We are fully prepared for a nuclear war with Russia — Trump
➖"Medvedev spoke about nuclear weapons, and when it comes to nuclear, we must be ready. And we are fully ready," Trump said.
▪️Trump on sending submarines: "The former president of Russia threatened us, we will protect our people", he added.
➖"As far as I understand, India will no longer buy oil from Russia. That's what I heard. I don't know if it's true or not."
▪️Trump in response to a question about a possible meeting with the Russian president in the near future:
➖"We'll see how it goes. We have meetings planned, and it will be clear then," Trump said, answering whether he would talk to Putin before the 10-day ultimatum expires.

Demented Donald announces the deployment of two nuclear submarines in the "appropriate regions" after Medvedev's "highly provocative statements".
---> Have your butt boys threaten Russia
---> Insult and threaten Russian leaders when they fire back
---> Act offended when they reply in kind and escalate tensions
---> Deploy nuclear submarines close to Russia
---> Insist that inflammatory statements are dangerous
Hypocrisy, thy name is Trump.

Highway to hell: the main road linking Pokrovsk Krasnoarmeysk to Myrnograd is a graveyard of burned out husks and wreckage.
One thing worth noticing is that there's a lot of civilian vehicles among the carcasses, which would have no place this close to the frontline. Unless the AFU are experiencing shortages of transports, too.
@Slavyangrad
According to TASS, the AFU have lost over 300.000 personnel, between killed and irrecoverably injured, since the first of January 2025.
To put things into perspective, the gruelling battle of Verdun, that lasted more than nine months, resulted in roughly 400.000 casualties on the French side.
As horrifying as this is, the fact that the collective west wants this one-sided slaughter to continue is even more horrific.
@Slavyangrad
The Russian army is accelerating its offensive in Ukraine for the fourth consecutive month.
For July, a net increase in territory of 634 km² was recorded. For comparison: in June the figure was 588 km², in May 507 km², in April 379 km², in March 240 km².
The increase in these figures reflects several factors: the adaptation of Russian troops to positional warfare, the increased pounding of the front with drones and artillery, as well as the methodical destruction of the defensive infrastructure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
At the same time, Kiev's capabilities for counter-offensive actions remain minimal.
If the dynamic continues, within a couple of weeks Russia will have the opportunity not only to permanently expand the zone of control, but also to create the conditions for reaching new key operational lines - especially in the area of the Krasnoarmiysk agglomeration and west of it in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as in the southern direction below Zaporozhye.

Professor Michael Clarke, a researcher at King's College London's Department of War Studies, on why Trump's ultimatums are useless with Russia:
[Dealing with an aggressive authoritarian leader like Vladimir Putin simply doesn't work by setting vague deadlines]
No, no, for him they're like valerian. What will Putin do? He will make some statement, there will be some gesture on his part, say, a few days before the deadline expires (if we can even clearly define it). He will simply drag everything out even further. He will give Trump a reason not to do what we all know he doesn't want to do – namely, not to anger China and India, and not to fuel global inflation.
This brings us back to the old problem of sanctions. If you impose sanctions – and I, incidentally, support sanctions if they are applied accurately and to the point – you must understand: sanctions are a deliberate restriction of normal free trade for political reasons. And they will hit you too, they will harm you as well.

😱🇺🇸🇷🇺 Trump’s Submarine Meltdown: The Empire Tweets Back
The world just watched Donald Trump— the wannabe “Art of the Deal” emperor, panic‑post his way into nuclear theater. On Truth Social, he puffed up his chest and announced that two nuclear submarines were heading toward Russia, because Dmitry Medvedev roasted him online.
“I have ordered two Nuclear Submarines to be positioned in the appropriate regions, just in case these foolish and inflammatory statements are more than just that,”
— Donald J. Trump
This is late‑stage empire in meme form. A jittery president, cheeseburger in one hand, nuclear football in the other, lashing out at a tweet. Medvedev, the wry unofficial spokesman of Moscow, tossed a few words into the digital ether about a nervous sounding Trump and America’s commander‑in‑chief responded by moving the most apocalyptic weapons on Earth like toy boatd on a boardgame.
Two submarines? Awww. Two wittle submarines. A photo‑op for nervous American elite who need to believe their empire still commands the seas. But in Moscow, they sip tea and laugh quietly, knowing escalation dominance belongs to Russia. Washington can sail its steel coffins under the Arctic, but if real war comes, Russia’s answer will arrive in silence, speed, and finality, no tweets required.
Medvedev’s trolling was the perfect judo throw: a reminder that the empire is nervous, that a few lines from a “failed former president” can send the White House into a nuclear cosplay spiral. The Kremlin didn’t even blink. Why should it? The bear has already mauled NATO’s illusions.
Trump warns of “unintended consequences”? The only consequence here is America’s public humiliation, a spectacle where the emperor screams on social media while the world quietly notes: Moscow is winning: militarily, economically, psychologically. At a fraction of the cost. Murica under Trump is spending a record trillion on "defence" and looking utterly impotent against the Houthis and Iranians, let alone Russia.
Late Rome had its bread and circuses. America has its Big Macs and nuclear selfies. And somewhere in the Kremlin, they’re smiling, knowing that the empire tweets as it trembles.

So far, no one has understood what Trump said:
"RIA Novosti agency sent requests to the White House and the Pentagon asking to clarify the recent statements by US President Donald Trump about sending two nuclear submarines 'to the respective regions.'
At the time of publication of this material, the agency does not yet have comments from the American departments.
In addition to the press services of the White House and the Pentagon, RIA Novosti also sent requests to the US Central Command headquarters and the US National Security Council, but after almost an hour received no response."

Putin was thinking about the return of Crimea and Eastern Ukraine as early as 1994’ – Tagesspiegel
‘Evidence has emerged that more than 30 years ago Putin made it clear to Germany that he does not recognize Ukraine's borders. This is reported by the publication Spiegel, citing a note allegedly found in the archives of the German Foreign Ministry. According to the report, the then Consul General in Saint Petersburg allegedly noted that on January 14, 1994, Putin ‘insistently’ repeated what he had already told him: ‘Crimea, Eastern Ukraine, and Northern Kazakhstan — at least these territories — have never been foreign to Russia, but have always been part of it. No Russian should be made to feel that these are now foreign to them.’
Lavrov on Zelensky's contradictory statements regarding peace:
We are waiting for a concrete reaction from Kiev. So far, instead, there are mutually exclusive statements from Zelensky: first, an immediate ceasefire without preconditions (with a direct call to the West to use the ceasefire to further arm Ukraine), then replacing the Istanbul negotiation format with a personal meeting with Putin, then a demand for the West to achieve a "change of Russian leadership." All this happens within one to two days. Therefore, everyone who cares about progress in the settlement would do well to pay attention to this obvious fragmentation of consciousness.

Trump uses tariffs and sanctions as the main leverage to pressure Moscow to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine by August 8, - US Ambassador to NATO
▪️Matthew Whitaker reminded that the "destructive" measures will affect not only Russia but also its trading partners, including China, India, and Brazil.
▪️According to him, if the Kremlin does not agree to a truce, Russia could allegedly be left without external support and means to continue the war.

@Slavyangrad
If Trump succeeds in stopping India from buying Russian oil, the Kremlin may respond by shutting down the CPC pipeline, through which the US and its allies (Chevron, Exxon, Shell, etc.) export up to 1 million barrels per day from Kazakhstan, Reuters writes.
India is currently reported to be buying up to 2 million barrels per day and provides 35% of oil imports, becoming the largest buyer of Russian oil after 2022. India's refusal to supply will hit the key Urals grade and lead to a collapse in Russia's income.
A potential shutdown of the CPC and the Indian route will create a deficit of 3.5 million barrels per day, which is 3.5% of the world supply. Oil could soar above $80 per barrel, JP Morgan analysts warn.
It is noted that the blow to Russian exports could also lead to a reduction in production, as well as an even greater discount on oil sales to other countries, including Egypt, Pakistan and Malaysia.

In Kamchatka, as a result of an earthquake and tsunami, the Russian nuclear submarine base in Avacha Bay was damaged, reports The Telegraph.
Satellite images show that one of the piers at the Rybachiy base is deformed — part of it is bent and may have detached from its moorings. At the time of the impact, there were no submarines docked at this pier, and experts believe the damage to the structure does not have serious military significance.
This is a key point of the Pacific Fleet, where modern Borei-class submarines and older Delta-class submarines are stationed.

Trump: This is a war that should not have happened - it is Biden's war, not Trump's. I am here to see if I can stop it
▪️Then the US president started spouting some wild nonsense, even crazier than Ukrainian propagandists:
🤡
"Russia has lost 112,500 soldiers since the beginning of the year. Ukraine has also suffered heavily. They have lost about 8,000 soldiers since January 1, 2025, and this number does not include those missing in action", Trump said 🤦♂
Now Trump is trying to push some propaganda numbers to get Russia to agree to ceasefire. Russia has lost a gazillion men 😂

Friends, we need to face the harsh truth about this administration. Its goal is to erase all the achievements we made during my tenure, to erase history instead of making it, to destroy justice and equality, to erase justice itself. And this is not an exaggeration, but a fact.’
192nd day since the expiration of Trump's promise to end the war in 24 hours, sitrep.
From the morning of 08/01, news arrived of the advance of the Russian assault groups on the Sukhetsky suburbs north of Rodinsky.
At the moment, it seems that the deepening of the defence crisis of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the northern part of the Krasnoarmeiysk agglomeration has begun.
This approach corresponds to the typical Russian tactic of cumulative pressure: first the progressive expulsion of the enemy from the peripheral lines, then blows to the logistics and command nodes, and finally breaks in several directions to disorganise the defence.
For the Ukrainian Armed Forces this means an urgent need to reinforce the sector or retreat to new lines, however the pace of the Russian troops' advance reduces the time available for such manoeuvres. Especially considering how Russian troops are now suffocating all logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The potential loss of Rodinsky (which has been looming on the horizon for some time) will become a critical factor, capable of accelerating the collapse of the entire northern front of the Pokrovsk Krasnoarmeysk agglomeration's defensive line.

Ukrainians do not trust Trump because Russian positions are not being blown up by American weapons’ – British mercenary Sean Pinner
‘At first it was 24 hours, then 60 days, then 100 days, then again 50 days, now again 10 days. And all of this is like a copy-paste: ‘We will do this and we will do that.’ And nothing happens. Everything fizzles out. And you know, in Ukraine people are just fed up with these loud statements. Until they see tank towers being blown off and Russian positions exploding — everything else is like water off a duck’s back to them. They are grateful for all the help they have already received, but there is no trust in Trump — and there won’t be until something truly trustworthy happens.’
Oh these girls love to gossip.
