To be a wonder means to be an amazement, a surprise to many. This is what the Lord has made you! The moment you received eternal life, you became a wonder because God’s Spirit lives in you and He’s made you a wonder to your world.
Gideon was the youngest child in his family, and no one thought much of him. But when the Lord took over his life, He made Gideon a “…mighty man of valour” (Judges 6:12).
Like Gideon, shine everywhere you go as you display the excellence and perfections of our heavenly Kingdom.

When the Lord Jesus died on the cross, He paid the full price for your salvation. The salvation His sacrifice brought you is a complete package. There’s nothing missing, and there’s nothing more to be added. What He did on the cross was enough.
He paid the full price for your healing, righteousness, success and victory so you would never live in lack, sin, sickness or failure ever again. Hallelujah!
So, walk in the victory of the Lord as you make your faith-filled confessions daily

If, after being out on the playground all day you come home looking dirty, that won’t make you any less a child of your parents. All your mum would do is get you out of your dirty clothes, have you take a wash and put on some fresh and clean clothes.
It’s the same way with the Lord. If you made a mistake, you don’t have to stay feeling sorry for yourself. Simply ask the Lord for forgiveness. He’s more than able to wash you clean and give you a fresh start.

Joshua and the children of Israel stood before the great walls of Jericho. The Word of the Lord came to them, instructing them on what to do to bring those walls down (Hebrews 11:30). They didn’t doubt but acted on the Word and got a mighty miracle!
What situation are you faced with today? Don’t be afraid or intimidated. Hold on to the Word and keep declaring it. Your victory is sure!

One day, the Lord Jesus met a sick man by the pool of Bethesda. He asked him if he wanted to be healed. Rather than saying ‘yes’, he began to complain of how no one had helped him. Some of God’s children are this way. They complain and whine but never ask.
If your parents can get you nice gifts when you ask, “…how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:11).
The Lord will never withhold good things from you. So, be bold to make your requests to Him today

Every child of God is given the measure of faith. But you shouldn’t stay with that because it’s small. You’ve got to grow your faith from a little faith to a great faith.
Every time you hear God’s Word, faith comes to your heart. But what do you do with that faith? You act on it! Don’t wait a day or two, act on it. As you do, your faith grows and it’s strengthened.
So, as you hear God’s Word today, act on it. It may be a Word on soul winning, or giving, or treating others with love, don’t wait, act on it immediately!

Faith is not a leap in the dark like most think; it’s a leap on the Word of God. Faith is acting on God’s Word, irrespective of what’s going on around or in you.
The Bible is full of examples of people who defied the odds and lived a life of faith. Abraham, David, Paul the Apostle and so many others lived a life of faith; and thus always overcame every challenge before them.
Choose to live a life of faith by holding on to God’s Word and what the Word has said about you. Proclaim the Word boldly every day.

School is very important for everyone: both old and young. As you sit in class and are taught by your teachers, that’s not the time to doodle or stare out of the window. Rather, you should give your full attention to what is being taught.
Remember you have the Holy Spirit; this makes you different from every other child in your class. Through His help, you can have the best grades, and be the best at every subject you’re taught.
So, pay close attention in class. You’ve got to discipline your mind to listen attentively to what your teacher is saying. This is the way to excel in school.

God is perfect, and everything He does is perfect and beautiful!

When Jesus died on the cross, He said, “it is finished” and His spirit left His body. It is finished means that the old covenant has finished; it has ended!
When He said, “it is finished” (John 19: 30), the Bible says the veil in the temple that separated the most Holy place from the Holy place was torn in two from the top to the bottom. God’s glory left the temple and came to live in you.
The death and resurrection of Jesus has given you access to God, Glory to God. You and the Lord are now one! Hallelujah!

A wise farmer doesn’t eat everything the harvest produces; he takes out time to separate the best and the healthiest of his crops as his ‘seed’ for the next season so he can have a better harvest.
When you’re blessed with money or material things, don’t keep everything for yourself. Be like that wise farmer, and set some aside as your ‘seed’ to give to the Lord. When you do, you’re ensuring you always have an abundant and unending harvest in your life.

When the Lord changed Abraham’s name from ‘Abram’ to ‘Abraham’, Abraham immediately begun calling himself by his new name. It really didn’t matter to him what people called him, what mattered was what God called him.
Never get sad or angry when people call you names. What they’ve called you doesn’t count so, don’t listen to them. What really matters is what God has said about you in His Word. He calls you blessed, fruitful, productive, intelligent, healthy and precious in His Word. Hallelujah!
Remind yourself every day of God’s Word because that is what counts. Glory to God!

Just as you need physical food for your body to grow and develop well, your spirit also needs spiritual food to grow and develop well, and that food is the Word of God.
The Lord desires for you to “…grow up in all things into Him who is the head— Christ—” (Ephesians 4:15). Glory to God! The Word of God is the only spiritual food that your spirit needs to grow strong and healthy.
So, go for the Word, study it, meditate on it and talk to others about it. That’s how to feed your spirit and grow up in Christ. Hallelujah!

To be peculiar means you’re unique, oneof-a-kind, and really special. That’s who you are as God’s child. Everything about you is extraordinary. This makes you different from everyone else. The Bible says you’re “…a holy nation, His own special people…” That’s you! This should put some springs to your steps!
The Lord Jesus, while on earth, lived differently from everyone around Him. He was a wonder to them (Matthew 8:27).
So, wherever you may be today, live as a true example of an excellent child of God in the way you talk and act. Let everything about you show you’re truly a child of God who’s peculiar in every way.

Wow! Did you just see that? It says “… it makes Him happy when His people pray” (Proverbs 15:8 CEV). This means God is always excited to hear you pray.
Knowing this should fill you with joy and boldness whenever it’s time to pray and have fellowship with the Lord. The Bible says, “…With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God” (Philippians 4:6 CEV).
So, be bold to make your request from the Lord today. Remember, He loves to hear you, and He’s waiting to grant your heart’s desire.

I have great news for you today; you’re in line for a miracle! You qualified the moment you believed in Jesus. Isn’t that great?
It’s the Lord’s will that all His children live a great and exciting life. He wants your joy to be full.
So, be bold to ask for a miracle whether it’s in your family, academics or health, for He is able to do “… exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” (Ephesians 3:20)

Just like your heavenly Father, your words are anointed with power. You can create with your words. That’s why you shouldn’t talk carelessly.
You can change any situation, from your health to your grades, with your words. So, declare God’s Word in faith about the situation you want a change in, and watch the miracle happen.

Do you remember Nehemiah? He was an officer in the king’s palace when he heard that the walls of Jerusalem were in ruins. That news inspired him to do something about it. So, he volunteered to serve. And the Lord helping him, he rebuilt the walls.
As God’s child, you should be excited, and inspired to do something good for your family, neighbourhood, class, school or country, no matter how little it may be.
Serve with diligence and joy, and the Lord will promote you to do more.

It’s sad to see how selfish the world has become; people looking out only for themselves, and not caring about others.
But as God’s children, we’re not this way. God’s love has been shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5), and an important quality of God’s love is that it isn’t selfish. God’s love doesn’t look out for itself but cares for others too. This is why you shouldn’t be selfish.
Therefore, be different as you let the love of God in you flow freely as you show others genuine care, kindness and love.

Imagine you had a new toy that needed batteries to work. You won’t play with the toy without charged batteries because it’ll need the right amount of power to work well. That means you’ll need to charge the batteries for it to work.
Speaking in tongues charges your spirit just like a battery. When you speak in tongues often, it makes you bolder (1Corinthians 14:4), and empowered to do more for the Lord.
Therefore, speak in tongues every day, and keep your spirit charged up!

Do you remember Joseph’s story? He was an Israelite sold into slavery by his own brothers. Though he was in another country, Joseph stood out of the crowd not only because he was favoured by God, but also because he was also diligent and hardworking.
If you want to excel and be promoted, you must make up your mind to work hard. Don’t be lazy, be smart, go to bed at the right time, read your books at the right time, do your assignments when you should and excellently too, and listen very well to your teachers in class.

The Lord wants you to shine for everyone to see, and one way to do this is through your good works. By ‘good works’ I mean good deeds that bring glory to God.
The Lord Jesus did many good works (Acts 10:38), and He also said, “he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works...” (John 14:12TLB). That means you can do good works too; and that way, you’ll be letting your light shine forth.
You can start today by helping your parents out at home to tidy up your room, take out the trash or even wash the dishes. Always be willing to lend a helping hand to those in need of it.

Do you know you’re a king? When God looks at you, He sees a king. The Bible says the Lord Jesus has made us kings and priests (Revelation1:6) wow! Isn’t this beautiful?
You’ve been made a king, so reign like one. Reign in life, in school, in your home and everywhere you are. Don’t let anyone put you down, for the Lord Jesus has made you a king.
Get built up in God’s Word today, and as a king, start ‘kinging’ as you declare the things you want to see in your life.

To be loyal means you’re faithful and trustworthy. It means you can be trusted to carry out whatever assignment you’re given excellently, even if no one’s watching you.
David was just a young boy when He was chosen by the Lord to be king. The Lord didn’t choose him because of his great looks or strength, but because he had a perfect heart. In other words, David was loyal.
Therefore, learn to be loyal like David, in doing your assignments and chores. Remember, the Lord rewards loyalty, He’ll surely reward you for being loyal!

Do you know what it means to be blessed of God? It means you’ve been given the power to prosper and succeed in everything you do, and every time. That was what happened to you when you were born again.
Remember Isaac? The Lord blessed him greatly such that in the middle of a severe famine, his “crops were tremendous—100 times the grain he sowed…” (Genesis 26:12 TLB).
You’ve been specially blessed by the Lord too. This blessing will make you to shine, prosper, and be excellent in all you do. Hallelujah!

Prudence is such an important virtue every child of God should have. When you’re prudent, you’re sensible and have the ability to make the right decisions always.
Solomon was both a wise and prudent king. He could have spent his wealth on other things, but he rather chose to use it to build God a house (2 Chronicles 2:12).
The way to be prudent is through God’s Word. The more time you spend studying your Bible, the wiser you get, and the more prudent you’ll become.
