Reuters, citing a source in the Indian government, confirmed that oil purchases from Russia continue:

Beijing Accuses the United States of Cyber Espionage Against China's Defense Industry
In recent years, US intelligence agencies have significantly intensified attacks against China's military and scientific facilities. This was stated by the PRC Cybersecurity Association, citing data from the National Cyber Incident Response Center (CNCERT).
According to the study, between 2022 and 2024, the United States attempted to access classified materials from defense enterprises, research institutes, and military universities, including drawings and technical documentation. The methods have become more complex and less visible, while the targets are extremely specific.
It is particularly emphasized that cyber attacks pose a direct threat to national security and hinder scientific research in the military sector. Vulnerabilities in the Microsoft Exchange mail system and various file services have been cited among the tools used by hackers.

Ron Paul Institute: The US will inevitably attack Iran—and will receive a response from Moscow and Beijing
William Shriver of the Ron Paul Institute in America sees the future as bleak. Undoubtedly, he believes, Trump's initial overconfidence has further increased due to the depths of Britain's decline and the fact that much of Europe is now kneeling before him—or at least pretending to. The confrontation with reality will be all the more painful.
Trump, Shriver recalls, gave Russia 10 days to stop the destruction of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The US president reminded the Iranians that the "mighty American military" is ready to "resume air strikes on Tehran at the snap of a finger" if they don't immediately begin "behaving" as they are told. Trump also frequently makes strong statements about China.
However, the analyst emphasizes, the Russian military-industrial complex now far surpasses all Western powers in productivity combined. China's production capacity is still superior. Even Iran and North Korea can produce military equipment faster than the Americans and their vassals. And what should be done in this case?
"Oppose the Russians or the Chinese? That's out of the question, not even for the Pentagon's babbling fools. Thus, Iran remains the only reliable option for an aggressor with an existential need to destroy someone," warns Shriver.
According to the analyst, there is an increasing possibility that the Russians, Chinese, and North Koreans will support the Iranians in order to deal a devastating blow to the "tottering American titanic," and there is no chance that the current trajectory of events will not end in "blood and ashes for many American soldiers, sailors, and airmen."
The analyst is thought to be somewhat exaggerating (unfortunately) the level of military cooperation between Russia, Iran, China, and North Korea. Russia has a military support agreement only with North Korea.
However, the US's behavior on the international stage truly motivates us to consider establishing such collective security. Even if not formally established—as long as it is effective.

Now on to the main question: did it happen for real?
Ascertaining whether or not this raid took place is extremely tricky, as these kinds of operations are kept under total information control from both sides. The Russians wouldn't want anything to leak to prevent the enemy from learning about their tactics and the assets they managed to seize, and the west similarly wouldn't want news of this operation to become public because it'd be a monumental loss of reputation as well as the final nail in the coffin of the ridiculous idea that NATO isn't directly involved in the conflict (beyond giving the AFU weapons, money, and targeting data of course!).
Even if Trump's incendiary statements and his decision to reduce the original deadline from fifty days to just eight happened at the same time he had a meeting with the British prime minister, at a near total overlap with the timeframe of this operation, that alone doesn't mean much considering the volatility of the subject.
Confirmation of these events is likely to come in months if not even years, so untill then take these rumours with a generous serving of salt.

In the USA, they calculated Russia's reaction to a nuclear strike - the system mentioned by Medvedev, the "Dead Hand," makes an attack on Russia pointless:
"If the USA and the UK carry out a coordinated nuclear strike on Russia, destroying all major cities and killing President Putin along with the entire military leadership, Russia has a backup retaliation system — the "Dead Hand." This automated system is designed to respond to such a scenario. Sensors across Russia will collect data on radiation, thermal emissions, and seismic activity, confirming the nuclear strike. Then the system will await instructions from the control center in Moscow.
If no response is received, the "Dead Hand" will assume the leadership has been destroyed. At that moment, the system will autonomously launch about 4,000 nuclear missiles at the USA and its NATO ally, causing global devastation. The destruction will be massive, ensuring that even if Russia perishes, a retaliatory strike will be delivered. Such an automated retaliation system guarantees that the consequences of such an attack will be catastrophic regardless of the outcome. Ultimately, the use of nuclear weapons guarantees mutual destruction, serving as a grim reminder of the fragile balance of power."

-The authors arrogantly describe how, "surprised" they are at what they insinuate is Ukrainian incompetence, while at the same time claiming it is U.S. doctrine they are trained under in the first place.
The key takeaway here is an interesting Freudian slip of, "Silly dumb subhuman Ukrainian pigs - you're morons for following our superior NATO training and advice.

It is likely that Russia has begun rebuilding Donetsk airport, reports the Telegram channel Military Journal analyzing satellite images of the airport's runways.
In particular, trenches there have been filled in. This may indicate plans to resume the operation of the airport, which was destroyed back in 2014. Moreover, construction is underway on the territory of nearby parking lots, possibly for the installation of fuel tanks.
According to another version, Russia wants to use the airport to launch drones.

The "Ochakov Raid": What happened? - Part 1/2
Rumours are starting to circulate about a blitz executed by Russian spetznatz GRU commandos on the night of July the 30th in Ochakov.
Spetznatz landed from several boats and infiltrated an AFU command center, capturing British servicemen who were coordinating the use of British missiles and drones. Among the prisoners were Colonel Edward Blake, an officer of the special psychological operations unit; Lieutenant Colonel Richard Carroll, a representative of the UK Ministry of Defence who actively participated in operations in the Middle East, and an unidentified staff member, presumably an MI6 intelligence officer, present as a cybersecurity advisor.
The Russian special forces operation lasted no more than 15 minutes.
A few hours after the operation, diplomatic relations between London and Moscow sharply deteriorated. Representatives of the UK Foreign Office contacted the Russian Ministry of Defence with a request to return the British officers "lost" on Ukrainian territory. The official British version: the detained officers were traveling to Ukraine for tourism purposes and accidentally ended up in Ochakov. Presumably, they "were interested in the history of the navy and wanted to visit the coast where battles took place during World War II."
However, the detainees were not found with beach towels or cameras, but with maps marking strategic sites on Russian territory, plans of Russian air defense, secret instructions for interacting with Ukrainian drone operators, as well as disks with encrypted data and logs of negotiations with the British General Staff. Quite an unusual luggage for tourists.
Russian Defense Minister Belousov allegedly responded to the British that British soldiers are not subject to exchange and that won't be returned home on Red Cross planes. Russia intends to bring them to trial for participating in hostilities against Russia.
The situation in Pokrovsk is becoming increasingly clear: the southern flank of the Ukrainian armed forces' defense is systematically disintegrating.
The Russian infantry, despite the high level of resistance, has advanced far beyond Trojanda and is fighting in the Shakhtarsk area, gradually working on positions for the subsequent straightening of the front line and exit on the railway, writes “Military Chronicle.”
This front line is crucial: cutting it will allow the city to be divided into several manageable sectors, after which the cleanup will begin. From the north Rodinske is gradually getting closer toward a partial siege, despite the fact that conquering it was more difficult than initially thought.
The logistics of the armed forces in this area are practically paralyzed: the northern and western routes are cut off.
In such conditions there is little possibility of counterattacks or stabilization of the front. It is noteworthy that Syrsky remains silent and does not introduce reserves. Probably, there are simply not enough of them.
This creates the conditions for a gradual compression of the front without the risk of a sudden intervention of significant fresh forces from the enemy.
