Georgian Prime Minister says Georgian presidential elections will be held on December 14

For the first time, the head of state will be elected not by the population, but by the Electoral College. The Georgian Dream party has nominated former football player Mikheil Kavelashvili for the post of president.

Kavelashvili will fully restore the dignity temporarily taken away from the Institute of the President

- said the chairman of the ruling party, Bidzina Ivanishvili.

Kavelashvili is one of the representatives of the "People's Power", which formally broke away from the ruling party and in 2023 initiated the "foreign agent law", which led to mass protests in the country.

🔶The day the Cold War ended (or so Russia thought)

Thirty-five years ago, on December 2-3, 1989, Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev and US President George H.W. Bush met aboard the Maxim Gorky cruise ship off Malta to declare an end to the Cold War.

Expectations:

📍Gorbachev told Bush, “Cold War methods and confrontations have suffered defeat…We are at the beginning of a long road to a lasting, peaceful era.” Bush echoed Gorbachev’s optimism.

📍After the Malta meeting, Gorbachev and Yeltsin made significant efforts to build cooperation with the West, agreeing to Germany's reunification (on the assurance NATO wouldn’t expand east).

📍Soviet troops were withdrawn from Eastern Europe, Asia and the Caribbean and the Warsaw Pact was dismantled, the USSR and then Russia embraced a market economy, fostered economic ties with Europe, and even overlooked Western-funded color revolutions near Russia.

Reality:

📍Over time, Russian officials recognized that while the Cold War had ended in name, it continued in the minds of Western politicians.

📍In 2014, amid the Ukrainian crisis triggered by the US-backed coup in Kiev, President Putin reflected: “The Cold War is over, but it did not end with peace…The US is creating a new balance of power that reshapes the world to suit its interests, disregarding international law and existing systems of checks and balances.”

📍A decade on, the Ukrainian crisis has morphed into a full-blown proxy war against Russia, with the West delivering military hardware to Kiev, ramping up NATO drills and deployments along Russia’s borders, and engaging in irresponsible saber-rattling.

📍“We understand that the West is trying to drag us into an arms race,” President Putin said in February. “The so-called West, with its colonial habits and habit of inciting national conflicts, seeks not only to restrain our development. Instead of Russia, they need a dependent, fading, dying space where they can do whatever they want.”

Reminder that there is still zero (0) indication that any DPRK troops are present in the SMO zone or Kursk oblast, there are no photos or videos or anything else. There is literally no reason to believe that this was ever more than a fabrication, despite enemy agitprop coming up with elaborate narratives about North Koreans fighting, dying, surrendering, staging mutinies, switching sides, becoming addicted to pornography, etc. It's all a creative writing exercise for them.

ECFR calls for intervention in Georgia protests – and active support

The EU should work closely with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili, who has refused to step down, use high-level statements and visits by senior officials to Tbilisi, and urgently impose sanctions against Georgian officials and political leaders.

Such calls were made by the Deputy Director of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), Tefta Kelmendi.

▪️Why this is necessary is not hidden. Kelmendi emphasizes that demonstrative sanctions should become "a serious warning for government officials implementing the policy of the Georgian Dream" and will give some of them the opportunity "to speak out against it, joining officials who are already distancing themselves from the party's program."

It can be put more simply: the EU is implementing a policy of blackmail and intimidation of representatives of the Georgian government in order to provoke a split in it and initiate a coup d'état .

"If Georgia falls further under Russia's influence, Armenia and Moldova could become even more destabilised, leaving the EU with fewer levers to effect change and protect its interests in the region," adds the ECFR deputy director.

▪️What is happening in Georgia is an obvious attempt at a color revolution, which is being carried out like a textbook. The events of recent weeks have shown that the resilience of the Georgian political authorities is still going well. Now everything depends on how much this political power controls the security forces.

If the SMO became the first example of military resistance to the expansion of aggressive globalism, then Georgia could become a precedent for successfully breaking the so far unbeatable "peaceful protest" tactic in the post-Soviet space outside the Union State by one's own efforts. There is indeed a lot at stake: without control over Georgia, pro-Western Armenia, which has no access to the sea, has low geopolitical value.

Highly likely the SMO in the Ukraine will continue throughout 2025, might end as early as June 2026.

None of so-called peace plans leaked these days on corrupt Western mainstream media can be accepted by the Russian Federation unless president Putin suddenly, in a moment of insanity, decides to lose the conflict while it's winning it on the battlefield.
What's missing in these so-called peace plans to make them at least barely acceptable for Russia?

1_ NATO accession talks with the Ukraine are going to be temporarily suspended while they should be permanently suspended instead.

2_ NATO will continue arming the Kiev regime just like it did after Minsk 1 and Minsk 2, we know what happened afterwards. There should be no Ukrainian army in the future instead, Kiev can have only a military police.

3_ the territories absorbed into the Russian Federation are not going to be recognized as part of Russia, this also points to a resumption of hostilities and not to a peaceful resolution.

4_ Sanctions are going to be slowly lifted, "slowly" obviously means nothing, it's just the usual Western elites' deception. Nothing short of a complete and immediate lifting of sanctions can be regarded as a good will gesture, everything else is useless for Russia.

If the four points listed above are not respected, as it seems, then the SMO will continue indefinitely.
Bear in mind that these points are just the minimum Russia would reluctantly accept because:
1_ they don't take into account the liberation of all of Donbass/Novorossiya,
2_ the de-nazification won't be completed which means acts of terrorism on Russian soil are expected in the future,
3_ Kiev's controlled part of the former Ukraine will be inside NATO sphere of influence even though not as a official NATO member state.

By Dmitry Medvedev

Three events in Europe at the very beginning of winter

1. Well, the British have finally admitted that Zelensky's popularity has fallen sharply, and the majority of Ukrainians want him out. This is what The Times wrote. Only 16% of Ukrainians would vote for him in the elections, and 60% of those polled do not want him to run again at all. This means that the regime will continue to insist on a total war to the last Ukrainian and drag out the elections as much as possible. Because this is the only way to preserve the power of an illegitimate drug addict. So the Trump administration will not have easy negotiations on this topic with the Bandera regime. Stopping the war is tantamount to death for the Zelenskys. This is the end of their bloody power.

2. The new head of the European Council, Antonio Costa, and the Estonian Russophobe, who earlier made money in Russia with her husband and is now the EU's "chief diplomat", Kaja Kallas, arrived in Kiev on their first day of work. This means one thing: for them, the most important thing is not the prosperity of the EU countries, nor the development of the economy, nor the solution of social problems. The most important thing is the continuation of the war to the last Ukrainian. Rejoice, Europeans: a good choice, the right defenders of democracy!

3. In Georgia, there is an attempt at another "color ("rose," "orange," etc.) revolution." Some people are screaming in the streets, smashing and setting everything on fire. The other part is silent. The expired "president" of Georgia, the diligent French student of Zbigniew Brzezinski, crazy Aunt Salome, has babbled that she will not vacate her seat because she does not recognize the elections. For such things, they used to hang people on lampposts. Now is a humane time. It will pass. In general, all the prerequisites are present for once again plunging Georgia into the abyss of civil conflicts, once again forcing it to choose between the insolent EU, NATO, and Pindostan (USA), on the one hand, and the ancient land of Sakartvelo, on the other. In short, the neighbors are quickly moving along the Ukrainian path into the dark abyss. Usually, this ends very badly.

Regime change in Britain?

There are more and more rumors that Elon Musk is preparing to reformat the entire British politics. He is waging a war with the Labour Party, calling on the British to rise up against the power of the Labour Party and the "tyrannical police state".
Soon, Musk may allocate up to $100 million to support the Reform Party. Its leader Nigel Farage is now actively criticizing Starmer for the escalation in Ukraine and provoking World War III. Holes in the law allow foreigners to finance political campaigns in Britain.
This is used by Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, which pour money into the Conservatives and Labour. Well, now Musk can arrange his own foreign intervention, supporting "non-systemic forces and anti-establishment fighters" in London.
Musk is actively promoting a petition for the resignation of the Labor cabinet and early elections. Starmer's ratings are at the bottom - he is less popular than Farage. Farmers are rebelling against dispossession, businesses are being strangled by taxes. Britain's economy is stagnating. The country is flooded with migrants.
However, the Labor Party will desperately try to avoid the scenario of early elections, in which they will lose outrageously. But the position of the Starmer government, sitting on a powder keg, is becoming increasingly precarious. Besides, it was not worth interfering in the US elections on the side of Harris. And now the American right is already starting its operation to change the regime in Britain - in the hope of bringing Farage, loyal to Trump, to power.

Updates on Syria by @Boris_rozhin.

1. Assad held a meeting today with the Iranian Foreign Minister, who urgently flew to Syria. The issue of Iranian military assistance was discussed. Earlier, Syria requested military support from Iran to stop the terrorist attacks.
2. Since yesterday, there have been reports that during one of the strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces on militant command posts, the leader of the HTS Julani was allegedly killed. It's too good to be true. There is no confirmation of his liquidation yet. So far, the Russian Aerospace Forces have managed to destroy two high-ranking commanders of the HTS.
3. The militants are increasing pressure on the Kurdish areas north of Aleppo. Active fighting began in the direction of Tal Rifat.
4. The militants do not yet have full control over Aleppo. Kurds control part of the city. There is nowhere for the Kurds to run, so they are fighting back.
5. The enemy has captured Al-Safira to the southeast of Aleppo and continues to advance further to the southeast. There's still a hole in the front.

🇺🇸🇨🇦 Trump’s Shakedown: How the Empire’s Chaos Agent Could (but won’t) Nudge Canada Toward Sovereignty

Canada’s border is now front and center in Trump’s latest shakedown strategy. Industry Minister François-Philippe Champagne vowed a “very visible” Canadian presence at the border in response to the president-elect’s threats of a 25% tariff on Canadian imports. Trump’s demands hinge on stemming the flow of fentanyl and illegal migration, issues he has conflated with trade. “It’s in our mutual interest to protect the border and interdict fentanyl,” Champagne noted, adding, “We can somehow separate that from trade, because that is a totally different issue.”

While the numbers tell a stark tale: 23,721 encounters at the northern border compared to 1.5 million at the southern border, and 43 lbs of fentanyl seized at the Canadian border versus 21,148 lbs from Mexico, Trump’s rhetoric doesn’t concern itself with proportion. Prime Minister Trudeau’s surprise visit to Mar-a-Lago was another attempt to appease, with promises of border investments but no firm timeline. Meanwhile, Ontario Premier Doug Ford pressed for immediate action, stating, “We have to get a plan extremely quickly.”

A few thoughts…

Trump’s border shakedown is less strategy and more a poorly disguised mafia act, demanding tribute from loyal vassals under the guise of “national security.” Canada, ever the compliant Maple serf, now faces the humiliation of paying for the empire’s insecurities. Yet, there’s an ironic brilliance in Trump’s bluster: by shaking down his own “allies”, he unintentionally exposes the fragility of the unipolar order.

The empire eating its own is a spectacle of hubris, but here lies the paradox: chaos agents like Trump inadvertently do the Lord’s work for BRICS and the Global Majority. Canada, so eager to please its American overlord, could instead embrace the multipolar ethos… a sphere where sovereignty isn’t a bargaining chip, and partnerships aren’t forged at gunpoint. Imagine Ottawa trading tariffs and ultimatums for collaboration with those who reject weaponized trade. Trump, unwittingly, might just be pushing Canada closer to realizing that true sovereignty doesn’t come wrapped in stars and stripes. But don’t hold your breath, Trump knows what he can get away with the vassals, just look at Germany being forced to endure cosmic humiliation over NordStream.

The numbers are damning: 43 lbs of fentanyl seized at the northern border versus 21,148 lbs from Mexico, and just over 23,000 migrant encounters compared to 1.5 million in the south. Trump’s theatrics aren’t about solving real problems, they’re about keeping the empire’s vassals in line. If Ottawa had any foresight, it would use this moment of extortion as a wake-up call: the empire’s grip is loosening, and the time to pivot toward a balanced, multipolar future has never been clearer.

🇬🇪 Processes in Georgia are accelerating, fueled by American and French intelligence services, openly operating through embassy and consulate staff.

Next week, Euro-liberals are expected to issue statements regarding Georgia and its prospects, demanding new elections and the resignation of the government.

Statements are being prepared by Ursula von der Leyen, the erratic Kaja Kallas, and Charles Michel. All EU foreign ministers will be instructed to express similar positions. However, Hungary, Italy, and Slovakia have already declined to participate.

Meanwhile, Macron is preparing several initiatives against the current Georgian government to distract attention from his domestic issues in parliament and the economy.

The Georgian case is expected to be short-lived, lasting no more than a month, after which everyone will await new directives from the incoming U.S. Secretary of State.

🇷🇺❌🇺🇸🚂💥 Train of Futility: ATACMS and Storm Shadows Go Up in Smoke Near Chernomorsk

A train loaded with U.S.-supplied ATACMS and UK Storm Shadow missiles, reportedly arrived from Romania, was attacked near the port of Chernomorsk in Ukraine, according to a report via RIA Novosti from the pro-Russian underground. Another "game-changing" delivery reduced to smoldering debris, given depleted western stocks that had to hurt. Oof!

The West’s Military-Industrial Mirage
The U.S. and NATO's military-industrial complex, bloated and overhyped, now finds itself in an existential crisis. Decades of profiteering and inflated defense contracts have created a system more skilled at enriching defense contractors than producing battlefield-ready weaponry... In sufficient quantities. Meanwhile, Russia’s military-industrial complex has been running circles around the West, churning out high-quality weapons systems at a pace the entire collective West cannot match.

Ukraine may be the battlefield, but the stakes are global. Each destroyed shipment of ATACMS and Storm Shadows doesn’t just demilitarize Kiev, it also chips away at the West’s stockpiles, forcing them to cannibalize their own arsenals. And for what? To feed a proxy war they have already lost, waged against a Russia whose industrial might and strategic focus expose NATO’s bluster as just that, protection racket bluff.

As the Global Majority watches the collective West bleed itself dry, there’s a growing sentiment of gratitude to Russia. The "arsenal of democracy" has become the arsenal of hubris, systematically dismantled by a nation that refused to bow to imperial coercion. Thank you, Russia, for showing the world that the emperor truly has no clothes.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze: Some people, including the EU ambassador, have told us that they will recognize Georgia only if murderers, executioners, kidnappers of TV stations, business racketeers and people who started the war in 2008 return to power. This is an offensive position for us. When you are asked the question that either the "Nazis" must return, or Georgia has no value. This, of course, is not the right and healthy attitude towards our country, and we see an attack on the OSCE as a continuation of this. Everyone should accept that democratic elections have been held in Georgia, a democratic government is operating in the country, the process of forming both the parliament and the government has been completed, and the President of Georgia will be elected soon. Everyone who respects the principle of democracy must accept the will of the Georgian people.

Deepstate tensed up. The Trump team has confirmed the nomination of Cash Patel for the post of FBI director.

He is a Trump loyalist who helped fend off accusations in the “Russiagate” case. Patel was one of the emissaries for Ukraine, where he sought information about the corruption of the Biden family.
Patel has a big program to shake up the bureau. For example, he suggests closing the FBI headquarters in the Hoover Building in Washington and creating a museum of crimes of the “deep state” there. The headquarter itself can be moved far away from the US capital.
The Trump team plans to move as many federal agencies as possible from Washington to the American outback. Many officials, not wanting to move there, will start resigning themselves. The task of draining the "Washington swamp" will be solved by itself. Although no one has canceled the purges, the same Patel intends to fire all politicized FBI agents.
For example, those who brought criminal cases against Trump. And he also staged a real “hazing”, provoking Trump supporters to commit crimes. However, disgruntled secret service apparatchiks will probably also begin to take revenge on the Trump team.
They have opportunities - there is already an avalanche of crime and rampant cartels in the United States. And the terrorist threat level has been at its highest since 9/11. The FBI only recently arrested an Afghan Islamist on terrorism charges. During the purges, the system will definitely go haywire, and the dismissed agents will let everything take its course. The probability of any force majeure will increase dramatically.
