O you who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly except it be a trade amongst you, by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves ˹nor kill one another˺. Surely, ALLĀH is Most Merciful to you.
And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, WE shall cast him into the Fire, and that is easy for ALLĀH.
If you avoid the major sins which you are forbidden, WE will remove from you your lesser sins and admit you to a noble entrance (i.e. Paradise).
{An-Nisā || Verse 29-31}
THE GREATEST FACTOR IN ATTAINING FORGIVENESS
Imām Ibn Rajab (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said:
“From the factors in attaining forgiveness is: Tawheed, and it is the greatest factor, so whoever is bereft of it is bereft of forgiveness, and whoever comes with it; then he has indeed come with the greatest of factors for the attainment of forgiveness.
ALLĀH, The Most High, said:
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ
Indeed, ALLĀH does not forgive Shirk [association in worship] being made with HIM, but HE forgives what is other than that for whom HE wishes. {An-Nisaa: 48}
So whoever comes – along with Tawheed – with the equivalent of the earth; and it is that which fills it or that which comes close to filling it in wrongdoing; then ALLĀH will meet him with its equivalent in forgiveness. However; this is with the will of ALLĀH, The Mighty and Majestic, so if HE wills; HE will forgive him, and if HE wills; HE will seize him by his sins. Then his outcome will be that he will not remain eternally in the Fire, rather he will exit from it – then enter Paradise.
Some of them have said: the Muwahhid (person of Tawheed) is not thrown into the Fire as the disbelievers are thrown, nor does he remain within it in the way that the disbelievers remain. So if the persons Tawheed is complete – along with his sincerity for ALLĀH in it, and he stands with all of its conditions with his heart and his tongue and his limbs; or with his heart and his tongue at the point of death; that then necessitates forgiveness for that which has come to pass from sins – all of them.
Along with his being prevented from entering the Fire altogether, so whoever actualizes the statement of Tawheed with his heart, and so expels from it everything other than ALLĀH by way of love and veneration and exaltation and awe and reverential fear and hope and reliance; it is then that his sins and wrongdoing will burn – all of them – even if they were like meerschaum (the froth upon the sea). For perhaps it may turn them into good deeds as has preceded in the mention of regarding the changing of bad deeds into good deeds.
For indeed this Tawheed; it is the greatest remedial solution (elixir), thus if a tiny particle of it were to be placed upon the mountains of sins and wrongdoing; it would turn them into good deeds.”

SUNNAH PRAYER AFTER JUMU'AH PRAYER
Abdullah bin 'Umar (May ALLĀH be pleased with them) reported: I performed along with the Prophet ﷺ two Rak'ah (Sunnah prayer) after the Jumu'ah prayer.
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said, "If anyone of you performs the Friday prayer, he should perform four Rak'ah (Sunnah) after it.''
[Muslim].
Ibn 'Umar (May ALLĀH be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet ﷺ would not perform any Salat (in the mosque) after the Friday prayer till he had returned to his house. He would then perform two Rak'ah there.
[Muslim].
{Riyadhus-Saliheen: Hadith 1125, 1226 & 1127}
COMMENTARY:
In one Hadith, there is mention of four Rak'ah, while in the other it is mentioned as two Rak'ah. It can be deduced that both of these are acceptable. 'Ulama' are of the opinion that one who performs them in the mosque, should perform four Rak'ah; whereas the one performing them at home, should perform two Rak'ah with one Taslim. It is better to perform them in twos as the Prophet ﷺ is reported to have said, "Perform the Nawafil of the day and night in twos.'' {Al-Bukhari}.

KNOWING THE KEYS TO EVIL
Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said:
Indeed – ALLĀH The One free of all imperfections has made a key and a door for every good and evil by way of which they are entered.
Just as HE made shirk and pride and turning away from that which ALLĀH sent HIS Messenger ﷺ with as well as being negligent of HIS remembrance and establishing HIS rights: a key to the Fire.
Just as HE made wine (liquor): a key to every sin.
And HE made singing: a key to fornication.
HE made unregulated glancing at images: a key to pursuit and sinful desire.
HE made laziness and relaxation: a key to failure and deprivation.
HE made sins – all of them: a key to kufr (disbelief).
HE made lying: a key to hypocrisy.
HE made avarice and covetousness: a key to miserliness and to the severing of the ties of kinship as well as taking wealth from other than its lawful place.
HE made the turning away from that which the Messenger ﷺ came with: a key to every innovation and misguidance.
And these are affairs which are not attested to except by: Every individual possessing sound discernment and intellect with which he knows of that which is within himself and that which is in existence from good and evil.
Therefore it befits the servant that he should pay regard – in every regard to understanding the keys, as well as that which the keys have been devised for; and its enablement and justice are by way of ALLĀH. For HIM is the kingdom and to HIM are all praises and unto HIM is blessing and excellence;
HE is not questioned as to what HE does, while they will be questioned.

SECTION 2⃣
PART 9⃣: QURAYSH HARMING THE COMPANIONS
1⃣. When Quraysh saw that the Messenger ﷺ became respected and honoured, they refrained from harming him.
2⃣. They turned to his companions with oppression, especially the weak ones who had no supporters.
3⃣. Each tribe tortured those who embraced Islam from among them, with imprisonment, beating, hunger, and thirst, to the point that one of them couldn't sit or know what they were saying due to the severity of the torture.
4⃣. Among those tortured were Bilāl, Ammar ibn Yasir, his brother, father, and mother, and Khabbāb ibn al-Aratt (may ALLĀH be pleased with them all).

STERN WARNING AGAINST ABANDONING THE QUR'AN AND WAYS OF ABANDONING IT
ALLĀH tells:
The Messenger said: "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’ān as a thing abandoned."
ALLĀH tells how HIS Messenger and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ will say: "O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’ān as a thing abandoned."
The idolators would not listen to the Qur'an, as ALLĀH says:
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَا تَسْمَعُواْ لِهَـذَا الْقُرْءَانِ وَالْغَوْاْ فِيهِ
And those who disbelieve say: "Listen not to this Qur'an, and make noise in the midst of it." {Fussilat: 26}
When he would recite Qur'an to them, they would talk nonsense or speak about something else, so that they would not hear it.
This is a form of forsaking it and rejecting it, and not believing in it is the same as forsaking it, and not pondering its meanings and trying to understand it is the same as forsaking it, and not acting upon it and following its commandments and heeding its prohibitions is the same as forsaking it, and turning away from it in favor of poetry or other words or songs or idle talk or some other way is the same as forsaking it.
We ask ALLĀH, the Most Generous, the Bestower of bounty, the One Who is able to do what HE wills, to keep us safe from doing that which earns HIS wrath and to use us to do that which will earn HIS pleasure of preserving and understanding HIS Book, following its commandments night and day in the manner which HE loves and which pleases HIM, for HE is Generous and Kind

INVOCATION OF PEACE AND BLESSINGS UPON THE PROPHET ﷺ IN ABUNDANCE ON FRIDAY
Aus ibn Aus reports that the Prophet ﷺ said: "The most virtuous of your days is Jumu'ah. On that day, Adam was created and on that day he died, (on that day) the horn will be blown and the people will be dumbfounded! Increase your prayers upon me as your prayers upon me will be presented to me." The people said: "O Messenger of ALLĀH, how will our prayers be presented to you when you have passed away?" He said: "ALLĀH has prohibited the earth from eating the bodies of the Prophets."
{This is related by the five, except for al-Tirmidhi}
Ibn al-Qayyim (May ALLĀH have mercy on him) says:
"It is preferred to pray to ALLĀH to send blessings on the Prophet ﷺ during the day and night of Jumuah, as the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Invoke many prayers upon me during the day and night of Friday.'
"The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ is the leader of mankind, and Jumu'ah is the best of the days of the week. Prayers upon him during that day are a privilege (he deserves), which belongs to no one other than him.
"This act also has another wisdom, and that is that all of the good that has passed onto this Ummah, in this life and the Hereafter, has passed through him. ALLĀH has gathered the good of this life and the next life for this Ummah, and the greatest honor and success will be granted to them on Friday. On that day, they will be granted their houses and palaces in Paradise and that is the day they will be given more when they enter Paradise. It is a day of celebration for them in this life. It is also a day in which ALLĀH fulfills their needs and answers their prayers and requests in this world. They are aware of all of that and are able to attain it because of the Prophet ﷺ and it is through him (that they received these teachings); therefore, in gratitude and appreciation for the great blessings we received through him, we should send many prayers upon him during the day and night of Jumuʿah."
{Fiqh-us-Sunnah || 2/126}
May ALLĀH fill our hearts with love of His beloved Prophet ﷺ. May HE inspire our tongues to send much blessings on him ﷺ and guide us to lead our lives in accordance to his exalted and noble Sunnah.

WORSHIPER'S FAULTY ABLUTION HAS AN EFFECT ON THE IMAM'S RECITATION IN PRAYER
Imam Ahmad recorded from a man among the Companions of the Prophet that the Messenger of ALLĀH (ﷺ) led them in Fajr prayer and recited Ar-Rum in the prayer, but he became confused in his recitation.
He said:
“We have become confused in our recitation of Qur'an, because some people among you are praying with us but they have not performed Wudu' properly. Whoever attends the prayer with us, let him perform Wudu' properly.”
This has a Hasan chain of narration, the text itself is Hasan.
It contains amazing information, that the Prophet (ﷺ) was affected by the faulty Wudu' of some of those whom he was leading in prayer. This indicates that the prayer of the person who is praying in the congregation is connected to the prayer of the Imam.

Whoever turns a blind eye to the Reminder of the Most Merciful - WE appoint for him a devil, and he is to him a companion.
And indeed, they hinder them from the path, but they think that they are rightly guided!
Until, when he comes to US ˹at Judgement˺, he says ˹to his companion˺, "Oh, I wish there was between me and you the distance between the east and west - how wretched a companion."
And never will it benefit you that Day, when you have wronged, ˹and˺ that you will be sharers in the punishment.

SIGNS OF GOODNESS AND HUMILIATION
"I wonder whether the one who during Ramadān was fasting, reciting and reading Qur’an, giving and spending in charity, praying at night, making du’aa’, will he be like that after Ramadān, or will he follow another path, I mean the path of the Shaytān, so that he commits sin and does things that anger the Most Gracious, Most Merciful? If a Muslim continues to have the patience to do righteous deeds after Ramadān, this is a sign that his fasting has been accepted by his Lord, the Most Generous, the Bestower of blessings. If he fails to do righteous deeds after Ramadān, and follows the ways of the Shaytān, this is a sign of humiliation, meanness, lowly status and being deprived of the help of ALLĀH."
{Advice After Ramadān, Islamqa Questions and Answer #10505}
The pious and sincere believer will strive to fear and obey ALLĀH at all times, persisting in his taqwa and always striving to do good. A small action done constantly and regularly is better than a greater action which is done occasionally or done for a certain period then never performed again. ALLĀH's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "The best deeds are those done regularly even if they are few." {Ibn Majah #4240}
How beautiful were the words of Al-Junaid Al-Baghdādī, "If a man worships ALLĀH for one thousand years, and then he turns away from him for one moment, then what he missed in this moment is more than what he gained ˹in the one thousand years of worship˺" {Awakening From The Sleep of Heedlessness, pg. 31}
Our righteous predecessors were very conscious of their time and spent every minute in the obedience of ALLĀH. Janeed bn Muhammad was busy reciting the Qur’an and panting with his breath in his dying bed. His children said: ‘You are exerting too much pressure on your person!’ He answered: ‘And who is more deserving to exertion than me?’
Al-Aswad bin Yazīd (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) used to pray Qiyāmu-layl for the most part of the night. Some of his friends advised him to have some rest, and he said: ‘It is the rest of the Hereafter I’m seeking with my night prayers.’
This is the fulfilment of the words of ALLĀH:
وَٱعۡبُدۡ رَبَّكَ حَتَّىٰ یَأۡتِیَكَ ٱلۡیَقِینُ
And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (i.e., death).

PART 7⃣: QURAYSH’S FANATICISM TOWARDS THE PROPHET ﷺ
1⃣ The Quraysh’s love for the Prophet ﷺ was replaced by hatred, their closeness to him was replaced by distance, his truthfulness became lies, and his actions were ridiculed.
2⃣ This change occurred since he called them to worship ALLĀH alone, criticized their idols, and refer to everyone who worshipped them as misguided.
3⃣ They went to his uncle (Abū Tālib) and asked him to stop the Prophet ﷺ from insulting their idols and proclaiming their ancestors as misguided.
4⃣ His uncle responded to them in a beautiful manner, while the Prophet ﷺ continued to spread the religion and uphold the word of truth.

ALLĀH IS THE PROTECTOR OF THE RIGHTEOUS
ALLĀH said,
Verily, my protector is ALLĀH Who has revealed the Book (the Qur'an), and HE protects the righteous.
ALLAH'S support is sufficient and HE will suffice for me, HE is My supporter, I trust in HIM and take refuge with HIM. HE is my protector, in this life and the Hereafter, and the protector of every righteous believer after me.
Similarly, the people of Hud said,
"All that we say is that some of our gods have seized you with evil (madness)."
Hud replied: "I call ALLĀH to witness, and bear you witness that I am free from that which you ascribe (as partners in worship, with HIM (ALLĀH)). So plot against me, all of you, and give me no respite. I put my trust in ALLĀH, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but HE has the grasp of its forelock. THE PROHIBITION OF KHAMR (ALCOHOLIC DRINK) AND GAMBLING
ALLĀH says:
They ask you concerning alcoholic drink and gambling.
That is, the believers ask you - O Messenger ﷺ - about the rulings on intoxicants and gambling. These were common practices during the jahiliyah and when Islam first came. It was as if there was some uncertainty about them, hence they asked about the rulings on them. So ALLĀH commanded His Prophet ﷺ to explain to them the benefits and harms that they entailed. This was a precursor to the prohibition on them, which was inevitable.
Say: In them is great sin, and some benefit for people, but the sin is greater than the benefit.
ALLĀH tells us that the sin and harm that result from them, such as loss of reason and wealth, preventing people from remembering ALLĀH and praying, and the enmity and hostility that they may create are greater than the benefits that people think come, from them, such as making money by dealing in intoxicants and what they gain from gambling, and the pleasures they get when indulging in them. This statement is aimed at deterring people from them, because the wise person will try to attain that which is clearly of benefit and will seek to avoid that which does more harm than good.
But because they were so used to them, it was difficult to make them give them up all at once. Hence this verse came as a precursor to the prohibition which is mentioned in the verse in which ALLĀH says:
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡخَمۡرُ وَٱلۡمَیۡسِرُ وَٱلۡأَنصَابُ وَٱلۡأَزۡلَـٰمُ رِجۡسࣱ مِّنۡ عَمَلِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ فَٱجۡتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ
O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, ˹sacrificing on˺ stone alters ˹to other than ALLĀH˺, and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful. {Surah Al-Māʾidah: 90}
This is by the kindness, mercy and wisdom of ALLĀH. Hence when this verse was revealed, ‘Umar said, “We have given them up, we have given them up.”
With regard to khamr (alcoholic drink), this word refers to any intoxicant that affects the mind, no matter what kind of substance it is. Gambling refers to any contest in which one of the two sides pays the other, such as dice games and chess, or any verbal or physical contest in which prizes are awarded, apart from horse and camel races and archery. These types of contests are permissible, because they help with jihad; hence the Lawgiver granted a concession allowing them.

SUCCESS COMES FROM ALLĀH ALONE
ALLĀH said:
And my success comes only through ALLĀH.
That is, whatever I succeed in of doing good and whatever I manage to keep away from of evil is only by the help of ALLĀH and not by my own strength and power.
In HIM I put my trust
That is, I rely on HIM in all my affairs and I am certain that HE will suffice me.
And to HIM I turn.
In doing what HE has enjoined upon me of various acts of worship, and in growing close to HIM by means of all kinds of good deeds.
Based on these two things, a person’s well-being will be sound: seeking the help of his Lord and turning to HIM.

ADHERING TO TAWHĪD UNTIL DEATH
ALLĀH said,
(Yaqub saying to his sons) "O my sons! ALLĀH has chosen for you the (true) religion, then die not except as Muslims."
Meaning, perform righteous deeds during your lifetime and remain on this path, so that ALLĀH will endow you with the favor of dying upon it.
Usually, one dies upon the path that he lived on and is resurrected according to what he died on. ALLĀH, the Most Generous, helps those who seek to do good deeds to remain on the righteous path.
This by no means contradicts the authentic Hadith that says,
Man might perform the works of the people of Paradise until only a span of outstretched arms or a cubit separates him from it, then the Book (destiny) takes precedence, and he performs the works of the people of the Fire and thus enters it.
Also, man might perform the works of the people of the Fire until only a span of outstretched arms or a cubit separates him from the Fire, but the Book takes precedence and he performs the works of the people of Paradise and thus enters it.
ALLĀH said:

But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient. And belies Al-Husna (none has the right to be worshipped except ALLĀH). WE will make smooth for him the path for evil.

Men whom neither commerce nor sale distracts from the remembrance of ALLĀH and performance of prayer and giving of zakah. They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will tremble.
That ALLĀH may reward them according to the best of their deeds, and add even more for them out of His Grace. And ALLĀH provides without measure to whom HE wills.
As for the disbelievers, their deeds are like a mirage in a desert, which the thirsty perceive as water, but when he approach it, he find it to be nothing. Instead, he find ALLĀH there ˹in the Hereafter, ready˺ to settle his account. And ALLĀH is swift in reckoning.
{An-Nur: Verse 37-39}
MAKE THE QUR'AN YOUR COMPANION NOT JUST FOR RAMADĀN
The main purpose of the Qur'an is to be a source of guidance for mankind, leading those who cling to it from darkness into light, from misery to happiness and raising them from lowliness to a lofty station.
The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said: "Verily, ALLĀH raises the status of people by this book, and by it he humbles others." {Muslim #817}
However, another important feature of the Qur'an is that its recitation is in itself a form of worship. In fact the Qur'an is defined as being the (uncreated) word of ALLĀH, sent down to Muhammad ﷺ the recitation of which is a form of worship, a unique definition that can be applied to no other book, writing or statement.
The Prophet ﷺ himself strongly urged his companions to recite as much of the Qur'an as possible. He ﷺ said:
"Whoever recites a letter from the Book of ALLĀH, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter." {al-Tirmidhi #2910}
Indeed the virtues and blessings of reciting the Book of ALLĀH are many. And by way of encouragement to all of us to spend time reciting and reflecting upon the Qur'an, some of these virtues are listed below.
1⃣. It Will Come As An Intercessor On The Day Of Resurrection.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Recite the Qur'an, for verily on the Day of Resurrection it will act as an intercessor for those who recite it." {Muslim #1757}
On the day when neither our family nor our wealth will be of any benefit to us, this Qur'an will beseech ALLĀH on behalf of those who recite it frequently. ALLĀH will give it a speech and ALLĀH is able to do all things – and it will say to ALLĀH: "I prevented him from sleep at night, so accept my intercession for him" {Musnad Ahmad #6626}
And its intercession will be accepted.
2⃣. Tranquility Descends.
Al Baraa reported that a man was reciting Suratul-Kahf and there was a horse tied with two ropes at his side, when a cloud overshadowed him. As it began to come nearer and nearer his horse began to take fright from it. He went and mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ in the morning, who said: "It was tranquility [as-Sakeenah] which came down at the recitation of the Qur'an" {al-Bukhari #531}
This shows us that the tranquility and the calmness which results from the recitation of the Qur'an is not something abstract, but something very real which permeated the whole atmosphere so that even the animals can imbibe it. This ‘Sakeenah‘ (tranquility) which descends upon the reciter is accompanied by Angels who assemble to listen to the Qur’an.
3⃣. It Will Be A Shade On The Day Of Resurrection.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Recite the two bright ones, Surah al-Baqarah and Surah Aal-e lmraan, for on the day of Resurrection they will come as two clouds, or two shades or two flocks of birds in ranks, pleading for those who recite them." {Al-Tirmidhi #2883}
On a day about which the Prophet ﷺ said: "The sun will be lowered on the Day of Resurrection to the distance of a mile and its heat will be increased by as much. It will boil skulls just like the boiling of pots." {Musnad Ahmad #22186}
We seek refuge in ALLĀH from the terrors of this awful Day.
So these are just some of the blessings awaiting those who recite the Qur'an as it should be recited, bringing with them a receptive heart.
No person can afford to remain ignorant or neglectful of the Qur'an. Reading it regularly, sincerely not ritualistically, to derive guidance from it and adopt the company of those who make mention of it in their gatherings. Make the Qur’aan your constant companion, not just for Ramadān, but for life.
@alBaseeroh
And the Trumpet will be blown, and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth will fall dead except whom ALLĀH wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on (waiting).
And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record ˹of deeds˺ will be placed, and the Prophets and the witnesses will be brought forward, and it will be judged between them in truth. None will be wronged.
And each person will be paid in full of what he did; and HE is most knowing of what they do.
{Az-Zumar: Verse 68-70}
REWARD OF THE BLESSED ONES
ALLĀH says;
For those who have responded to their Lord
That is, whose hearts submit to knowledge and faith, and they comply physically with the commands and prohibitions, thus becoming in harmony with what their Lord wants from them.
is the best reward
That is, they will be in the best state and will have a great reward.
For they have the best attributes and traits, and they will have of reward in this world and the hereafter that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor has it ever crossed the mind of man.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
KNOWING THE KEYS TO GOODNESS AND EVIL
Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said:
‘ALLĀH Subhanahu has placed keys for everything that is necessary, and they open the way, so ALLĀH made purification the key for prayer, as the Messenger ﷺ said: "The key to prayer is purification." {Saheeh al-Jamia as-Sagheer #5885}.
Likewise
Ihram is the key to Hajj,
Truthfulness is the key to righteousness,
Tawheed is the key to Paradise,
Asking good questions and being attentive is the key to knowledge,
Patience is the key to victory and triumph,
Gratitude is the key to increase of provision,
Remembrance of ALLĀH is the key to having loyalty to ALLĀH and HIS love,
Taqwa (piety) is the key to success,
Pondering upon the Qur’aan, and imploring ALLĀH before dawn and not sinning is the key to giving the heart life,
Being kind to the worshippers of the Creator and striving to benefit HIS worshippers is the key to obtaining mercy,
Striving to seek forgiveness from ALLĀH and Taqwa (piety) is the key to Rizq (provisions),
Obedience to ALLĀH and HIS Messenger ﷺ is the key to honour,
Longing for the Hereafter is the key to being prepared for the Hereafter,
Fervent desire for ALLĀH and the Hereafter is the key to all goodness,
Love for the world, continuously longing for it and turning away from the Hereafter is the key to all evil.
This is a great matter from the most beneficial chapters of knowledge, namely knowing the keys to goodness and evil.’

3⃣ His uncle responded to them: "How terrible is what you ask for! You want to give me your son to raise him, and you ask for my son so you can kill him?"
4⃣ They returned disappointed, and the Prophet ﷺ continued to spread Islam while his uncle defended him.

HAPPINESS, MISERY AND SIGNS OF THEIR PEOPLE
Some of the signs of happiness and success are that whenever the servant's knowledge has been increased he would be more humble and more merciful. Whenever he becomes more knowledgeable, he would fear ALLAAH ﷻ more and be more cautious. Whenever he gets older, he would be less greedy. Whenever he becomes wealthier, he would be more generous. Whenever he becomes more important, he would be closer to people, and be more and more at their service.
The signs of misfortune are that when the servant becomes more knowledgeable, he would be more arrogant. Whenever he performs more deeds, he would be more boastful, disdain people, and have a very good opinion of himself. When he gets older, he would be greedier. Whenever he becomes wealthier, he would be stingier and whenever he becomes more important, he would be more conceited.
All of these things are trials from ALLĀH and a test by which HE tests HIS servants, and because of them, some people attain happiness and others become miserable.
Similarly, some things people honor and admire are also trials like possessions, authority, and wealth. ALLĀH says about HIS prophet, Sulaymān, when he saw the throne of Bilqees in front of
him:
This is from the favor of My Lord to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful. {An-Naml: Verse 40}
So, blessings are tests from ALLĀH that make apparent the gratitude of the grateful, and the ingratitude of the ungrateful. In the same way, hardhips are also trials from HIM. HE tests by way of blessings and hardships.
ALLĀH says:
And as for man, when his Lord tests him and is generous to him and favors him, he says, “My Lord has honored me!” But when HE tests him and restricts his provision, he says, “My Lord has humiliated me!” {Al-Fajr: Verse 15-16}
In other words, it’s not the case that everyone I increase with honor and blessings, that’s MY way of honoring him. And everyone I tighten his sustenance and test him, it’s not necessarily that I’m humiliating him.

SUMMARY OF SĪRAH
SECTION 2⃣
PART 8⃣: THE RETURN OF QURAYSH TO ABŪ TĀLIB FOR THE SECOND TIME
1⃣ When Quraysh saw the Prophet ﷺ persisting in spreading his message, and his uncle’s defense of him, they went to his uncle once again.
2⃣ They said to him: "We cannot tolerate the insults to our fathers, the mockery of our intelligence, and the criticism of our gods. Either you stop your nephew, or you allow us to stop him."
3⃣ Abū Tālib pleaded with him ﷺ and asked him to stop, fearing the wrath of Quraysh upon him. But the Prophet ﷺ refused.
4⃣ He ﷺ said¹: "By ALLĀH! I will not abandon this matter until ALLĀH makes it prevail or I perish because of it."
5⃣ His uncle told him: "Go and say what you wish, for I will never hand you over to them."
¹ "By ALLĀH! O uncle, even if they were to place the sun in my right hand and the moon in my left hand in exchange for abandoning this matter, I would not do so until ALLĀH makes it prevail or I perish because of it."

It is not ˹possible˺ for this Qur'an to have been produced by anyone other than ALLĀH. In fact, it is a confirmation of what came before, and an explanation of the Scripture. It is, without a doubt, from the Lord of all worlds.
Or do they claim: "He has forged it!"? Tell them ˹O Prophet˺, "Produce one surah like it then, and seek help from whoever you can—other than ALLĀH—if what you say is true!"
Rather, they ˹hastily˺ belied the knowledge whereof they could not comprehend and what has not yet been fulfilled. Similarly, those before them were in denial. Then see what was the end of the wrongdoers!
{Yūnus: Verse 37-39}
FASTING AL-AYYAM AL-BEED (THE WHITE DAYS) AND SIX FASTS OF SHAWWĀL
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever fasts Ramadān and follows it with six days of Shawwāl, it will be as if he fasted for a lifetime." {Muslim}
The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said: "Fasting three days of each month is equivalent to fasting for a lifetime. The days of al-beed (white days) are the 13th, 14th & 15th." {Sunan an-Nasai}
Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbali (may ALLĀH have mercy on him) said: "If two acts of worship of the same type are to be done at the same time, neither of which is being done by way of making up something that has been missed, and neither is connected to the other and is to be done at the same time, then their intentions may overlap, and one action may be done to cover both of them." {Qawa`id Ibn Rajab}

ALLĀH'S KNOWLEDGE ENCOMPASSES THE SERVANTS' AFFAIRS
ALLĀH says:
And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.
means, HE witnesses and sees all things.
It was recorded that Imam Ahmad, may ALLĀH have mercy upon him, used to recite the following two lines of verse, whether they were written by him or someone else:
"If you are alone one day, do not say, I am alone.' Rather say, Someone is watching me.'
Do not think that ALLĀH will let HIS attention wander for even an instant, or that anything is hidden from HIM."
{Tafsir Ibn Kathīr}
