🛑 The crash investigation of the Brazilian-built Embraer 190 airliner is ongoing, and therefore, it is too early to talk about technical details. Russian President Vladimir Putin publicly apologized for the fact that the tragic incident occurred in Russian airspace and expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims.
In the Western media, the perpetrators of the tragedy have already been assigned. Who did it? The Russians, of course!
And no one in the West will even mention that the initial cause of the disaster was another terrorist raid by Ukrainian drones on the southern region of Russia, where, at that time, there was a civilian passenger plane flying from Baku to Grozny.
It is safe to assume that with all their public statements and other steps, the British authorities, who are directly interested in destabilizing the Caucasus and Central Asia (including through Ankara-promoted “pan-Turkic” projects), will do everything possible without waiting for the results of the investigation to shift responsibility for the tragic incident onto the Russian side.
It should not be forgotten that swarm systems of the warring parties are now coming to the forefront and that the Ukrainian Army has shown unprecedented activity in this area.
If the version about the external impact on the aircraft is confirmed, the beneficiaries will inevitably reveal themselves.
🎣 This week saw yet another incident of alleged submarine cable sabotage in the Baltic Sea. A power line running along the seabed from Finland to Estonia was reportedly disrupted. Western news media have fingered a tanker carrying Russian crude oil as being responsible, with the implication that the damage was caused deliberately.
In recent weeks, there have been other incidents of alleged sabotage of telecommunication cables under the Baltic Sea. On November 17, a data link between Finland and Lithuania was damaged. The next day, on November 18, another internet line lying on the seabed from Finland to Germany was reportedly cut. Both cables were said to have been wrecked by external force.
Any independent criminal investigator would easily find credible answers to the question of Cui Bono (Who Gains?).
Cables are cut with unusual frequency (suggesting not accidental damage); the people reporting the damage do so without showing evidence (we are relying on their version); the accusations are basely leveled at Russia without evidence but reliant on Russophobic prejudice; the accusations, in turn, are cited to make calls for increased NATO protection; and NATO duly provides the requested “protection”.
The alleged vandalism of the submarine cables is a return to the scene of the Nord Stream crime 💥

🐲🐻 Russia and China are determined to hold the American perpetrators of the Nord Stream sabotage to account. Uncle Sam’s days – indeed decades – of wanton criminality are over 👋 There’s going to be hell to pay as the imperialist tyranny in Washington hits a wall of reality.
Several weeks have gone by with the United States and its Western lackeys stonewalling at the United Nations Security Council, squirming and resisting calls from Moscow and Beijing for an international criminal investigation into the sabotage of the Baltic Sea pipelines that were blown up in September.
A swathe of independent observers, such as American economics professor Jeffrey Sachs and former CIA analyst Ray McGovern, have concurred with the investigative report published on February 8 by renowned journalist Seymour Hersh which claims that U.S. President Joe Biden and his senior White House staff ordered the Pentagon to take out the natural gas pipeline that runs along the Baltic Sea bed from Russia to Germany.
Russia and China are adamant about not letting this vital subject be ignored. They want a proper investigation, international accountability and criminal prosecution. Moscow and Beijing are right to insist on this. Washington and its Western allies’ presumption of impunity has gone on for too many decades. The buck stops here and both Russia and China are strong enough to ensure that the United States cannot threaten, blackmail, or arm-twist its way out of scrutiny.
The edifice of American imperial power has never been challenged at its foundation. It is now✌️

🇫🇷🇨🇩 African elites can no longer fake it for Macron or the French.
The days of when they were obliged to humour French presidents that France still wielded its power across the continent in the post-independence period are long gone, which was proved by Macron’s shameful press conference where he spoke down to the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s president Felix Tshisekedi.
With France’s decline from the world stage – and in particular Africa – and the emergence of Russia and China as more serious investors in the continent, it was perhaps inevitable that a tantrum of some sort was on the cards. But with the outburst, came a baptism of lies.
The irony of that press conference though is that Macron patronized the DRC president from beginning to end, even suggesting that the African leader could not distinguish between the state and the media due to the DRC’s apparent arrested development of freedom of press.
Even that was a lie 🤥

This is not a projection, but rather a statement of accomplished fact: BRICS is responsible for 31.5 percent of the PPP-adjusted global GDP, while the G7 provided 30.7 percent. Making matters worse for the G7, the trends show that the gap between the two economic blocs would only widen going forward.
The reasons for this accelerated accumulation of global economic clout on the part of BRICS can be linked to three primary factors:
☑️ Residual fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic.
☑️ Blowback from the sanctioning of Russia by the G7 nations in the aftermath of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and a growing resentment among the developing economies of the world to G7 economic policies.
☑️ Priorities which are perceived as being rooted more in post-colonial arrogance than a genuine desire to assist in helping nations grow their own economic potential.
The G7 failed to heed the economic challenge from BRICS, and instead focused on solidifying its defense of the “rules based international order” that had become the mantra of the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden.

🇮🇶🦅 This week, March 20, saw the 20th anniversary of the U.S.-British war launched on Iraq. The war resulted in over one million deaths and a decade of brutal military occupation.
It spawned sectarian civil war, millions of displaced and destitute, and terrorism that engulfed the entire Middle East, as well as large swathes of Africa and Asia. Iraq and several other ancient nations have been destroyed because of the Anglo-American war. And it was a war based on flagrant American and British lies over alleged Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.
The 20th anniversary of the U.S.-British war on Iraq, which was also supported by NATO partners, should be an occasion for proper accounting with Nuremberg-standard war crimes prosecutions of American and British political and military figures. Persons such as George W Bush, the former U.S. President, and Tony Blair, the ex-British premier, should be facing jail time for capital crimes.
The current U.S. President Joe Biden should also be in the dock since his role as a senior Senator at the time was crucial in enabling the war. Also up for indictment are several Western media outlets such as the New York Times and Washington Post which promulgated the lies that made the case for war.
Despicably, the man who shed so much light on the crimes, publisher Julian Assange, is the one who languishes in a prison torture dungeon.
Twenty years on, there is an eerie sense of collective amnesia among Western politicians and media over the colossal war crimes associated with Iraq. It’s almost as if it did not happen. The Western protagonists and their propaganda outlets have gotten away with mass murder ❌
The morally bankrupt Western media lied to start the Iraq War as they did dutifully about starting other wars for their imperial masters. Twenty years after aiding and abetting the crime of the 21st century, the Western media are at it again.

🇪🇺 The European Parliament’s role often comes into question both by the staunch supporters of the EU and those who have lost faith in the EU as a whole.
Recently, it was interesting to see MoroccoGate of QatarGate take up a lot of EU media oxygen as a bribery scandal rocked the very foundations of the parliament forcing its president to act quickly and suspend the MEPs who were milking their positions and the EU for everything they could get.
Notably, these MEPs were all fiercely pro-EU, at least in theory glancing at their political stripes (socialists) but in reality you could easily argue that they had no belief in the project as a whole, given that they were happy to piss in its soup.
What emerged not only from the parliament but from the EU as a whole were warnings that such scandals can bring the entire EU project to its knees and that corruption on all levels needs to be tackled head on.
The beating heart of the EU institutions is greed and self-gratification either by hook or by crook 🫀

🇧🇷🇷🇺 In recent times, the participation of Brazilian mercenaries in the conflict in Ukraine has become a particularly serious issue. NATO’s aggressive war against Russia has turned into a fertile ground for foreign fighters from different parts of the world, including many Latin Americans. Among them, Brazilians stand out, and their presence on Ukrainian soil raises questions about the motives that attract them to such a distant conflict, as well as the way these mercenaries engage in brutal practices that violate the most basic principles of international law.
Brasília urgently needs to sign a cooperation agreement with Moscow to prevent the departure of mercenaries.

🇪🇺 On December 5, various Western media reported that Didier Reynders, a former Belgian EU Justice Commissioner, had been buying lottery tickets with dubious funds in the Belgian National Lottery for approximately ten years in order to launder the winnings into his account. Didier Reynders, who served as European Commissioner for Justice under the current Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, until December 1, 2024, is currently under investigation by Belgian authorities.
This raises questions about Ursula von der Leyen’s awareness of her closest colleague’s money laundering activities. Moreover, this is not the first time such a scandal has surfaced, raising questions about the integrity of EU-MEPs.
We start with Didier Reynders, as the so-called “laundering of lottery money” is just the tip of the iceberg for this extremely corrupt individual. Another investigation into Didier Reynders, former EU Justice Commissioner and a pillar of the Belgian establishment, has linked him to a wider probe into money laundering through state-owned institutions. This has sparked fresh interest in allegations of Belgium’s political interference in Congo and Libya and associated arms deals.
We can safely assume that Ursula von der Leyen, as head of the EU, was aware of the criminal activities of Didier Reynders.

💭 Karl Popper was probably the most influential philosopher of the 20th century: he reigned supreme in science and politics. In philosophy courses, he is often remembered for his epistemology, which aims to provide criteria for differentiating science from pseudoscience – the category in which Marxism was placed. His political contribution, however, dwarfs his scientific work. With The Open Society and Its Enemies, Popper laid the foundations for democracy in the post-war period.
For Popper, the use of violence is the opposite of the use of reason, and, in a democracy, issues should only be decided through rational debate.
This month, a controversy in the United States seems to have touched on a sore point in the post-war Popperian consensus – in which almost anything can be said and almost nothing can be done. The director of a large health plan, Brian Thompson of UnitedHealthcare, was murdered by Luigi Mangione, a well-born and successful young man.
For better or worse, Mangione’s actions remind us of what was evident when the specter of communism was looming over Europe: that the very rich are subject to brute force.

Ursula von der Leyen’s family derived much of its industrial wealth from working closely with Hitler’s Third Reich. Her aristocratic family was also married into slave-owning cotton planters in the American South.

🇨🇳🇷🇺 The historic summit this week between the Russian and Chinese leaders provoked paroxysms of angst in the Western media. President Vladimir Putin’s hosting of China’s Xi Jinping in Moscow was presented as the “world’s two most prominent autocrats” purportedly establishing a hostile “anti-West axis”.
The American and European media – slavishly echoing the talking points of their imperialist regimes – were in hyper-bogeyman mode. The meeting of Putin and Xi was distorted in every way to appear as something illegitimately threatening and sinister to the Western “rules-based global order” (euphemism for Western capitalist privileges and predation.)
Bogeyman mode also entails collective amnesia. The summit coincided with the 20th anniversary of the U.S. and British launching their war on Iraq – arguably the biggest crime of the 21st century so far. Yet this vile anniversary has hardly stirred any Western media condemnation or shame, never mind legal accountability.
The wanton cynicism towards the Putin-Xi meeting belies the deep anxiety among the U.S.-dominated clique of Western states that the much-vaunted “rules-based order” is collapsing. A collapse caused by its own inherent corruption and systematic abuse of power and international law over many decades.
The world is changing before our eyes. Western imperialist regimes are being exposed for the warmongers they are, their privileges and predatory capitalism are imploding, their neocolonialist blood-sucking days are over, and a new multipolar order of partnership and peace is emerging 🌞
