🇷🇺🇺🇦Fighting in Ukraine may cease in 2025 - The Economist

▪️"Both sides are close to exhaustion, supporters of each of them would prefer the conflict to come to naught. In Washington, this will become a priority for the new administration of Donald Trump," the publication argues.
According to them, the United States is running out of money and weapons to help Ukraine, and it still needs to help Israel and Taiwan
Europe has even fewer resources, and Ukraine itself will not be able to cope. Therefore, the likelihood of pressure to conclude a peace agreement is growing.
The publication believes that Ukraine "will have to put up with the loss of part of its territory," is unlikely to gain entry into NATO, but some security guarantees are possible.
In any case, at least now it seems very likely that discussions will begin in 2025, and when this happens, the fighting may abruptly subside, up to a cease-fire. While negotiations are underway, a semi-frozen conflict may arise," sums up The Economist.

‼️🇺🇸🇺🇦 Biden transfers anti—personnel mines prohibited by conventions to Kiev, -WP

According to the newspaper, in doing so, the US president "provoked criticism from arms control groups."
"More than 160 countries have signed an international treaty banning their use, noting that these indiscriminate weapons can cause long-term harm to civilians," the newspaper writes.
But the Biden administration wants to "help slow down Russia's offensive."
"Ukrainians are obviously suffering losses, and more and more cities and towns are falling. These mines were created specifically to combat this," the presidential administration explained.

❗The special military operation took longer because it started against the Kiev regime and continues as a conflict with NATO. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov.

"When all this began, it began against the Kiev regime. And now it continues as a war between Russia and NATO. That is why it took a little longer and will continue for a little while longer.

I don't think it's possible to answer the question of when the SMO might end. But the only thing I can tell you is that it will end as soon as we achieve our goals", he said on the air of the Indian news agency ANI.

Hong Kong jails 45 campaigners on subversion charges

Hong Kong’s largest national security trial saw sentences ranging from four to 10 years for all 45 campaigners on the stand for their role in organizing an unofficial primary election in 2020.

Had their plan succeeded, they theoretically could have vetoed the government's budget to eventually force the resignation of then Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam.

The court, however, rejected the defendants' claim that their election was legal, asserting that the plan could have led to a constitutional crisis.

How a "Color Revolution" is Manufactured

Tbilisi, Georgia.

Two videos tell very different stories.

Video 1: A young man, seemingly attending a peaceful rally, is tied up and beaten by what are described as "regime's cerberuses." Two "fragile women" rush to his aid, portraying him as a "symbol of purity and youth," unjustly persecuted for standing up for democracy, freedom, and peace. Western reporters loiter nearby, their cameras capturing the perfect narrative for evening broadcasts. Coincidence? Hardly.

Video 2: The same young man is seen wielding a stick, attacking a policeman—an unmistakable provocateur. The footage shows a starkly different reality: far from a peaceful protester, he’s inciting violence.

Now ask yourself: Which video will headline tonight’s Western news? And will the second video—the one showing what really happened—ever see the light of day?

This is how "truth" is manufactured, how "freedom of speech" selectively operates, and how regimes are framed. All while the "tyranny" in Georgia is supposedly the villain.

🇺🇦 Ukraine’s Collapsing Exemptions: Specialists Sent to the Trenches as the War Machine Falters

As the Ukrainian authorities begin revoking mobilization exemptions from their most skilled specialists, the façade of control is slipping. Even Ukrspecexport personnel—once key players in maintaining Soviet-era aircraft for global clients—are now being conscripted into the ranks of the AFU. These aren’t just any recruits; these are the technicians, engineers, and specialists who were, until recently, pillars of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex. Their conscription isn’t just desperate—it’s a loud admission that the country’s war machine is crumbling under the weight of reality.

For years, Ukraine capitalized on its Soviet-era expertise, exporting spare parts and technical services to countries still operating Russian and Soviet-made equipment. But those days are over. Russia’s relentless precision strikes on Ukrainian production facilities have decimated Kiev’s ability to deliver. The once-booming repair and export trade that bolstered Ukraine’s standing among its Western masters has now become a hollow shell. And as the cracks widen, even Ukraine’s patrons are quietly pulling back.

The decision to throw these specialists into the trenches signals more than just manpower shortages—it’s the death knell of Ukraine’s capacity to sustain itself as a viable military player. If the specialists who once repaired helicopters and aircraft are now clutching rifles in mud-soaked trenches, who’s left to keep what remains of Ukraine’s military equipment operational? The symbolism here is rich: a country whose leaders sold their people on promises of NATO-backed strength is now so depleted that it’s cannibalizing its own critical workforce.

What comes next? If highly skilled specialists are no longer exempt, the ripple effect will soon extend to every other sector. Doctors? Engineers? Scientists? The machinery of Ukrainian society is being ground into dust, sacrificed at the altar of a war that Kiev has already lost. And all the while, its Western patrons grow increasingly indifferent, their attention shifting to other theaters of geopolitical drama. The message is clear: Ukraine has been wrung dry, and now it' literally to the last Ukranian.

For Russia, this is yet another vindication of its strategy. The strikes targeting Ukraine’s military-industrial capacity are achieving exactly what they were designed to do—systematically dismantling Kiev’s ability to wage war while exposing the hollowness of its Western-backed promises. The conscription of specialists is not a sign of resilience; it’s a glaring red flag that the system is collapsing. The question is no longer if but when Ukraine’s unsustainable mobilization policies will push the nation beyond the breaking point.

🇺🇦🤝🇬🇧 Britain persuaded Ukraine to launch a bloody disaster - an operation on the left bank of the Dnepr near Krynki in 2023

- The maximum task was to get the AFU to the border with Crimea, for which the AFU marines had to overcome an 80-kilometer stretch occupied by the Russian Armed Forces, the UP writes with reference to sources in the AFU.

- The minimum task was to occupy and expand the bridgehead on the left bank, cut the M-14 highway 5-7 km from the coast and pull back the Russian forces from Donbass and Zaporizhzhya direction. The operation involved marines, many of whom were trained in Britain.

- But each of the objectives failed (!) due to poor planning and insufficient fire support on the other bank.

❗️ The AFU suffered huge losses and withdrew from their positions.

"We were told we only needed to break through the first line of Russian defenses and were told they had no second line," a source in the 36th Brigade command said.

- The operation was originally supposed to take place in early summer but was postponed due to the undermining of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam.

- There were high hopes for the mission and it was believed that it could significantly change the course of hostilities.

- As a result, by the beginning of 2024, the extreme complexity of the situation in which the AFU units in Krynki found themselves became apparent. And already in the winter, Ukrainian forces began to withdraw from there. By May, the situation had become catastrophic, and in July the last AFU soldiers left the left bank of the Dnepr.

Russia is engaged in what U.S. officials call "the largest expansion of military production since Soviet times." As usual, we learn about this from enemies who have discovered a lot of interesting things from satellites.
Images taken by Maxar show cut vegetation and extensive new development next to buildings that Hinz believes are solid fuel research and production facilities in five complexes in Altai, Rostov-on-Don, Moscow, Leningrad Regions, and Perm.
Western analysts draw the only possible conclusion - Russia is preparing for a prolonged conflict, where many missiles, both shock and air defense, will be needed. Components for nuclear missiles are manufactured elsewhere, and this expansion of production does not apply to them. But it concerns the rest of missile weapons, starting from Grads and Hurricanes and ending with S-400 and Iskanders.
On negative note we are expanding production so overtly that Western media write about it. It's only a matter of time before Khokhls try to hit them.

🇩🇪 Germany at the Crossroads: It’s the System, Stupid

Germany, once Europe’s industrial juggernaut, now stumbles in a state of managed decline. With elections looming, the theatre is set. But let’s be clear: this isn’t about who wins, but whether Germans can reject the system that’s strangling their sovereignty. Because unless they do, these elections are nothing more than a distraction, a masterclass in divide-and-conquer.

Scenario 1: Banning AfD, A Gamble with Fire
Banning AfD wouldn’t be a show of strength but a desperate move to silence over a quarter of the electorate, especially in the former DDR where resentment still burns over decades of economic neglect. Friedrich Merz, obedient globalist and former BlackRock operative, would become Chancellor. The result? More war, deindustrialization, and blind subservience to the U.S.. But silencing AfD won’t kill populism, it’ll fuel it. BSW would emerge as the strongest opposition, carrying the banner for those abandoned by the establishment.

Scenario 2: AfD Grows, But the System Holds
AfD and CDU dominate the elections, but the anti-AfD cordon sanitaire holds. Merz scrambles to cobble together a coalition with Greens and SPD, a circus of contradictions. Meanwhile, AfD becomes the largest opposition party, and with BSW rising in tandem, Germany’s parliament turns into a warzone of populist resistance.

But the cracks widen as Germany faces 3 brutal realities: NATO’s inevitable defeat in Ukraine, an economic crisis fueled by sanctions and energy dependency, and mounting unrest from a population tired of being sacrificed on the altar of vassalage.

Scenario 3: AfD Triumphs – The System Strikes Back
An AfD victory would trigger nothing short of institutional war. Mockingbird media, and globalist puppeteers would unleash chaos: mass protests, endless scandals, “mystery” corruption charges, and lawfare targeting AfD leaders. Color revolution tactics, international condemnation, and Soros-funded street movements would all be in play.

It’s the System, Stupid
These scenarios expose a single rigged system. This election isn’t about who governs, it’s about maintaining control while gaslighting the public into thinking change is possible. Divide and conquer, with AfD voters demonized as extremists and BSW supporters dismissed as utopian dreamers, all while the establishment engineers the decline..

Here’s the uncomfortable reality: Germany’s democracy is theatre, scripted to ensure one outcome, continued vassalage to Washington. The Nord Stream sabotage was a declaration of U.S. dominance over Europe. Germany’s leaders didn’t even flinch. Their silence was an endorsement of their own country’s humiliation.

If Germans want real change, it’s not about winning elections within a rigged system, it’s about rejecting the system itself. Imagine a post-SMO world where Germany reclaims sovereignty, realigns with Russia and China, and embraces BRICS. Imagine restoring its industrial base, securing cheap energy, and forging a just peace in Europe. This isn’t a fantasy, it’s a choice. But to make it, Germans must first wake up to the fact that their political elite serves Washington, not Berlin.

“Yankee, Go Home” The Cry of Sovereignty
The 80’s saw mass protests demanding the removal of U.S. missiles and troops. It’s time for Germans to rediscover that spirit, to say "Yankee, go home" and reclaim their sovereignty. NATO has turned Europe into an American buffer, draining its resources, compromising its security, and hijacking its future.

A sovereign Germany could help lead Europe in a multipolar world, standing with the Global Majority rather than kneeling before DC. The alternative? Continued decline, economic ruin, and an electorate manipulated into fighting itself while the true oppressors profit from the chaos.

The real question isn’t about CDU, AfD, or BSW, but whether Germans can see through the charade. The rigged script won’t save them; only rejecting NATO servitude and imagining a future aligned with the Global Majority can.

🇺🇸The U.S. War Machine: Congress Sidelines Itself, the Empire Marches On (for now)

Buried beneath the grandiose slogan of “democracy”: the US hasn’t declared war since World War II. Congress, the body constitutionally mandated to oversee such vital decisions, has been relegated to a cheerleading squad while the executive branch wields unchecked power like an emperor commanding legions.

This is imperial fiat masquerading as consent of the governed. From Vietnam to Iraq, Libya to Syria, the U.S. war machine roars on, fueled not by congressional debate but by rubber-stamped resolutions, appropriations, and the all-too-familiar "Authorizations for Use of Military Force". These legal fig leaves allow the White House to bomb, invade, and occupy without a whisper of accountability.

Let’s be blunt: Congress sold its soul. Since World War II, it has surrendered its constitutional prerogative to declare war, instead passing vague resolutions that grant presidents a blank check to wage war wherever and whenever they see fit. The result? Endless wars with no rational objectives, no exit strategies, and no accountability.

And what happens to the trillions of dollars funneled into these wars? Enter the military-industrial complex, the world’s most sophisticated money-laundering operation. These wars are about enriching defense contractors, lobbyists, and Pentagon officials who shuffle through the revolving door between government and industry. From Lockheed Martin to Raytheon, the same corporations profiting off the carnage also fund think tanks and political campaigns to keep the war machine running.

While the bombs fall, contracts worth billions flow into the coffers of weapons manufacturers. A significant chunk is then laundered back into DC, disguised as campaign contributions or lucrative speaking gigs. The Pentagon’s own accounting is so opaque that $2 trillion in spending has been deemed "untraceable." And let’s not forget Ukraine or Israel, the MIC’s latest cash cow, where tens of billions in U.S. aid vanish into a black hole of corruption.

The wars of the 21st century don’t even bother with pretense. Forget declarations; the U.S. now engages in hybrid wars, proxy conflicts, economic strangulation through sanctions, and information warfare. Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, these are not declared wars, but they are wars nonetheless, waged in the shadows with the same deadly consequences. And behind every drone strike or sanction lies another bloated defense budget, another no-bid contract, another slush fund for the MIC.

The Declare War Clause was meant to check power, to ensure that the decision to spill blood was taken soberly and democratically. Instead, it has been sidelined by an empire that cannot stop expanding, an empire that feeds on forever wars. This is not about defending freedom, but controlling resources, securing markets, and maintaining hegemony at any cost.

And as BRICS rises, as the Global majority asserts its sovereignty, the Empire grows more desperate.

Its (losing) wars: kinetic, economic, and informational, are not signs of strength but of fragility, the thrashing of a system that cannot adapt to a multipolar world.

Who benefits from this endless bloodshed? Not the American people, saddled with $38 trillion in national debt and over $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities. The winners are the same cabal that profits whether the bombs drop or not: defense contractors, Wall Street speculators, and the political elite.

The MIC is not just about war but about money laundering on an imperial scale. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan? Cash cows. The conflict in Ukraine? A feeding frenzy for weapons dealers and their political masters.

This is not just America’s problem. The endless wars waged by the U.S. ripple out, destabilizing nations, wrecking economies, and displacing millions.

The Empire stumbles, but it won’t fall on its own. It’s time to push harder. The age of unaccountable wars and untraceable profits must end.

The lack of a response to US aggression will only encourage its expansion.

The enemy, without hesitation, struck six ATACMS missiles at the Bryansk region last night, inside the internationally recognized territory of Russia. Perhaps I agree with the opinion of @pintofmind: the lack of an answer will reduce our international credibility. And I will add: our inaction will encourage the United States to act even more brazenly and aggressively.
As I have already written, we will have to answer not only in Ukraine, but also abroad, i.e. against the United States and its allies. It won't come any other way. At the same time, we must have a scenario for the entire escalation ladder. For example, the first step is a strike on a US or NATO facility in Europe with conventional weapons, the second is the use of TNW, as an option, the third is ... and up to the last step is the use of Strategic Nuclear Forces.
And it is up to us to answer, not some Houthis. I have already written about this before. And you need to choose goals based on their importance for achieving your goals. An American destroyer or even an aircraft carrier that sank in the Red Sea will not be a game changer in Ukrainian Theater of Operations.

The Rossiya Segodnya, Sputnik's parent media group, has addressed a letter to the Director General of UNESCO, urging the organization to put an end to its suppression of facts confirming that Russian journalists faced violations of their rights.

The draft report on journalist safety by UNESCO neglects to mention the deaths and injuries sustained by members of the Russian media. Notably absent is any reference to Sputnik military correspondent Rostislav Zhuravlev, who was killed on July 22, 2023, due to Ukrainian shelling in the Zaporozhye Region.

The political bias of the UNESCO Secretariat has become increasingly apparent, with the organization appearing to align itself with the West’s agenda of "dismantling Russia."

The letter further highlights that the UNESCO draft report omits numerous instances of harassment and violations of the rights of journalists belonging to the Rossiya Segodnya media group who work in Western countries.

Regrettably, these omissions serve only to underscore that the UNESCO Secretariat seems to have abandoned the core principles that initially guided the work of the United Nations.
