A trailblazer is someone who does what no one has ever done; he’s the first to do something. Such people are special. The Bible is full of examples of God’s children who were trailblazers in their generations.
Remember David? He was just a young boy when he stood up for God’s people, and defeated the giant, Goliath. How about Joshua? He led God’s children into the Promised Land. And there’re lots more!
As God’s child, you’re a trailblazer to your world. Therefore, stand out in excellence, diligence and purity. That’s how to be a trailblazer for Him.

Speaking in tongues is an advantage to every child of God. Speaking in tongues often helps you stir up your spirit and activate the power of God in you. So, when you speak in tongues often, you’ll walk in the power of God.
The opening scripture are the words of Paul, the Apostle. He was full of the Holy Spirit, and did many mighty works for the Lord. His secret was in speaking in tongues often.
Like Paul, make it a habit to speak in tongues more. The more you do, the more you’re filled with the Spirit, and you’ll consistently experience the miraculous!

Our opening scripture is God’s declaration of Himself to Abraham. He wanted him to know that He’s his protection, guide, and that nothing can harm him. It’s like the shield used by soldiers in war combat. With it, they’re protected from the attacks of the enemy.
God wants you to know that He’s your shield. He protects, guides, and guards you against anything that would want to harm or hurt you.
This is why you should always be full of courage, and never afraid no matter what happens around you. Know it today that the great God of glory is your Protector and Shield. Hallelujah!

He values you very highly, and treasures you far above everything He created. That’s because you’re like Jesus. No wonder the Bible says, …as He is so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).
Therefore, think high of yourself because you’re important to Him. With your chin up and chest out, walk tall because your heavenly Father is pleased with you. Hallelujah!

Death isn’t from God; it’s an enemy. The good news is that it’s been defeated and completely destroyed by Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:25-26). Hallelujah!
The moment you were born again, you were born into life and “deathlessness” because you have eternal life! Do you know what that means? It means you have the same life God has. Hallelujah!
Therefore, you’re not subject to death. So, live every day with this mindset, knowing what you have is life, and not death. Glory to God!

The Gospel of Christ is the good news of God’s love for the whole world. It’s the only message that is able to save, heal and deliver anyone from any situation.
How will people hear it without a preacher? The great news is that you’ve been given the responsibility of declaring it; because you’re the preacher! So, “… preach God’s message. Do it willingly, even if it isn’t the popular thing to do” (2 Timothy 4:2 CEV).
Therefore, be bold to preach it everywhere you go: in school, at home, at the mall or even the playground.

The Bible tells us of how the Lord Jesus went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). He restored, healed and touched lives positively everywhere He went.
Today, though He’s in heaven, He lives and works through you and I. The same power with which He performed those good works is in you (Acts 1:8). That means you can do the same things He did, and much more (John 14:12).
So, as you go out today, let Jesus be seen in you as you display the virtues and excellences of God’s Kingdom.

True worship of God is the worship that’s done according to the instructions in God’s Word. Today’s memory verse teaches that singing new songs of worship is God’s instruction to us.
David, the Psalmist, understood the importance of worshipping God with new songs. That’s why he said, “Sing to the Lord a new song, And His praise from the ends of the earth” (Psalm 96:1). No wonder he lived a beautiful life of victory.
As you act on God’s Word today, singing new songs in worship to Him, your spirit will be stirred, and you’ll never be the same again. Hallelujah!

When I speak about the power of the human mind, I usually say, “Your imaginative power is your creative ability.” This simply means that your mind has the ability to create and bring forth what it thinks about.
Therefore, you should only allow positive thoughts in your mind. Never allow negative thoughts. For example, don’t imagine you’ll not pass a particular subject. Or that you’ll not get the bags, clothes, shoes and toys you ask for.
Only think thoughts of possibilities, goodness and prosperity. Remember, your life attracts what you think about. So, fill your heart with God’s Word, and your mind will produce positive thoughts always.

On a certain day, Jesus went up to the Mount with Peter, James and John to pray. While they were there, Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and God’s cloud covered them. That same cloud was with the Israelites in the wilderness for forty years. The Holy Spirit was the one in that cloud. He was with them all through (1 Corinthians 10:1-2).
But do know what’s amazing? As God’s child, the Holy Spirit is now in you and with you! Hallelujah! Everywhere you go, you carry this cloud of God’s glory with you. So, no harm can happen to you because you’re protected and covered by God’s cloud of glory!

Some children carry a long face and are sad when they face difficult situations, and see the situation as being bigger than them. But that isn’t what God’s Word teaches us. The Bible says that through all these things victory is ours through Jesus Christ (Romans 8:37).
If you’re born again, the Greater one lives in you, and He’s the one that gives you victory over every situation in life. That’s exactly what today’s memory verse is saying.
So, you have all it takes to live a beautiful, successful, victorious and prosperous life, because you were born a victor in Christ Jesus! Hallelujah!

Every time the Lord speaks to you, He speaks to your spirit. As His child, He speaks to you through His Holy Spirit in you and by His Word. But some of God’s children don’t hear Him when He’s talking to them.
So, be alert to the voice of the Lord because He always has something beautiful to say to you. The Bible says as many that are led by the Spirit of the Lord are sons of God. Even now, He’s speaking to you, as you read today’s devotional.

Some people have to watch a comic skit to get them excited when they’re feeling sad or gloomy. While some others rely on others to cheer them up when they feel unhappy.
As God’s child, you don’t need anyone or anything to make you happy. The joy of the Lord is inside you. This joy doesn’t depend on how you feel or what you see; it’s from your happy spirit! It’s what the Bible calls joy unspeakable!
You can laugh and be happy regardless of what’s happening around you. So, live everyday joyful and excited about the goodness of the Lord.

The Bible says that Jesus Christ has given you a beautiful life (John 10:10) and one of the ways to enjoy this beautiful life is to be healthy and strong.
The Lord doesn’t want anyone to be sick; sickness is from the devil. So, refuse to be sick. Stick to God’s Word, and continue to meditate on it, declaring that divine health is at work in you, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet. Hallelujah!

Once upon a time, the prophet Habakkuk was in a desperate situation. It seemed like everywhere he turned, nothing was going right. His situation was bad and gloomy. Yet, he didn’t let that rob him of his joy. In other words, he refused to let go of his joy.
You may be in a situation that’s got you feeling bad and sad. Don’t stay down and blue; get up and rejoice. Remember, the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and when you praise God, miracles always happen.
So, don’t let anything rob you of your joy; don’t let go of joy as you worship the Lord with all your heart!

What You Need To Know About The Events Of The Last Days - Part 4
I’m sure you’ve been learning a lot from God’s Word in our special series on what you need to know about the Events Of The Last Days. In this edition, you’ll learn about “The Great Tribulation.” Sure, you’re ready, let’s see it!
THE GREAT TRIBULATION
Matthew 24:21-29, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12
The Great Tribulation will begin immediately after the Church has been raptured. It won’t be a good time to be in the world. It’ll be a period of trouble and judgement for the sinners. The Bible calls it the days of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7). The Great tribulation will be known by the following happenings.
1. It’ll be a 7 year period, divided into two periods having 3 1/2 years each.
2. The Anti-Christ will be revealed during the great tribulation (Daniel 11:32; 2 Thessalonians 2:7-9).
3. The Anti-Christ will act like a man of peace for the first 3 1/2 years to deceive the world and make them trust him.
4. Some people will become Christians during this time after the rapture. They’re called the Tribulation Saints (Revelation 12:10- 11).
5. The Anti-Christ will torture people who refuse to take his mark, also known as the mark of the beast (Matthew 24:15-20).

How do I increase God’s grace in my life? You ask. It’s simple. The more of God’s Word you have in your spirit, the more His grace will increase in your life.
So, give attention to God’s Word and spend time to meditate on it. As you do, you’ll discover that His beauty, glory and goodness are on the increase in your life! Glory to God!

The Gospel of our Lord and Saviour is for everybody. He doesn’t want anyone to perish, but wants everybody saved (2 Peter 3:9). That’s why He needs every one of us to be involved in preaching the Gospel.
Remember the story of the maid of a general in the Syrian army? She knew about a prophet in Israel who could heal her master. She didn’t keep it to herself, but told her master about the prophet. The general got his miracle because his maid didn’t keep quiet.
The Lord wants you to be like that maid who will not keep the good news to herself, but tells everybody until everyone hears it. So, preach the Gospel to somebody today.

Today’s memory verse is one of my favourite scriptures. That’s because it’s exactly the way my life is: I don’t worry about anything.
God doesn’t want you to worry about anything too. That’s why He says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers” (Philippians 4:6 TLB). This is how to handle the worries that come to your heart.
So don’t let anything make you worry or sad. What’s that thing you need, tell the Lord about it in prayer, and His peace will fill your heart!

In the Bible, God spoke things into being. He used words to create everything we see today. That’s to say God’s Word is all powerful and creative.
As God’s child, you were born of the Word: “having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,” (1 Peter 1:23). It means you’re made of the Word! Glory to God!
So, let the same Word that brought you into being come out of your mouth often. Don’t be quiet. Speak God’s Word to your body, studies, loved ones, and you’ll see the results come to pass. Hallelujah!

‘Thank you’ are two very simple but powerful words that you must learn to use if you want to have a great life. Having an attitude of gratitude is a prerequisite for greatness in life. Therefore, people who are grateful always receive more blessings from God.
Remember the story of the ten lepers? It was the one who came back to express his gratitude to the Lord that was made whole (Luke 17:15-19).
So, be full of gratitude to the Lord every day, and let it show in the way you worship and praise Him.

The God-life is eternal life. It’s a supernatural life which is above the devil, sickness, diseases, failure or poverty. It’s the life of God, and it is what makes Him God! What’s more? You received the God-life the moment you were born again. Isn’t that wonderful? Sure, it is!
Rejoice that you’re born again, and invite others to make Jesus their Lord and Saviour so they too can have this awesome and beautiful life!

What You Need To Know About The Events Of The Last Days - Part 4
I’m sure you’ve been learning a lot from God’s Word in our special series on what you need to know about the Events Of The Last Days. In this edition, you’ll learn about “The Great Tribulation.” Sure, you’re ready, let’s see it!
THE GREAT TRIBULATION
Matthew 24:21-29, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12
The Great Tribulation will begin immediately after the Church has been raptured. It won’t be a good time to be in the world. It’ll be a period of trouble and judgement for the sinners. The Bible calls it the days of Jacob’s trouble (Jeremiah 30:7). The Great tribulation will be known by the following happenings.
1. It’ll be a 7 year period, divided into two periods having 3 1/2 years each.
2. The Anti-Christ will be revealed during the great tribulation (Daniel 11:32; 2 Thessalonians 2:7-9).
3. The Anti-Christ will act like a man of peace for the first 3 1/2 years to deceive the world and make them trust him.
4. Some people will become Christians during this time after the rapture. They’re called the Tribulation Saints (Revelation 12:10- 11).
5. The Anti-Christ will torture people who refuse to take his mark, also known as the mark of the beast (Matthew 24:15-20).

There’re times you want to pray about something or someone but may not have the complete information on what to actually pray about. You don’t need to worry because the Holy Spirit will help you pray with full understanding.
That’s what today’s memory verse says. The Holy Spirit will help your limitation by providing the details you need to be able to pray effectively.
That’s why it’s important you speak in tongues when you pray. As you do, the Holy Spirit Himself will take over your prayer, and intercede in your behalf. Hallelujah!

Righteousness is the nature of God; it’s the ability to do right. When you were born again, you received righteousness into your spirit. Jesus Christ immediately becomes your righteousness. And guess what? You’re now as righteous as Jesus is righteous! Hallelujah!
Because you’re righteous, you can stand in God’s presence without feeling ashamed or condemned. Therefore, you don’t have to be afraid or ashamed in God’s presence; rather, you can stand before Him boldly.
That also means you can make your request to Him and expect answers. That’s the effect of His righteousness in your life!
