ALLĀH IS THE PROTECTOR OF THE RIGHTEOUS
ALLĀH said,
Verily, my protector is ALLĀH Who has revealed the Book (the Qur'an), and HE protects the righteous.
ALLAH'S support is sufficient and HE will suffice for me, HE is My supporter, I trust in HIM and take refuge with HIM. HE is my protector, in this life and the Hereafter, and the protector of every righteous believer after me.
Similarly, the people of Hud said,
"All that we say is that some of our gods have seized you with evil (madness)."
Hud replied: "I call ALLĀH to witness, and bear you witness that I am free from that which you ascribe (as partners in worship, with HIM (ALLĀH)). So plot against me, all of you, and give me no respite. I put my trust in ALLĀH, my Lord and your Lord! There is not a moving (living) creature but HE has the grasp of its forelock. Verily, my Lord is on a path that is straight. {Hud: Verse 54-56}

ADHERING TO TAWHĪD UNTIL DEATH
ALLĀH said,
(Yaqub saying to his sons) "O my sons! ALLĀH has chosen for you the (true) religion, then die not except as Muslims."
Meaning, perform righteous deeds during your lifetime and remain on this path, so that ALLĀH will endow you with the favor of dying upon it.
Usually, one dies upon the path that he lived on and is resurrected according to what he died on. ALLĀH, the Most Generous, helps those who seek to do good deeds to remain on the righteous path.
This by no means contradicts the authentic Hadith that says,
Man might perform the works of the people of Paradise until only a span of outstretched arms or a cubit separates him from it, then the Book (destiny) takes precedence, and he performs the works of the people of the Fire and thus enters it.
Also, man might perform the works of the people of the Fire until only a span of outstretched arms or a cubit separates him from the Fire, but the Book takes precedence and he performs the works of the people of Paradise and thus enters it.
ALLĀH said:
As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to ALLĀH and fears HIM. And believes in Al-Husna. WE will make smooth for him the path of ease (goodness).
But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient. And belies Al-Husna (none has the right to be worshipped except ALLĀH). WE will make smooth for him the path for evil.

HOW CAN YOU LIVE BY THE NAME AL-QARĪB
1⃣ In Salah, connect with Al-Qarīb, acknowledging HIS proximity by HIS knowledge. Share worries, seek help, express gratitude, transform concerns into supplications, and be certain of a response. ALLĀH mentioned: Indeed, my Lord is near and responsive. {Hud: Verse 61}
2⃣ Heed the call of Al-Qarīb.
When MY servants ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about ME: I am truly near. I respond to one’s prayer when they call upon ME. So let them respond ˹with obedience˺ to ME and believe in ME that they may be ˹rightly˺ guided. {Al-Baqarah: 186}
So not only let this Name inspire you to ask HIM, but also by following HIS commands, avoiding HIS prohibitions, and sticking to the guidance found in the Quran and Sunnah.
3⃣ Be cautious of your words and actions in all aspects of life, recognizing that Al-Qarīb is closer to you than your jugular vein. Feel comforted by HIS proximity, but also be ashamed of any wrongdoing, knowing HE is intimately close to you by HIS knowledge and listening. Al-Qarīb uses HIS attribute of closeness together with HIS attribute of hearing when HE said: Say, If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, HE is Hearing and near. [Fātir: Verse 50]
4⃣ Aspire to be among those near to the Prophet ﷺ in Paradise. Strive for this elevated status by prostrating frequently in prayer, following his Sunnah, and ALLĀH to grant you his companionship. Rabi’ah ibn Ka’b said I spent the night with the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ and I brought him water for his ablution and his needs. The Prophet ﷺ said to me, “Ask.” I said, “I ask for your companionship in Paradise.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “And anything else besides that?” I said, “That is all.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “Then help me do it for you by prostrating often.” {Muslim 489}

QUALITIES OF THE RIGHTEOUS WIFE
The woman’s role is to obey her Lord and obey her husband. Hence ALLĀH says:
So righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in the husband's absence, what ALLĀH orders them to guard.
That is, they obey their husbands even in their absence; the wife guards her husband with regard to herself and his wealth. That is because ALLĀH has enjoined upon them to guard themselves, and HE has guided them to that; they could not do it without HIS help, because the human soul is inclined to evil. But whoever puts his trust in ALLĀH, HE will suffice him and take care of everything that worries him of his religious and worldly affairs.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said,
"The best women is she who when you look at her, she pleases you, when you command her she obeys you, and when you are absent, she protects her honor and your property."
{An-Nasā'i #3231}
Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf said that the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said,
"If the woman prayed her five daily prayers, fasted her month of Ramaḍān, protected her chastity and obeyed her husband, she will be told, 'Enter Paradise from any of its doors you wish.'"

THE UNENDING DEBT OF FILIAL DUTY
Zu’ah bin Ibrahim said that a man came to ‘Umar (May ALLĀH be pleased with him) and said to him: “I have an old mother who is unable to go answer the call of nature, so I carry her on my back. I also help her perform ablution while turning my face away from her ˹out of respect˺. Have I fulfilled my duty towards her?”
‘Umar (May ALLĀH be pleased with him) said, “No.”
The man said, “Even though I carry her on my back and exert myself in her service?”
‘Umar (May ALLĀH be pleased with him) said, “She used to do the same for you ˹when you were young˺ while hoping that you will live, as for you, you await when she will go away (die).”

STEADFASTNESS UPON THE WORSHIP OF ALLĀH WITH FAMILY GUARANTEES PROVISION
ALLĀH says:
And enjoin the Salah on your family
That is, encourage and urge your family to establish prayer, both obligatory and supererogatory. Enjoining prayer also implicitly enjoins everything without which it cannot be done. Hence this is a command to teach them how to pray, teach them what could invalidate the prayer, and teach them how to pray properly.
and be steadfast in offering them.
That is, remain steadfast in performing the prayer in the proper manner, paying attention to its essential parts, etiquette and focus of mind. If anyone finds that difficult, he should force himself to do it and strive to achieve that, and he should be patient in so doing. If he performs his prayer in the manner enjoined, he will be more careful and observant with regard to other matters of his religion, but if he neglects it, he will be more careless with regard to other matters. Then ALLĀH guarantees provision to HIS Messenger ﷺ so he should not be distracted by thinking of it from carrying out the commands of his religion.
WE do not ask you for provision: WE provide for you
That is, your provision is due from US and WE guarantee it, just as WE guarantee the provision of all creatures, so how about one who complies with OUR commands and focuses on remembering US? The provision of ALLĀH is guaranteed to all, both those who fear HIM and others, so we should focus our attention on that which will bring eternal happiness, which is piety or fear of ALLĀH. Hence ALLĀH says:
And the good end
in this world and the hereafter
Is for those who have Taqwa
Which means doing what is enjoined and refraining from what is prohibited.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
Abu Hurayrah said that the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said,
"ALLĀH, the Exalted, says, 'O son of Adam, perform MY worship and I will fill your chest with wealth and fulfill your needs. If you do not do so, then I will fill your chest with toil and I will not fulfill your needs.'"

EPISODE 🔟 - Al-LATĒF (ٱللَّطِيفُ) - THE SUBTLE
➖➖➖
On the Day of Reckoning, every deed, no matter how small, short-lived, or forgotten, will be brought forth in precise detail. Despite being warned about this, many will be shocked by the accuracy of their accounts. In the Qur'ān, Allāh (ﷻ) is referred to as "Al-Latēf" (The Subtle), emphasizing His knowledge of even the minutest matters and His kindness conveyed in the most discreet ways. Understanding this name can lead to a profound transformation in one's worldview, allowing a new perspective on life events through the lens of Allāh's subtlety.
Various examples from the lives of the Prophets demonstrate how Allāh's plans are often subtle but highly effective. When freeing Prophet Yusuf (عليه سلام) from prison, Allāh used a discreet dream to set off a series of events leading to his release. Similarly, Allāh returned Prophet Musa (عليه السلام) to his mother through a subtle inspiration to reject nursing from other women, and rescued the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) and his tribe from siege through tiny mites that destroyed an agreement. Allāh's subtle workings are also evident in countless personal experiences, such as narrowly avoiding accidents, waking up for prayers at the right time, or receiving timely reminders that deter one from sin.
Acknowledging the subtlety of Allāh's kindness in the form of good deeds and His warning in the form of guilt and regret for sins can lead to a deeper love and trust in His plans. Reflecting on how every event, whether big or small, is intricately connected to Allāh's grand design, believers can find peace with His decrees. When facing challenges or discomforts, remembering that Allāh's plans are beyond human comprehension can help us accept and embrace life's journey with gratitude and contentment.
The story of Prophet Yusuf (عليه سلام) serves as a powerful example of Allāh's wisdom in orchestrating events. Though seemingly difficult or undesirable, each phase of his life served to prepare him for a higher purpose. Events that appeared unfavorable in human eyes ultimately led to Prophet Yusuf's position of authority and his ability to help his family and nation during times of need.
In the face of life's uncertainties, humans often attempt to edit the script, wishing to change unfavorable events. However, trusting Allāh's wisdom and subtlety allows believers to recognize that what seems challenging or unwanted may be part of a greater plan leading to ultimate growth and benefit. Like Prophet Yusuf, who saw the wisdom in every phase of his life, believers should find solace in Allāh's plans and understand that hardships are opportunities for growth and preparation.
Allāh's subtlety can be observed in the beauty and perfection of creation, from the changing seasons to the growth of a child. Even the smallest details in life are the work of Allāh, demonstrating His care and guidance. Believers should constantly be aware of His signs and show gratitude for the countless blessings they receive every day.
Placing one's burdens at the doorstep of Allāh through heartfelt prayers is the path to peace and trust. Recognizing that human minds are limited and unable to fully comprehend Allah's wisdom should inspire reliance on His guidance and mercy. Through the use of the name "Al-Latif" in dua, believers express their understanding of Allāh's subtlety and trust in His plans, leaving their worries in His capable hands.
In conclusion, embracing the subtlety of Allāh's wisdom leads to a profound journey of trust and peace. Recognizing His care in even the smallest matters and His guidance in every event of life allows believers to accept and cherish their life's journey. Surrendering to Allāh's plans, with the belief that He knows what is best for each individual brings peace and contentment amidst life's uncertainties. By using the name "Al-Latif" in dua, believers express their understanding of Allāh's subtlety and their trust in His infinite wisdom.

EPISODE 9⃣ - AL-KHALIQ (الخالق) - THE CREATOR
➖➖➖
Most people recognize that a meaningful page of text cannot be produced by random ink spills on paper; it requires an intelligent author. Similarly, the universe, with its signs of design, deserves acknowledgment from an intelligent creator. Allāh says:
(Interpretation of the meaning)
do they not look into the Dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that which Allāh has created
[Al-A''raf 7:185]
Despite the growing evidence of design, the scientific community often dismisses the concept of a Creator, clinging to the idea of randomness. However, the increasing number of specific conditions necessary for life to exist in the universe challenges the likelihood of life elsewhere.
Initially, scientists believed a planet needed only a suitable parent star and a specific distance from it to support life. However, the necessary conditions have grown to more than 200, making the chances of finding life as we know it increasingly rare. For example, the planet must be part of a spiral galaxy, have suitable orbits, possess an ozone layer, and feature the right ocean-to-continent ratio, among other factors. Dr. John Lennox, a mathematics professor, suggested that as we understand the universe better, the idea of a Creator gains credibility as the best explanation for our existence.
Even on Earth, the constant evolution of human inventions shows the signatures of the Creator. From the earliest mechanical land vehicles to modern cars and computers, each generation builds upon previous advancements, refining and improving the designs. In contrast, human beings remain unchanged in their intricate design, from the first man to the present day. The complexity of the human body, with its precise systems and functions, reveals the work of Allāh, the Creator.
Consider the journey of a sperm to an egg, the intricate processes of the heart, the brain's vast memory storage capacity, the human retina, the tongue's versatility, and the kidney's miraculous filtration ability. Each of these examples showcases the perfection of Allāh's creation. what can we say other than;
Blessed Be Allāh, the best of all creators.
[Al-Mu'minun 23:14]
Marvelling at Allāh's creation is just the beginning; true understanding requires obedience to the divine manual, the Qur'ān, which offers guidance on every aspect of life.
The Qur'ān instructs believers to maintain family ties, resist forbidden desires, and avoid prohibited financial transactions. When faced with conflicting instructions from others, the Qur'ān should always take precedence.
Recognizing Allāh (ﷻ) as the Maker and the Commander, believers should prioritise His instructions above all else. Just as contacting a manufacturer is essential for dealing with damaged goods, turning to Allāh, the Creator, is the solution for addressing any aspect of life that seems damaged or injured. In embracing the miraculous universe and the Divine Manual, believers find guidance and purpose in their journey through life.
It's common knowledge that the very first step in dealing with a damaged goods is to contact the manufacturer, but sometimes it's not practical, sometimes it's not even possible when there's no address or they're on the other side of the globe for whatever reason. As for your Maker, He's never inaccessible or unavailable, so pinpoint that aspect of your life that you feel is damaged or injured; perhaps it's your unending bachelorhood, your deteriorating health, your gripping anxiety, or your frail Iman. Then, after you've done that, raise your hands to Allāh (ﷻ) and realise that you have just accessed your very Creator.
May Allāh (ﷻ) make us among those whom are truly satisfied with Allāh (ﷻ) as their Creator.

VIRTUE OF GRATITUDE AND BELIEF IN ALLĀH
ALLĀH tells us of the perfect nature of HIS self-sufficiency and the vastness of HIS forbearing, mercy and kindness:
مَّا يَفۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بِعَذَابِكُمۡ إِن شَكَرۡتُمۡ وَءَامَنتُمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ شَاكِرًا عَلِيمًا
What would ALLĀH do with your punishment if you are grateful and believe? And ever is ALLĀH Appreciative and Knowing.
Because ALLĀH is Appreciative and All-Knowing, HE will give those who carry the heavy burden of commitment for HIS sake and persist in doing righteous deeds an immense reward and abundant kindness. Whoever gives up something for the sake of ALLĀH, ALLĀH will give him something better than it.
Furthermore, HE knows how you appear outwardly and what is in your hearts, and HE knows what you do and what it is based on, be it sincerity or the opposite. HE wants you to repent and turn back to HIM, then if you turn to HIM, why should HE punish you? HE does not find any joy in punishing you and HE does not benefit from punishing you; rather the sinner only harms himself, just as the deed of one who is obedient is to his own benefit.
Gratitude is humility in the heart and acknowledgement of ALLĀH’s blessings, utterance of thanks to the Bestower of those blessings, and physical acts of obedience to HIM; it also means not making use of HIS blessings to disobey HIM.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
And indeed WE have created man, and WE know what his self whispers to him, and WE are closer to him than ˹his˺ jugular vein.
When the two receivers (i.e., recording angels) receive, seated on the right and on the left.
Not a word does a person utter except that with him is an observer prepared ˹to record˺.
And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to avoid.
And the Trumpet will be blown. That is the Day ˹you were˺ warned of.
Each soul will come forth with an angel to drive it and another to testify.
˹It will be said˺, "You were totally heedless of this. Now WE have lifted this veil of yours, so Today your sight is sharp!"
{Qāf: Verse 16-22}
HOW CAN YOU LIVE BY THE AL-AZĪZ
1⃣ Find strength in Al-‘Azīz, believing in HIS unbeatable power. Whatever HE wills happens, even if the people will otherwise, and whatever HE wills not to happen won’t, even if the people will it. Seek HIS pleasure alone, persevere with patience, and be grateful.
2⃣ Recognize that your 'izzah (honor) lies in Islam, not in money, power, or looks. Many seek honor elsewhere, but true 'izzah is found in embracing Islam.
ALLĀH said: "Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor ˹through power˺? But indeed, honor belongs to ALLĀH entirely." {An-Nisā: 139}
Seek your honor in this life and the next from Al-'Azīz only, by obeying HIM and following HIS Messenger ﷺ.
3⃣ Utilize the Quran, referred to as "azīz" by ALLĀH, as it represents HIS divine speech: "Indeed, those who deny the Reminder after it has come to them ˹are doomed˺, for it is truly kitābun azīz (a mighty Book). Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it; ˹It is˺ a revelation from the ˹One Who is˺ All-Wise, Praiseworthy." {Fussilat: 41-42}
Pause and contemplate: the Qur'an, being from your Creator, holds everything essential for success in life. Treat it as your manual, not just reading it, but utilizing its guidance actively.
4⃣ Seek protection against the oppression of oppressive leaders with the Power and Might of Al-Azīz. Ibn ‘Abbās (May ALLĀH be pleased with him) said: "When you go to a tyrannical or awesome ruler and fear that he will attack you, repeat the following words three times,
ALLĀH is the Most Great, Mightier than all HIS creation. HE is Mightier than what I fear and dread. I seek refuge in ALLĀH, Who there is none worthy of worship but HIM. HE is the One Who holds the Seven heavens from falling upon the earth except by HIS command. (I seek refuge in YOU ALLĀH) from the evil of YOUR slave (say the person's name), and his helpers, his followers and his supporters from among the jinn and mankind. O ALLĀH, be my support against their evil. Glorious are YOUR praises and mighty is YOUR patronage. Blessed is YOUR Name, there is no true God but YOU.
Allāhu 'Akbar, Allāhu 'a'azzu min khalqihi jamee'an, Allāhu 'a'azzu mimmaa 'akhaafu wa 'ahtharu, 'a'oothu billāhil-lathee laa 'ilāha 'illā Huwa, almumsikis-samaawaatis-sab'i 'an yaqa'na 'alal-'ardhi 'illaa. bi'ithnihi, min sham 'abdika (name of the person), wa junoodihi wa 'atbaa'ihi wa 'ashyaa'ihi, minal-jinni wal'insi, Allāhumma kun lee jaaran min sharrihim, jalla thanaa'uka wa 'azza jaaruka, wa tabaarakasmuka, wa laa 'ilāha ghayruka.
{Bukhari, Al Adab Al Mufrad No. 708}

AVOID COVETING THINGS OTHERS EXCEL IN, AS DECREED BY ALLĀH
ALLĀH says:
And do not crave what ALLĀH has given some of you over others.
ALLĀH instructs the believers that no one should covet that which ALLĀH has given more of to others, whether that is things that it is possible for them to acquire or things that it is not possible for them to acquire. Hence women should not covet the characteristics of men, by means of which men have an advantage over women; the one who is poor or has some imperfections or shortcomings should not merely wish to be like one who is rich or perfect, because that is the very essence of envy, which is to wish for the blessing that Allah bestowed upon someone else to be taken from him and given to you.
Moreover, such wishes are indicative of displeasure with the decree of ALLĀH and being content with laziness and wishful thinking, unaccompanied by any effort or earning. Rather what is praiseworthy is two things: to strive to the best of one’s ability and to do that which will benefit one’s religious and worldly interests, asking ALLĀH for HIS bounty, and not relying on oneself or anyone other than one’s Lord. Hence ALLĀH says:
Rather, ask ALLĀH for HIS bounties.
That is, for everything that has to do with your religious or worldly affairs. Doing so is a sign of wisdom and of being blessed, in contrast to the one who fails to strive or relies on himself, not acknowledging his need of his Lord; or those who do both, in which case they are forsaken and are losers.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
Abu Hurayrah reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said: "There is no envy but in two cases: a man whom ALLĀH has given the Qur'an and he recites it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day, in which case one may say, 'If I were given the same as this man has been given, I would do the same as he is doing.' The other is a man whom ALLĀH has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, in which case one may say, 'If I were given the same as he has been given, I would do the same as he is doing.'"
{Sahih al-Bukhāri, 7528}
THE RELIGIOUS ZEAL OF THE BELIEVER IS FOR THE HEREAFTER
The religious zeal of the believer [for worship] is linked to the Hereafter, for everything in this world encourages him to remember the Hereafter. This is because whoever is occupied with a matter, his endeavours will be dedicated to serve what is of his interest.
Do you not see that if labourers were to enter an inhabited house, each one of them will notice what he is concerned with, i.e. the draper will check out the furniture and attempt to estimate its value, the carpenter will check out the roof, the constructor will check out the walls, and the weaver will check out the woven fabrics.
As for the believer, if he sees darkness he remembers the darkness of the grave, and if he experiences pain he remembers the punishment in the Hereafter, and if he hears a terrifying sound, he remembers the blowing of the horn on the Day of Judgment. If he sees the people asleep, he remembers the dead in the graves, and if he sees delight (pleasure) he remembers Paradise; for his religious zeal is bound to what is in the Hereafter, therefore he is preoccupied from everything else.
The greatest of all that he imagines is that he imagines the eternal bliss of Paradise, and that his dwelling will never cease and he will neither be anxious nor disturbed forever more.
Imagining himself basking in these everlasting pleasures that do not perish, makes him overwhelmed and overjoyed; making the obstacles he finds in the way leading him to Paradise bearable and easy to handle—such as pain, illness, tribulation, the loss a loved one, the attack of death and experiencing anguishes.
Longing to visit the Kab'ah makes the traveller mind not the plentiful sands in the way, and the one who yearns for good health does not mind the bitterness of medicine because such a person knows that the quality of the fruit depends on the quality of the seed, hence he chooses the best of seeds and takes advantage of the fertile season [i.e. his youth] without showing any tepidness.
When the believer imagines entering Hellfire and the punishments therein, his life shows discomfort and his anxiety increases. In both cases, whether he imagines the pleasures of Paradise or the disturbances of Fire, he becomes preoccupied with his Hereafter and so ignores the worldly life and all that it has therein; for either his heart wanders in the wilderness of longing [for Paradise] or is perplexed in the desert of fear [from the Fire], hence he cannot notice the pleasures of this worldly life.
When death is about to befall him, he strongly believes he will be saved. All the while continuing to hope for salvation for himself, therefore the agony of death eases upon him, when he is placed into his grave and the Angels come to ask him, the Angels would say to each other: ‘leave him, for he has never rested [in his life] except now.’
I ask ALLĀH, Exalted be HE, to endow us with complete heedfulness that encourages us to seek virtues and good deeds, and prevents us from choosing the lowly deeds and profanities; for only ALLĀH guides and facilitates while the rest are of no benefit.

EPISODE 1️⃣2️⃣A - AL-SAMĒÉ AL-BASĒR (البصير السميع) - THE ALL-HEARING THE ALL-SEEING
➖➖➖
Al-Samēé can hear every sound that every creature makes, in every language, in every location, at every decibel, and at every point in time. He hears their cries and whispers, their complaints and thanks, their plotting and conniving, their speech, thoughts, and intents. He hears more than the silence itself. He is also Al-Basēr, the one who sees the minute intricacies of the earth's deepest locations, as well as the details of existence beyond the observable universe and the seven Heavens. He sees the orbits of every planet at the cosmic level and the movement of each electron around every nucleus at the atomic level. He sees water flowing through the branches of every tree, nutrients within every grain of soil, and blood flowing through every vein of every creature.
Subhanallah!
Unlike us, who can't maintain numerous conversations or view multiple events at the same time, Allāh’s vision and hearing are not impaired by two concurrent events. No two simultaneous voices, let alone the trillions that He hears, understands, and reacts to individually around the clock, dull each other's sound. Secrets are revealed to him, private affairs become public, distant matters become close, and the unseen becomes fully plain.
The New York City blackout was a power outage in New York City in 1977. The city went dark, and the power had been off for roughly 24 hours. When they were turned back on, the extent of the destruction became clear. For that brief period while the city was without power, violence erupted, with stores looted, windows smashed, and buildings set ablaze, all because the city had fallen off for a few moments.
I stated this because we all experience similar blackouts on a regular basis, moments of solitude when it appears no one can see us, and this is precisely where many individuals will exploit those blackout periods to do to their Imaan what those New Yorkers did to their city. Be wary of allowing your desires to mislead you, that Allāh cannot see during these times.
There is no matter which you engage in or any portion of Qur'ān which you recite in nor any deed which you do except that We are witness of you when you are doing it, and nothing is hidden from your Lord so much as the weight of an atom on the earth or in the heaven, nor anything that is lesser than that or greater than that except that it is in a clear record.

May Allāh (ﷻ) guide us to understand His religion

SUNNAH PRAYER AFTER JUMU'AH PRAYER
Abdullah bin 'Umar (May ALLĀH be pleased with them) reported: I performed along with the Prophet ﷺ two Rak'ah (Sunnah prayer) after the Jumu'ah prayer.
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Abu Hurairah (May ALLĀH be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said, "If anyone of you performs the Friday prayer, he should perform four Rak'ah (Sunnah) after it.''
[Muslim].
Ibn 'Umar (May ALLĀH be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet ﷺ would not perform any Salat (in the mosque) after the Friday prayer till he had returned to his house. He would then perform two Rak'ah there.
[Muslim].
{Riyadhus-Saliheen: Hadith 1125, 1226 & 1127}
COMMENTARY:
In one Hadith, there is mention of four Rak'ah, while in the other it is mentioned as two Rak'ah. It can be deduced that both of these are acceptable. 'Ulama' are of the opinion that one who performs them in the mosque, should perform four Rak'ah; whereas the one performing them at home, should perform two Rak'ah with one Taslim. It is better to perform them in twos as the Prophet ﷺ is reported to have said, "Perform the Nawafil of the day and night in twos.'' {Al-Bukhari}.

EPISODE 1️⃣1️⃣ - AL-QARIB (القريب) - THE NEAR
➖➖➖
Loneliness is a universal human experience, but when it's compounded by the sting of betrayal, it takes on a new dimension. Have you ever felt abandoned by those who should be closest to you, leaving you yearning for someone to understand your struggles? If you've ever found yourself in this emotional whirlwind, consider redirecting your gaze to a source of solace that surpasses human limitations – the Creator of all, Allāh (ﷻ).
Imagine a reality where time constraints and lack of understanding vanish, replaced by a Being who comprehends you better than you comprehend yourself. Allāh's knowledge of your struggles predates their existence, and His solutions far exceed what you could fathom. Embracing one of Allāh's names as "Al-Qarib," entails recognizing that no one is more intimately connected to you than He is.
Allāh's nearness transcends comprehension. He's both omnipotent, with absolute control over His creation, and omniscient, with complete knowledge of all beings. As you stand on the precipice of life's challenges, remember that Allāh is ever-present, comprehending your every thought, movement, and whisper before they materialize.
The notion of Allāh's nearness is not a mere theological concept; it's a transformative perspective. A unique reciprocity exists between Allāh and those who draw near to Him. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) emphasized this symbiotic relationship, stating that “when a servant draws near to Allāh by an inch, Allāh draws near by a mile.”. The profundity lies in the third scenario: “when a servant approaches Allāh, He accelerates towards them at a pace beyond measure.”
(Riyad As-Saliheen 96)
Consider the common situation of longing for someone's attention. Allāh's attention, however, eclipses all else. He is closer to you than your jugular vein, aware of your most concealed thoughts. Recognizing His ever-watchful gaze should evoke a sense of shyness and mindfulness.
Allāh's benevolence is evident in His accessibility. While high-profile individuals often shy away from providing their contact information due to incessant requests, Allāh encourages us to ask of Him. He's both capable and willing to respond, without the barriers of technology or distance.
Drawing nearer to Allāh(ﷻ) is a simple yet profound journey. No elaborate equipment or technology is required – just a heart humbled in supplication. Allāh's nearness is irrefutably linked to the act of dua, a reminder that our deepest connections with Him are established through earnest communication.
Three practical steps can guide you towards the profound nearness of Allāh: first, embrace the power of sujood (prostration), for it is during this act that you are closest to Him. Second, fulfil your obligations as prescribed by the deen, as Allāh's love is cultivated through the fulfilment of duties. Third, invest in voluntary acts of worship, allowing them to elevate you to a higher plane of closeness.
Picture the night sky, where the darkest hour precedes dawn. Similarly, the darkest moments of your life can herald Allāh's closest proximity. Embrace the tranquility of the night and pour your heart out to Him, for the closest distance between two points is a heartfelt dua.
In the end, the journey towards Allah's nearness offers a refuge from the isolation of betrayal. The Creator's love surpasses the confines of human relationships, His knowledge penetrates the depths of your being, and His power is boundless. As you draw near to Him, remember that He hastens to meet you, closing the gap with a love that knows no bounds.
May Allāh makes us from those who are loved by Him

📹 Heart Soothing Recitation: Surah Al-Isra, Verse 42-52
🎙️Sheikh Yusuf Al-Aidrous
This is one of the clips that I can never get bored of listening to.
Unquestionably, ˹for˺ the allies of ALLĀH there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.
Those who believed and were fearing ALLĀH.
For them are glad tidings in the life of this world and in the hereafter; there can be no change in the words (promises) of ALLĀH. That is the supreme triumph.
And let not their speech grieve you. Surely all honour and power belongs to ALLĀH. HE is the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
{Yunus: Verse 62-65}
HOW CAN YOU LIVE BY THE NAME AL-LATĪF
1⃣ Cultivate love and awe for Al-Latīf due to HIS infinite kindness and complete knowledge, with which HE bestows gifts and favours on you, taking you gently from one situation to another and causing you to benefit without you even knowing it. Embrace patience during challenges, and acknowledge blessings with gratitude. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Amazing is the affair of the believer, verily all of his affairs are good and this is not for no one except the believer. If something of good/happiness befalls him he is grateful and that is good for him. If something of harm befalls him he is patient and that is good for him" {Muslim, 2999}
2⃣ Show kindness and gentleness towards others in gratitude to Al-Latīf. Strive to be a beacon of kindness to those around you.
The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said, "Shall I not tell you upon whom the Hellfire is forbidden tomorrow? It is everyone gentle, lenient, accessible, and easy-going." {Musnad Abī Ya’lá, 1853}
3⃣ Ensure your intentions are pure in every action. Al-Latīf comprehends every detail of your thoughts, desires, and intentions. Reflect on your actions and question whether they are genuinely for ALLĀH or something else before proceeding.
4⃣ Nothing should empower you as much as the fact that your guardian is al-Laṭīf, who knows your every fear, and how to render it as harmless. It suffices to rely on HIM for impeding these fears from reaching you, or commanding “their flames” which engulfed you to be cool and safe, just as HE commanded the flames regarding Ibrahīm (peace be upon him):
قَالُوا۟ حَرِّقُوهُ وَٱنصُرُوۤا۟ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَـٰعِلِینَ
"They said, 'Burn him and support your gods - if you are to act.'
We (i.e., ALLĀH) said, 'O fire, be coolness and safety upon Ibrahīm.'"
{Al-Anbiyāʾ: Verse 68 & 69]
5⃣ Make dua to Al-Latīf, asking HIM to make you content with HIS providence and bless you in HIS decree, such that you would not like to hasten what has been delayed, nor delay what has been hastened.
When Umm Salamah’s (May ALLĀH be pleased with her) husband passed away, she felt happiness was irretrievable after her loss. The Prophet ﷺ counseled her by saying, "No Muslim is afflicted with a calamity, then says as ALLĀH instructed him:
إِنَّا لِلّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُوْنَ، اَللّٰهُمَّ أَجُرْنِيْ فِيْ مُصِيْبَتِيْ، وَأَخْلِفْ لِيْ خَيْرًا مِّنْهَا
Innaa lillaahi wa 'innaa 'ilayhi raaji'oon, Allāhumma'-jurni fee museebatee wa 'akhliflee khayran minhaa.
'We are from ALLĀH and unto HIM we return. O ALLĀH, reward me for my calamity, and grant me better than that ˹which I lost˺'
If he does so, ALLĀH will replace it with something better."
{Muslim, 6918}
She admits that although she said these words, she could not overcome a question that lingered inside her: "Who could possibly be better than Abū Salamah?" But the days would soon unfold and reveal to Umm Salamah that Al-Laṭīf had secured for her the finest husband the sun has ever risen upon: the Prophet ﷺ himself.

GOOD NEWS OF ALLĀH'S DEFENCE FOR THE BELIEVERS
ALLĀH tells:
Indeed, ALLĀH defends those who have believed.
This is a promise and glad tidings from ALLĀH to those who believe, that ALLĀH will ward off from them all hardships and will ward off from them all evil - because of their faith - and HE will protect them from the evil of the disbelievers, the evil of the whispers of the Shaytan, the evil of their own selves and their bad deeds. HE will help them when hardship comes and they are faced with something beyond that which they can bear, and HE will reduce it greatly. Every believer has a share of this defence and the virtue of being defended, commensurate with his faith; some will have a little and some will have a great deal.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
HOW CAN YOU LIVE BY THE NAME AL-KHĀLIQ
1⃣ Seek everything you desire from the One who creates everything, even the smallest matters. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Each of you should ask for his needs from ALLĀH, even if the strap of your sandal breaks, because if ALLĀH does not facilitate it, it will never be possible." [At-Tirmidhī]
No evil eye, magic, or any force on earth can prevent what Al-Khaaliq has destined to come into existence, as exemplified by Firawn's futile attempts to prevent Musa's existence.
2⃣ Do not fear created things; fear only the Creator. Disregard fears of people's opinions, poverty, and failure. Concentrate on pleasing Al-Khaaliq, who will suffice for your needs. "Then is HE who creates like one who does not create? So will you not be reminded?" {An-Nahl: Verse 17}
3⃣ Form a new habit: take at least five minutes each day to sit down, day or night, actively look around you, and reflect on the creations of Al-Khāliq, because reflecting on the universal signs of ALLĀH is ine of the causes for the increase of Eemān. Sheikh As-Sa'dī said: "…and one of the causes and incentives for eemaan is reflecting on the universe; on the creation of the heavens and earth and on the diverse types of creation contained within them; to look at the human himself and the attributes he possesses, for this is a strong incentive for eemaan...
...all of this calls to the glorification of its originator and maker, to gratitude of HIM, to becoming attached to HIS remembrance and having sincerity of religion to HIM alone; this is the spirit and secret of eemaan."
[At-Tawdeeh wa al-Bayaan, page 31}

ASSERTING THE GREATNESS OF THE QUR'AN
ALLĀH the Exalted emphasizes the greatness of the Qur'an, its high status and of being worthy of making hearts humble and rent asunder upon hearing it, because of the true promises and sure threats that it contains,
Had WE sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and splitting from fear of ALLĀH.
If this is the case with a mountain which is hard and huge, that if it was made able to comprehend and understand this Qur'an, will feel humble and crumble from fear of ALLĀH the Exalted, then what about you -- O mankind Why do your hearts not feel softness and humbleness from the fear of ALLĀH, even though you understand ALLAH'S command and comprehend HIS Book.
This is why ALLĀH said (next),
Such are the parables which WE put forward to mankind that they may reflect.
There is a Hadith of the Mutawatir grade that states,
The Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ had someone make him a Minbar. Before that, he used to stand next to a tree trunk in the Masjid to deliver speeches. So, when the Minbar was made and placed in the Masjid, the Prophet ﷺ came to deliver a speech and passed the tree trunk, headed towards the Minbar, the tree trunk started weeping, just like an infant. The tree trunk missed hearing the remembrance of ALLĀH and the revelation that were being recited next to it.
In one of the narrations for this Hadith, Al-Hasan Al-Basri said after narrating the Hadith,
"You - mankind -- are more worthy to miss the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ than the tree trunk!"
{Tafsir Ibn Kathīr}
PROHIBITION OF TALK DURING JUMU'AH KHUTBAH
Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, "If you said to your companion: 'Be quiet and listen' on Friday while the Imām is delivering the sermon, then you would be guilty of idle talk." {al-Bukhari 892, Muslim 851}
Al-Nawawi said, "In this tradition is the prohibition of every kind of talking during the sermon."
{Sharh al-Nawawi ‘ala Sahih Muslim 851}
The Prophet ﷺ also said:
"Whoever performs ablution in an excellent manner, comes to Friday prayer, and listens while remaining quiet, his sins will be forgiven until the next Friday and an additional three days, but whoever fiddles with pebbles has engaged in idle action." {Muslim 857}.
Concerning "whoever fiddles with pebbles has engaged in idle action." An-Nawawi mentioned, "It means prohibition of fiddling with pebbles and the like during the Khutbah, and what is meant by idle action here is what is false, rejected and disliked.
{Sharh al-Nawawi ‘ala Sahih Muslim 857}
THE PROHIBITION INCLUDES:
1⃣ Giving Salam upon entering masjid
2⃣ Responding to Salam
3⃣ Engaging in Dhikr
4⃣ Responding to questions about the religion
5⃣ Saying Yarhamuk-Allāh (may ALLĀH have mercy on you) to one who sneezes.
6⃣ Responding to messages or calls on devices
EXEMPTED FROM THE PROHIBITION:
1⃣ Speaking to Imam due to necessity
2⃣ Responding to the Imam
3⃣ Saying Amin (silently) when the Imam makes Dua
4⃣ Saying (silently) 'Alhamdulillah' when sneezing.
5⃣ Saying (silently) 'Sallallāhu Alayhi wa Sallam' when the Prophet ﷺ is mentioned

EPISODE 8⃣ - AL-AZĒZ (العزيز) - THE MIGHTY
➖➖➖
In the tapestry of life, there exists a profound truth: a single moment of humiliation can eclipse a lifetime of glory. Those who have tasted this bitter brew, whether at the hands of family, spouse, colleague, or even one's own sins, understand that it doesn't please Allāh to see you in this state, because after all your Lord has given Himself the name Al-Azēz which means The Mighty, and you are His favorite creation.
In the grand design of our world, an incomprehensible order weaves through every facet of existence. The sun, the moon, the earth, and other elements dance in perfect harmony, orchestrated by the precise laws of nature. Who but Al-Azēz could command such a cosmic symphony, ensuring not a single note falters?
From the inception of life within the womb to the destiny of each soul, Al-Azēz’s handiwork is evident. He sculpts us according to His will, without the need for a second opinion. As the Qur'ān attests, (there is no deity but Him, the Wise and Mighty.)
In old times, civilizations rose, only to challenge the might of their Creator. The people of Noah defied their prophet, invoking a cataclysmic flood, a testament to the power of Al-Azēz. The mighty people of 'Aad were met with a relentless tempest, and of Thamud crumbled beneath the fury of a ceaseless wind. In the end, they were but remnants, reminders of Al-Azēz’s dominion.
The emblems of His might are etched in every corner of existence, from the boundless heavens to the microscopic DNA. Yet, humanity sometimes strays, allowing sin to create a chasm between them and the Mighty One. This separation births a sorrow that clings, a shame that gnaws at the soul.
True dignity, as exemplified by our heroes, is a product of connection with Allāh Al-Azēz. Abu Bakr's (رضي الله عنه) resolute stance against those who refused to pay zakat, or Sumayya's (رضي الله عنها) unyielding defence of her beliefs, all bear witness to the strength derived from this sacred bond.
Asma, the daughter of Abu Bakr, epitomized this dignity. Her unwavering spirit, even when faced with violence, In her final days, she stood tall, a testament to the enduring power of Al-Azēz.
In the radiant power of Al-Azēz, believers find strength, resilience, and an unwavering sense of self-worth. This belief liberate believers from the shackles of a humiliating captor, it releases him into the mountaintops of izzah, The meadows of an honorable Islamic life. A life with Al-Azēz renders the believer strong even if he is bound to a wheelchair, and rich even if poverty struck, and free even if shackled in chains, and the living legend even if put to the sword.
May Allāh guide us to understand His religion

ALLĀH'S MOST BEAUTIFUL NAMES
ALLĀH says;
ALLĀH has the Most Beautiful Names.
Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Messenger of ALLĀH ﷺ said,
Verily, ALLĀH has ninety-nine Names, a hundred less one; whoever counts (and preserves) them, will enter Paradise. ALLĀH is Witr (One) and loves Al-Witr (the odd numbered things).
The Two Sahihs collected this Hadith.
We should state that ALLAH'S Names are not restricted to only ninety-nine. For instance, in his Musnad, Imam Ahmad recorded that Abdullāh bin Mas`ud said that the Messenger of ALLAH ﷺ said;
"Any person who is overcome by sadness or grief and supplicates,
Allaahumma 'innee 'abduka, ibnu 'abdika, ibnu 'amatika, naasiyatee biyadika, maadhin fiyya hukmuka, 'adlun fiyya qadhaa'uka, 'as'aluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsaka, 'aw 'anzaltahu fee kitaabika, 'aw 'allamtahu 'ahadan min khalqika, 'awista'tharta bihi fee 'ilmil-ghaybi 'indaka, 'an taj'alal-Qur'aana rabee'a qalbee, wa noora sadree, wa jalaa'a huznee, wa thahaaba hammee.
'O ALLĀH! I am YOUR servant, son of YOUR female servant. My forelock is in YOUR Hand. YOUR decision concerning me shall certainly come to pass. Just is YOUR Judgement about me. I invoke YOU by every Name that YOU have and that YOU called YOURSELF by, sent down in YOUR Book, taught to any of YOUR creatures, or kept with YOU in the knowledge of the Unseen that is with You. Make the Glorious Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness and the reliever of my distress.'
Surely, ALLĀH will remove his grief and sadness and exchange them for delight."
The Prophet ﷺ was asked "O Messenger of ALLĀH! Should we learn these words?"
He ﷺ said,
"Yes. It is an obligation on all those who hear this supplication to learn it."
{Tafsir Ibn Kathīr}
So call upon HIM by them
This includes the supplication of worship and the supplication of asking. So HE is to be called upon for everything that is needed, in a manner that is appropriate to the need in question. So the one who calls upon HIM may say, for example: O ALLĀH, forgive me and have mercy on me, for YOU are the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. Accept my repentance, O Accepter of repentance. Grant me provision, O Provider. Show me kindness, O Most Kind - and so on.
{Tafsir As-Sa'di}
