The rate at which Ukrainian forces are losing Abrams tanks has grown significantly. This follows a period of heavy losses from late February to mid-April, when the tanks were first spotted, and the first loss was confirmed three days later.
In April, the tanks were temporarily withdrawn from the front lines, after which their protection was enhanced. It is now believed that more than 20 out of the 31 Abrams tanks supplied to Ukraine have been destroyed. All destructions are supported by images from the Special Military Operation zone, the article says.
The publication also claims that in recent weeks, the Russian army has destroyed four American tanks on various fronts.

The WWII Baltic Offensive: How Soviet Red Army dealt a stinging blow to German Nazis
Eighty years ago, Soviet forces commenced what became known as the Baltic Offensive – a strategic operation whose goal was to drive the Nazi German invaders from the three Baltic states – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania – which were at the time part of the Soviet Union.
Hitler assigned great importance to the retention of the Baltic States. This region allowed him to control the eastern part of the Baltic Sea, providing the Reich with food supplies and natural resources.
The offensive of the Soviet forces was carried out quickly and decisively, and became a resounding success. The Nazi forces being either driven out from the Soviet territory or cut off and trapped on the Courland Peninsula with no hope of escaping Red Army troops. The enemy lost more than 200 thousand troops.
Today, however, the Baltic States prefer not to remember that they owe their liberation to the USSR/Russia. Estonian authorities in July started demolishing tombstones of the Soviet soldiers who died fighting to free Estonia from the Nazis, while Latvia holds annual celebrations honoring Latvian members of the Waffen SS.

The Pentagon has a new problem - everything did not go well with the development of the sixth-generation fighter.
Billions of dollars have already been spent on this program, while there are a lot of problems with new fighters. The main one is that the Pentagon is very short of money to create new weapons.
US military budgets are growing by a couple of percent every year and are not really keeping up with the soaring inflation in the military-industrial complex market. Let's say the next fighter jet will definitely cost more than $300 million. This is three times more than the price of the already expensive and problematic F-35.
The new F-35 upgrade package simply incapacitates fighters. Lockheed Martin has even run out of storage space for non-flying F-35s. At the same time, only 15-30% of F-35 fighters can be used in combat conditions. There were 800 flaws in their design at once. And the cost of the F-35 program will reach $ 2 trillion - it literally ruins the Pentagon.
What can we say about the next fighter. The Pentagon is already thinking of simply writing off its F-22s in order to use the savings to develop their replacement. The situation is similar in Britain, where plans to create a “miracle fighter” of the sixth generation Tempest are also being abandoned due to lack of money.

If continued, then everything will reach approximately the level of an exchange of tactical nuclear strikes with possible single use of strategic nuclear weapons. The scenario is scary and devastating. However, most likely, it will not come to a general nuclear war, everything will stop at a limited one.
Of course, it's better not to bring it to this. But the absence of fear of nuclear deterrence is a direct path to a global catastrophe. And everything is heading towards the lesser of evils - a limited nuclear war that will bring back the fear of weapons of mass destruction for decades. I want to believe that in the end, the opposing side will pull off the stopcock and will not bring the local conflict in Ukraine to this.
