Georgescu arrested: why are Romania’s DEEP STATE and the West trying to SILENCE people’s hero?
Calin Georgescu has been stopped in traffic and taken in for questioning by the General Prosecutors Office over alleged illegal campaign financing. Searches have been carried out among members of his entourage.
Who is Georgescu and why is he such a 'threat'?
🔴 The Georgescu saga has plagued Romania and its EU and NATO overlords since the shock cancelation of elections in December, which the candidate won with a plurality in the first round.
🔴 Georgescu has asked sharp questions about the benefits for Romania of membership in NATO, critiqued the US missile base deployed on Romanian territory targeting Russia, criticized the flow of NATO arms to Kiev via Romania, and predicted that Ukraine would be split after the conflict.
🔴 Georgescu’s past praise for Putin and desire to pursue policies to make Romania a “sovereign and self-sufficient power” prompted Western media to smear him as a “pro-Putin TikTok star,” “ultranationalist” and Trump supporter who would become “the EU and NATO’s worst nightmare” if elected.
🔴 Last week, Georgescu revealed that the cancellation of the election, which he dubbed a “coup d’etat,” was “ordered from abroad” by the Biden administration and the EU, and “implemented here by the oligarchy system.”
🔴 Hundreds of thousands of Romanians have been holding regular protests in support of Georgescu amid authorities’ efforts to shut him out of politics.

The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) says it cannot access congressionally appropriated funds that support "nearly all" of its grants and operations, leaving nearly 2,000 contractors worldwide without funds.
Funny enough, NED, unlike USAID, is a "private" foundation. However, it received 95% of its funding from Congress. Therefore, they believe that they should not have been subject to the State Department's 90-day freeze order.

Imagine being a Ukrainian soldier stuck in the trenches, fully aware that:
- Ukraine has already lost the war.
- The US is resetting relations with Russia and planning massive business deals.
- The US has stopped supplying weapons and funding to Ukraine.
Ukraine is completely bankrupt.
- The rich Donbas region is gone, and its most valuable natural resources have been sold off to BlackRock and other US vultures.
- Corrupt Ukrainian leaders have gotten filthy rich and have backup plans in Monaco, Ibiza, and Miami.
- Even if he makes it home alive, he’ll likely be jobless, with no compensation from a broke government.
And the worst >
- He might die for a war where the outcome is already decided.

❗️ General Mike Flynn warns against NATO troops in Ukraine
NATO troops fighting in Ukraine could draw the US into a conflict under Article 5, according to former National Security Advisor General Mike Flynn.
Flynn also expressed frustration with the globalist agenda, accusing it of promoting a one-world government led by "evil psychopaths."
"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" he concluded his message in X.
Ursula von der Leyen in Kiev - again spoke about Russia crushed by sanctions.
If we talk about the issue of sanctions, we see that they are already having an unprecedented effect on the Russian economy - inflation has skyrocketed, and interest rates. Companies are leaving Russia, so yes, these are not just sanctions in a light version. And this is really part of an approach that can be described as "peace through force."
And if we don't show Russia the facts that we intend to achieve a stable agreement, a long-term and reliable agreement... There have to be some steps for Russia to see the seriousness of our intentions.
As of today, it is too early to make any statements about maintaining, increasing, strengthening or lifting sanctions. Only after we see concrete steps from Russia will we be able to talk about this.

Vladimir Zelensky wildly misled US President Donald Trump when he boasted about Ukraine’s mineral deposits, Artyom Dmitruk, a member of Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada, told RT.
Zelensky offered the US a partnership to develop Ukraine’s minerals. “The Americans helped the most, and therefore the Americans should earn the most. And they should have this priority, and they will,” he told Reuters this month. He claimed that Ukraine has Europe’s largest titanium deposits, while Prime Minister Denis Shmigal wrote in an op-ed for Politico that the country’s subsoil contains “22 out of the 30 minerals listed as critical for the EU.”
Speaking to RT on Thursday, Dmitruk argued that Zelensky’s tactic was deceptive. “It is an issue on which Zelensky has once again fooled the whole world, and, more specifically, Donald Trump and his team,” Dmitruk said.
“First, all of these resources, the rare-earth minerals, are currently located on the territories with active combat. Second, no one can say what the price of extracting these resources will be,” he added.
“If these precious resources could have been mined so easily and on such a large scale as Zelensky promised, and if it would have been profitable, the companies in Ukraine would have started doing it long ago. It is yet another lie, another farce that Zelensky attempts to exploit.” In an op-ed for Bloomberg on Wednesday, commodities expert Javier Blas wrote that Trump’s expectations of a deal for Ukraine’s rare-earth minerals are grossly exaggerated. He said Ukraine “has no significant rare-earth deposits other than small scandium mines.”
Zelensky acknowledged earlier this month that around half of its rare-earth deposits are “under Russian occupation,” according to Reuters. (Source: RT) @LauraRuHK

Having embarked on a path of militarization, Europe has lost the right to claim any participation in talks in Ukraine and is drifting toward isolation, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a commentary following the adoption of UN General Assembly and Security Council resolutions on the Ukrainian crisis.
“In general, the discussions and voting at the UN clearly demonstrate that the world community wants peace. European countries, having firmly committed to militarization, have justifiably lost their claim to a role in negotiating a resolution to the Ukraine crisis and are becoming more isolated. Significant shifts in the positions of the global majority nations are evident, reflecting a growing sense of realism and a desire to expedite the end of the conflict,” it said.
Lavrov on when the hostilities in Ukraine will end:
"Just immediately 'make peace', leave the line of contact, and then think what to do - we have always emphasized that this option will not suit us. We have already tried this option in April 2022 in Istanbul, when we reached an agreement based on the principles that the Ukrainians themselves proposed to us.
They asked us to stop the advance of our troops as a goodwill gesture. Even to pull back a little, which we did. The only result was that the West, represented by then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, forbade Ukraine to sign the treaty it had initiated.
We will stop hostilities only when the negotiations produce a firm and sustainable result satisfactory to Russia.

BOOM > It looks like the agreement Trump is presenting to Putin aims to entirely push out all EU interests in Russia and seize control of them.
After supplanting Russia as the EU's energy supplier, Trump is now moving to take over EU investments in Russia, likely acquiring them at a discounted rate as distressed assets.
In return, Putin is likely securing a massive deal to attract US companies to invest in Russia, enabling access to the trillions of dollars worth of natural resources.
EU total investments in Russia prior to 2022 : $200 to $230 billion.
US total investments in Russia prior to 2022 : $40 to 50 billion dollars
(Combining European and U.S. investments in Russia prior to February 2022 likely ranged from $240 billion to $280 billion.)
🗣Key takeaways from statements by Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov, February 25:
▪️Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s prompt reaction to Serbia’s accidental vote in favor of an anti-Russian UN resolution is welcomed by Moscow
▪️The next phase of Russian-US interaction will take place at an expert level along the lines of foreign ministries, Peskov said, replying to a question about reports by Western outlets about the purported February 25 meeting in Riyadh
▪️Investment and trade cooperation between Russia and the US, including rare earths, is only possible after relations are rebuilt and the Ukrainian issue is resolved
▪️Russia and the US have a long way to go to restore trust after all the difficulties of the past few years
▪️Russia and the US are not in talks on agreements on issues of mutual interest, as “it has not come to that”
▪️The United States is currently demonstrating a more balanced stance on Ukraine compared to European countries, reflecting a genuine desire to resolve the conflict
▪️Russia maintains communication with the Syrian authorities, and the “working process is underway,” Peskov said, responding to a question on the status of Russian military bases in the country
▪️The Kremlin has nothing to add to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s position on NATO peacekeepers in Ukraine being unacceptable
