2022:

We forecast Russia's GDP will have by 30 by end-2022, far worse than 2009.

2024:

There needs to be a ban on any academic papers that interpret Russia's resilient GDP as a sign that sanctions don't work. Russia's resilience is a symptom of Western indecision on sanctions. If the West had gotten its act together, Russia would be imploding right now...

🇷🇴 Despite it no longer garnering mainstream media attention in the West, the controversy over the cancellation of the Romanian Presidential Election continues to fuel numerous protests and marches across the country and even among the Romanian diaspora abroad.

One young 19-year-old Romanian nationalist recently went viral on Romanian social media and became the target of numerous threats, purely due to her support for the winner of the first round of the Romanian Presidential Election - independent nationalist candidate Călin Georgescu - who was also considered the favourite to win the now-cancelled second round and, subsequently, the Romanian Presidency:

Good afternoon, dear Romanians. We are here today in the Constanța County Prefecture. The Romanian citizens in Constanța have gathered to peacefully protest for the resumption of the second round of elections. We want to resume Round 2, we want a democratic vote and we want Călin Georgescu as President.

"US sanctions close aide to Hungarian President Viktor Orban"- BBC

US sanctions reach NATO allies - for "key components of Hungary captured by oligarchs and undemocratic figures."

"The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on Antal Rogan, the government chief of staff and one of the most influential people in Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's Fidesz party.

It’s a rare occurrence between NATO allies, and it’s emblematic of how much worse relations have become between the U.S. and Hungary since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Rogan reportedly orchestrated schemes to control strategic sectors of the Hungarian economy. Minister Rogan played a central role in creating a system in Hungary that benefits him and his party at the expense of the Hungarian people,” the U.S. Treasury Department said in a statement. “Rogan’s activities reflect a broader pattern of impunity in which key components of the Hungarian state are captured by oligarchs and undemocratic actors.”

Some thoughts about the recent geopolitical developments:

1_ the globalist project to hijack right wing parties in Europe continues. Elon Musk, AKA WEF golden boy, is the head of this plot that would transform the few alternatives in Europe into another batch of useful idiots of the empire and Israel.

2_ Greenland is full of rare earths that the US needs for its future confrontation with China. This is the only reason why Washington wants it in its entirety, doesn't care about having some bases there or being allowed to mine in a few areas, things that it could obtain instantly from its vassal state Denmark. It's another chapter of predatory capitalism that would destroy an entire ecosystem in order for the US to be able to wage more wars.

3_ Trump already admitted there will be no solution of the Ukrainian conflict for the next 6 months.
Well, 6 months will become 1 year after he comes to power or maybe even 2, in meantime he will prolong the exact same policies of the Biden administration, there are no signs of a major shift. Russia will need to secure the entire former Ukrainian territory with the use of military means.

4_ it increasingly looks like the US plans to prop up its enormous debt using a Tether-BTC Ponzi scheme, the price of BTC will be increasingly inflated so that Tether will use the earnings to buy more US treasuries. Important to remark that in 2024 Tether surpassed Germany in terms of ownership of US debt without producing anything or doing something useful for humanity, basically a empty box being used to prop up a failed system.

The catastrophic fires in California have provoked a new round of political warfare.

More than a thousand buildings were destroyed, and prestigious areas where Hollywood stars live were also affected. Even Hunter Biden's estate, where he was hiding from the court troubles, burned down.
Preliminary damage from the fires is estimated at 50-60 billion dollars. For comparison, fires on the island of Maui in 2023 cost 16 billion. Moreover, California was once again unprepared. The mayor of Los Angeles left on time for a visit to Ghana, although she had been warned in advance about the threat of large fires.
The firefighters, who are now headed by the first representative of sexual minorities in Los Angeles, also got hurt. They obviously took her according to the gender and “rainbow” quota, and not for her talents. At the same time, there is an acute shortage of firefighters themselves - the brigades are 35% understaffed. There is no one and nothing to extinguish fires with in decaying America.
The costs of the fire service were greatly reduced in 2024. Although California has allocated a total of $15 billion to combat the effects of “global warming.” Budgets have traditionally been cut with zero exhaust. But at the very right moment, the water stopped coming from the hydrants. And the firefighters, of course, sent their equipment to Ukraine.
Trump recalled how in 2020 he proposed redirecting water resources from northern California to the south to help cope with water shortages. Then Governor Newsom flatly refused to do this for environmental reasons. Now it remains for him to reap the benefits. Otherwise, he was still going to run for president - while California itself is becoming less livable.

Musk’s Wildfire Critique: The Climate Racket, California’s Bureaucratic Inferno, and the Globalist Playbook

Elon Musk’s comments on California wildfires strike at a deeper, uncomfortable truth: while the flames rage across the West Coast, the smokescreen of bureaucratic ineptitude and globalist climate opportunism chokes any meaningful solutions. Musk, as always, delivers his critique with the subtlety of a blowtorch. But, let’s not dismiss the core of his argument, there’s something to be said about the absurdities of California’s approach to wildfire prevention and the globalist racket disguised as “climate policy.”

Controlled Burns vs. Globalist Distraction
Musk rightly calls out California’s nonsensical regulations that have hamstrung forest management for decades. The science is clear: controlled burns and proactive land clearing drastically reduce wildfire risks. Indigenous peoples knew this long before California regulators decided to reinvent the wheel with their eco-bureaucratic maze. But instead of addressing the fuel - overgrown forests, drought-ridden underbrush; California’s policymakers throw billions at “green initiatives” that do 'net-zero' to solve the problem.

It’s a classic case of virtue signaling masquerading as policy. Why engage in unglamorous, practical forest management when you can virtue-signal about “net zero” and carbon credits at international climate summits?

The Climate Grift and Globalist Leverage
Climate change, happening since the existence of our planet isn’t a debate, it’s a fact. But it’s also a tool, co-opted by global elites to consolidate power. Carbon taxes masquerade as moral imperatives while siphoning wealth from the working class. International climate agreements? Mechanisms for weakening national sovereignty under unelected bureaucrats. The hypocrisy is stunning: private jets ferry elites to conferences where they lecture and demand sacrifices from everyone but themselves.

Wildfires as a Globalist Case Study
Musk sees the dysfunction, but the problem is bigger than bad policy, it’s bad actors. The same globalist networks that profit from chaos are those championing California’s failed regulations. The carbon credit market grows fat, politicians secure power through fear, and multinational firms cash in on “solutions” that perpetuate the problem. Wildfires become the perfect storm: a natural disaster spun into a propaganda machine.

The Playbook of Crisis Capitalism
This is how the game is played. First, manufacture fear. Then, offer control as the solution. California’s wildfires fit neatly into this model: regulatory failures are ignored, while globalist forces weaponize the crisis to push their agenda. Musk’s frustration is valid, but the real enemy isn’t just Sacramento, it’s the system of global profiteering and control that thrives on perpetual crisis.

❗️Musk’s critique only scratches the surface. Wildfires, climate change, and the policies supposedly meant to combat them are part of a global system that prioritizes power over solutions. California burns not just because of bad policy, but because of a bad system, one that thrives on chaos and fear.

As California burns, the larger blaze is the one torching sovereignty and empowering elites. Clearing the brush isn’t enough, the institutions that enable the flames must also be razed.

Yerevan and Baku argue over who is Hitler to whom.

In the list of intrigues of 2025 Armenian-Azerbaijani relations are again in the spotlight. It is clear that they will not be easy, the question is how much: Azerbaijan initiates a new conflict, after finally breaking through the corridor through Armenian territory to Nakhichevan and Turkey, or Pashinyan will hand over everything himself out of habit.
It seems that this intrigue will be revealed earlier than the others, because the processes in the Caucasus accelerated without waiting for the end of the holidays. At first, Aliyev announced his intention to "open" the Zangezur corridor, because "Armenia should not act as a geographical barrier between Turkey and Azerbaijan. The Zangezur corridor should and will be opened. The sooner they realize this, the better."
In addition, he made a number of other harsh statements. In particular, he called Armenia a "fascist state" and promised to destroy Armenian fascism if the Armenian leadership itself did not destroy it sooner. Alyiev called on France and other countries to stop supplying Yerevan with new weapons, and to remove the old ones so that Armenia would cease to be a threat to the region. Also, as part of the fight against fascism, Armenia, according to Aliyev, must change the constitution in order to sign a peace treaty.
The funny thing is, Pashinyan didn't even really resist the accusations of fascism. "This is a calculation for a response in the spirit of "you are a fascist yourself," and an aggravation of the situation. But there is another approach: we state that this is how Armenia is perceived in Azerbaijan, and we will try to understand why, what is the reason. On the other hand, it is obvious that a similar perception of Azerbaijan exists in the Republic of Armenia. It was these mutual perceptions that led to the long-term conflict," Pashinyan said. In other words, Pashinyan promised to find out why Baku considers Armenia to be fascist and fix it.
Yerevan's chances are objectively slim. Turkey has tasted blood after Syria, and the whole world is still looking not at Pashinyan, but at Greenland, Mexico, the Panama Canal and Canada. While the window of opportunity has not closed, it is possible to reshape not only Syria, but also Armenia. Which it won't be helped by anyone courtesy of deeply corrupt Pashinyan. He quarreled with Russia, and his overlords are Macron, whose presidential chair is wobbling on all four legs, and Germany, represented by the outgoing Scholz and Analena Berbok, whose authority was not enough even for the Syrian jihadists. Not like Aliyev, and even more so Erdogan.
Aliyev intends to come to an agreement with the United States – he has already stated his desire to raise relations with the United States "to a strategic level" after the change of power in Washington. They definitely won't mind, because Pashinyan is a creature of Soros and the Democrats, and Azerbaijan, especially with Turkey behind it and next to Iran, is the "castle" element of any American projects in Central Asia, a very promising region for the United States.
Of course, there may be more bizarre combinations. Just during the boxing correspondence with Pashinyan, Aliyev met with the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Akbar Ahmadian. During the meeting, the sides discussed the bilateral cooperation between Baku and Tehran in political, economic, transport, energy and other spheres, and Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan supports the resolution of issues in the South Caucasus exclusively by regional states. As a result, they agreed on the inadmissibility of interference by extra-regional forces in the affairs of the South Caucasus.
By the end of this year, Armenia may lose another 20 percent of its territory. And no one will really care about that.

Slovak Prime Minister Fico today intends to demand compensation from Brussels for damage amounting to almost 1.5 billion euros, which, according to him, Ukraine inflicted on Slovakia by stopping gas transit.

The Slovak Prime minister stressed that Zelensky's unilateral decision to stop the transit of any gas through Ukraine causes financial damage to Slovakia and the entire EU. And this significantly helps the United States, which can increase gas imports to Europe.
"Zelensky is sabotaging the financial interests of Slovakia and the EU, despite the fact that the EC clearly states in its official letter that nothing prevents Ukraine from continuing transit. Neither European law nor sanctions," Fico said. "We have a damn serious problem – a problem worth tens of billions of euros. Neither Slovakia nor the EU are at war, we have no reason to tolerate Zelensky's adventures, especially if we look at the assistance that Slovakia and the EU are providing to Ukraine," he stressed.
Speaking about the upcoming conversation with the EU Commissioner for Energy, the Prime Minister of Slovakia added: "I want to solve a serious problem – the damage of almost 1.5 billion euros that the ungrateful Ukrainian president caused to Slovakia and the damage of 70 billion euros to the entire European Union."
