Wow! What a beautiful day it is today. It’s a day the Lord has made. Hallelujah! It’s a day to rejoice and enjoy all the beautiful things God made available to us.
Some people are so bothered by problems, and this makes them worry. They forget to take time out to enjoy their today. The Lord has given you today as a gift, and He wants you to enjoy every second of it!
So, don’t let anyone or anything take away your joy, thereby, denying you the opportunity to enjoy your day. Rather, rejoice always by keeping your attention on the Lord, and what He has said about you in His Word. Enjoy your day; it’s a beautiful one!

Do you know that it’s your responsibility to make yourself happy? Yes, it is. Don’t wait for anybody or anything to make you happy because the joy of the Lord is in your heart. God put it there the moment you were born again.
Therefore, learn to express this joy every day. Don’t wait for the right time; rather, show it and live it no matter what’s happening around you.
After all, Paul and Silas chose to be joyful and sang to the Lord heartily even while they were in prison (Acts 16:25-26). That’s the kind of life you should live; a life full of joy in the Holy Spirit!

A long time ago, I noticed a small growth in my body that wasn’t supposed to be there. Immediately, I knew I had to do something about it, otherwise, it’ll stay or get worse. I said to it, “I cut you out of my body in Jesus’ Name!” It didn’t go at once but I knew that God’s Word was more potent and powerful than whatever it was. So, I kept on speaking the Word to it. One morning, as I was in the bathroom, it just fell off. I had cut it out of my body with the Word!
God’s Word is the most powerful force in the universe; it can change any situation or cut out any growth from your body. There’s nothing God’s Word can’t fix. Put it to work today, as you declare faith-filled words, and you’ll have a miracle.

I love today’s memory verse. It shows us how to make power available through prayer. It’s the kind of prayer the Bible says is effective and fervent. The kind of prayer that produces power. I’m not talking about power to lift heavy objects, but power to change situations, and make things better.
The Bible shows us that Jesus prayed like that. No wonder He worked in the miraculous. Elijah was another man who prayed the effective and fervent prayer.
You too should learn to pray fervently and effectively to make power available to cause changes, and make things better. Glory to God!

Think about being in a mall and walking next to you is the President of your country. You’d feel really brave and special, knowing that a very important person is right there with you, wouldn’t you?
Your heavenly Father is the King of kings and the Lord of lords! He’s the most powerful being in the whole universe, and He lives in your heart. That means He’s with you everywhere you go—at school, at home, on the street, and at the mall. Isn’t that amazing?
You’re never alone, so don’t let anyone scare or bully you. You’re really special because the King of kings is in you and walks with you!

As a child of God, you’ve been given the responsibility of preaching the Gospel. What this means is that you’re to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ with you everywhere.
If you want those around you to experience miracles in their lives, then you must preach the Gospel. The Bible says, “And the disciples went everywhere preaching, and the Lord was with them and confirmed what they said by the miracles that followed their messages” Mark 16:20 (TLB). Preaching the Gospel is your responsibility; therefore, let nothing stop you.
You’re a carrier of the Good News of Jesus Christ, so preach everywhere. Let others be inspired by your message of love.

Inheritances are those very nice things a father passes on to his children to make their life better. God is the best Father there is, and as His child, He’s passed on several wonderful blessings to you.
He’s given you sound health, wealth, prosperity, success and so much more! Your responsibility is to take hold of all the Lord has given to you by simply doing the Word! The Bible says that Abraham was blessed in all things (Genesis 24:1). And you’re the seed of Abraham (Galatians 3:29); you’re also blessed in all things.
Therefore, put God’s Word to work in your life, for that’s how to take hold of your inheritance in Christ Jesus.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

A man brought his sick son to Jesus’ disciples to be healed, but they couldn’t heal him. The man went to Jesus and complained about how His disciples had tried but failed to cure his son. Jesus’ simple response to him was, “Anything is possible if you have faith.”
It makes no difference what you desire. Do you have faith for it? Do you believe that you can be healed of that pain in your body? Do you believe that you can be the smartest kid in your school? Always remember that if you have faith, anything is possible.
So, it doesn’t matter what your desire is, as long as you can believe it, you can have it, “for with God nothing will be impossible” (Luke 1:37). Glory to God!

The title of today’s devotion reminds me of a beautiful song I love to sing. It goes like this: “Down in my heart there is the nature of the Father, down in my heart there is the Spirit of the Lord, down in my heart the love of God is daily shed abroad, and in His Name I’ll do what He’s called me to do.” Hallelujah!
As God’s child, you have the same life and nature as your heavenly Father. That means you ought to think, talk and act like Him.
Therefore, be kind to everyone you meet today; treat and talk to them with love and compassion, just as your heavenly Father would.

DON’T BE SCARED OF THE NIGHT!
Genesis 1:4-5 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

God created both the daytime and night time, and He made them for you to enjoy. Sadly, some children still get scared when it’s night time. This shouldn’t be you.
The Bible says “The day is yours, the night also is yours; you have prepared the light and the sun” (Psalm 74:16). If the day and night belong to God, they belong to you too. He has prepared them for your use. See why you don’t have to be scared of the night anymore? It belongs to you!
So, speak to your night and say what you want it to be like. Then enjoy it with a sound sleep, and sweet dreams. Hallelujah!

CHOOSE “THE GOOD PART!”
Luke 10:41-42 And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

One day, the Lord Jesus visited Mary and Martha’s house. While He was there, He sat down and taught the people about the Kingdom of God. While Martha was busy cooking and serving food, Mary was seated, listening to the Master.
Mary knew how important the Word was. She cherished the Word, and to her, the presence of Jesus was more important than anything else. That’s the ‘good part’ the Lord spoke of in today’s memory scripture.
Just like Mary, you also should be excited at every opportunity you have to hear God’s Word. Don’t let video games, or TV programs keep you away from fellowshipping with the Lord; rather, give your full attention to the Lord and His Word!

As a child of God, your words are very important. The Bible says the words of your mouth can either put you in trouble, or keep you from it. Jesus said, “...The bad words that come out of your mouth are what make you unclean” (Matthew 15:11 CEV).
Can you see why it’s so important to watch what you say? You belong to God’s Kingdom, and that makes you different from everyone else. So let it show in your words. Use words that bless, encourage and strengthen others.

EVERYONE IS LOVEABLE!

Jesus loves everyone! It doesn’t matter who they are, or what they’ve done, He loves them all the same. The Bible says you’re just like Jesus (1 John 4:17), that means you too can love anyone, no matter who they are, or what they’ve done.
This reminds me of a story in the Bible about a woman. She was brought to Jesus by the Pharisees who accused her of doing something bad. They wanted her dead for her sin. But Jesus didn’t join the Pharisees to condemn her; rather, He loved her and told her, “…neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more” (John 8:11).
Sometimes, other people may act in ways or do things you don’t like; Jesus still expects you to love them the same way He loves you. So, learn to see others the way Jesus sees them.

PEACE IN YOUR HEART!

The Lord Jesus has given us His peace. Isn’t that great? This is the reason I’m always calm no matter the situation.
I want you to be this way too, where nothing troubles you. Remember, Jesus’ peace protects you from fear and worry. The Bible calls it ‘perfect peace’ (Isaiah 26:3), and it’s already in your heart. It isn’t like the world’s fragile peace. Hallelujah!
So, be at rest always, and let nothing and no one make you sad or worried, because the Lord has given you His peace to guard your heart. Glory to God!

The Bible says that the Word of God is full of living power (Hebrews 4:12); and it has the ingredients to make people great (Joshua 1:8). It can build you up and make you a success.
There’re many people, men and women, in the Bible who became great by following the Lord’s guidance. It made a young shepherd boy a King, a prisoner became a Prime Minister, an orphan girl became a Queen, and a virgin the mother of the Saviour of the world. Hallelujah!
God’s Word can do much more for you. No matter where you are right now, if you let the Word into your heart by studying and meditating upon it, it’ll build you up, and make you excellent in all you do. Therefore, make up your mind today to spend more time to study your Bible. It contains God’s Word, which can build you up and make your life a success.

YOU’RE GOD’S VOICE
Acts 26:16 But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you…to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you.

Today’s memory verse is the Lord’s instruction to Paul. This shows us that as God’s children, we are not only His representatives on earth but also His voice. Without Moses, the children of Israel may not have heard God directly. In the same way, you’re God’s voice to the people around you.
That means every time you open your mouth to preach the Gospel, the Lord speaks through you. So, those listening to you are actually hearing the Lord’s voice through you. Glory to God!
Therefore, spend more time each day, studying and meditating on God’s Word. As you do, the Lord will fill your heart with His Word and grace, and when you open your mouth to preach, the people will hear His voice in yours. And those who hear you will believe and be saved. Hallelujah!

The Bible tells the story of an army officer whose servant was very sick. He had tried everything to make him better but nothing worked. Then, he heard Jesus was coming to town, and immediately went to the Lord for help. He said to Jesus, “…only speak a word, and my servant will be healed” (Matthew 8:8).
Guess what? That’s exactly what happened! As soon as the Lord spoke the Word, the army officer’s servant was healed at that very moment. Glory to God!
Like this army officer, just believe and trust God’s Word that comes to you as you study your Bible or the Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers. As you do, you’ll experience the miraculous every day

The Bible gives us an account of what happened when Moses was before the Red Sea, and didn’t know what to do. At that point, he turned to God for help. But God stopped him, and told him what to do: “…Moses, “Why are you crying out to me?... Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water…” (Exodus 14:15-16 NIV).
This shows that the change you desire in your academics, body or in the life of a loved one is up to you to make it happen. Just like the Lord told Moses to act; and not “wait” for Him to do something, it’s up to you to change those situations by acting on God’s Word.
How? By declaring words of faith over the seemly difficult circumstances, and change them. Hallelujah!

Do you know God planned for you ever before you were born? Yes, He did! He told Jeremiah, “I knew you before you were formed within your mother’s womb...” (Jeremiah 1:5 TLB). Like He told Jeremiah, He’s telling the same to you today.
The Lord has a special plan for you and it’s different from anyone else’s. This is why you shouldn’t compare yourself with anyone. There’s no other person in the world exactly like you. You’re uniquely different and special. That’s the way the Lord made you. Aren’t you glad about that?
Therefore, live every day full of joy as you fulfill God’s plan for your life because you’re truly special to Him.
