Prophet Elisha and his servant were surrounded by a great army of enemies. Elisha’s servant was afraid. Elisha told him not to be afraid, and he prayed to the Lord to open his eyes. The Lord did, and he saw a great army of angels protecting them (2 Kings 6:17).
Every child of God has angels. They’re with you everywhere you go. They’ve been specially sent by the Lord to guide and protect you always. Hallelujah!

I’m sure you wouldn’t let anyone put their fingers in your eyes. It’s because your eyes are very important to your body. In today’s memory verse, the Lord refers to you as “…the apple of His eye.” That means you’re special and important to Him!
Just as you wouldn’t allow anyone put their fingers in your eyes, the Lord protects and watches over you. Anyone who tries to hurt you would have to go through God first because you’re the apple of His eye.
Can you see how important you are to God? He’s concerned about you and watches over you everywhere you go.

The Lord Jesus while on earth lived a life of victory and dominion. He conquered every challenge that came His way. He didn’t do it with a sword, or any other weapon. He did it with His Words.
He’s telling you to do the same today. With your mouth, speak faith-filled words of blessing and dominion over every challenge that comes to you, and you’ll see how beautiful your life will be!

Today’s memory verse are the words of Jesus. No one ever talked like Jesus. When He said “…I am from above.” He wasn’t talking about His physical body, He was talking about His Spirit.
Like the Lord Jesus, the moment you were born again, your origin changed. You’re not of the world, you’re from above: you’re a citizen of Heaven.
This is why sickness and failure can’t stay in you; you’re a citizen of Heaven, and in our Kingdom, we don’t talk sickness neither do we fail. Hallelujah!

Remember David? He was the last-born and a young lad. His father gave him the responsibility of caring for the sheep, and David did this diligently and without complaining. When he had to run other errands, he made sure the sheep were well taken care of until his return. That’s being responsible!
As a child, you have responsibilities at home, chores that you’re expected to perform everyday.
Be a responsible child. Just like David, do your tasks, assignments or chores at home diligently. God is watching you, and He’ll reward your diligence.

One of the wonderful things the Holy Spirit does for you when you receive Him is that He gives you understanding. He is the Spirit of understanding and the One who teaches you all things (1 John 2:20).
He can teach you that tough subject, assignment or task at school, and help you understand it. And you’ll become a marvel to those around you.
Learn to walk with Him everyday as you pray in tongues. He’ll open your heart, and fill it with understanding of all things.

As God’s child, you were made perfect the moment you were born again. That’s why the Bible says you’re wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). You are complete and perfect. There’s nothing missing or left out in you.
You’re complete and perfect just as Jesus is. That’s why the Bible says that you’re exactly like the Lord in this world (1 John 4:17). Isn’t this great?
So, take a good look at the person you see in the mirror, and say “I’m perfect and complete in Christ.” Glory to God!

The Lord is merciful, gracious and kind. Sadly, not everyone knows this about Him. Some still feel the Lord looks for ways to punish them when they do wrong.
That’s not what the Bible teaches. It says, “He is merciful and tender toward those who don’t deserve it; He is slow to get angry and full of kindness and love” (Psalm 103:8 TLB).
His loving-kindness and mercies are for everyone no matter who they are or what they’ve done. That’s how loving our Father is! You can take out some time today to thank the Lord for His mercies toward you as you worship Him!

To be peculiar means you’re unique, oneof-a-kind, and really special. That’s who you are as God’s child. Everything about you is extraordinary. This makes you different from everyone else. The Bible says you’re “…a holy nation, His own special people…” That’s you! This should put some springs to your steps!
The Lord Jesus, while on earth, lived differently from everyone around Him. He was a wonder to them (Matthew 8:27).
So, wherever you may be today, live as a true example of an excellent child of God in the way you talk and act. Let everything about you show you’re truly a child of God who’s peculiar in every way.

Wow! Did you just see that? It says “… it makes Him happy when His people pray” (Proverbs 15:8 CEV). This means God is always excited to hear you pray.
Knowing this should fill you with joy and boldness whenever it’s time to pray and have fellowship with the Lord. The Bible says, “…With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God” (Philippians 4:6 CEV).
So, be bold to make your request from the Lord today. Remember, He loves to hear you, and He’s waiting to grant your heart’s desire.

Do you remember Nehemiah? He was an officer in the king’s palace when he heard that the walls of Jerusalem were in ruins. That news inspired him to do something about it. So, he volunteered to serve. And the Lord helping him, he rebuilt the walls.
As God’s child, you should be excited, and inspired to do something good for your family, neighbourhood, class, school or country, no matter how little it may be.
Serve with diligence and joy, and the Lord will promote you to do more.

It’s sad to see how selfish the world has become; people looking out only for themselves, and not caring about others.
But as God’s children, we’re not this way. God’s love has been shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5), and an important quality of God’s love is that it isn’t selfish. God’s love doesn’t look out for itself but cares for others too. This is why you shouldn’t be selfish.
Therefore, be different as you let the love of God in you flow freely as you show others genuine care, kindness and love.

Have you seen a herd of sheep before? They’re a group of sheep and are often led by a shepherd. As long as the sheep stay together and follow the shepherd, they can’t be easily attacked.
It’s the same with God’s family. Being with the family of God means you’re in a herd that’s led by the great Shepherd the Lord Jesus. As long as you remain in the herd, it’ll be difficult for Satan to attack you.
So, fellowship often with other believers, and always be in church when you should, and on time too. That’s how to stay in the herd!

Like the Lord Jesus, do something special to or for everyone you meet today. Go out of your way to be kind and helpful today.

This anointing isn’t operating only at special times; it’s operating all the time. All you have to do is get it working by spending time in fellowship with the Holy Spirit, the Word, and other believers.
Take advantage of the anointing, and walk in excellence every day. Glory to God!

After the glorious resurrection of Jesus, He declared to His disciples that all authority in heaven and in earth had been given unto Him. That means men, angels, and everything on the earth are subject to Jesus and must obey His voice.
The Lord Jesus is no longer physically on the earth, but you‘re representing Him today. He says in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give you the authority…over all the power of the enemy…” This means you have authority over everything in heaven and on earth.
Use that authority today to keep the devil and his demons where they belong— under your feet. Hallelujah!

As a child of God, there’s a right way to talk. Remember, your words are full of power that’s why you should be mindful of the words you speak (Ecclesiastes 8:4). You shouldn’t use words that are offensive and foul.
You’re different from the rest of the world. So, talk differently. The Lord Jesus, while on earth, knew He was a King and spoke as one.
Therefore, “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”

Today’s memory verse captures the words of Jesus. He’s telling you to love both those who like you and those who don’t like you! Surprised? You shouldn’t be.
As God’s child, love is your nature; there shouldn’t be anyone you can’t love. Remember, God poured out His love toward everyone in the world whether or not they deserved it. He loves us all, no matter how different we are.
He’s telling you to do the same. In all you do today, in the words you speak and your actions too, let His love lead you.

To be a wonder means to be an amazement, a surprise to many. This is what the Lord has made you! The moment you received eternal life, you became a wonder because God’s Spirit lives in you and He’s made you a wonder to your world.
Gideon was the youngest child in his family, and no one thought much of him. But when the Lord took over his life, He made Gideon a “…mighty man of valour” (Judges 6:12).
Like Gideon, shine everywhere you go as you display the excellence and perfections of our heavenly Kingdom.

When the Lord Jesus died on the cross, He paid the full price for your salvation. The salvation His sacrifice brought you is a complete package. There’s nothing missing, and there’s nothing more to be added. What He did on the cross was enough.
He paid the full price for your healing, righteousness, success and victory so you would never live in lack, sin, sickness or failure ever again. Hallelujah!
So, walk in the victory of the Lord as you make your faith-filled confessions daily

If, after being out on the playground all day you come home looking dirty, that won’t make you any less a child of your parents. All your mum would do is get you out of your dirty clothes, have you take a wash and put on some fresh and clean clothes.
It’s the same way with the Lord. If you made a mistake, you don’t have to stay feeling sorry for yourself. Simply ask the Lord for forgiveness. He’s more than able to wash you clean and give you a fresh start.

Joshua and the children of Israel stood before the great walls of Jericho. The Word of the Lord came to them, instructing them on what to do to bring those walls down (Hebrews 11:30). They didn’t doubt but acted on the Word and got a mighty miracle!
What situation are you faced with today? Don’t be afraid or intimidated. Hold on to the Word and keep declaring it. Your victory is sure!

One day, the Lord Jesus met a sick man by the pool of Bethesda. He asked him if he wanted to be healed. Rather than saying ‘yes’, he began to complain of how no one had helped him. Some of God’s children are this way. They complain and whine but never ask.
If your parents can get you nice gifts when you ask, “…how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (Matthew 7:11).
The Lord will never withhold good things from you. So, be bold to make your requests to Him today

Every child of God is given the measure of faith. But you shouldn’t stay with that because it’s small. You’ve got to grow your faith from a little faith to a great faith.
Every time you hear God’s Word, faith comes to your heart. But what do you do with that faith? You act on it! Don’t wait a day or two, act on it. As you do, your faith grows and it’s strengthened.
So, as you hear God’s Word today, act on it. It may be a Word on soul winning, or giving, or treating others with love, don’t wait, act on it immediately!
