In the military, a general outranks any other officer. This means that he’s superior, and must be obeyed by his juniors without being questioned.
Just as a general outranks a major or a corporal in the military, a Christian outranks any demon hatched out of hell, and that includes their leader, Satan. That means every devil must obey your instruction (Mark 16:17). When you tell a devil to go away in Jesus’ Name, it has to obey!
Whenever you tell the devil to come out of someone or to stop doing evil things around you, he obeys at once because you’re superior to him. Amongst all of God’s creation, you’re of the highest rank. The devil is under your feet; you’ve got power to cast him out anytime, and from anywhere.

Your words and actions show the kind of thoughts that control your mind. That’s why the Bible says, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he...” (Proverbs 23:7). In other words, your behavior reveals what you think about often. This means you’re what you think about the most.
Today’s memory scripture shows that the way to guard our lives in the right direction is by minding only the right thoughts. Therefore, don’t allow just anything into your heart; instead, fill your mind with God’s Word.

"Perfect Peace" as mentioned in today's memory scripture is a special kind of peace; it's peace with prosperity. Now that you're a child of God, this peace is already in your heart; you received it the moment you were born again.
Therefore, don't let worries take it away from your heart; instead, keep your thoughts on the Lord and His Word. Boldly take all your needs to Him in prayer, "Then God's peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7 GW). Hallelujah!

In this edition of our special series on “What You Need To Know About Your Rights In Christ”, we’re looking at another vital ‘right’ you’ve got as a child of God. Let’s see it.
YOUR RIGHT TO RULE!
Revelation 1:5-6; Ecclesiastes 8:4; Mark 11:23.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has given you the right to rule. He has made you a king. And as a king, you’re to rule through your words.
In summary, these are the major aspects of your right to rule, and have been outlined below for you to understand it better.
1. Jesus has given you the right to rule (Revelation 1:5-6).
2. You’re a king; and kings rule (Ecclesiastes 8:4).
3. A king is known, not by the way he looks, but by the power behind his words. That means kings rule by words (Ecclesiastes 8:4; Mark 11:23).
4. Power is released when you speak; so, ensure you speak the right words always (Proverbs 18:21).

A treasure is something very valuable. That’s exactly what God’s Word is. It’s a treasure without measure.
What’s more? God’s Word is His gift to us, a gift so precious and nothing in the world compares to it. It is the Word of life (John 6:63). And it has the power to change anyone and anything! What’s amazing is that this treasure is found in the treasure chest called “The Bible”!
If you’re yet to get your own Bible, you can ask your parents or guardians to get you one today, and begin to enjoy all the ‘goodies’ in it. Glory to God!

As a child of God, you became part of His family when you were born again. That means you’re royalty now! Isn’t that beautiful?
No wonder Peter said in 1 Peter 2:9, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people...” Hallelujah!
So, you shouldn’t feel timid or unimportant. You are royalty, a child of the Most High God! You have the authority to speak and make decrees just like a king does, all in the Name of Jesus. And you’ll see those decrees come to pass because you are His special child. Glory to God!

Mary and Martha’s brother, Lazarus, was very sick, so they sent a message to Jesus asking Him to come. Sadly, before Jesus arrived, Lazarus passed away. Mary and Martha were heartbroken, and thought it was too late for anything to change. Mary cried out, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
But Jesus knew it wasn’t over yet. So, He went to where Lazarus was buried. When He got there, He called Lazarus to come out of the grave. And guess what? Lazarus, who had been dead for four days, came out alive!
No situation is too late or impossible for God. If you would only believe, you’ll see God’s glory in your body, family, school, or country. So, can you believe for a miracle right now?

Have you ever seen those movies where brave police officers are chasing after sneaky robbers? Well, just as it is in those movies where the robbers are always trying to get away because they know if they’re caught, they’ll be in trouble, you also can make the devil run too!
Every time you stand up to the devil, and say no to his lies, you make him run. So, whenever you feel the devil is trying to mess up with you, tell him, “Stop right there, devil! I won’t let you mess with my life, body, or family!” And he’d be gone. Hallelujah!
Remember, you’ve got the power to keep the devil on his toes and make him run away from your life.

Abraham was greatly blessed by the Lord, and his blessings extended to everyone he encountered. Even his grandson, Jacob, experienced abundant blessings. Jacob’s father-in-law, Laban, noticed how much Jacob was blessed that he didn’t want him to leave his house (Genesis 30:27).
Just as Jacob inherited the blessings of Abraham, you’re also blessed. As a blessed child, you bring blessings to your home, school, and neighborhood.
So, remember that you’re a package of blessings. Therefore, your presence allows those around you to experience and enjoy the Lord’s blessings too.

Before His death, Jesus was the only begotten of the Father (John 3:16). But after His death and resurrection, He became the first begotten of the Father (Revelation 1:5).
Jesus’ death and resurrection opened the way for everyone. Those who believe in Him and confess His Lordship are born again. At once, they become sons and daughters of the heavenly Father as well. And the Bible says that Jesus isn’t ashamed to call us His brothers and sisters. What’s more, our heavenly Father is proud and happy that He’s got many children who love Him.
You’re His cherished treasure. You don’t have to feel inferior in the presence of God anymore; you’re accepted and loved by the Father the exact same way He loves Jesus.

You’re not a child of chance; your life has been carefully prepared by God in advance. He has arranged every detail, including the people you’ll meet and the places you’ll go. Nothing happens to you by mere chance, and luck has no role to play in your life.
The Holy Spirit has already planned wonderful things for you. So, when you begin to experience great blessings and opportunities, don’t attribute them to luck. Instead, lift your hands, and give thanks to the Lord because you’re truly a blessed child.

God’s Word is meant to be acted on. Whenever you hear or study the Word, whether during fellowship or while studying your Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers, don’t hesitate to act on it immediately; just do it!
The Bible tells us that those who receive and act on the Word are blessed (James 1:25). Wouldn’t you like to be blessed? Then, act on the Word, and do it promptly too.
Whether it’s about soul-winning, giving, or showing love, put the Word into practice right away. As you do, the Word will take root in your heart and produce the fruits of what it talks about. So, don’t delay any longer; do it now!

Being content means feeling happy and satisfied with what you have. Some people don’t have much, but they’re still thankful and happy. That’s because content people are always joyful! When you’re content, you’ll be grateful. And you know what? God loves thankful people. He loves to shower His blessings and favor on them.
So, learn to appreciate what you have and be content. Remember, the Lord is your Shepherd, and He knows exactly what you need. He is more than capable of taking care of you. Trust in His abundance, and be grateful for His blessings.

The words in today’s opening scripture are the Words of our Lord Jesus. And He’s encouraging you to cheer up! It’s possible to feel upset or sad sometimes, but you shouldn’t let those feelings linger. No! Why? Because the joy of the Lord is inside you, and you shouldn’t let anyone take it away.
Remember, Jesus has already overcome every challenge for you, so you should be confident that you’ll come out victorious in every situation! Hallelujah!

Have you ever noticed how brightly the sun shines? It’s way brighter than any light made by man. That’s the kind of brightness the Lord wants you to exude in school, and in your life with Him.
So, just like the sun lights up everything around it, you should shine in your studies, in doing what’s right, and to everyone in your world.
Remember, you’re an ambassador of the Gospel of Christ. Let everyone around you know you’re a child of God.
