An investigation by The Grayzone has revealed that Iran’s June 13 missile strike on Tel Aviv directly hit a secret underground military command center jointly operated by Israel and the United States, buried beneath a luxury apartment complex in the heart of the city.

This strike was subject to extreme censorship inside Israel, and even a Fox News reporter was barred from moving towards the area. Google has also censored the area by blurring it and removing the Street View feature.

'Site 81' is located among densely populated residential neighborhoods, and it's even close to a children's playground.

The area is also very close to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office in Tel Aviv, which prompted the Israeli government to empty the building and start 'renovations.'

🇮🇷🇮🇱| NEW: Iranian missiles struck a secret highly-secured underground US-Israeli military base during the 12-day war

A Grayzone investigation revealed that on June 13, Iranian missile struck northern Tel Aviv, hitting a secret underground US-Israeli military base (known as Site 81) hidden beneath the Da Vinci Towers.

The base, ran jointly by US and Israeli intelligence, serves as a command-and-control center connected to Israel’s main military HQ, the Kirya (“Fortress of Zion”). Its exact location was secret until now.

Evidence from leaked emails, public contracts, and geolocation ties Site 81 to American defense firms and Israeli intelligence units, including Unit 8200. Companies inside the Da Vinci complex — like AI21 Labs and Perimeter 81 — are linked to Israeli cyber-military operations.

The bunker sits beneath civilian housing, shops, a playground, and a community center, which shows that the same claim Israel used against Hamas, is just a fact they themselves are doing: Using civilians as cover for military assets — the same “human shielding” it accuses others of.

After the strike, Israel censored reporting, removed Google Maps and Yandex imagery of the area, and blocked journalists from filming.
