As God’s child, you’ve got dominion and power over sickness, disease, and infirmities. Our Lord Jesus has empowered you through the power of the Holy Spirit to, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons…” (Matthew 10:8). Isn’t that awesome!
What this simply means is, beyond living in divine health, you can also become a channel of distributing God’s healing power to others.
So, if there’s anyone sick around you, just do what the Lord Jesus would do. Lay hands on the sick and command healing to his body, and it shall be so. Glory to God!

Therefore, learn to be thankful for what you have. When you live each day full of gratitude, you’ll always be happy and full of joy!

Saul, the king of Israel, hated David and tried to kill him. One day, as he journeyed with three thousand men, they stopped to rest in a cave. They didn’t realise David and his men where in that same cave. In excitement, David’s men advised him to strike Saul. But David didn’t, he knew that would be the wrong thing to do (1 Samuel 24:4- 6). How wise! If ever you find yourself in a situation everyone expects you to do the wrong thing, don’t listen to them. Rather, be wise and do the right thing even if no one is watching.

Some children are waiting to hear a voice speak to them just like God spoke to Moses or called out Samuel. But you don’t need to wait for an audible voice.
God speaks to His children all the time through His Word. God and His Word are one (John 1:1). His Word is His voice and your sure guide in life. As you study His Word each day, you’re exercising your spirit to hear Him talk to you.
I encourage you to keep spending quality time to study and meditate on the Word of God. As you do, you’ll receive God’s guidance and direction for a life of greatness, excellence and victory.

Today, some children might be tempted to be dishonest. Refuse to fall into that trap. Honesty is an excellent and godly character every child of God should imbibe.
Imagine you came across an item you like but isn’t yours, what do you do? The right thing to do is to take it to the ‘Lost but Found’ center or to a responsible adult. It would be dishonest to keep it to yourself even if no one claims it.
I encourage you to exhibit the right character everywhere you go. Be known as an honest boy or girl. Display this godly and excellent character always.

God’s Word is full of power and ability to cause changes! Every time it’s spoken in faith, no matter the situation, something miraculous occurs.
One day, a government official met the Lord Jesus. He asked the Master to come to his house to heal his son. The Lord simply spoke words declaring that his son had been healed. The man had faith in what Jesus said; he went home to meet his son healed (John 4:49-52).
God’s Word is alive, and full of power (Hebrews 4:12). It can heal, save and deliver. All you have to do is believe it, and you’d have a miracle!

When you come before God in praise and thanksgiving, your praise is actually a sacrifice. This is different from the sacrifices offered in the Old Testament; this is a sacrifice of your lips.
Every time you lift up your beautiful hands and raise your voice to worship and praise Him, your praises come up to Him as a sweet-smelling aroma. No need to offer bulls and sheep to the Lord as a sacrifice anymore. All you need to do is praise Him by yourself and with your own voice. Hallelujah!
So, be excited at every opportunity to offer your sacrifice of praise to the Lord.

There’s so much going on around the world that could make people live in fear. But as God’s child, you’re blessed and well-protected. Therefore, keep yourself within God’s provision and protection by refusing to talk fear or doubt.
Job was a righteous man and had been blessed by God. He however broke the hedge of protection around him with his careless talk (Job 3:25). He began talking his fears, and this gave the devil the opportunity to destroy all he had.
Don’t talk carelessly. Instead of talking fear and lack, keep declaring God’s Word over your life. Declare that you’re protected everywhere, and that angels are all around you to keep you safe.

A farmer who sowed only orange seeds will not have a harvest of mangos, will he? No! He’ll only get a harvest of oranges. Sowing and reaping is a law; you reap what you sow!
In the same way, as God’s child, if you sow seeds of kindness, obedience, and love, you’ll get a harvest of all these. Hallelujah!
So, if you’d like to receive more love, kindness and lovely things in your life, sow them as seeds by doing it to others. As you do, you’ll reap a mighty harvest of all you’ve sown.

If the ants, as little as they are, prepare and work ahead of time, you ought to too. The Bible encourages us to be hardworking, because hard work is one of the ingredients of success and excellence in life.
So, work hard, give attention to studying your books and doing your assignments diligently.

The word ‘’favourite’’ is derived from the word ‘’favour’’. To favour means to ‘delight in’ or ‘to be fond of’. Hence, when I say you’re God’s favourite, it means that God is delighted with and fond of you. Isn’t that awesome?
Isaac in the Bible was a favoured man. He sowed in a dry land during famine and in the same year, reaped a hundredfold harvest, and lived in plenty whilst others lacked (Genesis 26:12-13). So, refuse to let any situation make you perplexed. Rather, use faith-filled words to reorganize things. Keep speaking God’s Word; this is how to stay in charge and be victorious every day.

In the story of the ten lepers the Lord Jesus healed, only one returned to express his gratitude. The Bible says, “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks…” (Luke 17:15-16).
The Lord was so impressed by his attitude that He restored him to complete, perfect health. As God’s child, it’s important you maintain a grateful heart. When some kind of good is done for you; either a miracle from God or a kind gesture from someone, be quick to show gratitude. It’s a godly attitude to have.

Therefore, get excited at every opportunity to give, and give really big. Remember, such opportunities are opportunities to receive more blessings from the Lord, for “… God loves a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7).

In God’s eyes, everyone on earth has value. It doesn’t matter who they are, where they come from or what they’ve done; everyone is valuable to God. That’s why He sent Jesus to die for ‘all’; no one was excluded in His sacrifice on the Cross (John 3:16).
So you see, even that person everyone treats differently in class is precious and valuable; Jesus died for that person too.
So, always let the love of God flow through you to everyone; treat others with kindness and respect as the Lord treats them.

If you feel the symptom of fever in your body, do you at once see yourself in the hospital or missing classes in school? Or do you keep in mind the picture of your healing and wholeness, regardless of how you may be feeling?
When Moses sent twelve men to spy out Canaan, only Joshua and Caleb saw victory; the remaining ten could only see problems and defeat (Numbers 14:9). Joshua and Caleb looked with the eyes of faith and saw possibilities.
Learn to see with the eyes of faith, no matter how tough the situation may seem. Remember, “…If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23). So, train yourself to only see possibilities; see success, healing, and victory.

Divine wisdom is a precious gift from God to you. It is what makes you say and do the right things all the time. This kind of wisdom isn’t gotten from reading school textbooks and dictionaries; rather, it comes from God through His Word.
While on earth, the Lord Jesus walked in divine wisdom. No wonder the people always marveled at Him (Mark 6:2).
You have this same wisdom working in you today (1 Corinthians 1:30). Therefore, walk in wisdom and excellence at school, home, everywhere and in all things.

It would be almost impossible to talk about faith without mentioning Abraham (Romans 4:11). He had strong faith (Hebrews 11:17). He believed the Lord for a son, refusing to consider his and his wife’s aged body or her barrenness. The Bible says He was strong in faith, always giving glory to God. In due time, his wife became pregnant and gave birth to a son. Hallelujah!
Remember, God has given all of His children the measure of faith (Romans 12:3). But it’s your responsibility to grow and strengthen yours so you can do great things. How? By studying the Word and doing whatever it says.

As a child, you don’t need to worry about things like your school fees, what you’re going to eat, how you’re going to get to school and so on. Why? Because your parents or guardians have got them sorted.
In the same way, God doesn’t want you worrying about anything because He’s got it all sorted. The Bible says that the Lord knows the end of everything from its beginning (Isaiah 46:10). That means before anything happens, He already knows about it, and how it’s going to end.
Therefore, put your trust in Him for He’s got great and wonderful plans for your life.

So, live for Jesus as you shine brightly for your world to see His light in you.

If you’ve been to an arsenal, what you would find there are weapons. These weapons are used in combats.
As Christians we have weapons too; they aren’t physical weapons but spiritual. This means you can’t see them with your eyes.
Our weapon as God’s children is His Word (Ephesians 6:10-17). God’s Word is a mighty weapon for the child of God. You can get rid of evil thoughts and turn situations around by speaking His Word in faith. Always remember that God’s Word is, “…living and active. It is sharper than any two-edged sword… (Hebrews 4:12 GW). Hallelujah!

Humility is the secret to greatness. God loves and lifts up humble people; however, He resists those who are proud.
David is a good example for us to follow. He was humble. This was one of the qualities God saw in him and He chose him to be king over Israel. As the anointed and chosen king, David never spoke badly of or acted against King Saul even when he knew he was going to replace him on the throne. No wonder David became Israel’s greatest king. His humility positioned him for greatness.
Like David, learn to be humble; speak politely, be gracious and respectful to those around you
