God loves and blesses faithful people. Faithfulness is a quality every child of God should demonstrate. Faithful people do the right things all the time, even when no one is looking or praising them for it.
David displayed this excellent quality. He was faithful in tending to his father’s sheep; God saw this and promoted him to be king of Israel (2 Samuel 7:8).
God always rewards faithfulness; be faithful in all you do for Him even when it seems no one is watching.

Take a good look at yourself as you stand in front of a mirror; that person you’re seeing on the other side is a special creation. You’re unique and one-of-a-kind. There’s no one on this earth that’s exactly like you. No one talks and laughs like you.
So, stand out from the crowd today as you shine with your excellent character in Christ. Glory to God!

If you desire a change in any area of your life, you must first change the way you do things.
For example, if you want better grades at school, you’d have to change how and when you study your books. Start out by getting to school early and paying attention in class. When you return home, read your books, and do your homework. As you do this regularly, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, you’ll have the excellent results you desire.
So, if you want things to change, then change the order by doing things differently and excellently.

People go to the bank for different reasons. While some are there to make deposits to their bank accounts, others go to collect money. It’s the same with your heart. However, you don’t deposit money into your heart; rather, you deposit words.
Every time you study and meditate on the Word, you’re making a deposit of God’s Word into your spirit. Glory to God!
So, don’t relent; keep up the habit of fellowshipping with the Word daily and making Word-deposits in your spirit for your spiritual growth.

The instruction on what to do with God’s Word is very clear from today’s opening scripture: it says, “...for God has said... So we can say with confidence....” In other words, God has given us His Word so that we can say the same thing in agreement.
Confession is speaking God’s Word in agreement with Him. This is how to get the Word of God working in your life. God’s Word is powerful, and it can take you from victory to victory. Therefore, speak it in boldness and faith no matter what’s happening around you.

There’s a beautiful rhyme you should learn. It goes thus: “My head, my shoulders, my knees, my toes, they all belong to Jesus.” How true that is! And because your body belongs to Jesus, you have a responsibility to keep it clean and healthy.
The reason some people get sick is that they don’t keep their bodies clean. You shouldn’t be that way.
Therefore, have your bath and brush your teeth regularly, and develop the habit of keeping your surroundings clean always. And remember to always speak faith-filled words over your body. This is how to care for your body, which has been given to you by God!

That means this great and beautiful world God made, along with all that’s in it, belongs to you! Remember, “God promised Abraham and his descendants that he would give them the world” (Romans 4:13 CEV).
Therefore, walk tall with your chin up and chest out, for all the goodness in the world is for you to enjoy (Psalm 33:5).

What did Jesus do? The Bible says that Jesus went everywhere doing good and blessing people. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38).

Today’s memory verse is talking about our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He came to the world to redeem all mankind from their sin. That was why He died, and on the third day He resurrected so that all men would receive salvation. He is the Saviour of the world and the only way to God, the Father.
As God’s child, the Lord wants you to tell everyone about Him. He wants you to tell them all He has done for them. Tell them He has paid the price for their sin so they don’t have to continue in sin or suffer and be in pain anymore. Glory to God!

Some children are ashamed to identify with Jesus or His people. So, they hide their Bibles because they don’t want their friends to laugh at them. You shouldn’t be like that.
Rather, you should be proud to be identified with Jesus and God’s people. Also, be glad to show Him off to your friends and classmates through your words and actions.
Therefore, celebrate Jesus as you boldly declare His Love and message of salvation everywhere you go and to everyone you meet today.

A Word-workout simply is fellowshipping with the Word. Your personal times of study with the Word are like workout sessions where you train your spirit. With every Wordwork out session, your spirit becomes ‘fitter’ to handle the challenges of life.
So, just as you’re doing now studying your daily devotional, make it a habit to have a Word-workout every day!

It’s God’s desire that you pray for others. As a child of God who’s full of the Holy Spirit, you have power in you (Acts 1:8). And when you pray, you can create enough power to change a person’s life or situation.
Therefore, at every opportunity to pray for God’s people, either during a church meeting or during your personal prayer time, be passionate about it.
Pray for their health, safety and protection. As you pray for them, you’re also strengthened, kept safe; for what you make happen for others, God will also make happen for you.

Generosity is one of the hallmarks of Christianity. Our God is gracious and kind.
You never lose out by giving to others. Rather, when you give, you’re blessed (Luke 6:38). The Bible says “When you give to the poor, it’s like lending to the LORD, and the LORD will pay you back” (Proverbs 19:17 TLB).
Therefore, at every opportunity be prompt to give. In church, you have several opportunities to give and help others. You can ask your parents or Sunday school teacher more about this.

In the story of the ten lepers the Lord Jesus healed, only one returned to express his gratitude. The Bible says, “And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks…” (Luke 17:15-16).
The Lord was so impressed by his attitude that He restored him to complete, perfect health. As God’s child, it’s important you maintain a grateful heart. When some kind of good is done for you; either a miracle from God or a kind gesture from someone, be quick to show gratitude. It’s a godly attitude to have.

You’re not ordinary. Your life is meant to be a colourful and exciting one. You’re the very product of God’s all-powerful Word, the same Word that created the heavens and the earth (Hebrews 11:3).
So, continue to speak faith-filled words over your life. That’s how to beautify your life every day. Glory to God!

The Name of Jesus is powerful. But this power has nothing to do with how the Name is spelt or pronounced. As a matter of fact, the Name of Jesus is spelt and pronounced differently in different parts of the world. So, where’s the power? The power is in the person behind the Name—the Lord Jesus!
Our Lord Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He’s the greatest of all, highly exalted above the heavens and His glory above all the earth. Hallelujah!
So, when you call upon His Name in faith, everything must hear and obey because He’s the Man behind the Name.

Buffets are popularly known as have ‘all-you-can-eat’. This is because various types of meals are served for everyone present, and you can take as much as you want. Just as there’re food buffets, there’s also a ‘buffet’ of the Word.
God’s Word is available to all, and you can take as much as you want. What’s more, unlike physical food you could get tired of, your spirit will never get tired of feasting on God’s Word.
Therefore, have a feast of the Word every day and watch your life move from glory to glory!

As God’s child, that same Spirit lives in you today and has given you an exciting life full of miracles and victories!

Today’s opening scripture were David’s words. When he stood before Goliath, he didn’t brag about how sharp his sword was or how skilled he was at using a sling, no. He bragged in the Almighty God.
As a young boy, David had so much faith and trust in God, and he wasn’t ashamed to brag about it.
Like David, learn to make your boast in your Heavenly Father. Remember, He’s the Greater One who lives in you. So, let those in your world know how mighty your Heavenly Father is, the One behind all you are and all you have!

But he knew he was more than a conqueror because God was with him (1 Samuel 17:37). No wonder he defeated the giant even though he wasn’t a skilled soldier.
Today, not only is God with you, He’s also in you through the Holy Spirit. His presence in you has made you a champion!
Have no cares or concern about anything. Is it a subject, your health, or a loved one? It makes no difference whatever it is. Declare faith-filled words about them, and you’ll have the miracle you desire.

The Word is like a mirror. As you study it, it shows you who you really are in Christ and what you have.
So, as you look into the mirror of God every day, always remember what you see by acting on it. That way, you won’t be “…a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work…” (James 1:25). Hallelujah!

From childhood, Moses knew God had chosen him to be a great leader of the Israelites (Hebrews 11:24).
One time, he fought against an injustice meted out to a Jew by an Egyptian (Exodus 2:11-14). At other times, he fearlessly confronted Pharoah to demand the release of the Israelites from Egypt (Exodus 5:1). Like Moses, be bold and always speak up, especially for those who can’t, and make sure to always speak the truth.
Moses refused to be discouraged by Pharoah’s initial refusal. It was Moses’ tenacity, backed up by God’s mighty hands, that gave Israel freedom from Egypt.

Sometime ago, I had an encounter with a man whose wife was sick. He was desperate to get my attention, so he was screaming, “My wife is dying!” Immediately, I chided him to stop saying that because what you say is what you have. Then, I told him to speak life to his wife. Instantly, the woman who was very sickly got up, completely healed. Hallelujah!
As God’s child, what you say with your mouth is important. Learn to speak life to your body, academics, and everything that concerns you. Refuse to talk fear or sickness.
So, say only words of blessings, health, success, prosperity and victory to yourself and people around you.

The Bible tells an inspiring story of Queen Esther. God used her to stop a plot to destroy the Jews. The plot was hatched by a vicious man named Haman. Esther’s foster father, Mordecai, found out about this terrible plan and immediately sent words to Esther.
Though it was dangerous for her to see the king uninvited, nonetheless, she went to the king and convinced him to change his mind. Esther’s bravery saved the Jews, her own people
Like Esther, you should be brave for the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Don’t be intimidated or allow anything stop you from telling others about Jesus.

As God’s child, you’ve got dominion and power over sickness, disease, and infirmities. Our Lord Jesus has empowered you through the power of the Holy Spirit to, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons…” (Matthew 10:8). Isn’t that awesome!
What this simply means is, beyond living in divine health, you can also become a channel of distributing God’s healing power to others.
So, if there’s anyone sick around you, just do what the Lord Jesus would do. Lay hands on the sick and command healing to his body, and it shall be so. Glory to God!

Saul, the king of Israel, hated David and tried to kill him. One day, as he journeyed with three thousand men, they stopped to rest in a cave. They didn’t realise David and his men where in that same cave. In excitement, David’s men advised him to strike Saul. But David didn’t, he knew that would be the wrong thing to do (1 Samuel 24:4- 6). How wise! If ever you find yourself in a situation everyone expects you to do the wrong thing, don’t listen to them. Rather, be wise and do the right thing even if no one is watching.

God speaks to His children all the time through His Word. God and His Word are one (John 1:1). His Word is His voice and your sure guide in life. As you study His Word each day, you’re exercising your spirit to hear Him talk to you.
I encourage you to keep spending quality time to study and meditate on the Word of God. As you do, you’ll receive God’s guidance and direction for a life of greatness, excellence and victory.
