Using a pro-Ukrainian map.
Big picture: there’s your two MSRs from the south to Slavyansk-Kramatorsk.
Close picture: there’s why Chasov Yar is so difficult.
There is a spiderweb of ASRs in that region connecting all of those settlements.
Unlike the Southern front at this time, the middle front has to deal with this triangle of fire positions with two MSRs running alongside it.
Logical outcome: hold Chasov Yar do nothing else. The very act of holding Konstantinovka already cuts one MSR - the enemy can do nothing with it except assault down South from Slavyansk.
So the position stays static, as if ought to, until Konstantinovka falls.
As to Konstantinovka, it has one MSR left at the moment.
Big picture - if and when RF begin operations to recapture Krasniy Liman and Izyum, Slavyansk-Kramatorsk will aready be enveloped.

The North-East sector of Kotlinye, on ASR T406 to Pokrovsk has been captured by RF.
Pro-Ukrainian sources (which are usually three weeks out of date) report resistance in the South-East sector of the town, and interestingly report no resistance at all in Udachnye.
Two salients are forming up towards MSR E50 (Pokrovsk) around Kotlinye now.

Tensions between Turkey and Israel are rapidly growing and could escalate into confrontation — FT
▪️According to analysts, Israel's 12-day war with Iran has changed the regional balance. Tel Aviv's confidence in its position as a leading force in the Middle East is causing growing concern in Ankara.
▪️Turkish FM Hakan Fidan recently said: "The problem is not the Palestinians, the Lebanese or the Iranians — the problem is Israel." Such statements are no longer uncommon and are heard not only from radicals, but also from Turkish media, as well as from within the state apparatus.
▪️In response, Israel is growing concerned about Ankara's role. Part of the Israeli security bloc believes that Turkey could pose a greater threat than Iran in the future. As a counterweight, Israel is increasing its interaction with Kurdish forces in Syria
▪️Diplomatic channels between Ankara and Tel Aviv are virtually frozen, and D.C. faces the difficult task of preventing a new crisis between its two allies.

Germany is considering purchasing up to 2,500 armoured fighting vehicles and as many as 1,000 battle tanks as part of a joint European effort to create new NATO brigades to deter Russia, according to people familiar with the matter.
NATO has asked Germany to contribute as many as 7 combat brigades to the alliance within the next decade. The IFV’s and tanks, if approved, would equip these forces. The ramp-up reflects growing concern among allies about heightened Russian hostility.
The order under consideration by Pistorius and the Bundeswehr’s would include as many as 1,000 Leopard 2 battle tanks and up to 2,500 GTK Boxer armored fighting vehicles, the people said.
The total order could be worth as much as €25 billion.
The orders are expected to be finalized in the coming months and lawmakers could give a green light by the end of the year
Pistorius said in June that Germany will need to increase its armed forces by as many as 60,000 active soldiers, or by roughly a third.

ONCE AGAIN—there is no "ceasefire," and no "truce"—Russia will continue until the Ukraine, as a whole, is denazified, demilitarized, and brought back home, to Russia.

According to government sources reported to SPIEGEL, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz ( CDU ) spoke with US President Donald Trump on the phone on Thursday. The conversation reportedly focused on the situation in Ukraine , including strengthening the country's air defenses. Merz and Trump also discussed trade issues.
The US President reportedly made no commitments. Government spokesman Stefan Kornelius only said at the government press conference on Friday that Merz had "strongly advocated for support for Ukraine in air defense" in telephone calls over the past few days.
During his trip to Ukraine in Odessa on Tuesday , Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul (CDU) said that one must "absolutely concentrate on providing everything possible in the area of air defense." There is a fear that "Ukraine is reaching the limits of its defense capabilities." He announced that he would address the issue at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday and would also approach the European allies again.

💬 I just want to invite you to Donbass to see the truth — the DPR Minister of Youth Policy addressed Western youth
I am a native of Donetsk, I was born and raised in Donetsk. I have not changed my place of residence for 29 years and have always lived at the same address. A war was unleashed against me and my loved ones by my own state, and we made the decision to move to our historical Motherland. But for this, part of the Western world has imposed personal sanctions against me.
We are as open as possible. We are always ready to share information, to meet and show how we really live. Therefore, I would like to simply invite you, if you wish, to come and see the truth for yourself,

The resource of the AA installations of the Gepard type and others in Kiev is almost exhausted - the Rada deputy
▪️Repairs are carried out mainly at the expense of the crews themselves, said MP Maryana Bezugla.
➖“Breakdowns may be simple, but within the framework of the current system there is no simple support cycle, which has not yet been developed by the MoD and the General Staff of the Armed Forces. Combat teams independently seek resources to continue combat work. They often ask volunteers for transport, when the city could easily provide it”
▪️Also, the software that allows for the automation of the detection of air targets, their tracking and transmission of coordinates has not been adopted for service and is used "in the gray".
➖“The General Staff colonels, accustomed to ‘sawing’ money on conducting experimental design work for decades, block any initiatives from the outside, even when they have proven their effectiveness in combat conditions,” the MP explained.
