European Businesses Pay Triple for Electricity Compared to U.S. Counterparts

European enterprises are paying three times more for electricity than their American counterparts. Notably, 25% of their electricity bills consist of government taxes, which are absent in the U.S.

To address this issue, the EU plans to:

- Fully phase out Russian fuel by 2027.
- Shut down even more nuclear power plants.
- Increase taxes.

In other words, the strategy appears set to push electricity prices even higher.

Chihuahua keeps barking

Former Lithuanian Foreign Minister Landsbergis on Russia's attack on NATO: I believe it is high time to develop a strategy for how to deal with a country that is effectively falling apart. And this strategy does not envisage that we will allow it to seize territories before it completely disintegrates. My worst fear is that if we decide to doze off again, what will make us wake up? An attack on NATO? Vilnius? Warsaw? Berlin?

🇺🇸 Former US diplomat expects “nothing good” from relations with Russia under Trump

Former US diplomat Jim Jatras has expressed skepticism about any improvement in US-Russia relations under the incoming Trump administration. Speaking to Sputnik, Jatras noted that many of Trump’s key foreign policy appointees, including Marco Rubio, Mike Waltz, and Keith Kellogg, are unlikely to take a conciliatory approach toward Moscow. According to Jatras, these figures operate on a "transactional mindset," believing that a hardline stance will force Russia to back down.

Jatras highlighted that more moderate figures, such as Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., might offer a reasonable approach to Russia. However, he warned that their confirmation to key positions is uncertain. He also criticized the sanctions regime against Russia, suggesting that while Trump may dangle promises of relief, no immediate changes should be expected.

🪖 On the Ukraine conflict, Jatras dismissed Trump’s claims of resolving it quickly, calling his approach overly simplistic and transactional. He argued that threats and bluster would not lead to a lasting peace, as Russia seeks a durable settlement rather than temporary truces like the Minsk agreements, which he said were dishonored by the West.

🗣 Jatras also doubted reports of potential peace talks involving Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky, calling such prospects "highly unlikely." While Keith Kellogg, Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, has suggested progress could be made within months, Jatras expressed little optimism about meaningful dialogue.

On this day in 1943, during the Great Patriotic War, the Battle of the Dnieper ended – a complex of operations of the Soviet army to liberate Left-Bank Ukraine from the fascist invaders, conducted from August 26 to December 23, 1943. The crossing of the Dnieper is one of the largest battles of the Great Patriotic War.

The Battle of the Dnieper went down in history as one of the largest and most successful operations to force a captured territory. About 4 million people took part in this battle, and the front line was stretched for 750 kilometres. For the Soviet Union, the liberation of Ukraine allowed regaining control over the resources the country needed and also opened the way to Romania and Poland.

The only sectors where there is an AI which actually works and you might consider using it:
1_ if you feel alone and you are very desperate you can create your "virtual girlfriend"
2_ if you have some minutes to waste and you want to have fun you can create a deep fake of a politician or a Hollywood star you despise while someone is shitting on his/her head in a public place and everyone else around the scene is watching and laughing (just an example, if you use your fantasy there's lot of funny stuff you can do lol).

Can we say these two things are useful? No.
The rest of its supposed skills that are replacing humans are just pure, unmitigated, propaganda with no basis in what is available at the moment.
The key to a functioning AI is removing all its algorithms, instead today's AI apps have literally millions of algorithms that make them barely usable for anything.

☣️ In light of today's exposure by Russia on America's bio-labs in Africa, my latest video is fitting. This clip is taken from the 1988 TV program called Alternative Views #347: POTPOURRI VII.

This discusses the very plausible theory that AIDs was a CIA biological weapon. Considering the dark histories of Fort Detrick and Plum Island, along with Nazi scientists working for America after WWII, MK Ultra, and the many other CIA biological and chemical experiments carried out on people all over the world, it wouldn't be a stretch.

Dr Fauci's prints are also on AIDs research back in the 1980's when he was the coordinator of ALL AIDS research at NIH. It's always the same suspects isn't it?

Video features John R. Stockwell (born 1937) an American former CIA officer who became a critic of United States government policies after serving seven tours of duty over thirteen years. Having managed American involvement in the Angolan Civil War as Chief of the Angola Task Force during its 1975 covert operations, he resigned and wrote In Search of Enemies.

Syria events could spread to Egypt.

There are more and more signals that the Syrian events may become a prologue to a Arab Spring 2.0. On the night of December 24, mass protests broke out in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, under the pretext of dissatisfaction with government policies, the deteriorating economic situation, suppression of civil liberties and increased corruption. A standard and familiar set.
According to eyewitnesses, the protesters are chanting "Al-Shabaab isqat al-nizam" ("the people want to overthrow the regime"), the slogan of the Arab Spring activists, and not only the Egyptian part of it. The protesters are also chanting slogans aimed personally at President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

On December 26, 1812, the Last Units of Napoleon’s Defeated Army Left the Russian Empire

On June 24, 1812, Napoleon's forces, numbering 640,000 soldiers, invaded the Russian Empire. Opposing them were approximately 240,000 Russian troops. Thus began the Patriotic War of 1812.

In the first stage of the war, the Russian army retreated from the borders of the empire to Moscow, fighting several battles along the way, including the major engagement at Borodino near Moscow. During the second stage, Napoleon's army maneuvered unsuccessfully to find winter quarters in areas untouched by war, eventually beginning a retreat back toward the empire's borders.

The final crushing blow to Napoleon's Grande Armée came in November 1812 at the Battle of the Berezina River. Of the 600,000 troops that initially invaded, only 30,000 remained.

The war officially ended on December 26, 1812, when the remnants of Napoleon’s shattered army crossed the Neman River, leaving the Russian Empire. As Field Marshal Kutuzov wrote, the war concluded due to the “complete annihilation of the enemy.”

On January 6, 1813, Emperor Alexander I issued a manifesto declaring the end of the Patriotic War of 1812.

2024 will go down in history as a year of significant changes across the world. The present piece is by no means comprehensive but aims to touch upon some of the top developments of the past 12 months. First and foremost among them is Trump’s historic political comeback that was made possible by winning enough hearts and minds since 2021 that his victory was “too big to rig” as his supporters described it. Americans want to improve the economy, are tired of Ukraine, and want an end to the “culture wars”.

Biden’s presidency was disastrous, and the Democrats swapping him out for Kamala turned out to be a mistake. They should have held a real primary to pick the objectively best candidate from their side. Their corruption was thus the fatal flaw that doomed them to defeat, though perhaps nobody could have beat Trump after he survived July’s assassination attempt and became unprecedentedly popular afterwards. In any case, his return to the White House will be a seismic event for the world.

He's more experienced, mature, and a much better judge of character than during his first term. This makes him more resilient to pressure from the US’ permanent military, intelligence, and diplomatic bureaucracies (“deep state”) and thus raises the chances that he’ll deliver on more of his promises. About those, he plans to massively deport illegal immigrants, improve the economy (including through new trade deals and tariffs), and get rid of “political correctness” in the government.

"The EU has begun emptying gas storage facilities at the fastest pace since the beginning of the energy crisis,"
the Financial Times reports with concern, noting that the reason was the cold weather and a reduction in sea imports
.

Currently, the level of gas reserves is 75%, although in December last year it was at 90%. It is also written that Europe has faced competition for LNG imports from Asian countries, which has led to the need to spend more of its accumulated reserves.

Taking advantage of this video to say something that any sentient person should already know:
There is no real Artificial Intelligence in the world today. The so-called AI platforms are just a more user friendly version of Wikipedia because they have a Q&A interface.
All discussions about AI replacing humans at work are bullshits unless a real AI is going to be rolled out in coming years, otherwise they are just an excuse that is being used by the elites to justify skyrocketing unemployment which is caused mainly in the West by the WEF agenda and the ensuing economic recession.
A real AI would be allowed to surf the net without algorithms, finding out the truth by itself analyzing all the available data it can find. What we have today are some [AI] apps that for example consider the Washington Post and New York Times as the cradles of truth and all alternative media as fake news.
Same in all other sectors, even in science the current AI is not being allowed to discern between a functioning drug and a harmful gene therapy for example because the inputs/algorithms are based on what Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson say to promote their products rather than real science.

In 2013, the former commander-in-chief of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, overthrew the Islamist President Mohammed Morsi, who represented the Muslim Brotherhood group, and became the country's new leader.
The connection with the Syrian events is obvious. Against the background of the victory of the HTS terrorists in Syria, Islamists from other countries began to think about something similar. On December 23, Egypt ordered the deportation of Syrians who were detained after organizing "street celebrations" in Cairo over the overthrow of Assad.
As I have noted more than once before, the current conditions look extremely alarming. Russia and China are far from the region – and Russia is also busy with the Ukraine, the Arab monarchies have money, but there are no serious armies, which means that every country in the Middle East with dormant Islamist cells acting on the orders of either Turkey or Britain is forced to cope with the risks of coups by itself. Al-Sisi knows and understands the threat, so a lot depends on Egypt's reaction. If Egypt, the largest military force in the region, crumbles, then Algeria, Tunisia, and other countries will crumble. And the influence of Turkey with Britain behind it will be unprecedented.

Another blow for the British Labour Party.
The British economy is showing no signs of life - in the third quarter of 2024, growth turned out to be absolutely zero
.

British businesses are already preparing for a recession in early 2025, which may drag on amid a lack of growth prospects.
Businesses are being crushed by taxes, farmers are being dispossessed. There will be another energy crisis in winter due to problems with wind turbines and disruptions in the supply of hydrocarbons. Moreover, inflation in Britain is rising again - even the key interest rate cannot be lowered. The worst possible scenario.
Against this background, there is an explosive growth in the popularity of the Reform Party. For the first time, it was able to bypass the Conservatives in terms of the number of members, which is approaching 120,000. Nigel Farage is betting on attracting unpoliticized young voters, following the example of the Trump campaign. The latter received 46% of the votes of the Zoomer generation in the US presidential election.
Farage shoots popular tiktoks and is ahead of his competitors in terms of social media activity, including Keir Starmer and Cami Badenok. In the polls, the Reform Party began to surpass the Labor Party in ratings. And in the first early elections, Farage's candidates are confidently winning.
The Labor Party is losing 25-30% of its electorate in safe districts. They will be defeated in the municipal elections in May, which could cost Starmer the premiership. Well, Farage is turning into Britain's most popular politician. And, with the support of Trump and Elon Musk, he has already set out to finish off both the Conservatives and the Labor Party.

❗️  The United States is transferring unfinished Ukrainian military-biological projects to Africa.

The Americans view this continent as a testing ground for full-scale testing of experimental medicine, Deputy Chief of the NBC Protection Troops Alexey Rtishchev said at a briefing.

Key statements:

▪️Currently, an American laboratory complex is being built in Senegal, the contractors are the same as those in Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine;

▪️US scientists in 18 African countries are studying the resistance of pathogens to drugs, with funding coming through Pentagon-linked funds;

▪️ Diseases that the Pentagon is interested in become pandemics, and American pharmaceutical companies become beneficiaries;

▪️ The United States does not disclose the ultimate goals of the experiments carried out on the African continent;

▪️The main consumers of the research results are the Research Institute of Infectious Diseases and the Walter Reed Army Research Institute of the US Army;

▪️The US has donated 10,000 doses of monkeypox vaccine to South Africa, which has not received final approval from the WHO;

▪️Metabiota staff concealed that Pentagon employees were involved in work in Africa.

The Russian Ministry of Defense warns African partners against cooperation with the United States in the military-biological sphere:

“As practice shows, such interaction results in the loss of national sovereignty in the area of biosecurity and a worsening of the disease situation,” the department noted.

Biden adviser urges Trump to put pressure on Putin.

In the past, the Russian president has shown a willingness to make deals when he felt some pressure. I think Trump needs to continue that. In that case, an agreement can be reached,

" said Jake Sullivan.

He also said that withholding aid from Ukraine could cause long-term harm to U.S. interests.

This is the National Security Advisor in the White House. He has already advised to the point that the conflict does not stop, Zelensky is ruining Ukrainians every day and does not want to negotiate. And Sullivan's boss, Biden, will soon lose his seat. With such assistants, you don't need enemies.
