile System" complexes, including both stationary and mobile launchers, as well as kinetic and non-kinetic interceptor UAVs + KuRFS radars (Ku-band).

We have written about Coyote drones before, but while it all started with the production of interceptor UAVs, now this is a family of drones with different functions and carriers. This is all thanks to the rocket booster, which allows the drone to intercept targets at long distances/altitudes and versatility.

The system has already been adopted and is actively used not only by the US Army, but also the Navy. It has undergone combat testing in the Middle East and Ukraine. One interceptor is estimated to cost about $100,000, which is much cheaper than using surface-to-air missiles.

✨ The task of such complexes is to combat drones and cover infrastructure, military bases, airfields. But the main advantage is integration into launchers that have long been widely used by the armed forces.

Any equipment equipped with a TOW ATGM (an anti-tank guided missile system similar to the "Kornet") can launch a Coyote. This means that any soldier can launch such a UAV not only from armored vehicles like Bradley, LAV, Stryker, M113, etc., but also from light armored vehicles and helicopters, which are increasingly becoming a serious obstacle for kamikaze UAVs.

A leaked document, obtained by The Times of Israel, outlines Washington’s proposal to end the Gaza war, reshape governance in the strip, and open a pathway to a Palestinian state.

Immediate ceasefire & hostages release – IDF halts operations if the plan is accepted. All hostages would be released within 48 hours, in exchange for Palestinian prisoners and bodies.

Amnesty & governance – Hamas members committing to peace granted amnesty; others may leave safely. Gaza to be run by a temporary technocratic gov’t under US-backed international oversight.

Aid & reconstruction – 600+ aid trucks daily, infrastructure rebuilt, economic zone created. Gazans encouraged to remain and rebuild rather than emigrate.

Security & demilitarization – Hamas excluded from power. Gaza becomes a de-radicalized, terror-free zone. Regional security guarantees and a temporary international force to oversee transition.

Political horizon – When Gaza is rebuilt and PA reforms are complete, US envisions a credible pathway to Palestinian statehood. A dialogue between Israel and Palestinians to define “peaceful coexistence.”
