While all the attention of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was focused on our attacks in the eastern part of Ugledar, the soldiers of the 5th Guards Tank and 430th motorized Rifle regiments, with the support of other units of the Vostok group, occupied the western suburbs of Ugledar with a rapid assault.
The enemy could not resist this maneuver and our fighters broke into high-rise buildings in the western part of the city.
The improvement of positions in the eastern part of Ugledar also continues. The city has not been liberated yet, but its fate is definitely predetermined.

The plan B.
Given nuclear deterrence doesn't work anymore when you are dealing with deranged psychopaths like the globalist elites in charge of Europe and the US what would be a solution for Russia to basically reverse the table?
Someone might think the simplest solution would be the actual usage of nukes to remind everyone the destruction caused by them but this would be counterproductive in the eyes of many people in the world and you never know where the radiations will actually be brought by winds so you could actually be hurt at least partially by the aftermath, and this not taking into account the possible symmetrical response of the enemy.
So what's the real solution?
Creating a new deterrence. And how you create it? By using, not announcing it, something new that's as destructive as a nuclear weapon minus radiations. This should be Russia's top priority. In the future world where national sovereignty is the main pillar there must be strong deterrence but it must be implemented using different, unconventional means than the ones currently available. Of course it's up to Russian scientists to come out with a surprise. The sooner this X weapon is rolled out the better for the world, of course it must be something that "scares the shit out of the enemy" and enforces a return to sanity without the need of diplomacy and talks.
This is becoming more and more necessary as it's clear all of this won't end with the Ukraine, there's plenty of cannon fodder the Washington elites and the globalists can still deploy in their all out war against Russia before this is over and it can't be ruled out Russia might be unbalanced in the end.

If the rumors are true and Israel promised Iran a ceasefire in Gaza in return for no retaliation, and also hit Nasrallah during ceasefire negotiations, that is a significant parallel to the way Kiev has been using agreements & negotiations as cover for perfidy, and a scathing indictment for every power in the world that still considers any deals it makes with the West binding or made in good faith.

The club of lovers of gentlemen's agreements with the West has a new member.
It turns out that not only the Russian, but also the Iranian leadership can be cheated. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian was also "cheated" by the United States and Europe (in his own words), promising a truce in the Gaza Strip in case of refusal to retaliate for the elimination of the head of the political wing of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran.

Because so far, the frondying East and South, which have come to understand that it is necessary to somehow stop the neocolonial practices of the West, are very far from complete unity. It is just being formed, while in the western camp there is an anti-democratic strict block discipline based on unconditional submission to the leading power, the US, who has weakened, but decided to ignite wars on all the frontiers of its empire in order to prolong its hegemony.
There is still no understanding that in order for the countries of the anti-Western front to survive (and this is one way or another the majority of humanity), it is necessary to fight to the death with the West, and for this to find a balance within its fronding group. But it will inevitably come, although very soon. In the meantime, various countries pursuing anti-Western policies will have to fill a lot of bumps and suffer defeats. As they say, an objective historical process.
