It’s very important you watch what comes out of your mouth always. Your words are powerful, and what you say will definitely come to pass. This is why it’s so vital you watch your words, and always say the right things.
The Shunammite woman’s story is an example for us. She had just lost her only child, and when Prophet Elisha asked her what was the matter, she said “…It is well” (2 Kings 4:26). What a confession! It wasn’t a surprise she got her dead child raised back to life (2 Kings 4:26-37).
Don’t be quick to complain and say negative words. Be full of God’s Word and always speak it forth in faith no matter the situation. As you do, you’re creating for yourself a life of glory, beauty and excellence.

Today’s memory scripture shows us how a nation is exalted and destroyed. Through our words of blessing, our nation is blessed, prosperous and progressive, but the mouth of the wicked can also destroy it through words. This shows that there’s power in words (Proverbs 18:21).
I, therefore, encourage you to keep speaking only words of blessing, peace, progress and prosperity to your country. Don’t join those that complain; rather, show them through God’s Word how to speak rightly about their countries. When you learn to talk right about your country, you’ll see the blessings, goodness and mercy of God over it continually.

This prayer is simply thanking, praising and worshipping the Lord for what He’s done for you, your family, friends, church and country.
One day, Jesus entered a village where He met and healed ten lepers. They all went away rejoicing but only one of them returned to thank Jesus. For that reason, not only was he healed, every part of his body that was affected by the leprosy was made whole (Luke 17:11-19).
Therefore, let your heart be full of praise and thanksgiving today for all the Lord has done for you. Be filled with gratitude for all He’s done for you. Remember, the Lord deserves all your praise and adoration.

Intercession means speaking or pleading on behalf of someone. When you intercede in prayer, you're speaking to the Lord on behalf of someone else.
As God's child, you have a responsibility to pray for your loved ones, parents, friends, neighbours, and your country. It's an important responsibility.
Take out time to pray for children that are sick in hospitals, those in orphanages, and those who don't have people to care for them. Pray that the will of God be done in their lives, and the power of the enemy be broken off them. When you intercede for them like this, you make it possible for God's will to be established in their lives.

The Lord chose you to tell those in your world; your class, home, and neighbourhood about Him and what He’s done. This is a precious and important assignment. And I encourage you to take it very seriously.
Reach out to your friends, classmates, neighbours, and family with the Gospel and win them for Jesus.

As you’re being taught in school, you take notes so you can do a personal study when you get back home. In the same way, as you hear and study the Word, you’ve got to write things down, and keep them in your heart. You keep the Word in your heart through meditation.
This is why I always encourage you to meditate on, and speak the Word. As you do so, the Word stays in your heart, driving it deeper into your spirit, and nothing can remove it. When you do this often, you fill your heart with the Word, and you can be sure you’ll always experience the blessedness of the Word. Hallelujah!

Who is a highflyer? A highflyer is someone with great ability and ambition to be the best, especially in academics. In other words, a highflyer is someone who is excellent in his studies.
We read in the Bible of God’s children who were all highflyers, and people of excellence. Daniel in today’s memory verse was one of them. He was the best amongst his peers! This is God’s desire for you too.
Pay attention in class; do your assignments diligently and spend quality time to study your subjects. This is how to be a highflyer. Remember, God wants you to be on top and always winning

Just as you have chores at home—it might be to fold your clothes, keep your room clean, or wash the dishes—prayer is your spiritual duty. As God’s child, it’s not optional for you to pray; it’s compulsory.
From today’s memory verse, the Lord has shown us the list of people we should pray for. You should pray for your friends, loved ones, neighbours, the leaders of your country, and as many as the Lord lays in your heart.
Therefore, take out special times today to pray for them. Remember, this is your spiritual responsibility.

Every child of God was born perfect through the Word. God’s Word perfects everything about you; this includes your health, and academics.
Therefore, if there’s an area in your life where you feel you’re not at your best, you can bring perfection to it!
Speak faith-filled words over that area; say what the Word has said boldly. It might be your health; declare that by His stripes you were healed, and that you walk in divine health. If it’s about your academics, declare, “I am the head, not the tail.” This is how to bring perfection into every area of your life.

Some people look out only for themselves, but God’s children shouldn’t be this way.
Remember, God’s love has been shed abroad in our hearts (Romans 5:5). That means we have the nature of God- Love! An important quality of God’s love is that it’s selfless. This is why you shouldn’t be selfish. God’s love doesn’t look out for itself, but, cares for others.
Therefore, be different as you let the love of God in you flow freely to others: show them genuine care, kindness and grace.

In today’s opening scripture, the Lord Jesus shows us that the secret to greatness is service. Great people serve because that’s the secret to their greatness.
David served his family by taking care of his father’s sheep, and because of this attitude, God promoted him to be king of His people, Israel. No wonder he’s thought to be the greatest king Israel ever had, and it all started from an attitude of service.
Learn to serve. When you’re asked to do chores at home or a task in school, don’t sulk or throw a fit; rather, like David, be humble and serve joyfully. This is the secret to greatness.

In the last three days, I’ve shared with you different kinds of prayer.
To have a rich fellowship with the Lord, you’ve got to pray. I call it praying from your heart, as described in today’s memory scripture; that’s earnest prayer. Praying from your heart makes prayer exciting and enjoyable.
To pray from your heart is to stay focused on what you’re praying about without distractions. This isn’t the time to think about ice cream or toys, nor is it the time to look around. No! It’s a time to concentrate on what you’re praying about. When you stay focused in prayer, it’ll be easy to hear from the Lord, and receive answers to your prayer too.

The Prayer of Agreement is when two or more people come together to pray about a particular thing or for someone.
Remember Daniel and his friends? King Nebuchadnezzar had a puzzling dream; he commanded all the wise men in his kingdom to tell him the dream and its meaning, but none of them could. Then, Daniel called his three friends, and they prayed about it, and God answered; He showed Daniel the dream and its interpretation (Daniel 2:17- 23).
Is there something or someone you would love to pray for? You can call on your friends to join their faith to yours as you pray about it; and you would have the miracle you desire.

I love today’s memory verse; it’s one of my favourite scriptures. Every time I read it, it fills me with so much courage and strength. They’re the words of Jesus, and He’s telling you today that no matter what comes your way, you should be of good cheer. Why? Because He’s overcome them all for you!
No wonder the Bible says in all these things you’re already more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). There’s nothing too big or difficult that can stand against you. It’s impossible! Jesus already conquered them all, and gave you the victory.

SEED TIME AND HARVEST!
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22

Seed time is the time set aside for planting seeds while harvest is the time for gathering the crops. Therefore, if a farmer wants more crops, he’s got to sow his seeds during seedtime.
This also applies in God’s Kingdom. Your seedtime is that opportunity you have to sow a seed. It might be an act of kindness or giving an offering in church. When such opportunities come, take advantage of them, and sow. As you sow, your harvest is guaranteed, and it’ll be a bountiful harvest of what you’ve sown. Hallelujah!

When a farmer plants a seed, he doesn’t just leave it there to grow on its own. No! He tends to it by watering it, and ensuring it gets enough sunlight.
According to today’s memory verse, you’re the planting of the Lord. And that means the Lord will take care of you and tend to you than the farmer could ever care for his farm.
Remember, He’s your Shepherd (Psalm 23:1); therefore, trust Him to beautify your life, and make it excellent. So, there’s no cause to worry about your tomorrow. Glory to God!

The branch of a tree is the part of the tree that produces fruits. For the branch to always be fruitful, it must remain connected to the tree.
As a child of God, you’re the branch while Jesus is the Vine. So, if you want to keep producing fruits of righteousness, love, peace, and success, you must remain connected to Him. Make it a habit to fellowship with the Lord Jesus daily through the study of the Word. This is how you remain connected to Him, and keep producing fruits.

Today is Sunday, and it’s another day to worship the Lord with other believers. The Bible says in God’s presence is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11).
Think of it: if you put your cup under the tap to get some water then it gets filled to the brim, it’ll start overflowing. Isn’t it? That’s how much joy you get in God’s presence; overflowing joy—so much that it spills out to everyone around you.
So, enjoy each moment you spend in God’s house today, and let His joy in you overflow to everyone around you.

God is the greatest; yet as great as He is, He regards everyone. He sent His Son, Jesus, to pay the price for the salvation of everyone in the world no matter who they are or what they’ve done. His mercy and love are for everyone.
Therefore, you should have regard for people too. Regarding others means you treat them honourably, and respectfully no matter who they are. This is the right way to behave as God’s child. Remember, “you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48 TLB).

As God’s child, people look up to you. The Bible instructs that you should be an example in word, behaviour, faith, and purity (1 Timothy 4:12). In other words, let your life point people to Jesus.
Be that child that reflects the love, kindness, grace, goodness, and excellence of the Lord everywhere you go. Let the light of God in you shine brightly to your world as you show them the more excellent way to live.
