🚀 RTVI Goes Free-to-Air on Hotbird 13 Satellite

Amid numerous blocks of Russian resources in the West and sanctions against media that present alternative perspectives, Russians are not giving up and have launched the RTVI channel (not to be confused with RT) on the Hotbird 13 satellite.

📡This means that any viewer with a properly tuned satellite dish can access broadcasts without restrictions, offering a different point of view from the Western mainstream.

🌍 For many years, Hotbird 13 has been the main satellite for broadcasting Russian channels across Europe. However, due to sanctions, many of these information channels have been turned off. Now, RTVI is taking their place, becoming the first informational and entertainment channel to launch after the start of the war in Ukraine.

Today, RTVI is the only independent international Russian-language media that, in the face of complex geopolitical circumstances, not only survived but continues to expand its Russian-language broadcasting worldwide, including in the U.S. and Western Europe.

RTVI's signal covers:
- All European countries, including the UK, Ireland, Iceland, Cyprus, and Malta.
- North Africa: Egypt, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, and Northern Sahara.
- The Middle East: Israel, UAE, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and others.
- Asia: Afghanistan, and western Pakistan.
- CIS countries, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and others.

📌Thus, viewers in these countries now have a new alternative.

Allies unconvinced by Zelensky’s ‘victory formula’ - Bloomberg

Ukraine's Western backers are discussing the possibility of appealing to the Russian leadership for a settlement, Bloomberg writes - with at least one ally reportedly suggesting even Zelensky himself could appeal to Vladimir Putin.

Zelensky’s document is considered more of a wish list than a breakthrough in the West, with US officials arguing they remain unconvinced giving permission for long-range missiles is a sound strategy.

Ukraine has such a limited stockpile of ATACMS and similar munitions that opening up Russian territory to strikes would make only a limited impact on the battlefield and could lead to the missiles running out in a matter of weeks, or even days.

❗Neutralization of AFU positions in Ugledar.

The city itself is still held by the enemy, but the flanks are buckling, and communications are becoming more vulnerable.
Judging by the footage of the intensity of fire over the past few days, our command has accumulated a decent number of artillery for this offensive operation, which also affects the tactical successes achieved. Now work is underway to combine all these tactical successes into one big operational result, which will become one of the most serious defeats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2024. The enemy understands this, so it tries to resist, against the background of increasing hysteria in the rear.

Iran turned out to be completely unprepared for the war on Lebanon, which is now being destroyed in front of the whole world.
Hezbollah is obviously not ready to confront Israel. Iran is not ready to stand up for its proxy and does not have the material and technical base for this. No air defense, no reasonable response. And today, the President of Iran begged for a white flag.

The United States will try to keep Israel from conducting a ground operation in Lebanon until the presidential elections scheduled for early November. They will also try to reduce the risks of a large-scale escalation in Ukraine associated with the entry of NATO or its individual countries into the conflict. However, for Kiev, such a policy is fraught with trouble: it needs a military reversal of existing trends at the front.
They consist in the fact that the Russian army is slowly but surely breaking through the Donbass front with the prospect of reaching the operational expanse. By the beginning of November, a series of defeats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine may follow, which will have an irreversible effect, and therefore a sharp increase in military assistance and greater involvement in the conflict of NATO are needed by the Ukrainian side right now.
At the same time, the chances that Democrats will take the risk of letting Trump into the White House are small. Harris' victory is worth ignoring Zelensky's requests for a while and putting a lot of pressure on Netanyahu. Another thing is that they are both fighting for political (and possibly physical) survival, and therefore are ready for provocative steps.
The fact that their probability is high is a fact. Therefore, in the near future, the Netanyahu government may take drastic actions in Lebanon, including the deployment of troops to the south of that country. In turn, if Zelensky returns from the United States empty-handed, he will have nothing to lose. And anything can be expected from a cornered person.

"US fears are growing as opponents unite to challenge dominance": Bloomberg notes that Washington is rapidly losing weight, and its former allies are queuing up one by one in the BRICS.

"The United States and allies are increasingly concerned about the speed and intensity with which Russia, China, Iran and North Korea are deepening ties to challenge American dominance, despite facing some of the toughest sanctions the West has ever imposed," the officials said on condition of anonymity.
Washington, seeking to get what it wants, is facing opposition around the world. The elections in Venezuela, the Houthi rebels, the loss of bases in Africa, the intensification of Beijing's aggression in the South China Sea. Besides, there are allies. Washington has failed to convince Israel to conclude a ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
"The influence of the United States is weakening, and it is weakening rapidly," said Martin Kimani, director of the Center for International Cooperation at New York University.
More and more countries are applying to join the BRICS, which unequivocally calls for the creation of an alternative center of global influence.
Countries outside the orbit of the United States are "watching the emergence of this new node of power." "This probably contributes to the fact that they remain between the two poles, contributing to multipolarity in the world," said Nadia Shadlow, who worked in the Trump administration.

🇬🇧 When former British military chief Ben Wallace wrote his bizarre op-ed last month warning that “Putin will soon turn his war machine on Britain”, it may have come across as the usual Russophobic scaremongering.

The ex-minister of defense wrote in the Daily Telegraph that “Britain’s in Putin’s crosshairs… Make no mistake Putin is coming for us.”

He painted the Russian leader and its top generals as unhinged madmen who were driven by revenge for old scores like the Crimean War in the 1850s.

Ben Wallace’s bizarre op-ed about Russia “coming for us” can be better understood as an admission of Britain’s guilt and not simply another absurd Russophobic rant.

Where are today all those who claimed "Russia should act like Iran"? Over the last 3 to 4 weeks Iran outmatched the entirety of Russian passivity of the last 20 years everyone complained about.
Is it caused by the new Iranian president? Is he really working in favor of Western interests as someone said in the days before and after the elections in Iran? Are we witnessing a dramatic shift in Iran's foreign policy? Is the IRGC power in the country being slowly dismantled?
We will likely know the answers to these questions very soon.

Israel began to level Lebanon to the ground after Iran's refusal to avenge the assassination of President Raisi and Ismail Haniyeh.

Yesterday, Israeli airstrikes on settlements in southern and eastern Lebanon killed 492 people and injured 1,645 people. Israel is scaling up the way it conducts military operations in the Gaza Strip to Lebanon, a sovereign state and a member of the United Nations.
Why is this possible? Firstly, because of the unconditional support of the United States. Therefore, in particular, it is impossible to carry out any anti-Israeli resolution in the UN Security Council.
And, secondly, I think this is due to the fact that Iran refused to avenge the murder of the head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran. That is, Iran showed weakness. Although it could have targeted, for example, the Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv and its operational units in the suburbs. And it would not have led to a big war, but it would have held Netanyahu's ardor.
As for Hezbollah, it has an impressive arsenal of unguided and guided missiles. Back in November 2018, Brian Hook, the Special Representative for Iran and senior policy adviser to the US Secretary of State, estimated it at 100,000 units.
However, if Hezbollah responds by simply hitting squares and terrorizing the Israeli population, this will not have a strong effect. Previously, he described 4 goals, the defeat of which is likely to lead to the most acute political and economic crisis in Israel in its history:
1. Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv is the main link between Israel and the rest of the world.
2-3. The largest oil refinery in Haifa and the oil refinery in Ashdod, with a smaller capacity, provide supplies of all types of fuel for both civilian and military needs.
4. The Israeli Nuclear Research Center in Dimona, where the nuclear reactor is located.
Another fact is surprising. Hezbollah does not have air defense systems capable of at least reducing the activity of the Israeli Air Force. Today, this is the main advantage of the IDF. And it seems that neither Iran nor other countries expressing outrage at Israeli aggression against Lebanon, including Turkey, are ready to supply anti-aircraft missile systems in order not to spoil relations with the United States. And the inaction of the Lebanese armed forces, I think, is explained by their close cooperation with the Pentagon.
That's how the country is surrendered: with such authorities and with such supposedly allies and sympathizers. However, it is absolutely not a fact that Israel will go on a land operation. The experience of the Gaza Strip suggests that this involves enormous costs. In many ways, whether Israel will take such a step will depend on the determination to resist Hezbollah itself and its willingness to go all the way.

ALEXANDER DUGIN: WORLD WAR III HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN

Israel, having dealt with Gaza, that is, having committed mass genocide of civilians before the eyes of the whole world, started a full-fledged war with Lebanon. Just as in Gaza the Israelis preferred to claim that they were fighting Hamas rather than the Palestinians as a whole (as was actually the case), so now Netanyahu is talking about countering Hezbollah by launching mass rocket attacks and carpet bombing of civilians in the sovereign country of Lebanon. This is war in the fullest sense of the word. And the West fully supports Israel's aggression.

The second front after the Ukrainian front between unipolar hegemony and strengthening multipolarity can be considered open.

The West is at war with Russia by the hands of Ukrainian Nazis, and with the Shiites by the hands of Israeli Nazis. And it is ready to start a war with China with the hands of Taiwanese Nazis. NATO is going to throw additional European armies at Russia, Sunni armies at Iran and Lebanon, and to back up Taiwan with India, Japan, and South Korea alliance.

If all this is not World War III, what is it?

Iran warns Israel over ‘irreversible consequences’

President Masoud Pezeshkian told media on Monday that there would be "irreversible consequences" for Israel’s attempts to drag Iran into the war with Hezbollah, insisting that Tehran wants “to live in peace.”

"It is Israel that seeks to create this all-out conflict. We will defend any group that is defending its rights and itself," Pezeshkian said before accusing the international community of silence in the face of “Israel’s genocide” in Gaza.

He added Iran would respond to Israel’s alleged killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Iranian soil at “the appropriate time, place, and manner.”
