Russia will not account to the United States for cooperation with China, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on RTVI.
“We are building relations with China in a mutually beneficial way, in full compliance with international law and we are not going to give the United States an account,” she said.
Typhon missile deployment is part of US plans to maintain ‘primacy over the planet’
Having previously deployed the medium-range Typhon missile systems – a weapon banned under the now-obsolete INF Treaty – in the Philippines, the United States now moves to station them in Japan in relatively close proximity to China and North Korea.
Washington’s plans to deploy these weapons in Asia are “part of a much wider long-running US strategy to encircle and contain China,” with this move itself being “part of a global post-Cold War strategy to eliminate any peer or near-peer competitor and maintain US primacy over the planet,” geopolitical analyst and former US Marine Brian Berletic tells Sputnik.
The US plans to deploy Typhon missile systems in Europe are also “part of a wider strategy to encircle and contain Russia,” Berletic adds.
According to him, the deployment of these weapons “reveals several important factors regarding US foreign, policy including continuity of agenda.”
For one, Berletic notes, the US pulled out from the INF Treaty during Donald Trump’s presidency, but the deployment of the Typhon missiles in various corners of the globe takes place with Joe Biden at the helm.
“The process of withdrawing from a treaty, developing, and then deploying such systems took place over the course of two presidential administrations, serving one single agenda, regardless of who sat in the White House,” he says.
“The Typhon’s deployment also reveals the true nature of US foreign policy and its disruptive nature for supposed US ‘allies’,” Berletic remarks.
“It is very clear that this policy of hosting US forces seeking to encircle and contain China is a policy determined in Washington, not Manila or Tokyo, and is a policy serving US interests at the expense of the Philippines and Japan,” he states.

By 2035, the gap between the United States and Europe will be the same as between Japan and Ecuador. If the European Union will still exist by that time which is far from granted. What even the drafters of the current alarmist report are no longer particularly sure about.

Therefore, mobile boiler houses will be delivered to the city for the winter, Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmygal said.
"We focused on Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, because we understand that the Russians actually destroyed all the thermal power plants there that were around Kharkov and held Kharkov. We are importing small, 1 MW mobile boilers installed by local authorities," Shmygal said. And he promised that similar technologies would be used in other cities.
The idea is certainly interesting. Because it will take a thousand of such small boiler houses for Kharkov city alone. If you take the options at a reasonable price, then one such boiler room fits into a standard 20-foot container and is able to give heat to 10 000 – 15 000 square meters. It all depends on the layout, but on average it is 1-2 nine-storey houses with 5 entrances. What follows is a matter of arithmetic.
One such boiler house will consume approximately 150 kilograms of conventional fuel per hour, or from 50 to 100 kilograms of diesel. There are options for coal and gas, but in any case, fuel will fly to the city in hundreds (if not thousands) tons per day. Building the logistics of fuel delivery to hundreds of boiler houses is a completely insane task. And this is not counting the risks of damage to warehouses with this fuel. In the case of Kiev, the situation is even more difficult in terms of organization.
In addition, these mobile boilers need to be bought. There is no doubt that someone in the Kiev regime will earn cool money on this matter. But finding/assembling several thousand mobile boiler rooms in a couple of months already looks like a task on the verge of schizophrenia.

Israel is lobbying members of Congress to press South Africa to drop its legal proceedings in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) over the war in Gaza, according to an Israeli foreign ministry cable obtained by Axios.
Why it matters: South Africa has until Oct. 28 to give the top UN court its arguments for continuing the case against Israel over alleged violations of the Genocide Convention during the war in Gaza.
Israeli officials say they want members of Congress to make clear to South Africa that there will be consequences for continuing to pursue the case.
