Do you know whom our memory scripture is referring to as the ‘Promise of the Father’? It’s the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Promise of the Father. From the Old Testament, the prophets talked about Him (Isaiah 32:15). However, they couldn’t receive that Promise until the Lord Jesus had come to the earth.
Today, the Promise of the Father—the Holy Spirit, is in the earth. He brought with Him the power and presence of God. With Him, your life in Christ becomes exciting and full of the miraculous.
I encourage you to ask Him to come into your life if you haven’t received Him. And if you have, continue to stir up His presence in you every day as you fellowship with Him by speaking in other tongues, and studying the Word.

According to today’s opening scripture, if the people around you would hear the Gospel, they’ll need you. Without you, some people around you may never get the opportunity to hear and receive God’s Word. Can you see how important you are?
Therefore, don’t be quiet. God has put His Word in your heart and in your mouth so, “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season…” (2 Timothy 4:2). You can use the prayer of Salvation on page 48 to lead them to Christ.
Remember, every child of God has the important assignment of preaching God’s Word. So, be busy about it today

Love is proven by both words and actions. God proved His love for us by sending His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins (John 3:16). This shows that love isn’t only spoken, it is acted.
Do you love God? I’m sure your answer is a resounding yes! Then, you’ve got to prove it; don’t just merely say it.
Prove it through your service to the Lord as you speak to others about Him, and as you give in church for the course of the Gospel. Be caring and kind to others, too.

You’re the child of God, the Creator of the heavens, earth and all that’s in it. Glory to God! This should put some spring in your steps, and a smile on your face. You’re not ordinary, you’re special, the child of the Most High God.

God has His own menu too; His menu is His Word. In His menu are: divine health, prosperity, love, joy, peace and all the beautiful blessings of life.
Therefore, study and meditate on His Word often, for the Word has the power to beautify every area of your life.

To enjoy God’s blessings in your life, you’ve got to practise the Word; not just in church but everywhere you go. For example, the Word says, “…that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men” (1 Timothy 2:1). You don’t have to wait to feel like praying for others before you do so, no! You pray for others because the Word says so. That’s what it means to do the Word.
Therefore, make this a daily practise. As you read your Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers, do what the articles instruct you to do. If it’s on prayer, make sure you pray. Whatever the subject, do it, and you’ll be blessed.

Joshua had just received the responsibility of leading the children of Israel into the land the Lord promised them (Joshua 1:2). The Lord knew he would face challenges and encouraged him to be bold and courageous (Joshua 1:6).
He’s saying the same to you today. Refuse to be intimidated or afraid to stand up for Jesus. No matter where you may be; in school, in your neighbourhood or in the park, be bold to speak up and talk about the love of Jesus for the world.

“I can’t forgive him,” Emily complained to her best friend, Olivia as they sat to eat their lunch at the school cafeteria. “Robert said hurtful words to me, so I will never forgive him,” Emily said with a sullen face.
But Olivia showed Emily in God’s Word that she could, and should forgive Robert, for she was full of God’s love. “You’re right, Olivia. God loved and forgave me in Christ. I should do the same too,” Emily said with smiles on her face.
As God’s child, you shouldn’t find it difficult to forgive anyone who’s hurt you. Remember God’s love has been shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5). So, be quick to forgive, and do so wholeheartedly.

We read of the amazing story of King Jehoshaphat in the Bible. He had received news of the coming of a great army against Judah. Although the news was disturbing, he immediately organized the people to go to the Lord in prayer.
They didn’t turn to other nations to ask for their help, rather, they talked to God. Guess what? God gave them a strategy and the enemy was defeated (2 Chronicles 20:3-17).
What’s that challenge you’re facing right now? Speak in tongues and talk to your heavenly Father about it, and He’ll give you a strategy to solve it because He has the answers to all life’s challenges.

Our God is the great God of glory. He made the heavens, the earth, and everything in them. He’s deserving of our praise and worship. As such, when we praise Him, we shouldn’t do it quietly; rather, we should do it with a shout of praise!
Remember the story of Paul and Silas? The Bible says, while in jail, they sang praises to God, and the other prisoners heard them (Acts 16:25). What followed was a mighty deliverance (Acts 16:26).
Praise God out loud, and do so from your heart, as you do, you’ll see His blessings and miracles manifest in your life.

Some folks are quick to lose heart or give up when they don’t see the answers to their prayers immediately. You shouldn’t be that way because it’ll mean you didn’t have faith in the first place.
Remember the story of Abraham? His wife was far past the age of bearing children when God told him he’ll be a father. The Bible says, “He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God” (Romans 4:20). Abraham didn’t give up until he got a miracle.
Is there something you’ve been praying and trusting God for? It might be for the healing of a loved one, or salvation of a friend, don’t give up until you’ve seen the manifestation of your prayers.

Have you ever seen an anchor? It’s a very heavy metal object in ships which is used to hold ships in place when they’re docked. An anchor, when compared to a ship, is much smaller. But, it’s able to hold the ship in place regardless of its size.
God’s Word is your life’s anchor. It’s able to make and keep you successful, healthy and strong.
So, hold on to the Word. Study, meditate and act it accordingly. The Word is strong enough to take you through life, and make you what it talks about. Hallelujah!

Meals that are not seasoned with salt are tasteless and unappealing. Often times, a lot of people don’t like eating such meals.
Just as food tastes better when it’s seasoned with salt, your words can also be salted. Not with cooking salt, but with kindness and love. Therefore, let the words you speak be wholesome and true. Be an inspiration to those who listen to you.
Let your words be full of grace, humility, kindness and love. You’re God’s child, so act like Him as you use polite, kind and loving words that will bless all those who hear you.

Joy is a fruit of the new creation, it’s in every child of God. That means you can be joyful irrespective of what’s going on around you.
Apostle Paul was an example of someone who was joyful despite the many challenges he faced. That’s why he encouraged Christians to do the same; that is, to be joyful in the face of trials and challenges (James 1:2-4). As God’s child, it really doesn’t matter what the challenge is, your victory is certain (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). That was why Paul was joyful no matter what he faced.
So, choose to be happy and excited every day. Refuse to let anyone or anything make you have the blues. Remember, the joy of the Lord is your strength.

If your heavenly Father takes such great care of the birds in the air, the ants on the ground and the flowers of the field, He can and would surely take care of you because you’re much more precious and valuable than the birds or the flowers.
Therefore, “if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you…” (Matthew 6:30).
So, don’t let the things you need make you sad; rather, take them to the Lord in prayer, for He is able to do much more than you could ask or ever imagine (Ephesians 3:20). He is such a loving Father!

It’s common for people to complain about situations they don’t like. But complaining doesn’t change things or situations.
You don’t change a situation by complaining or talking about it, no; rather, it’s by talking to it. Today’s memory scripture again says, “…whoever says to this mountain…” That means you’ve got to talk to the situation.
The situation might be a fever or a concern with a loved one, don’t complain and talk about how bad it is. Rather, speak to it as you speak in other tongues, releasing your words of faith over the situation. Then watch it change. Hallelujah!

The Bible tells an inspiring story about a man possessed with evil spirits that was healed by our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible records that the man didn’t keep quiet about what had happened to him. “…So he went all through the city telling everyone about Jesus’ mighty miracle” (Luke 8:39).
Be swift to talk about what God has done for you. Tell someone about His love, mercy, provisions, and blessings in your life. As you do so, you’re helping him have faith for his own miracles, and like you he’ll testify to others too.

There’re children who shy away from responsibility. They shirk at chores and tasks given to them. That’s not a good behaviour. The Bible says you should do everything as unto the Lord. When you’re that way, it shows you are diligent and responsible.
Samuel, while he was serving with Prophet Eli, did everything he was told to do diligently, and without complaining. David started out by taking care of his father’s sheep and goats, until the Lord promoted him to be a great king. The Lord will give great responsibilities to those who have proven themselves faithful and diligent to their tasks. It’s no surprise that the Lord selected Samuel to be a renowned prophet after Eli, and David as a great king after Saul.
Like Samuel, wouldn’t you want to be the Lord’s preferred choice for greater responsibilities and blessings? Learn to be diligent and do your tasks as to the Lord.
