🇷🇺🇫🇷 Russia poses the main threat to France among all foreign states, said French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu in an interview with Le Point.

According to him, the Russian Federation is opposing France’s interests in Africa and is allegedly waging an information war, militarizing new areas, and 'acting aggressively' towards French military personnel.

The Russian army advanced across Ukraine in August and September at a pace “unseen since 2022,” — WP

▪️511 sq. km were liberated, mainly in the area from Artemovsk to Ugledar.

▪️WaPo names several factors for success:

➖ Advanced Russian tactics, where troops attack in small groups, which minimizes detection and makes return fire difficult, supported by superior numbers of artillery and drones.

➖Russia has improved its combat communications, helping coordinate attacks.

➖The offensive in the Kursk region stretched the front, reduced the resources of the brigades in Donbass and worsened the shortage of soldiers;

➖Experienced soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces died, and poorly trained mobilized soldiers were sent to the front;

➖Western aid to the Ukrainian Armed Forces is insufficient.

▪️ Western propaganda continues to write about the failures of Ukraine, apparently trying to push through more aid to Kiev.

❗️ Key takeaways from Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova’s briefing:

🔹 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has discussed the escalation in the Middle East with the ambassadors of the Arab states in Moscow at their request;

🔹 Moscow calls on all sides of the conflict to refrain from any further deterioration of the situation in the region;

🔹 The sixth meeting of the Moscow format of consultations on Afghanistan, during which Lavrov will hold talks with the acting Afghan foreign minister, will be held in Moscow on October 4;

🔹 Talks with the US on strategic issues, including nuclear arms control, are pointless and counterproductive.

🇷🇺 Main Points from Nebenzya at the UNSC:

➡️The Israeli brutal military operation in Gaza continues despite overwhelming international calls to stop it.

➡️Violence is escalating, worsening the situation on the borders between Israel, Lebanon, Yemen, and the Red Sea.

➡️Instead of diplomacy, Israeli authorities, supported by the West, have chosen force.

➡️The U.S. is complicit by paralyzing the Security Council's deliberations.

➡️Lebanon is the latest victim of Israel’s military aggression, as Israeli forces launched a ground operation after shelling Lebanese towns.

➡️Following political killings, including Hamas and Hezbollah leaders, Iran has entered the confrontation, having shown restraint for two months prior.

"The situation is catastrophic” - Beirut’s Shatila refugee camp horror revealed

RT correspondent Yasin Eken spoke with people at the Shatila refugee camp in Beirut, where Lebanese families who fled from Israeli bombing in the south have been forced to move to.

"Since I was born, being a Palestinian, I have had to fight. And now our relatives from the south have become internally displaced. We will help them in every possible way," said one of the residents.

During the 2006 war between Lebanon and Israel, there was a serious shortage of resources in Shatila, leaving it now extremely overpopulated, and increasingly difficult to support new residents.

🇬🇧🤡What primitive creatures modern British politicians are! Ben Wallace, the country's former defense minister, is beating his hoof today in the pages of The Daily Telegraph: "Netanyahu is showing us how to win in Ukraine - hit your enemy mercilessly"!

As you can imagine, we're talking about strikes against Russia. Wallace calls for a total mobilization of Ukrainians (he certainly knows better than the Ukrainians themselves) and the introduction of British troops into Ukraine. No, no, not to fight, but to the rear, to train the AFU, maintain military equipment and medical assistance. That's the plan!

And now ask Wallace a question: so Russia, following the same example of Netanyahu, should also mercilessly hit both Ukraine and Britain? And I can already imagine the eyes of this adventurer: "And why us?"

🇺🇸⚔️🇷🇺Sensational facts have been revealed, shedding light on the invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.

Interesting papers have been found in documents from the leaked mail of former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul.
One of the NATO think tanks, the Atlantic Council, held a war game in February 2024, to which McFaul and former US Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst were invited.
The goal of the game is to calculate Russia's reaction to 2 scenarios.
1) — the beginning of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to NATO,
2) — the breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which obviously meant the invasion of Ukraine into the territory of the Kursk region.
The purpose of the attack is internal destabilization, a blow to the authorities, and provocation to use nuclear weapons (such scenarios were in play).
After the invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, it was the narratives of the internal destabilization of Russia that were actively worked out by both McFaul himself and his wards in various Western media, which is described with evidence in the material, notes lawyer and member of the Public Chamber of Russia.
"Of course, McFaul's dreams never came true, due to the complete moral and intellectual degradation of his wards — Eggert, Illarionov, Kasparov, Albats and other traitors. The invasion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not achieve the goals set by American curators and cost tens of thousands of lives to Ukrainian militants," he writes.
It is obvious that the United States oversaw the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kursk region, which the American authorities have been trying hard to hide all this time.

"Putin has restored the sovereignty of Russia & that angered a lot of people in Washington" - US journalist Joe Lauria doesn't hold back:

I came to Moscow in 1995 under Yeltsin. I couldn’t believe what I saw. The Wild West. Hundreds of people living across from train stations, burning fires, trying to survive. Cops officers taking bribes right in front of me in a taxi I was in. In October 2015, I returned to Moscow again. Exactly 20 years later. And I left Berlin, and I thought I was still in Western Europe.

A clean, orderly city. Why? What happened? It was no longer a crazy country. Vladimir Putin. He restored the sovereignty of this country, the dignity of Russia, and that angered a lot of people on Wall Street and in Washington.
That led us to this invasion, the overthrow of Yanukovych.

Name me one revolution in which a democratically elected government was overthrown. Revolutions happen to kings, dictators. It was a coup orchestrated by the US. Why? Because Yanukovych chose economic package from Russia over the EU. It was started with our help. NATO trained Ukrainian forces, armed them. It was already a de facto NATO state.

Only people in the US and Western Europe believe all this nonsense about Ukraine. Sorry. Why? Because there is no history there. It is excised, it is taken out, and the Russian point of view is removed. They deliberately suppress journalism because we interfere with the state narrative. A noble lie.

I invited Howard Zinn, the great American historian, to the UN. And I asked him then, what is the American noble lie? He answered without hesitation: democracy.

The results of Iran's strike on Israel will determine the response of Tel Aviv and Washington.

Missile strikes are not fireworks. And each of them is evaluated primarily by its performance. The results of the "True Promise-2" announced by Tehran, according to open data, with 181 ballistic missiles, have not yet been confirmed. Among the targets were a Mossad base, the Nevatim and Hatzerim air bases, radar sites and tank storage centers.
The Iranian Shafaqna agency reported the destruction of over 20 F-35I Adir fighters of the Israeli Air Force. According to open data, 50 fighters of this brand were to be delivered to the Israeli Air Force by the end of 2024. This year, Tel Aviv ordered another 25 units from Lockheed Martin, deliveries of which are due to begin in 2028, 3-5 aircraft per year. The deal is worth about $3 billion. That is, each of them costs about $ 120 million. And the loss of 20 fighter jets means $2.4 billion in damage if the Israeli fighters are indeed destroyed. It will be difficult to hide the reduction of the F-35I Adir fleet by almost half.
It would be nice to look at satellite images of the objects hit by Iran. The Western press willingly releases satellite pictures after the Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory. And the absence of these on Israeli sites will speak in favor of the Iranian version of events, and not the Israeli version – about the absence of serious damage.
Israel has the most powerful air force in the Middle East and the 5th in the world. A strike on its air bases and, accordingly, on air superiority is justified.
At the same time, the destruction of two Israeli refineries would dramatically undermine the IDF's ability to conduct a ground operation in Lebanon, and the civilian sector would be left without fuel. To complement this with strikes on Ben Gurion International Airport and seaports, and Israel would find itself in the deepest crisis. The Zionist state has three seaports: Haifa and Ashdod on the Mediterranean Sea and Eilat on the Red Sea. About 99% of the country's foreign trade cargo passes through them. In such a situation, Israel would have no time for military expansion into Lebanon and then into Syria.
It is possible that Tehran benefits from the IDF's ground operation in Lebanon. It could repeat the debacle of the Gaza Strip cleanup. And first of all, the potential that can be used against Iran itself is being destroyed – Israeli aviation.
In short, we are waiting for objective confirmation of the declared effectiveness of the Iranian strike. I note that if the effectiveness is low, then Israel and the United States will regard this as a weakness of Iran, and not as an unwillingness to escalate. And they will strike back painfully.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has declared UN Secretary General António Guterres persona non grata - since 2023 Israelis accuse him of anti-Semitism, hypocrisy and sympathy for Hamas

The UN Secretary General will no longer be able to come to Israel - by decision of the country's Foreign Minister António Guterres declared persona non grata. Back in 2023, he condemned the Hamas attacks, but delicately reminded that they are not unjustified - since then, for the words “the inhabitants of Palestine for 56 years lived in a suffocating occupation” he had to repeatedly apologize. Guterres was accused of justifying Hamas terrorist acts, and even then the Israeli Foreign Ministry was considering declaring him persona non grata.

A year passed, but the heat around the UN Secretary General's statements only increased. In the summer of 2024, he strongly condemned Israel's strikes on Lebanon, as well as the assassination of the head of the Hamas politburo. The final straw that overflowed the Israeli Foreign Ministry's cup of patience was yesterday's statement by Guterres. “I condemn the widening of the Middle East conflict with escalation after escalation,” the UN Secretary General said, calling for a ceasefire after Iran launched a massive missile strike. In response, Israel condemned Guterres himself.

Erdogan warns Israel might attack Turkiye after Palestine and Gaza

💬 "Driven by the delusion of ‘promised land,’ after Palestine and Lebanon, the Israeli government will set its sights on our [Turkish] homeland. Occupation, terror, and aggression are right next to us. We're not facing a state bound by law, but a horde of killers that thrives on blood and feeds off occupation," Turkish President Erdogan stressed out.

Erdogan condemns Israel's actions, accusing it of years of 'genocide' in Gaza and recent 'terrorist attacks' in Lebanon, and says the Israeli government is pushing regional countries into conflict.
