Think about being in a mall and walking next to you is the President of your country. You’d feel really brave and special, knowing that a very important person is right there with you, wouldn’t you?
Your heavenly Father is the King of kings and the Lord of lords! He’s the most powerful being in the whole universe, and He lives in your heart. That means He’s with you everywhere you go—at school, at home, on the street, and at the mall. Isn’t that amazing?
You’re never alone, so don’t let anyone scare or bully you. You’re really special because the King of kings is in you and walks with you!

As a child of God, you’ve been given the responsibility of preaching the Gospel. What this means is that you’re to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ with you everywhere.
If you want those around you to experience miracles in their lives, then you must preach the Gospel. The Bible says, “And the disciples went everywhere preaching, and the Lord was with them and confirmed what they said by the miracles that followed their messages” Mark 16:20 (TLB). Preaching the Gospel is your responsibility; therefore, let nothing stop you.
You’re a carrier of the Good News of Jesus Christ, so preach everywhere. Let others be inspired by your message of love.

The Bible says that God knows what’s in your heart and what you need (Matthew 6:8). Yet, He expects you to ask for them when you pray. Why is that so?
Prayer is one of the ways to have fellowship with the Lord. That’s why He wants us to pray. This means that as you pray, you’re having fellowship with the Lord, just as you get the opportunity to cause changes in your world.
So, what’s that thing you desire? Ask your heavenly Father in prayer, and you’ll receive them “for everyone who asks receives…” (Matthew 7:8). Hallelujah!

Humility is the secret to greatness. God loves and lifts humble people; however, He resists those who are proud.
David is a good example for us to follow. He was humble. This was one of the qualities God saw in him and chose him to be King over Israel. As the anointed King, David never spoke badly of or acted against King Saul, who was after his life. Therefore, it’s no wonder David became Israel’s greatest King. His humility positioned him for greatness.
Like David, learn to be humble; speak politely, be gracious and respectful to those around you. Soon, you’ll be promoted beyond your imagination just as David was.

The Gospel of Jesus is for everybody. Every soul is important to the Lord, and He wants them to be saved (Luke 19:10). Through you, God can save and use a soul for His glory.
In Luke 15:7, the Bible tells us that, there’s joy in heaven over one sinner that repents. This means the Lord wants every soul to be won into His Kingdom and He’s counting on you to make that happen.
Anywhere you find yourself is an opportunity to win souls. Tell them about Jesus. Be bold to preach the Gospel of Jesus to everyone around you. It’s the right thing to do. Be a soul winner today!

Jesus loves everyone! It doesn’t matter who they are, or what they’ve done, He loves them all the same. The Bible says you’re just like Jesus (1 John 4:17), that means you too can love anyone, no matter who they are, or what they’ve done.
This reminds me of a story in the Bible about a woman. She was brought to Jesus by the Pharisees who accused her of doing something bad. They wanted her dead for her sin. But Jesus didn’t join the Pharisees to condemn her; rather, He loved her and told her, “…neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more” (John 8:11).
Sometimes, other people may act in ways or do things you don’t like; Jesus still expects you to love them the same way He loves you. So, learn to see others the way Jesus sees them.

The Lord Jesus has given us His peace. Isn’t that great? This is the reason I’m always calm no matter the situation.
I want you to be this way too, where nothing troubles you. Remember, Jesus’ peace protects you from fear and worry. The Bible calls it ‘perfect peace’ (Isaiah 26:3), and it’s already in your heart. It isn’t like the world’s fragile peace. Hallelujah!
So, be at rest always, and let nothing and no one make you sad or worried, because the Lord has given you His peace to guard your heart. Glory to God!

The Bible says that the Word of God is full of living power (Hebrews 4:12); and it has the ingredients to make people great (Joshua 1:8). It can build you up and make you a success.
There’re many people, men and women, in the Bible who became great by following the Lord’s guidance. It made a young shepherd boy a King, a prisoner became a Prime Minister, an orphan girl became a Queen, and a virgin the mother of the Saviour of the world. Hallelujah!
God’s Word can do much more for you. No matter where you are right now, if you let the Word into your heart by studying and meditating upon it, it’ll build you up, and make you excellent in all you do. Therefore, make up your mind today to spend more time to study your Bible. It contains God’s Word, which can build you up and make your life a success.

Today’s memory verse is the Lord’s instruction to Paul. This shows us that as God’s children, we are not only His representatives on earth but also His voice. Without Moses, the children of Israel may not have heard God directly. In the same way, you’re God’s voice to the people around you.
That means every time you open your mouth to preach the Gospel, the Lord speaks through you. So, those listening to you are actually hearing the Lord’s voice through you. Glory to God!
Therefore, spend more time each day, studying and meditating on God’s Word. As you do, the Lord will fill your heart with His Word and grace, and when you open your mouth to preach, the people will hear His voice in yours. And those who hear you will believe and be saved. Hallelujah!

The Bible tells the story of an army officer whose servant was very sick. He had tried everything to make him better but nothing worked. Then, he heard Jesus was coming to town, and immediately went to the Lord for help. He said to Jesus, “…only speak a word, and my servant will be healed” (Matthew 8:8).
Guess what? That’s exactly what happened! As soon as the Lord spoke the Word, the army officer’s servant was healed at that very moment. Glory to God!
Like this army officer, just believe and trust God’s Word that comes to you as you study your Bible or the Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers. As you do, you’ll experience the miraculous every day

IT’S UP TO YOU!
Hebrews 11:29 By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land, whereas the Egyptians, attempting to do so, were drowned.

The Bible gives us an account of what happened when Moses was before the Red Sea, and didn’t know what to do. At that point, he turned to God for help. But God stopped him, and told him what to do: “…Moses, “Why are you crying out to me?... Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water…” (Exodus 14:15-16 NIV).
This shows that the change you desire in your academics, body or in the life of a loved one is up to you to make it happen. Just like the Lord told Moses to act; and not “wait” for Him to do something, it’s up to you to change those situations by acting on God’s Word.
How? By declaring words of faith over the seemly difficult circumstances, and change them. Hallelujah!

Do you know God planned for you ever before you were born? Yes, He did! He told Jeremiah, “I knew you before you were formed within your mother’s womb...” (Jeremiah 1:5 TLB). Like He told Jeremiah, He’s telling the same to you today.
The Lord has a special plan for you and it’s different from anyone else’s. This is why you shouldn’t compare yourself with anyone. There’s no other person in the world exactly like you. You’re uniquely different and special. That’s the way the Lord made you. Aren’t you glad about that?
Therefore, live every day full of joy as you fulfill God’s plan for your life because you’re truly special to Him.

Cheerful givers are those who are always willing, and excited at every opportunity to give. According to today’s memory verse, God loves cheerful givers.
Therefore, whenever you get the avenue to give, whether it’s your offering or perhaps it’s to a friend in need, always do it with joy and gladness. Jesus said “If you give, you will receive” (Luke 6:38 NLT). Always remember that the Lord loves cheerful givers, and He blesses them too.
So, cheerful givers always have more to give. Therefore, learn to give cheerfully always.

Do you know you’re a superstar? Yes, you are! I’m not talking about movie stars. No! I mean stars according to God’s Word.
The Bible is full of examples of God’s children who shone like stars everywhere they were. Joseph was a star, and he shone so brightly that those around him knew he was blessed. Jacob was also a star. Abraham, Isaac, David and Solomon also were all stars according to God’s Word.
Therefore, let God’s beauty and excellence shine through you today, in the way you walk, talk and what you do. This way, others will be attracted to you, and you can lead them to the Lord.

THE IMPORTANCE OF DISCIPLINE

Being disciplined is important for everyone. A disciplined person is responsible, and diligent with the assignments he’s been given. He doesn’t play away his time or get distracted by others.
Our Lord Jesus was disciplined. He came to earth with a purpose to save the world, and He didn’t let anything or anyone distract Him from fulfilling His purpose. He was disciplined, and saw His assignment to the end.
As God’s child, you should learn to be disciplined in your assignments, and responsibilities. Don’t do them carelessly or half-heartedly; see them through to the end. When you treat your chores and assignments like this, you’re training yourself to be an excellent and responsible child.

There’re children who find it difficult to get unpleasant thoughts off their minds. But that’s not for you as a child of God, because God’s Word has been given to you to help you think thoughts that are good, beautiful and excellent.
How does this happen? It’s by filling your heart with God’s Word as you study and meditate on it every day. That way, the Word will make you think the right thoughts only.
So, as you study and meditate on God’s unfailing Word regularly, your mind will be filled with glorious, beautiful and excellent thoughts. Glory to God!

When you go out with your mum to shop for groceries, new clothes, or toys, you always want to select the best from what’s on display. That’s because you want the finest and best for yourself. What’s amazing is that God created you that way.
As God’s child, you’re God’s best! He created you in His image and after His likeness! That’s why God bought you with the greatest price He could ever pay, the blood of His precious Son, Jesus Christ.
If God didn’t mind paying such a great price for your salvation because you’re precious to Him, there’s nothing in this world that’s too good for you; because you’re His best! Hallelujah!

Being full of gratitude and giving glory to the Lord is something you must always do as a child of God.
David was a man who was full of gratitude. Many times, he expressed his gratitude to the Lord in songs and in psalms (Psalm 9:1-2). No wonder he lived such a great life, and was loved by the Lord too (Acts 13:22).
When some kind of good is done for you; either a miracle from God or a kind gesture from someone, be quick to show gratitude. Don’t live your life like those who do not recognize all the good things the Lord has done for them for which they ought to be grateful for. It’s important you maintain a grateful heart.
