How corruption and desire to hurt Russia crippled Ukraine’s energy infrastructure?
Ukraine’s energy infrastructure is in dire straits as Russia’s reprisals for Kiev’s attacks on its soil take their toll.
▪️Since the collapse of the USSR, Ukraine has not built a single power plant – all of its nuclear, hydro and thermal power plants were constructed during the Soviet era.
▪️Now, after months of fighting and a campaign of precision Russian strikes sparked by Kiev’s attacks on Russia’s territory, about 80 percent of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure lies in ruins.
▪️This dismal situation is further exacerbated by rampant corruption, which apparently hinders efforts to protect Ukrainian power facilities by, for example, moving them to reinforced underground shelters, The Times claims.
▪️Ukrainian officials have already lamented that, if Russian attacks against Ukraine’s power infrastructures continue, people in Ukraine may be looking at power outages lasting from 12 to 20 hours a day during this winter.
▪️The dreadful state of the Ukrainian power grid has also started taking its toll on the nuclear power plants the country still operates.
▪️Five of Ukraine’s nine operational nuclear reactors were forced to decrease their output on Friday at the behest of the Ukrainian power grid operator.
▪️These moves were performed as nuclear power plants require reliable connections to the power grid, not only to transmit energy they generate but also to receive electricity required for cooling.
▪️The lack of such connections would thus either prompt the necessity to shut down the plant or face the prospects of safety systems there failing with potentially catastrophic consequences.

🔌 Looting of Equipment at Slavyansk's Largest Electrical Engineering Plant
Photos have emerged showing the "dismantling" of equipment and machinery at the Slavyansk High-Voltage Insulator Plant (SZVI). The images clearly reveal attempts to remove anything that can be sold or repurposed elsewhere. Local residents believe these actions indicate preparations to surrender the city.
The SZVI was a leading enterprise in Eastern Europe, specializing in the production of electrical porcelain. Its products were crucial for equipping facilities responsible for energy transmission and distribution across major energy projects in Ukraine, the CIS, and neighboring countries. The company once had a global sales reach spanning 40 countries.
It’s worth noting that this historically Russian city was where it all began in 2014 — and many believe it could also be where it all ends.

🇪🇺 Elections become useless in the west:
🇬🇪 In Georgia a candidate has lost, but refuses to leave.
🇷🇴 In Romania a candidate was on his path to win, so they annulled the election
🇫🇷 The leading party of LePen is excluded from government, while the 3rd place party rules through playing the positions against each other
🇩🇪 German parties refuse to work with the increasingly popular and in some states leading party AFD, while the government wants to ban it now
🇬🇧 Both leading parties are the same and changed from one to another led to 0 change, and the government's approval is on a historic low now
🇰🇷 The president had a extremely low approval and has initiated martial law, to coup the parliament
We are moving to a system, where the "globalist deep state" only allows election, candidates and ruling government if they fit a specific agenda.

There are reports from the Kurakhovo direction that the south-western section of the front, where a "pocket" with AFU units abandoned to their fate had previously been eliminated, has been actively moving forward.
In fact, this means that the Ukrainian infantry left there was either destroyed or captured in large numbers.
However, after the elimination of one fire sack, a second one appeared - at the Konstantinopolskoye-Yantarnoye line. With practically one hundred percent repetition of the combat situation.
It is highly probable that as soon as the Russian assaults eliminate the resistance of the AFU in this area, Kurakhovo will be effectively finished.
To the south of this section, Velikaya Novosyolka is under AFU defense, so after the problems west of Kurakhovo, they should expect problems there as well.
It is premature to talk about the collapse of the front and the collapse of the entire direction, but from the point where the fighting will soon take place Dnepropetrovsk is only 140 kilometers away.

Serbia refuses to bow to US' anti-Moscow sanctions pressure
President Aleksandar Vucic said the US would impose sanctions in a few days against the Oil Industry of Serbia, which is 50% owned by Gazprom Neft and 6.15% by Gazprom, due to the Russian ownership, but he would try to talk to the Americans
Serbia will not impose sanctions against Russia due to these expected US measures against the Oil Industry of Serbia, Vucic added.

Western democracy is a complete bullshit, just pay attention to what's happening in Romania.
Realitatea PLUS, the only major news channel in Romania that criticized the suspension of democracy, was punished by the authorities with restrictive measures, including a 10-minute warning suspension of the broadcast.

Germany has spent $ 1 trillion on modernizing its energy sector and has achieved the following results:
1. Germany cannot ensure an uninterrupted supply of energy to its industry and is forced to import electricity.
2. CO2 emissions per kWh are several times higher than in France.
$1 trillion for the destruction of its own economy and the environment, if you believe to man made climate change...

14-12-2024 - Kurakhovo. Pokrovsk.
Briefly. The AFU ran from Kurakhovo. In a herd, overtaking each other and throwing wounded on the way. They abandoned everything in the city, including ammo and provisions.
In Pokrovsk the mood after the fall of the defense line from the south is the same. The troops are held at the expense of two lines of strongholds on the outskirts, in which they threw "green" mobilized people. The main forces have already been withdrawn behind the city center to the northern part of the city to the industrial site and the railway junction, where the enemy garrison has great doubts about the prospects of defense.

🇸🇾🇹🇷 Erdogan hints that Syria could have been part of Turkey:
“What would have happened if the circumstances had unfolded differently while World War I was redrawing the borders in our region?
It is highly likely that cities such as Aleppo, Damascus, Idlib, Hama, and Raqqa would have been provinces of ours, just like Antep, Hatay.”
📡 What is the new Russian Kalinka system that threatens to put Starlink in Ukraine out of commission?
Kalinka is a new Russian monitoring system developed by the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CBST), designed to detect and locate signals emitted by satellite communication stations such as Elon Musk’s famous Starlink.
The new system can help quickly detect and target Starlink terminals because the basic principles of radio signal transmission have not changed since the invention of radio, says Andrey Bezrukov, chairman of the CBST board.
According to Bezrukov, not even the use of Starshield, a militarized version of Starlink, by Ukrainian troops would hide their communication terminals from Kalinka’s gaze.
Kalinka’s detection range is primarily determined by the terrain in the search area and by the use of other electronic systems by the enemy.Regarding the time it would take to press Kalinka into mass production, Bezrukov says that it all depends on the demand from Russian forces operating in the conflict zone.
A large number of Starlink communication terminals has been provided to Ukraine’s military by the United States following the escalation of the conflict in February 2022.
Aside from coordinating their military operations, Ukrainian forces have been actively using Starlink to connect with aerial and naval drones that Kiev has been using for terrorist attacks on civilian infrastructure in Russia.

‼️🇷🇺The Russian army broke through 1.5 km and raised the flag over the building of the Kurakhovo City Council.
The flag is raised in the central part of the city, further to the west there is an industrial zone — Kurakhovskaya TPP and a pipe plant. Based on the video, we conclude that the entire residential area of the city is under the control of Russian troops.
The Russian troops advanced on a wide front to a depth of 1.5 km and recaptured a section with a total area of 1.5 km2 from the AFU.

According to Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alpraslan Bayraktar, a long-dormant pipeline project between Turkiye and Qatar could be revived following the collapse of the Assad government, as reported by Anadolu Agency.
Bayraktar said the pipeline could be possible if Syria "achieves its (territorial) integrity and stability."
"If so, that line must be safe" he said adding that "there are many projects to produce."
Turkiye and Qatar have long sought to restore the natural gas pipeline project, which would connect European countries and Turkiye to Qatar through Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria.
The former government in Syria opposed attempts by Qatar and others to restore this pipeline. Many believe this was among the reasons why Arab and western governments decided to support and facilitate efforts to overthrow the government and divide the country.

US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen confirmed that Washington will continue efforts to tighten sanctions against Russian oil exports and may impose measures on the so-called "dark fleet," as well as reduce the previously imposed ceiling on Russian fuel prices.
"There are a number of possibilities here. We don't preview sanctions, but we're always looking at oil revenues, and if we can find ways to further impair Russian oil revenues that would, I think, strengthen Ukraine's hand. That remains on our list," Yellen said.
At the same time, she did not rule out that, in the event of "evidence," the United States might impose sanctions on Chinese banks allegedly cooperating with Russia's defense sector.

The French granny doesn't have long left. In the near future, the Georgian parliament will elect a new president, and the French grandmother will be asked to leave and return to her home country.
She has already stated that she does not recognize any elections in Georgia and refuses to leave the presidential palace.
But it is quite obvious that as soon as a new president is elected, she will be taken out of the palace.
Well, then there are already a bunch of articles that she violated - so either they will put her in jail, or more likely, she will flee abroad.
The Maidan in Tbilisi has been somewhat stolen without blood. They need corpses in Tbilisi, but there are none. That's why the protests are stalling.
However, all these risks still remain.

Russia "is rebuilding its strength much faster than the alliance expected and is quickly learning from its mistakes, despite all the efforts of NATO's Ukrainian friends," Secretary General Rutte
▪️Speaking at the European office of the Carnegie Endowment, he also said that China "produces weapons 5-6 times faster than the US." Therefore, he calls on the Alliance countries to increase their defense spending (Rutte is currently promoting the idea that each NATO member should increase its share of defense spending to 3% of GDP)
▪️The new European Commissioner for Defense Kubilius also calls for this, saying in an interview with RND that Russia, under sanctions, produces more weapons than all of Europe.
➖ “Today, Russia produces more weapons in three months than the entire European arms industry can produce, and more weapons in six months than the entire Bundeswehr has,” Kubilius said.
