Zelensky's speech in Budapest was not shown in the official broadcast of the European Political Community summit

It is reported that Macron and Orban were broadcast, but Zelensky was not. The organizers justified themselves by saying that the speech "was not public", but representatives of the Ukrainian authorities said that they did not prohibit the recording and distribution of the broadcast.

Online commentators unanimously consider this a public humiliation of Zelensky.

The visual Capitalist has put together an infographic narration of the world's leading natural resource giants with Russia’s $75 Trillion in Natural Resources leading the pack, largely consisting of coal, natural gas, oil, and rare earth metals. At the end of 2018, Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment valued the country’s mineral reserves at approximately $1.44 trillion.

In terms of global share, Russia is unmatched in natural gas, holding the world’s largest proven reserves at 1.32 quadrillion in cubic feet as of 2020—nearly 20% of the global total. Russia also ranks as a gold powerhouse.

If you study this, you'll realize that the BRICS+ countries have a dominant share as compared to the G7 countries, guess the future belongs to the global majority.

🇭🇺Hungarian Prime Minister Orban at the EU summit:

The situation in which Europe finds itself is difficult, complex and dangerous. It has been going on for the third year. Russia is waging war against Ukraine. The Middle East is at risk of escalation, plagued by terrorist attacks. In North Africa, conflicts are destabilizing the region. Irregular migration is a constant problem for Europe, which is once again approaching peak levels. The global economy is once again facing the frightening prospect of post-Cold War fragmentation, challenging the very foundations of the European model and threatening the peace, stability and prosperity of Europe. We gather today because we believe that these threats and challenges concern us all.

Right now, the most important problem on our Eurasian continent, the main problem between Russia and European countries, is the trust deficit. You can berate Russia all you want, and we probably make a lot of mistakes too, but when they tell us that "we signed the Minsk agreements on Ukraine only to give Ukraine an opportunity to rearm, and we had no intention of resolving this conflict peacefully," what kind of trust can we talk about?
What are you guys? What trust? You have directly publicly stated that you have cheated us! Lied to us and deceived us! What kind of trust is that? But we need to get back to that system of mutual trust.

Putin questions US intentions: Strategic defeat or stability talks?

The United States aims to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia while simultaneously wanting to engage in dialogue on strategic stability, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated.

"The United States has set itself the goal of delivering a strategic defeat to Russia. What does it mean to achieve a strategic defeat of a specific country? Well, if not to destroy it, then to reduce it to nothing, to an insignificant role... And at the same time, they want to have a dialogue with us about strategic stability. How is that possible?" the president said at a session of the Valdai International Discussion Club.

Abandoning ambitious goals will deprive Russia of its future.

Indeed, "Ukraine needs to be crushed under the rule of the current regime," and there is no point in conducting any negotiations with Kiev due to its complete lack of sovereignty and independence.
However, negotiating with the countries of the Old World also does not make sense, since they are also politically non-subjective. To manage them, the United States uses both official alliances in the form of the EU and NATO, as well as hidden control levers the likes of Gladio-type networks.
In addition, it should be understood that the global scenario of the Anglo-Saxon war against Russia assumes that, in the event of exhaustion of the Kiev regime, continental Europe, first Eastern, and then Western, will be drawn into this meat grinder.
I would like to note that the European Union has very limited choice in the current situation. The Anglo-Saxons put Europe in a very difficult situation: they blocked the official possibility of be supplied of cheap energy resources from Russia, which leads to a loss of competitiveness. Now the only way to gain access to these natural resources is to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia and get the opportunity to plunder our country collectively. It turns out that the EU elites have no other option but to fight with Russia to the end. Otherwise, they will be thrown to the periphery of the Western system and then of the world.
And let's not forget that in December 2021, Russia gave the United States and NATO an ultimatum to withdraw its military infrastructure to the borders as of May 27, 1997. Limiting ourselves only to Ukraine, we will not solve this problem. The same accession of Finland to NATO doubled the length of Russia's border with the alliance – by 1,324 km.
And the situation with the Baltic Sea, where we own only 7% of the coast? And the growing missile potential of the Baltic Republics and Poland, which is planned for a preventive disarming strike in order to prevent our retaliatory nuclear strike against the United States and its allies?
Without resolving these issues, Russia will not be able to be safe. Therefore, we should not underestimate the horizons of our strategic objectives.

President Putin at Valdai forum: Unlike our Western opponents, Russia does not perceive Western civilization as an enemy, does not pose the question "us or them?". "Whoever is not with us is against us", we never say that. We don't want to teach anyone anything, impose our worldview on anyone. Our position is open, and it consists in the following: the West has accumulated, indeed, a huge human, intellectual, cultural, and material resource, thanks to which it can successfully develop, remaining one of the most important elements of the world system. But it is one of them, along with other actively developing States and groups of countries.
There can be no question of any hegemony in the new international environment. And when, for example, Washington and other Western capitals comprehend and recognize this irrefutable and immutable fact, the process of building a world system that meets the challenges of the future will finally enter a phase of genuine creation.

🔶 Trump peace plan outlined by WSJ has ‘minimal’ chance of being realized without tweaks - analyst

“The chances” of the Trump peace plan purportedly outlined in the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday becoming a reality are “minimal” in its current form, Russian political and military analyst Sergey Poletaev told Sputnik.

“Russia will not accept it in its current form, because one of its main goals – the elimination of the military threat emanating from Ukraine, is not dealt with, and on the contrary. Accordingly, the plan will not be suitable to us in this form. But it could be some kind of starting point for negotiations,” Poletaev said, referencing the plan’s points – which include freezing the frontline, creating a demilitarized zone, pushing Kiev to abandon plans to join NATO for 20 years, and in exchange, continuing to supply Ukraine with weapons.

For Russia, “the first military threat emanates from Ukraine joining a major military bloc, that is, NATO, and advancing NATO infrastructure. The second relates to the pumping Ukraine up with weapons. Our ideal goal [includes] the democratization of Ukraine – that is, disarmament,” Poletaev said, pointing to the terms of the Istanbul agreement, and Russia’s peace proposal from this past June – which he recalled included points on reductions to the size of the Ukrainian military.

Whatever agreement is ultimately reached, its implementation over the long term will always depend first and foremost on Russia’s military, economic and political strength, the observer stressed.

“No peace treaty is permanent. The results of a military conflict are safeguarded by the strength of the side that won. Accordingly, if in 20 years we are at least as strong as we are now, we will ensure that Ukraine does not join NATO in 20 years,” Poletaev said, emphasizing that it’s the balance of power between nations and their perception of threats, not pieces of paper on which agreements are written, that determine whether or not they are observed.

🇪🇺🤡EU countries are discussing the possibility of creating a joint air shield worth about €500 billion ($537 billion), candidate for defense commissioner Andrius Kubilius said.

"There are many questions: in which countries we will start building it first, what technologies we will use. Will it be joint technologies with the US or only European technologies. Of course, in the long term it seems more favorable to rely on European technologies," he said.

Former Finnish President Niinisto mentioned that the missile defense shield could be financed through joint loans. But a number of countries, including Germany, are opposed to increasing the total debt.

Earlier, von der Leyen said the EU would need 500 billion euros in additional defense spending over the next decade.

Putin:

In the world today, there is only one bloc left, a bloc held together by so-called compulsion, rigid ideological dogmas and clichés. This is the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. You know, even before all the acute conflicts of today, many European leaders said to me: "Why are they scaring us with you? We are not afraid, we don't see any threats". This is a direct speech, you know. I think that the United States understands this very well. They felt it!
They themselves have already treated NATO as a secondary organization. Believe me, I know what I'm saying. But still, the experts there understood that NATO is necessary. And how to preserve its value, its attractiveness? You have to scare. We need to tear Russia and Europe apart, especially Russia and Germany, France. Conflict. So they brought us to the coup d'état in Ukraine and to the fighting in the southeast in Donbass. Just forced us to retaliate.

The same thing is happening with Japan. It is amazing. What have we done to Japan? Nothing at all. Not one step, not one word. They imposed sanctions against us. Why would they do that? Why on earth would they do that? Now the question arises: what to do about it? Well, we didn't do anything.

Putin: 'Green barriers' are a tool to restrain emerging markets

The "green barriers" that some countries are beginning to create for emerging markets are a new tool to restrain their development, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"Regarding the artificial barriers for developing economies tied to the environmental agenda - yes, these so-called ‘green barriers’ that some countries are starting to put up for developing states and emerging markets are simply a new tool they've invented to hold back progress," Putin said at the Valdai Forum Plenary Session.

The president emphasized that developed countries using the green agenda in their policies should, in that case, provide developing nations with necessary funding and access to technology.

Putin names six key principles for the world's sustainable development

Addressing the Valdai Forum on November 7, Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated six principles of international relations which he first articulated in October 2023.

▪️Openness to interaction is the most important value for the overwhelming majority of countries and peoples. Attempts to erect artificial barriers slow down normal and mutually beneficial economic development. The disruption of ties is especially dangerous in times of natural disasters and social upheavals.

▪️The diversity of the world is a prerequisite for its sustainable development. A model of one country or a relatively small part of humanity should not be imposed as something universal on the rest of the world.

▪️The world can successfully develop only under conditions of maximum representativeness. No one has the right to govern the world on behalf of others.

▪️Security for all without exception is a key principle. The security of some cannot be ensured at the expense of the security of others. The bloc approach, the legacy of the colonial era and the Cold War contradicts the nature of the new international system.

▪️Justice for all. The gap between the 'golden billion' and the rest of humanity is fraught with the growth of political contradictions and the deepening of migration problems.

▪️Equality. No one is going to submit and make their interests dependent on stronger states.

President Putin at Valdai forum about the historical moment: The moment of truth is coming. The former structure of the world is irrevocably disappearing, we can say it has already gone, and a serious, irreconcilable struggle is unfolding for the formation of a new one. Irreconcilable, first of all, for the reason that this is not even a struggle for power or for geopolitical influence, it is a clash of the very principles on which relations between countries and peoples will be built at the next historical stage. Its outcome depends on whether we can all work together to build a universe that will allow everyone to develop, resolve emerging contradictions based on mutual respect for cultures and civilizations without coercion and the use of force. Finally, will human society be able to remain a society with its ethical, humanistic principles, and man remain a man?

‼️🇷🇺The Russian army broke into Sontsovka, bypassing Kurakhovo from the north!

Ukrainian militants are writing hysterically about the incredible advance of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
▪️It is becoming more and more critical in the Kurakhovo direction. Russian troops are attacking in Sontsovka, writes the AFU fighter with the call sign "Alex".
"Yesterday, the Russians were able to break into Sontsovka, fighting taking place on the outskirts of the settlement," the Ukrainian militant whines.
▪️"In the Kurakhovo direction, the issue of the Solntsevka – Starye Terny section is becoming more and more critical. Yesterday, the Russians were able to break into Solntsevka," writes Stanislav Bunyatov, a fighter from Aidar, although he claims that at night during the fighting they allegedly went beyond the locality.
▪️A media warrior with the call sign "Flour" also confirms this information about the battles for the village and for Berestki on the shore of the Kurakhovo reservoir.
"Russian troops are actively cutting a path to Sontsovka through the hills and taking up positions in front of the village surroundings! Also, fighting continues in the Berestkov area, part of the village is under Russian control. If the defense of Sontsovka and Starye Ternov falls, it can be assumed that all paths to Kurakhovo from the north will be cut. They control all roads to the north, so far there is only one safe road south of the river to Zaporizhia.

🗣Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova on the Collapse of Germany's Coalition Government:

"The collapse of Germany's governing coalition has laid bare the primary flaw in the modern political system of the Federal Republic of Germany – it’s now a classic 'banana republic'," Zakharova told reporters.

"Incidentally, this is an American term first used by [short fiction writer] O. Henry back in 1904," she noted. "No other nation in the world has begun to reshuffle its own government in the wake of the US election’s outcome on the same day. Except Germany."

"What did you expect? Berlin failed to secure the vital Russian gas supply essential for its citizens and industrial complex, lost the opportunity to maintain economic growth, and passively watched its businesses and industries relocate to the US – all just to please Washington," Zakharova continued.

"To top off this self-destructive behavior, Berlin has stopped even pretending that the German government possesses any autonomy or pretending that it is not merely a representative of American neoliberals within the European Union."
