Being content means feeling happy and satisfied with what you have. Some people don’t have much, but they’re still thankful and happy. That’s because content people are always joyful! When you’re content, you’ll be grateful. And you know what? God loves thankful people. He loves to shower His blessings and favor on them.
So, learn to appreciate what you have and be content. Remember, the Lord is your Shepherd, and He knows exactly what you need. He is more than capable of taking care of you. Trust in His abundance, and be grateful for His blessings.

The words in today’s opening scripture are the Words of our Lord Jesus. And He’s encouraging you to cheer up! It’s possible to feel upset or sad sometimes, but you shouldn’t let those feelings linger. No! Why? Because the joy of the Lord is inside you, and you shouldn’t let anyone take it away.
Remember, Jesus has already overcome every challenge for you, so you should be confident that you’ll come out victorious in every situation! Hallelujah!
Instead of slumping your shoulders or wearing a sad face, stand tall and get excited “For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long…” (2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT).

The world has an abundance of information, some are good, while others are not. As a child of God, it’s important to filter what you allow into your mind, keeping out the harmful stuffs. When you let the right information in, it shapes your thoughts and makes you to think and act rightly. Isn’t that wonderful?
You can maintain a clean mind by focusing on thoughts that are pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. And the best way to do this is by studying and meditating on God’s Word. So, fill your mind with God’s Word, and you’ll live an excellent life.

Job was greatly blessed by the Lord. He had children, sheep, cattle, and huge wealth. However, Job had a weakness: he was fearful, and he often expressed his fears with negative confessions (Job 3:25-26). Sadly, those negative words didn’t just disappear, they eventually brought about the loss of everything he had (Job 1:13-19).
Words are very powerful. Our words possess power, whether they are positive or negative. That’s why the Lord Jesus said, “The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life” (John 6:63). In other words, your words have life and power!
So, be mindful of the words you speak. It’s time to start speaking in agreement with God’s Word. Speak abundance, blessings, and prosperity into your life, and others.

There’re people who listen to the Word but never act on it. Don’t be like them. While hearing God’s Word is essential, it’s equally important to act upon what you hear. The real blessing comes from doing what the Word says.
So, the next time you hear God’s Word, don’t hesitate to act on it promptly. For instance, there’re things you’ve learnt from this devotional, make sure you do them immediately. By doing so, you’ll drive the Word deeper into your heart, and it’ll bring forth the results of what it talks about in your life.

To excel in school, it’s not enough to simply attend classes; you must also put in the effort to study. The same principle applies to your Christian life. Beyond just going to church services and Bible study classes, it’s important you have your personal study time.
Don’t just read your Bible; study it thoroughly. Jesus Himself encouraged us to “search the Scriptures” (John 5:39).
As you engage in this study, the Holy Spirit will grant you understanding, and your faith in God’s Word will deepen and grow. So, make it a habit to study your Bible diligently, and watch your faith in the Word flourish.

Do you know faith can be ‘stubborn’? Take the woman with the issue of blood, for example, she had great faith. Though she’d been sick for twelve long years, she’d visited every physician and spent all she had, yet, she refused to give up on her healing. Her faith won when she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment, and she was healed! Her faith was a ‘stubborn’ faith.
As God’s child, you need to have ‘stubborn’ faith; the kind of faith that doesn’t give up. Refuse to accept any negative situation; rather, hold on to what God has said about you in His Word, regardless of what you feel or see happening around you.

More than two thousand years ago, the Lord Jesus came to earth to die for the sins of the whole world. The Bible records how he died, was buried, but after three days, something miraculous happened—He rose again! Jesus isn’t in the grave anymore; He is alive and will live forevermore! Hallelujah!
And here’s the amazing part: He lives in you today. In other words, He’s alive in you! Can you now see why failure, sickness, and defeat have no power over you. Isn’t that awesome?

It’ll be a sour sight to see a goat barking— it’ll be quite a strange sight, wouldn’t it? As it’s unusual for goats to bark, it’s also strange for God’s children to fail. It really is! When you were born again, failure stopped being an option for you.
Sadly, some Christians still fail, and the reason is that they don’t know who they are in Christ (Hosea 4:6). But you know who you are. Hallelujah!
So, whatever tasks or assignments you have, give them your absolute best, and you’d always come out tops.

A treasure is something very valuable. That’s exactly what God’s Word is. It’s a treasure without measure.
What’s more? God’s Word is His gift to us, a gift so precious and nothing in the world compares to it. It is the Word of life (John 6:63). And it has the power to change anyone and anything! What’s amazing is that this treasure is found in the treasure chest called “The Bible”!
If you’re yet to get your own Bible, you can ask your parents or guardians to get you one today, and begin to enjoy all the ‘goodies’ in it. Glory to God!

As a child of God, you became part of His family when you were born again. That means you’re royalty now! Isn’t that beautiful?
No wonder Peter said in 1 Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people...” Hallelujah!
So, you shouldn’t feel timid or unimportant. You are royalty, a child of the Most High God! You have the authority to speak and make decrees just like a king does, all in the Name of Jesus. And you’ll see those decrees come to pass because you are His special child. Glory to God!

Mary and Martha’s brother, Lazarus, was very sick, so they sent a message to Jesus asking Him to come. Sadly, before Jesus arrived, Lazarus passed away. Mary and Martha were heartbroken, and thought it was too late for anything to change. Mary cried out, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
But Jesus knew it wasn’t over yet. So, He went to where Lazarus was buried. When He got there, He called Lazarus to come out of the grave. And guess what? Lazarus, who had been dead for four days, came out alive!
No situation is too late or impossible for God. If you would only believe, you’ll see God’s glory in your body, family, school, or country. So, can you believe for a miracle right now?

Have you ever seen those movies where brave police officers are chasing after sneaky robbers? Well, just as it is in those movies where the robbers are always trying to get away because they know if they’re caught, they’ll be in trouble, you also can make the devil run too!
Every time you stand up to the devil, and say no to his lies, you make him run. So, whenever you feel the devil is trying to mess up with you, tell him, “Stop right there, devil! I won’t let you mess with my life, body, or family!” And he’d be gone. Hallelujah!
Remember, you’ve got the power to keep the devil on his toes and make him run away from your life.

A PACKAGE OF BLESSINGS

Abraham was greatly blessed by the Lord, and his blessings extended to everyone he encountered. Even his grandson, Jacob, experienced abundant blessings. Jacob’s father-in-law, Laban, noticed how much Jacob was blessed that he didn’t want him to leave his house (Genesis 30:27).
Just as Jacob inherited the blessings of Abraham, you’re also blessed. As a blessed child, you bring blessings to your home, school, and neighborhood.
So, remember that you’re a package of blessings. Therefore, your presence allows those around you to experience and enjoy the Lord’s blessings too.

One day, as Jesus was traveling to Jerusalem, he met ten people who were sick with leprosy. Jesus healed all of them. Out of those ten, only one returned to say thank you. The Bible says, “He came back, shouting praises to God” (Luke 17:15 CEV).
The Lord Jesus was happy that he showed gratitude, so, he was made whole such that no one would ever guess he was once a leper. Hallelujah!
Being grateful is super important because it always brings more good things into your life. Every time you say thank you to the Lord or to someone, you’re opening doors to receive more blessings.

The Holy Spirit is the greatest gift to Christianity. Back in the Old Testament, when the Spirit would come upon the prophets, priests and kings, they’d receive the anointing in ‘a measure’. That means they only experienced a limited and temporary influence of the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives; oftentimes, for a specific time or purpose.
In the New Testament, through the Lord Jesus, you can receive the Holy Spirit in His fullness! Isn’t that great? If you haven’t received the Holy Spirit yet and you’re reading this right now, I’d like to invite you to do so by saying the prayer below. Release your faith as you pray, mean every word, and He will come into your heart to live in you forever.

A mother’s love for her child is very powerful, but it can never match the overwhelming love that God has for His children. God’s love is the greatest love ever. He demonstrated this love by giving His only beloved Son, Jesus, to die for the whole world. God’s love for us is the reason for this sacrifice.
Remember, God loves you dearly, personally, and intimately. Even if you were the only person in the entire world, Jesus would still have willingly laid down His life for you. That’s how immeasurable and incomparable God’s love for you is.
So, hold your head up high, and rejoice in God’s everlasting love for you. You are truly cherished beyond measure!

Out of all the books ever written and published in the world, there’s one book that stands out with very active power. Do you know the book I’m talking about? It’s the Bible! It contains God’s Words, which has the power to bring prosperity, salvation, healing, deliverance, and good health into your life.
The Bible is not just any ordinary book; it’s filled with stories of ordinary people accomplishing extraordinary things, and it can make you extraordinary too.
That’s why I make it a point to read my Bible every single day, and I encourage you to do the same. It contains the living Word of God, making it truly a super book!

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26

One of the amazing things the Holy Spirit does when He comes into your life is to teach you God’s Word; He becomes your Teacher. The Bible calls Him the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13), and everyone who has learned from Him has become great. Wouldn’t you like Him to be your Teacher too?
It’s really simple! All you have to do is say the prayer in today’s message, inviting the Holy Spirit to come into your heart. When you do this, He’ll fill you with His wisdom, and help you understand all things.
So, if you’re ready to have the best Teacher ever, just say the prayer, and let the Holy Spirit guide you in everything you do.
