THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT AND THE FLEEING OF THE PEOPLE FROM THEIR RELATIVES DURING IT

ALLĀH said:

يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ الْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ

On the Day a man will flee from his brother, and his mother and his father, and his wife and his children,

meaning, he will see them and then flee from them, and seek to get away from them because horror will be so great and the matter will be so weighty.

There is an authentic Hadith related concerning the intercession that states that every one of the great Messengers of firm resolve will be requested to intercede with ALLĀH on behalf of the creation, but each of them will say: "O myself! O myself! Today I will not ask YOU (O ALLĀH) concerning anyone but myself."

Even `Isa bin Maryam will say: "I will not ask HIM (ALLĀH) concerning anyone but myself today. I will not even ask Maryam, the woman who gave birth to me."

ALLĀH said:

لِكُلِّ امْرِيٍ مِّنْهُمْ يَوْمَيِذٍ شَأْنٌ يُغْنِيهِ
For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.

meaning, he will be preoccupied in his business and distracted from the affairs of others.

Ibn Abi Hatim recorded from Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said: "You will all be gathered barefoot, naked, walking and uncircumcised."

So his wife said, "O Messenger of ALLĀH! Will we look at or see each other's nakedness"

The Prophet ﷺ replied: "Every man among them on that Day will have enough (worries) to make him careless of others --

or he said: he will be too busy to look.

THE SUNNAH OF DUHĀ PRAYER: ITS VIRTUE, WHEN AND HOW IT SHOULD BE PRAYED

1⃣ The Duhā prayer is a Sunnah prayer with great virtue, encouraged by ALLĀH’s Messenger (ﷺ) for his Companions and the believers

It was narrated from Abu Dharr (may ALLĀH be pleased with him), from the Prophet (ﷺ) that he said: "In the morning a charity is due from every joint of one of you. Every tasbeehah is a charity, every tahmeedah is a charity, every tahleelah is a charity, every takbeerah is a charity, enjoining what is good is a charity, forbidding what is evil is a charity, and two rak‘ahs offered in the forenoon (Duha) will suffice for that."

{Muslim #1181}

An-Nawawi (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "The words of the Prophet (ﷺ) 'and two rak‘ahs offered in the forenoon (Duha) will suffice for that' are indicative of the great virtue of Duha and how important it is, and that it may be offered with two rak‘ahs."

{Sharh Muslim by an-Nawawi}

2⃣ Duhā prayer time begins 20 minutes after sunrise. It's better to pray it prayer after the sun’s heat has become intense.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "It is preferable to offer Duhā prayer when the sun’s heat has become so intense that even the young of the camels feel it"

{Muslim #748}

The scholars defined this as being when one-quarter of the day has passed, i.e., halfway between sunrise and Dhuhr prayer.

{Al-Majmu’ by al-Nawawi, 4/36}

3⃣ It's time ends until just before noon (Dhuhr).

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymin (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) says: "... ˹The time for the Duha prayer ends˺ ten minutes before Zhur prayer.

{Al-Sharh al-Mumti’, 4/122}

4⃣ The minimum is two rak’ahs with one tasleem, but one can pray four, six, eight, or more.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "…and two rak’ahs offered in the forenoon (Duhā) will suffice for that."

{Muslim #720}

Shaykh Ibn Baz (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "The minimum – for Duha – is two rak‘ahs, and there is no maximum number. But the Prophet (ﷺ) prayed two and four rak‘ahs, and on the day of the conquest of Makkah, he prayed Duha with eight rak‘ahs, on the day on which ALLĀH granted him the conquest of Makkah. So this matter is broad in scope. Whether a person prays eight or ten or twelve rak‘ahs, or more than that, or less, there is nothing wrong with it, because the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The (Sunnah) prayers of the night and day are two (rak‘ahs) by two." The Sunnah is to pray two by two, saying the salam after each two rak‘ahs."

{Majmu‘ Fatawa Ibn Baz, 11/389}

4⃣ There is no specific surah mentioned in the Sunnah regarding the Duhā prayer. Recite whatever is easy of the Qur'an after Surah al-fathia in Duhā prayers.

The Duhā prayer comes with an amazing reward! ALLĀH promises to suffice us on every day that we pray four Rak'ah to begin that day.

It was narrated from Abu’d-Darda’ and Abu Dharr (may ALLĀH be pleased with them both) from the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ), from ALLĀH, may HE be glorified and exalted, that HE said: "O son of Adam, pray four rak‘ahs to ME at the beginning of the day, and I shall suffice you at the end of the day."

{at-Tirmidhi #437}

Scholars say this refers to the Duhā prayer.

May ALLĀH make us of those who are consistent in praying Duhā!

HOW CAN YOU LIVE BY THE NAME AS-SAMĒÉ AL-BASĒR

1⃣ How many times have you watched your deeds when certain people were around? Be vigilant about your actions, whether in the presence of others or alone because Al-Basēr is always observing. A practical tip is to imagine yourself being watched by a camera which follows you 24/7, whether you are with people or all alone. The sight of Al-Basēr cannot be topped by a hundred million cameras.

2⃣ Trust Al-Basēr always; HE sees your challenges, protects you, and provides what is best. Submit and rely solely on HIM. "And put your trust in the Mighty, the Merciful, who sees you when you stand up (to pray) and your bowing in prostration with those who bow down." [Ash-Shu'arā: 217-219]

3⃣ Learn the proper speech etiquette for a Muslim by studying the Qur'an and the Prophet's sunnah. Avoid prohibited speech like backbiting and lying, and focus on pleasing As-Samēé with positive expressions such as dhikr, good advice, and Qur'an recitation.

4⃣ Feel 'Sami'Allāhu liman hamidah,' acknowledging ALLĀH'S Hearing. When you say this, recognize ALLĀH as the All-Hearer and intend to speak only good in HIS presence.

5⃣ Strive for Ihsān (excellence) in every act you do. Knowing that ALLĀH sees everything you do encourages you to be more devoted in your worship, more righteous in your deeds, and kinder to others. This is why Prophet ﷺ said: "Excellence in faith is to worship your Lord as if you see HIM, and though you do not see HIM, know that HE sees you." [al-Bukhari, Muslim]

SAYING "IF ALLĀH WILLS" WHEN PLANNING FUTURE ACTIONS

ALLĀH says:

وَلَا تَقُولَنَّ لِشَيْءٍ إِنِّي فَاعِلٌ ذَلِكَ غَدًا إِلاَّ أَن يَشَاء اللَّهُ

And never say of anything, “I will definitely do that tomorrow,” without adding, “if ALLĀH wills!”

This prohibition is like others; although it was addressed to the Messenger (ﷺ) for a specific reason, it is also applicable to all accountable individuals. ALLĀH forbade the individual to say, concerning matters in the future, “I will definitely do that” without also mentioning the will of ALLĀH. This is so as to avoid falling into error, which is speaking of the unseen future without being certain as to whether he will do it or not, or whether it will happen or not. That is because failing to say “if ALLĀH wills” is attributing the action to the will of the individual, independently of ALLĀH, and that is not allowed, because the will is all ALLĀH’s.

وَمَا تَشَاۤءُونَ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَشَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ
And you do not will except that ALLĀH wills - Lord of the worlds. {at-Takwīr: 29}

Moreover, mentioning the will of ALLĀH makes things easier, brings barakah (blessing) and is a means of seeking the help of one’s Lord.

{Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di}

Abu Hurayrah (may ALLĀH be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) said:

Suleiman bin Dawud (peace be upon them both) said: "Tonight I will go round (i.e. have sexual relations with) one hundred women (my wives) everyone of whom will deliver a male child who will fight in ALLĀH'S Cause."

On that an Angel said to him, "Say: 'If ALLĀH will.' " But Solomon did not say it and forgot to say it. Then he had sexual relations with them but none of them delivered any child except for one who gave birth to a half-formed child.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If Solomon had said: 'If ALLĀH will,' ALLĀH would have fulfilled his desire and that saying would have made him more hopeful."

OVEREATING HARMS BOTH PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING

One of the greatest practices that is good for health and will protect good health against diseases is avoiding overeating, and the prohibition on being extravagant and overindulging in food.

Miqdaam ibn Ma‘di Karib said: I heard the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ say: "The son of Adam does not fill any vessel worse than his stomach. It is enough for the son of Adam to eat a few mouthfuls to keep him going, but if he must (fill his stomach), then one third for his food, one third for his drink and one third for air."

{At-Tirmidhi #2380}

Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya (رحمه الله) said:

"This is one of the most beneficial practices in both physical and spiritual terms, because if the stomach is filled with food, there is no room for drink, then if that food is followed by drink, there will be no room for air, and he will become tired like one who carries a heavy load. This is in addition to what results from that of spiritual damage, as it will make one too lazy to do acts of worship, and it will stir up physical desires as a result of eating one’s fill. Therefore filling the stomach with food is harmful in both spiritual and physical terms."

THE DISBELIEVERS ARE PUNISHED IN WAYS THEY DO NOT PRESUME

ALLAH said:

فَذَرْنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ
So leave to ME those who reject this message

meaning, the Qur'an.

This is a sever threat which means, `leave ME alone with this person; I know about him and how I will gradually punish him and increase him in his falsehood. I am giving him respite for a while, then I will seize him with a mighty and powerful punishment.'

Thus, ALLĀH says,

سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
WE will gradually draw them to destruction in ways they cannot comprehend.

meaning, and they will not even be aware of it. Rather, they will believe that it is a noble blessing from ALLĀH, but really the same matter is actually a form of humiliation (for them).

This is similar to ALLĀH'S statement,

So, when they forgot that which they had been reminded, We opened for them the gates of everything, until in the midst of their enjoyment in that which they were given, all of a sudden, WE punished them, and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and sorrows. {al-An'am: Verse 44}

{Tafsi‌r Ibn Kathīr}

Al-Hasan Al-Basri said,

"Whomever ALLĀH gives provision and he thinks that ALLĀH is not testing him, has no wisdom. Whomever has little provision and thinks that ALLĀH will not look at (provide for) him, has no wisdom."

THERE IS NO MONASTICISM IN ISLAM

ALLĀH says;

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ امَنُواْ لَا تُحَرِّمُواْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا أَحَلَّ اللّهُ لَكُمْ

O believers! Do not forbid the good things which ALLĀH has made lawful for you

Ali bin Abi Talhah said that Ibn Abbas said,

"This Ayah was revealed about some of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ who said, We should cut off our male organs, abandon the desires of this life and travel in the land, just as the Ruhban (monks) do.' When the Prophet ﷺ heard of this statement, he summoned them and asked them if they made this statement and they answered Yes.'

The Prophet ﷺ said,
I fast and break my fast, pray and sleep, and marry women. Whoever follows my Sunnah is of me, and whoever abandons my Sunnah is not of me."

It is recorded in the Two Sahihs that Aishah said that; 'some of the Companions asked the wives of the Prophet about the acts of worship that he performed in private.

One of them said, "I will not eat meat," another said, "I will not marry women," while the third said, "I will not sleep on the bed."

When the Prophet ﷺ heard this statement, he said,

"What is the matter with some people who said such and such I fast and break the fast, sleep and wake to stand to pray, eat meat, and marry women. He who is not pleased with my Sunnah is not of me."

ALLĀH'S statement

وَلَا تَعْتَدُواْ
and do not transgress.

means, do not exaggerate and make it hard for yourselves by prohibiting the permissible things. Do not transgress the limits by excessively indulging in the permissible matters; only use of it what satisfies your need; and do not fall into extravagance.

ALLĀH said in other Ayat,

وكُلُواْ وَاشْرَبُواْ وَلَا تُسْرِفُواْ
And eat and drink but waste not by extravagance. {Al-Araaf: 31}

and,

وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا أَنفَقُواْ لَمْ يُسْرِفُواْ وَلَمْ يَقْتُرُواْ وَكَانَ بَيْنَ ذَلِكَ قَوَاماً
And those, who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor miserly, but hold a medium ˹way˺ between those ˹extremes˺. {al-Furqān: 67}

So ALLĀH legislated a medium way between those who are extreme and those who fall into shortcomings, and it does not allow excessive application, nor lack of application.

ENCOURAGEMENT TO OBEY ALLĀH BEFORE THE DAY OF RESURRECTION

ALLĀH said:

اسْتَجِيبُوا لِرَبِّكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ يَوْمٌ لاَّ مَرَدَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ

Respond to your Lord before the coming of a Day from ALLĀH that cannot be averted.

Here ALLĀH instructs HIS slaves to respond to HIM by complying with HIS commands and heeding HIS prohibitions, and by hastening to do so and not procrastinating, before the Day of Resurrection comes which, when it comes, cannot be put back and it will not be possible to make up for what was missed.

مَا لَكُم مِّن مَّلْجَأٍ يَوْمَيِذٍ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّكِيرٍ

No refuge will you have that Day, nor for you will there be any denial.

On that day, the individual will have no refuge to turn to, and no way to escape or flee from his Lord; rather the angels will surround all creatures from the rear and will call out: "O jinn and humans, if you are able to pass beyond the confines of the heavens and the earth, then do so. But you cannot pass beyond them unless you have power." {ar-Rahman: Verse 33}

On that day, no one will be able to deny what he committed of sins; in fact even if he does deny it, his own physical faculties will testify against him.

In this and similar verses, there is a condemnation of those who hope to live long, and a command to make the most of any opportunity that comes along to do a good deed, because procrastinating leads to a great deal of trouble.

{Tafsi‌r As-Sa'di}

Abu Hurairah (May ALLĀH be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH said,

"Hasten to do good deeds before you are overtaken by one of the seven afflictions."

Then (giving a warning) he said, "Are you waiting for poverty which will make you unmindful of devotion, or prosperity which will make you corrupt, or a disease which will disable you, or senility which will make you mentally unstable, or sudden death which will take you all of a sudden, or Ad-Dajjal who is the worst expected, or the Hour; and the Hour will be most grievous and most bitter.''

HOW TO CATCH UP WITH RAK'AH

If a person joins the congregation when the imam is bowing, one of the following three scenarios applies:

1️⃣ He says takbīratul-ihram (saying “Allāhu akbar” to start the prayer) whilst standing, then he bows whilst the imam is bowing. In this case he has caught up with the rak‘ah with the imam.

2️⃣ He says takbīratul-ihram whilst the imam is bowing, but he bows after the imam has stood up from rukoo’. In this case he is not counted as having caught up with the rak‘ah with the imam, and he has to make it up.

3️⃣ He bows straightaway without saying takbīratul-ihram. In this case his prayer is invalid, because he has omitted one of the pillars or essential parts of the prayer, which is takbīratul-ihram.

"The fuqaha’ are agreed that whoever catches up with the imam in rukoo’ has caught up with the rak‘ah, because the Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever catches up with rukoo’ has caught up with the rak‘ah.'" {Abu Dawūd}

Shaykh al-Albāni said (in Irwa’ al-Ghaleel, pg. 262): one of the things that strengthens the hadīth is the fact that the Sahābah acted in accordance with this:

1️⃣ Ibn Mas’ood, who said: “Whoever does not catch up with the imam when he is bowing has not caught up with that rak‘ah.”

2️⃣ ‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar, who said: “If you come when the imam is bowing, and you put your hands on you knees before the imam stands up, then you have caught up (with that rak‘ah).”

3️⃣ Zayd ibn Thaabit, who used to say: “Whoever catches up with the rak‘ah before the Imam raises his head has indeed caught up with the rak‘ah.”

SUCCESS COMES FROM ALLĀH ALONE

ALLĀH said:

And my success comes only through ALLĀH.

BEAUTIFUL NAMES OF ALLĀH
➖➖➖
EPISODE 1️⃣2️⃣B - AL-SAMĒÉ AL-BASĒR (البصير السميع) - THE ALL-HEARING THE ALL-SEEING

➖➖➖

Throughout the day, a camera is used. An excellent photo of a face can be taken, but individual facial features become considerably more difficult to distinguish as night falls. It could be one of the reasons criminals love the night. A loud conversation is likewise much easier to overhear than a quiet one. So these elements have an effect on us as individuals, as for Allāh (ﷻ) He stated about himself.

(Interpretation of the meaning)
It is the same to Allāh whether any of you conceals his speech or declares it openly or whether you are hit by night or whether you go forth freely by day

(Yūsuf 12:10)

To a Lord who has named himself Al-Samēé and Al-Basēr , you're always on, you're never truly offline. The record button was pushed the day you became accountable, and it will remain pressed until the day you die.

Your faith in these two names of Allāh creates a cloud of consciousness that follows you wherever you go. It's an inner voice that never stops speaking up when you're about to break one of Allāh (ﷻ) red lines. It's a voice saying to you, O my soul, if you've crossed Allāh's boundaries while believing He couldn't see or hear you, how enormous was your disbelief in Allāh (ﷻ). O my soul, if you broke His boundaries knowing He could see and hear you, how little was your fear of Allāh (ﷻ)? Oh, my soul, how come you are an Allāh ally in public but an Allāh enemy in private? Beware, O my soul, of making Allāh the most insignificant of all observers.

So the effects of damage control when it comes to sins is huge when these divine names are noticed in your life, but they offer more than just that, they also offer comfort to the anxious ones. Prophet Musa (عليه سلام) told Allāh (ﷻ) that they were anxious about going to the Pharaoh and inviting him to Islam, this is a criminal, this is a mass murderer, and they needed to provide a passage for Banuu Israel out of his control. How did Allāh (ﷻ) comfort Prophet Musa? He said to them:

(Interpretation of the meaning)
Don't be afraid I am with you both hearing and seeing

(Tā-Hā 20:46)

So the greatest comfort to a worried heart is to know that above, there is a Lord who listens and sees, especially when your eyes and ears are blind and deaf to your pains. You have a Lord who is totally present and conscious.

Knowing that we are in His eyes fosters patience, so regardless of what it is that you're going through, let's call it the thirst of Ramadan, the fatigue of Hajj, the challenge of releasing your zakah, the urge of pressing the snooze button for fajr salaah, when needing to restrain your gaze, the sweltering challenge of a flawless hijab on a summer's day, the injuries of a just Jihad, or the loneliness of being a practising Muslim. These sufferings are eclipsed, anguish is diminished, and endurance is fortified as you stare into the sky above you in recognition of being totally within Allāh's sight and hearing.

So those moments of being alone with the All- hearing and All-seeing Lord, are now easily transformed into moments of warmth with Allāh's nearness and companionship, moments of Hope and reflection, and intimate Dua. No period of lonely confinement can ever break you, no sense of estrangement can slow you down, no period of loneliness will be used for sin, how could it be? when you are now connected to Allāh Al-Samēé, Al-Basēr.

May Allāh (ﷻ) guide us to understand His religion

VICTORY ONLY COMES AFTER SUCCEEDING IN THE TRIALS

ALLĀH says:

Do you think you will be admitted into Paradise without being tested like those before you?

Here, ALLĀH tells us that HE will inevitably test HIS slaves with both ease and hardship, as HE tested those who came before them. This is HIS way that never alters or changes. Whoever adheres to HIS religion and follows HIS laws will inevitably be tested; if he is patient in bearing the decree of ALLĀH and does not worry about the difficulties he encounters for HIS sake, then he is the sincere one who has attained true happiness and high status. Whoever regards the trials that befall people as a punishment from ALLĀH, in that hardship deterred him from carrying on what he had committed himself to, then he is insincere in his claim to be a believer, because faith is not mere wishful thinking and claims, unless it is proven or disproven by one’s deeds.

WORLD IS CURSED EXCEPT FOR REMEMBRANCE OF ALLĀH, KNOWLEDGE

"The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for the remembrance of ALLĀH and what facilitates it; and the religious scholars and seekers of knowledge.''

COMMENTARY:

This Hadith does not mean that this world, and whatever is in it, is really cursed. What it in fact means is that such things of this world are cursed which make a person negligent of the remembrance of ALLĀH; or it is cursed for those who in their whole life do not remember ALLĀH. This Hadith which relates to knowledge for the reason that acquisition of knowledge is essential to know that such and such work will be a source of winning the Pleasure of ALLĀH and such and such act will incur HIS displeasure. This is the reason the teacher and the learner have been included in the exemptions from the curse.

O Children of Adam! Take your adornment to every Masjid. Eat and drink, but do not waste. Surely HE does not like the wasteful.

Say, Who has forbidden the adornments and lawful provisions ALLĀH has brought forth for HIS servants? Say, They are for those who believed during the life of this world, exclusively ˹for them˺ on the Day of Resurrection. This is how WE make OUR revelations clear for people of knowledge.

Say, My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with ALLĀH that for which HE has not sent down authority, and that you say about ALLĀH that which you do not know.

FASTING AL-AYYAM AL-BEED (THE WHITE DAYS) FOR RAJAB 1445H

The white days of the month refer to the 13th, 14th, and 15th of each lunar month. The moon is at its fullest and most luminous during this period. Fasting on these days (Al-Ayyam Al-Beed) is sunnah, mentioned in various hadith.

The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said: "Fasting three days of each month is equivalent to fasting for a lifetime. The days of al-beed (white days) are the 13th, 14th & 15th." [Sunan an-Nasai]

ALLAH'S Messenger ﷺ said: "It is sufficient for you to fast three days every month because, for every good deed, you will have (the reward of) ten like it, so that will be like fasting for a lifetime." [Sahih al-Bukhari]

WORSHIP FOR THE SAKE OF ALLĀH IS A MEANS TO ATTAINING NEARNESS TO HIM AND HIS LOVE

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said,

ALLĀH said: Whoever shows hostility to a friend of Mine, I have declared war upon him.

My servant does not grow closer to ME with anything more beloved to ME than the duties I have imposed upon him.

MY servant continues to grow closer to ME with extra good works until I love him.

When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks.

Were he to ask something from ME, I would surely give it to him.

Were he to ask ME for refuge, I would surely grant it to him.

I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to displease him.

FORBIDDING MURDER AND SUICIDE

ALLAH said,

﴿وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَنفُسَكُمْ﴾
And do not kill yourselves.

That is, do not kill one another, and no one should kill himself. This includes throwing oneself into risky activities or dangers that may lead to harm or death.

﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُمْ رَحِيماً﴾
Surely, ALLAH is Most Merciful to you.

By HIS mercy HE protects you and your wealth, forbids you to waste it or destroy it, and HE has ordained consequences for that in the form of hudood punishments.

{Tafsir As-Sadi}

Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

"Whoever kills himself with an iron tool, then his tool will be in his hand and he will keep stabbing himself with it in the Fire of Jahannam, forever and ever.

Whoever kills himself with poison, then his poison will be in his hand and he will keep taking it in the Fire of Jahannam forever and ever.

Whoever kills himself by throwing himself from a mountain, will keep falling in the Fire of Jahannam forever and ever."

{al-Bukhari #5442, Muslim #109}

Jundub reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

“A man among those before you was wounded. He was in such anguish that he took a knife, slit his wrist, and let the blood flow until he died. ALLAH Almighty said: MY servant has preceded me with his soul, so I have forbidden Paradise for him.”

"It is out of ALLĀH’s mercy that you ˹O Prophet˺ have been lenient with them. And if you had been rude ˹in speech˺ and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you."

If you possess the knowledge and intelligence of everyone on earth, you will not infiltrate their hearts except with good behavior.

And why should I not worship HE who created me and to whom you will be returned?

How could I take besides HIM other gods whose intercession would not be of any benefit to me, nor could they save me if the Most Merciful intends for me some adversity?

Indeed, I would then be in manifest error. Indeed, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me.

It was said, "Enter Paradise." He said, "I wish my people could know of how my Lord has forgiven me and placed me among the honored."

[Yā Sīn: Verse 22-27]
