🇮🇱🇺🇦Reports are emerging that Israel has stopped work on the early warning system for missile attacks in Ukraine.
Supposedly, it has managed to launch and configure only 25 percent of the system from the planned volumes. At the same time, the bulk of the equipment was deployed in the eastern part of Kiev.
Russian missiles and drones have always tried to avoid this area, attacking mainly from the north and south, so it is unclear why Israeli specialists decided to work here.

Ukraine has lost 222,395 personnel wounded and killed in all directions since the start of the invasion of the Kursk region - from August 6 to November 11, 2024 (97 days), according to the Russian Defense Ministry
Donetsk direction - 67,370 people - 30% of the total losses;
Pokrovskoe direction - 49,715 people - 22% of the total losses
Kupyansk direction - 46,270 people - 21% of the total losses
Kursk direction - 30,640 people - 14% of the total losses.
Average daily losses are:
Donetsk direction – 695 people/day;
Pokrovskoe direction - 513 people/day;
Kupyansk direction - 477 people/day;
Kursk direction - 316 people/day;
South Donetsk direction - 119 people/day;
Kharkov direction - 106 people/day;
Kherson direction - 67 people/day.
In all directions - 2293 people/day.
It should be taken into account that the Ministry of Defense reflects in its reports the approximate losses of the enemy only on the line of combat contact, not counting the servicemen killed as a result of the use of Russian long-range precision weapons and aviation deep in Ukrainian territory.

Russian troops have advanced 2.5 km to the center of Toretsk. According to German Ukrainophile propagandist Julian Röpke, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been trying to cut off the Russian offensive with flanking attacks from the north and south for several weeks, but to no avail. Fierce street battles are underway for every apartment building.
According to Röpke, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not yet been able to carry out a counterattack to dislodge our troops from apartment buildings in the center of Toretsk. The Russian Armed Forces now control about 70% of the city, including Central Street.

Niger's Minister of Mines, Ousmane Abarchi, confirmed the fact of negotiations with Russian companies that have expressed interest in uranium exploration and production in the country.
He also specified that the Nigerien authorities are not currently considering the possibility of resuming uranium production by French companies.
Niger, the world's seventh-largest uranium producer, cancelled French companies' licences to develop the Imourarene deposit in June, even though the companies had already begun operations.

According to the map, the fighting is taking place in the Zaoskolye area on the left bank of the Oskol River.
By nightfall, the first shots of fighting were heard in the city limits of Kupyansk.

Who is Pete Hegseth, Trump’s new secretary of defense?
Peter Hegseth - a former US National Guard officer and Fox News host - has been chosen by president-elect Donald Trump to be the next secretary of defense.
🌏A Princeton University graduate and ex-analyst with Bears Sterns, Hegseth previously served as a Minnesota National Guard officer. He participated in the US invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq and was also deployed at the US naval base at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba, the site of probably the most notorious US prison overseas.
🌏He earned himself a reputation of a staunch Trump supporter, even defending such controversial decisions by the 45th POTUS as the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in 2020.
🌏Hegseth is known for his hawkish stance on Iran, branding the country as “an evil regime” at one point, and for being a big proponent of close relationship with Israel. He stressed the importance of the US being Tel Aviv’s “strongest ally” and accused Iran, Hamas and Hezbollah of seeking to destroy Israel.
🌏Not a big fan of Russia by any means, Hegseth nevertheless postulated that issues the US domestic problems – such as inflation, wokeness and the border crisis – are much more important than the Ukrainian conflict.
🌏He criticized the European NATO members for their apparent reliance on US protection and their reluctance to spend their fair share of money on defense in hopes that Uncle Sam would bail them out if push comes to shove.
🌏China is apparently regarded by Hegseth as a threat, seeing how he claimed that Beijing is “building a military specifically dedicated to defeating the United States.”
🌏In 2019 Hegseth vocally defended Edward Gallagher, a US Navy SEAL who was accused of multiple war crimes including murdering an injured prisoner and firing upon civilians in Iraq.
🌏Last week Hegseth argued that any US general or admiral “involved in diversity, equity and inclusion programs” or “woke sh*t” needs to be fired.
🌏In his book titled “War on Warriors: Behind the Betrayal of the Men Who Keep Us Free,” Hegseth accused left-wing US politicians of betraying the American “warriors” and insisted that the US military must be returned to “meritocracy, lethality, accountability, and excellence.”
