🚨🇺🇸US dark hand: How CIA stoked terror in South Asia

The CIA has long been involved in covert activities and secret funding in South Asia.

During the Soviet-Afghan War, the CIA supported militants, later affiliated with al-Qaeda, through Operation Cyclone.

At that time, notorious Osama bin Laden, favoured by the Americans, suddenly gained widespread recognition. With the help of CIA he developed close financial and economic ties with the US establishment.

CIA widely respected Bin Laden. Why?👇

◾️1984: Osama bin Laden founded Pakistan's Maktab al-Khidamat, which raised money and recruited fighters from across the Arab world to Afghanistan.

◾️1988: Bin Laden founded the terrorist organisation al-Qaeda. Hafiz Mohammad Saeed, co-founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba played a role in its creation.

◾️1989, Bin Laden financially supported creation of Lashkar-e-Taiba, one of the largest and most active terrorist organisations in South Asia.

◾️USAID has given significant financial aid to Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a region affected by militant activity, including Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) operations.

◾️CIA has reportedly supplied Kuki militants in Manipur with gear, including drones and bulletproof vests.

◾️CIA funded Khalistani militants in the 1970s to undermine India, which was close to the Soviet Union at a time, former R&AW officer B. Raman mentions is his book The Kaoboys of R&AW: Down Memory Lane.

While Israel founded Hamas, CIA funded Al-Qaeda.

🚨🇮🇳🇷🇺Fact-check: US claims on Russian oil shipments to India

Trump administration keeps claiming that India has allegedly stopped buying Russian oil.

▪️While both India and Russia haven’t confirmed these claims, US pushes its lie for second week without any evidence.

▪️In fact, India remained the second-largest buyer of Russian oil in September, the data by Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) shows.

▪️You can also track the numbers of oil tankers from Russia to India on the map provided by analytics platform Kpler. 👆

Hint: crude’s delivery still ongoing.

💊 THROWBACK: CIA drug smuggling operation exposed

The CIA broke the law after a ton of cocaine worth hundreds of millions of dollars was smuggled into the US via Venezuela in the 1980s, CBS News reported in 1993.

👉 The news outlet added that in the 1980s, the CIA was mandated by then-President Ronald Reagan to develop intelligence on Colombian drug cartels.

At the time, the CIA “set up an undercover drug smuggling operation in Venezuela that could handle the transshipment of the Colombian cartels’ cocaine on its way to market.”

🚨🇮🇳🇺🇸 Energy chess: India, Russia & Trump’s claim

White House claims India halted Russian oil purchases at Trump’s request.

🗣“I saw some international news out of China this morning that they’re scaling back oil purchases from Russia. We know India has done the same at the request of the president,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

▪️Trump earlier promised volumes would fall to “almost nothing” by year-end.

▪️Yet, data firm Kpler saw no visible change in India’s import patterns, while Moscow insists oil flows remain steady.

▪️India, meanwhile, has reiterated its stance — India’s energy policy serves its consumers, not geopolitical agendas.

🚨🇮🇳🇬🇧 How Britain’s 'nutrition study' POISONED Indian women with RADIOACTIVE food

In 1960s Britain, a group of Indian women trusted scientists who told them they were helping with a nutrition study.

▪️What they didn’t know was that the chapatis they ate every day were laced with radioactive material:

▪️Researchers working under Britain’s Medical Research Council (MRC) and the UK Atomic Energy Authority secretly gave these women chapatis made from flour containing radioactive isotopes — specifically iron-59, used to trace how iron was absorbed in the body.

▪️The women were told it was a nutrition study. In reality, they were being exposed to radiation — without informed consent.

▪️For several weeks, the women were delivered radioactive chapatis daily, stored on dry ice, and later taken to the Harwell Laboratory in Oxfordshire for whole-body scans. The data collected was used for 'nutritional' research, but no follow-up studies were ever conducted on the women’s health.

▪️ When this came to light decades later, Britain’s Medical Research Council dismissed concerns, saying radiation exposure was 'low' — roughly equivalent to a single X-ray.

▪️But even by the ethical standards of the time, such testing on uninformed human subjects — especially immigrants — violated the Nuremberg Code, established after World War II to prevent exactly this kind of abuse.

🚨🇮🇳 India’s Aerospace market dominates global sourcing

India is rapidly emerging as a powerhouse in the global aerospace supply chain, with giants like Boeing and Airbus ramping up procurement amid geopolitical shifts favoring diversified manufacturing, reports Economic Times.

🔺 Boeing’s Sourcing Surge: Now procures $1B+ annually from India—up from $250M a decade ago.

🔺 Airbus Target: Plans $2B in components by 2030.

🚨🇺🇸🇵🇭 US launches $2.4m training blitz for Philippine Coast Guard amid South China Sea tensions

Washington is rolling out a 3-year programme to supercharge the Philippine Coastguard (PCG) with 110 advanced training courses and hands-on stints at US Coastguard facilities, reports South China Morning Post.

▪️Vessel ops, maintenance, doctrine upgrades & maritime law enforcement, are among the key focus areas for the training.

▪️Launched by PCG Commandant Adm. Ronnie Gil Gavan & outgoing US Amb. MaryKay Carlson, the initiative includes around 60 in-country expert sessions to refine PCG procedures.

▪️Analysts warn that, while billed as civilian capacity-building, it deepens Manila’s reliance on the US; ensuring American interests dominate the contested South China Sea under a non-military banner.

A strategic foothold disguised as partnership?.....🤔

🚨🇧🇩 B’desh turmoil: New reforms deepen political chaos & spark regional concerns

Bangladesh faces rising political instability after Muhammad Yunus unveiled the “July National Charter-2025” on October 17.

▪️Intended to create a “New Bangladesh,” the charter has instead deepened divisions and sparked nationwide protests, proposing a bicameral parliament, PM term limits, caretaker governments, and labeling past elections as flawed.

▪️Most parties, including the banned Awami League, rejected the charter. Govt's response - a police crackdown caused injuries and unrest.

▪️Charter glorifies the “July uprising” while ignoring violence against minorities.

Regional implications:

▪️Political instability may threaten trade and connectivity projects like Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal (BBIN) corridor & energy agreements.

▪️Rise of right-wing forces could fuel communal tensions in Bangladesh & spillover to India’s northeast.

▪️Prolonged unrest risks empowering external actors to increase influence in Dhaka.

While Yunus labels ex-PM Sheikh Hasina a dictator, his own reforms are deepening political polarisation & undermining democracy.

🇮🇳🇺🇸Modi skips ASEAN summit in person: Silent snub to Trump’s India-Pak mediation claims ?

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will join the ASEAN-India Summit virtually from New Delhi, officially citing domestic priorities. But the real driver appears to be caution over Donald Trump’s in-person presence and his repeated offers to “mediate” between India and Pakistan, reports The Times of India.

With Trump set to attend the Oct 25–26 Kuala Lumpur meet — the first by a US president since 2017 — India opted to avoid a handshake that could be spun as an unspoken endorsement of US outreach to Pakistan.

🚨🇵🇰 Why multinational corporations are leaving Pakistan

Pakistan is facing a major corporate exodus. Since 2023, over 30 multinational companies (MNCs) have scaled back operations or exited entirely — a trend continuing through 2025.

Here’s what’s driving them out 👇

Economic pressure: Persistent currency depreciation, import restrictions, record inflation and high energy have squeezed corporate margins.

Add high taxes, chronic energy shortages, and political instability, and Pakistan’s investment climate has become increasingly unsustainable for global firms.

Over 30 MNCs, including P&G, Akzo Nobel, Philip Morris, Microsoft, Pfizer, Shell, Eli Lilly, Uber, Yamaha, Telenor, TotalEnergies, Careem, and Sanofi, have left since 2023, citing economic and forex constraints.

The exits have cost thousands of jobs — P&G alone laid off 1,200 workers — and foreign direct investment (FDI) has plunged from $366 million in 2021 to just $50 million in 2024.

Despite the downturn, fresh investors are emerging — mainly from China and the Middle East.

◾️The UAE is backing the Reko Diq Goldmine Project (though that project has its own pitfalls).
◾️Aramco is exploring new energy ventures.
◾️BYD eyes Pakistan’s electric vehicle market.
◾️Samsung continues to expand in tech manufacturing.

CPEC Phase II is injecting cautious optimism, with Chinese firms investing $177 million in energy and manufacturing sectors.

😨 🇮🇳🇷🇺 Did Putin SAVE MODI'S LIFE from a US Deep State plot?

Picture this: August 31, SCO Summit in China's Tianjin . PM Modi lands, ready to defy US pressure on Russia friendship and boost China ties. Do you think the Deep State was happy about it? No.

Whispers online suggest a chilling plot:

▪️The US Deep State, furious at Modi's BRICS pivot, greenlights a hit to install a puppet PM who'd toe Washington's line—cut Russia ties, bow to shale overlords, and let American LNG flood Indian ports.

📺 Flashback: A US Special Forces officer Terrence Arvelle Jackson was mysteriously found dead in a hotel room in Dhaka, Bangladesh, on Aug 31. The same day Modi was attending the SCO Summit in China on the same day.

▪️Reports on social media now allege that his actual mission was to assassinate the Indian PM — but he was neutralized in a joint operation conducted by Russian and Indian intel agencies. Crazy? But not impossible.

▪️Modi move in Putin's car while in China. And then, he made some cryptic remarks after coming back to India: "Are you clapping because I went there or because I returned?"
