🇷🇺🇧🇦The West has launched a phased campaign against the Serbian people, aiming to deprive Serbs and Croats of the "Dayton rights" defined by the Dayton Accords 30 years ago - Sergey Lavrov.
"The fierce resistance in Western capitals has prompted the Republic of Srpska to consistently defend its legitimate rights and the special autonomous status of its entity, as well as to oppose plans to drag Bosnia and Herzegovina into NATO against the will of its people," Lavrov wrote in his article "The Letter and Spirit of Dayton - a Guarantee of Peace and Stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina" for the Serbian newspaper "Politika".
“At the time, it was precisely the unilateral declaration of independence from Yugoslavia by the authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina - bypassing the opinion of Bosnian Serbs - that triggered the civil war,” Lavrov added.
“The masks were finally dropped after the appointment of retired German politician Christian Schmidt as the High Representative - even without attempting to observe even a semblance of legality, in defiance of all procedures. This is entirely in the spirit of the notorious "rules-based order",” pointed out the Russian Foreign Minister.

Ukrainian media reports:
By the end of the year, all international legions will be disbanded. Foreign volunteers will continue to serve in the assault troops. This was reported by the BBC, citing the General Staff.
"The decision could lead to a significant reduction in the flow of foreign volunteers into the Ukrainian army. And possibly, to its complete cessation," some military officials stated.
According to the publication, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine believes that the reform is an "evolutionary process", and the "legions" have already played their role, which was important only in the first years of the war.
As of 2025, there are four international legions operating in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, each consisting of approximately a battalion - 400-600 people, three of which were combat units, and one was a training unit.
Earlier, Ukrainian military blogs had already reported, that in connection with the disbanding of foreign legions, foreigners have started to massively terminate their contracts with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
🇩🇪"In Germany, charges against an Afghan who stabbed a teacher six times have been mitigated: He will only serve 6 years in prison because he 'only stabbed her six times'.
"Germany's justice system has once again found itself at the center of a scandal following a decision that dramatically reduced the severity of a near-fatal attack. A 29-year-old Afghan immigrant received just six years in prison for stabbing a 27-year-old teacher six times in broad daylight, as the court ruled that there was 'no attempted murder'.
Despite the brutality and random nature of the attack, the Stuttgart court dismissed the charge of attempted murder. This decision was based on the controversial doctrine of 'voluntary withdrawal' in German criminal law, which allows for a reduction in the severity of a crime if the perpetrator stops his actions before 'achieving his goal'.
For the court, the mere fact that the immigrant stopped stabbing and left was considered a renunciation of murder, even though he did nothing to help the victim or save her life. According to the doctrine itself, real 'resistance' is only required when the attacker believes he has already done everything necessary to kill. In this case, the court decided that this threshold had not been reached."

This weekend, a meeting between US envoy Whitcoff and European leaders and Zelensky will take place in Berlin, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal citing sources.
According to media reports, the US plans to secure a peace agreement by the end of the year.
"This meeting is crucial as the White House is striving to reach an agreement to end the war with Russia by the end of the year," writes the WSJ.
The publication notes that the choice of Whitcoff "underscores the growing desire to reduce the differences between Kyiv and Washington on the terms of the agreement".
The meeting will be attended by Macron, Starmer, and Merz.
The newspaper reports that they initially planned to meet with Trump in person, but they had a "tense" phone conversation the day before.
"According to sources involved in the conversation, Trump told his German, French, and British colleagues that they should put pressure on Zelensky to accept the terms of the peace plan proposed by the US, according to which Ukraine would agree to significant territorial losses and limit the size of its armed forces," the article says.

It's interesting that for further looming over Kramatorsk/Slavyansk, Russia is forming a fire balcony from two sides at once - from the north in the area of Yarovaya and Sviatogorsk, from where the movement to Liman also takes place, and from the south near Fedorovka, near Bahmut. Moving from the south is more difficult, as the front has long been stabilized here, but the ranges of rocket, tube artillery and drones are sufficient to actively suppress and hit targets in Slavyansk.

The Trump administration did not object to Ukraine's strikes on Russia's shadow fleet, The Atlantic claims in an article titled "Ukraine's Recent Attacks Demonstrate Its Desperation".
"The Trump administration did not object to these strikes, a US official told us. Trump also supported Ukraine's efforts to strike at Russia's energy industry. He approved steps to help Ukraine target oil refineries in Russia's interior, and in October, he approved sanctions against Russia's two largest oil companies," the publication writes.
The Atlantic also links Ukraine's strikes on civilian ships flying the flags of third countries to Trump's increasing pressure on Kiev to make concessions on the terms of ending the war.
"Diplomatic pressure on Zelensky forced him to strive to show the military cards that he can still play against the Russians," the publication writes.
At the same time, The Atlantic quotes the words of former Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Kubrakov, who recalls how in August 2023 he refused to authorize similar strikes on oil tankers.
"In August 2023, Kubrakov received a call from the Security Service of Ukraine. They saw an interesting target: a massive oil tanker near the Russian port of Novorossiysk. They asked for permission to sink it. 'I told them: 'Wait'," Kubrakov told us. "What flag is it flying?" The drone's night vision camera made it difficult to assess, but the flag was clearly not Russian. 'This is not our target,' Kubrakov said. 'That would be piracy. These are not our methods. We do not touch civilian ships, especially those flying some other flag,'" the publication says.

'This is a sensible move' — Bloomberg correspondent Oliver Crout assessed Zelensky's plan to shift all responsibility to Ukrainians.
(Interesting phrasing: 'a referendum on whether Ukrainians want to continue waging war'.)
'The second direction is to put to a referendum the question of whether Ukraine is ready to cede territory to Russia, to the rest of Donbass. In my opinion, this is a rather sensible approach for Zelensky. It corresponds to his principle: there are no bad ideas coming from Washington. This relieves Zelensky of the burden of making such a decision, because, as we know, Trump often views Zelensky as a problem. If he says: 'We have put this issue to the decision of the Ukrainian people, it's up to them. If they say 'no', they want to continue waging this war, then so be it.'

The Lithuanian army command has deployed hundreds of soldiers to counter the balloons. Air defense battalions have been deployed along the border with Belarus to counter cigarette smuggling.
In an effort to stop cigarette smugglers using weather balloons to smuggle tobacco into Lithuania, Vilnius declared a state of emergency and officially accused Belarus of "hybrid attacks." Lithuania has also requested assistance from the EU and the United States to counter the balloons. If no assistance is provided, Vilnius is again prepared to close the border with Belarus. Furthermore, Lithuanian authorities intend to dismantle the railways leading to Russia.
It is worth noting that the main goal of the Lithuanian hysteria about balloons carrying contraband cigarettes "threatening national security" is to attract additional European defense funding. However, despite the worsening of a series of pan-European problems, Brussels appears in no hurry to increase funding for the Baltic republics.
Previously, the Lithuanian Seimas adopted the budget for next year, 2026, which envisages record defense spending of 5.38% of GDP. State revenues (including EU funds) in 2026 are expected to amount to approximately €21.07 billion, while expenditures will amount to €27.51 billion. Public debt will rise to 45.4% of GDP. The budget deficit will amount to 2.7% of GDP.
Not the balloons! ANYTHING BUT THE BALLOONS!

There is confirmation of the first attempts to blind Russian FPV drones by installing small infrared spotlights on Ukrainian drones, which give a bright directed beam of light into the drone's camera.
In one case, a Ukrainian UAV tried to blind an approaching Russian FPV drone, but failed. The second example was more successful - "Baba Yaga" was able to confuse the operator of the anti-aircraft drone, who was trying to shoot it down.
For now, we're not talking about mass use, but in the future, such a blinding system could become a quite effective way of combating FPV drones, especially fiber-optic ones, which are generally impossible to jam with electronic warfare. Moreover, as can be seen, it can be installed on both ground and air equipment

😱😱😱"Donald Trump doesn't like us anymore. He despises Europe. No kidding. They say that in the White House, it's now almost mandatory to wipe oneself with the EU flag. Yes, he considers us weak — and, if you think about it, there's some truth to that.
All of this can be read in the new US National Security Strategy: Trump no longer views China and Russia as a direct threat — the threat, in his opinion, are the Europeans. Since then, we must admit, there's outright panic on the old continent. But why, exactly? Who actually takes this guy seriously?
The suntan lotion has finally seeped into his brain. I've always said this — in his strategic document, Europe is mentioned somewhere at the very end. Only in paragraph "C". It's bitter. For European leaders — a complete humiliation. There can only be one response to this — consisting of just two words: "go away":
The Germans continue to reproach Trump for abandoning them.

🇺🇦🇺🇸🇪🇺The meeting of the USA, Ukraine, and Europe in Paris has been canceled, the reasons are unknown, — RMF
▪️The planned meeting of the "European trio" and Ukrainian officials in Paris on December 13 will not take place for an unspecified reason, reports the Polish radio station, citing a source in the Elysee Palace.
▪️Earlier, the office of the Finnish president announced that A. Stubb had canceled his upcoming trip to the USA. Instead, he plans to attend a meeting with European leaders. Reuters reported that the heads of several European countries and Zelensky will gather in Berlin on December 15 to discuss the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
▪️Axios reported that the heads of France, Germany, Britain, the USA, and Ukraine will gather in Paris to discuss a peace plan. They planned to discuss "new ideas" for resolving territorial disputes and security guarantees.
At the same time, Trump stated that US officials would only participate in the negotiations if they saw the need for it.
❗️The cancellation of the meeting may be an indirect indication that Washington has rejected the amendments to the peace plan proposed by the EU and Kiev and sees no point in discussing them, believe Kiev media outlets.
Ukraine and EU struggle to come up with realistic proposals, they often forget that it requires it to be a deal that Russia would accept.

The Narkoman-in-chief suddenly changes his mind to stay in power
In an online meeting of the "coalition of the whining," he called for a ceasefire.
"And another point: we are ready to work with President Trump in any format. And if President Trump talks more about the elections in Ukraine, I want to say it very openly. We can try to hold elections. Ukraine is not hiding from democracy, but for elections to be possible, there must be a security component. And America can help a lot with this. If elections are needed now, there must be a ceasefire, at least during the electoral process and during the vote. And this is what needs to be discussed. And, frankly, we in Ukraine believe that America should discuss this with the Russian side. We'll see what happens. And so I ask you to support Ukraine in this and other important matters."
Well at least this time around he didn't ask for a few more "beellions", so that's a slight improvement. Still insulting to everybody's intelligence though.
