Germany and France protest EU plan to bypass Hungary's veto on Ukraine aid

A number of EU countries, including France and Germany, have expressed concern and objected to the idea of the European External Action Service to bypass Hungary's veto on providing aid to Ukraine, the Bloomberg News agency reported, citing sources familiar with the situation.

“[S]ome member states, including France and Germany, have voiced concerns over setting a precedent that could imperil the future of the European Peace Facility as a foreign policy tool, according to people familiar with the matter. Currently, the EPF relies on mandatory contributions based on each member state’s economic weight and requires unanimity for disbursement,” the agency said.

Earlier, EU diplomatic chief, Josep Borrell, said that Hungary continues to block the allocation of 6.6 billion euros from the EPF, as compensation to EU states for supplying arms and ammunition to Ukraine. A European source told reporters that the EU foreign policy service had submitted a proposal to the member states for the EU to contribute to the EPF on a voluntary basis, thereby bypassing Hungary's veto.

The sources told the agency that it is not yet known how much support the EU foreign policy proposal may receive, but the decision requires the support of all 27 members.

Russia believes that arms supplies to Ukraine hinder the settlement, directly involve NATO countries in the conflict, and amount to“playing with fire.”Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that any shipments that contain arms for Ukraine would be a legitimate target for Russia.

After Putin's statement at the BRICS summit in Kazan about satellite images, there is no particular doubt about the presence of North Korean military personnel in Russia. Most likely, they are already on Russian territory, but it is far from certain that they will immediately go to the zone of the special military operation. Their appearance in the Kursk region and participation in battles with Ukrainian troops in the so-called "old territory" are much more likely.
Moreover, this is a story beneficial to both sides. Russia gets the opportunity to transfer troops from the Kursk region to the Donbass, to the Zaporozhye or Kherson region. The DPRK military will gain experience in conducting modern warfare, with which they will return to the Korean peninsula, the situation on which will sparkle with new colors.
If we consider the situation in Ukraine, then we can say that the appearance of North Korean troops in the theater of operations reduces the likelihood of a NATO contingent entering Ukrainian territory. As well as making mobilization in Ukraine pointless. The AFU will no longer have a numerical advantage in almost any scenario.
In general, the deck in world politics is shuffled quite bizarrely. The first major conflict of the former Cold War was Korea, which in fact became the site of a proxy war between Moscow, Beijing and Washington. In relation to the second Cold War, Ukraine plays the same role, where the players are still the same. And there are Korean military from the north once again.

On the Israeli attack on Iran.

1. The Israeli strike was emphatically demonstrative and limited, which was a consequence of Iran's position and US pressure. It was preceded by several weeks of negotiations on "where to hit/where not to hit" and the mantras "no one wants a world war."
2. As a result, several arrivals with uncertain results outside Tehran. The Israeli media initially announced this, but then even skepticism began to seep into them about the "negotiated" strike, which was primarily supposed to save Netanyahu's face.
3. Iran stated that the damage was minor, the air defense worked well, but they will respond to this attack at the right moment. Ultimately, rocket attacks on Israel are now going on every day, both from Lebanon and Yemen. It is unlikely that we will see something similar to the famous rocket rain in response to this particular strike. The insignificance of the damage will allow Iran to continue to adhere to the previous strategy, when Hezbollah and Ansar Allah regularly bombard Israel.
4. It is worth remembering that for Iran, direct war is an extremely undesirable option. Iran will not be able to fight a direct war with the United States and Israel. But it can defeat them by playing by his own rules of proxy war and sticking to the strategy that Qassem Soleimani once developed. That is why Israel is trying to pull Iran into a direct confrontation, and Iran is doing its best to avoid this.

🇬🇪🗳Mass provocations at Georgia’s polling stations

The Georgian chairman of the Central Executive Committee, Giorgi Kalandarishvili, said that provocateurs from the opposition carried out mass ballot stuffing at a polling station in Marneuli, Georgia, where the parliamentary elections are taking place.

Opposition sources quickly distributed the video, which shows that the person who shot it did not try to prevent the stuffing in any way, but rather took part in the violation himself.

At another polling station in Baghdati, provocateurs smashed ballot boxes in the election for the Parliament of Georgia.

Commenting on the events happening in the country, the founder of the ruling party "Georgian Dream", Bidzina Ivanishvili, said, "The agents have an urgent task – to involve Georgia in hostilities."

He added that Georgia faces a choice, "Either we choose a government that will serve you, the people of Georgia, the Georgian society, take care of the country, or we choose an agent of a foreign state that will only follow instructions from abroad."

Georgia is a parliamentary country. Whoever wins a majority in these elections will form a government and determine the country's domestic and foreign policy.

The ruling Georgian Dream party faces the opposition, Unity-National Movement alliance, which advocates a European path for Georgia. It staged several anti-government protests earlier this year in response to bills on foreign agents and family values.

"It is beneficial for these countries not to choose sides": Bloomberg identified a group of more than a hundred countries that are adopting a new kind of "geopolitical neutrality".

"Geopolitics is shaping trade and investment flows around the world in a way it hasn't been for decades, fueling talk of a new Cold War. In addition to the US-led Western bloc and another one dominated by Russia and China, about 101 states have joined a separate group of "new neutrals". The members of this informal group are betting that they will be able to attract investments from both sides and get economic benefits if they do not choose either side.
The "New Neutrals" benefit greatly by staying out of the fight: they attract a growing share of foreign companies' investments in their factories and projects. One of the factors driving this trend is that Chinese enterprises are spending more money to locate factories in other countries in order to circumvent import duties and other protectionist measures by the United States and the EU. The share of neutral countries in trade with China, Russia and friends is growing. At the same time, the share of trade with the Western bloc has decreased. There are two main reasons for this: the countries in the middle import Chinese goods and Russian oil on favorable terms."

▪️ The Ukrainian military and analysts are screaming from morning to night about the critical situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
▪️"In Selidovo, the Russians advanced in the southern part of the city in a section up to 1.2 km wide."
▪️"West of the railway in the section from Vishnevoye to Tsukurino, the Russians advanced in a section up to 3.9 km wide to a depth of 1.6 km," the enemy's resources write.
▪️"The Russian army has advanced in the central part of the city north and south of the river.
▪️The attacks of the enemy assault groups continue in the direction of the "11th Quarter".
▪️The assault is coming from the south (north of the river) and the east," they wrote in the evening.
In Vishnevoye, Russian troops took the southeastern part. The fighting continues.
▪️The assault on the 11th microdistrict continues in the northwest, the Russians have almost taken control of it.
▪️In the area of Gornyak, Russian troops were able to reach mine No. 42 and gain a foothold!

Israel missile attack on Iran: What’s known so far?

The Israel Defense Forces launched three waves of “precise” strikes on Iranian military targets, in what Tel Aviv said was in “response” to Tehran’s attacks on the Jewish state in early October.

🌏According to the IDF, the attack on Iran has ended and Israeli warplanes have returned home after striking military targets, namely missile manufacturing facilities, surface-to-air missile arrays, and air defense systems.

🌏The targets included Iran’s air defense batteries and ballistic missile manufacturing sites, the IDF said.

🌏Over 100 warplanes, including the fifth-generation F-35s, were reportedly involved in the attack.

🌏Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in a bunker in Tel Aviv’s Kirya military base during the attacks, per the PM’s office.

🌏White House and Pentagon officials have “consulted closely with Israel in recent days about the scope and type of targets Israel would launch against Iran", the New York Times reported. The US, however, was not involved in the strikes, White House National Security Council spokesperson, Sean Savett, said in a statement.

🌏It was the first time that Israel has claimed responsibility for an attack on Iran, in an operation code-named "Days of Repentance", according to Axios.

🌏Iranian media in turn maintained that its air defenses had successfully shot down Israeli targets in the airspace around Tehran province, adding that the IDF attacks also caused “limited damage” in Ilam and Khuzestan provinces.

🌏The Syrian Defense Ministry said that the country’s air defense systems had downed several Israeli missiles that targeted Syria’s central and southern areas.

🌏State news agency IRNA reported that the situation in the Iranian capital, Tehran, remained normal despite the explosions that were heard west of the city.

🌏The military centers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps located in the west and southwest of the Iranian capital were reportedly not damaged.

🌏Iran is ready to respond to Israel over the missile strikes, a high-ranking source told the Tasnim state news agency. There is “no doubt” Israel will “receive a proportionate response to any action", the source pointed out.

British aviation expert Christopher Protheroe says that he has been offered over $5,400 by then-Polish Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz to falsify the report on the crash of a Polish presidential plane over Russia's Smolensk Region in 2010.

The official version that the plane that carried then-Polish President Lech Kaczynski fell because of an explosion onboard is false, Protheroe tells TVP, adding that there was no explosion before the plane hit the ground and that the real reason behind the catastrophe is the plane flying lower than needed and hitting a tree.

The FATF: Another Western Tool Bites the Dust
Once again, we witness how these so-called "international organizations" are nothing more than blunt instruments for the West to manipulate their global agenda. The Financial Action Task Force (FATF), an organization that claims to combat money laundering and terrorist financing, has predictably revealed itself to be just another cog in the Western-controlled global machinery. But this time, their efforts fell flat.

💵 In a clear sign that the tide is turning, Ukraine’s latest attempt to blacklist Russia was blocked, thanks to BRICS powerhouses like China, India, South Africa, and even the Persian Gulf monarchies. This wasn’t just a victory for Russia, it was a statement. The Global South is standing firm, no longer cowering to the Western narrative and dictates.

Just look at the irony: they suspend Russia from the FATF for allegedly violating the organization’s "principles," while those very principles are weaponized against countries who refuse to play the empire’s game. But today, the Western coercion machine met its match. The FATF was vetoed plain and simple, by those who are tired of bending the knee.

⚖️ Post Kazan summit, we are reminded that the BRICS nations have zero interest in playing by the West’s rigged rules. They are designing a new financial order, free from arbitrary sanctions, SWIFT blockades, and blatant double standards. The FATF may keep its posturing for now, but it's clear that Western institutions are crumbling under their own hypocrisy. Their illusions of control are fading fast.

Let’s be real: the days of unchallenged Western economic hegemony are over. The Global Majority is done with being lectured by a declining empire that can’t even follow its own rules. The BRICS nations are actively building something far more resilient and equitable, and the FATF’s toothless attempt at isolating Russia is just the latest evidence of a system that no longer holds sway over the emerging multipolar world.
