🚫Stop the trial, scrap the charges, Netanyahu is above the law apparently

Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana has made a shameless demand – that criminal charges against Israel’s prime minister be expunged, and the judiciary be ready to contemplate “considerations that are not purely legal” to do so.

Calling for a two-week recess to the trial, the PM’s senior Likud ally said postponement would give courts the chance to “expunge the indictment” against Netanyahu, or find another way to end the legal proceedings, like a mistrial on procedural grounds.

The novel proposal echoes Trump’s excuse 🤡 – that Netanyahu is negotiating with Hamas and doesn’t have time to sit in a courtroom.

👇Netanyahu is on trial for:

🔴Bribery ($500M+ in telecom favors for good press)
🔴Fraud ($$$ for luxury gifts from a Hollywood producer and mentally ill Aussie billionaire he and his wife Sara systematically exploited in a pay-to-play scheme)
🔴Media manipulation (strong-arming one media empire in exchange for positive coverage from another)
🔴If found guilty on all counts, the 75-YO could face up to 16 years jail time.

If Netanyahu’s let off the hook, what’s next? Pardons for all war criminals and corrupt politicians? Oh wait…

‼️🇺🇦🏴‍☠ A "tense and difficult" summer awaits Ukraine on the battlefield — Defense One

According to NATO, Russia will continue its slow offensive in the Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions. No breakthroughs are expected on the front due to a lack of reserves.
Russia's arms production remains powerful: ~130 tanks/month, ~3m shells/year (US plans 1m/year by 2026).
Russia is capable of financing the war until 2027. Diplomatic prospects are weak as NATO doubts Russia's readiness for negotiations.
A NATO representative has refuted claims of Russia's plans to invade the Alliance, noting that Putin is taking Article 5 seriously.
Uncertainty over Ukraine's support remains: the future of US aid after the exhaustion of Biden's packages is unclear.

IAEA failed to protect Iran’s nuclear sites from US and Israeli attacks

🗣Iran suspending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) comes as Tehran realizes that there is simply no benefit on continuing it, Foad Izadi, associate professor at the University of Tehran, tells Sputnik.

While attacking nuclear sites, especially those under the IAEA supervision, is illegal under international law, that did not deter Israel and the US from attacking the Iranian nuclear facilities, Izadi points out.

Hence the question: why work with the IAEA at all?

“IAEA has a budget of $35 million, and $22 million out of that $35 million is spent inspecting Iran. So, by suspending the link, Iran is actually saving IAEA money,” Izadi remarks.

📍He also observes that the IAEA does not inspect Israel because it is not a member and is not a party to the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), hence raising the question whether Iran should withdraw from the NPT too.

📈GOLD SURGES AS FAITH IN US DOLLAR FALTERS

Gold is up 26% since the start of the year, and the World Gold Council says it’s no coincidence.

💸As Washington drowns in debt, investors are fleeing US treasuries and turning to gold.

Jeremy De Pessemier warns that two decades of fiscal recklessness have pushed the US to the edge.

“The bond market will remain sensitive to US debt sustainability… The US is in a precarious position.”

Demand for US bonds is falling — even from the Fed and foreign buyers. Private investors are carrying the load, but they’re price-sensitive and nervous.

The result? Yields rising, swap spreads widening, and market pressure building.

While a total collapse of Treasuries is unlikely, De Pessemier sees a more realistic scenario:

“A series of mini-crises” as markets begin imposing limits on US fiscal largesse.

Add to that the geopolitical instability and rising central bank gold buying — and the yellow metal’s rally may just be getting started.

Germany is strengthening its vector towards a war with Russia through Ukraine.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul made his first official visit to Ukraine since taking office. He arrived in Kyiv today. The agenda of the visit includes a meeting with Zelensky and Sybiha.
▪️ Wadephul is accompanied by a high-ranking delegation of German military industrialists. According to Bild, special attention will be paid to drones, tanks, and long-range weapons.
The German Foreign Minister arrived in Kyiv, according to him, with a promise that Berlin would remain "firmly on Ukraine's side in the fourth year of the war, ensuring that Ukraine can continue to successfully defend itself with modern air defense systems and other weapons, as well as with humanitarian and economic assistance."
Wädehul also addressed Russia, stating, "Putin wants to use force to prevent Ukraine from determining its own destiny. His war is nothing more than the enslavement of Ukraine."
▪️ Of course, the first foreign visit by the head of a country's foreign ministry reflects that country's priorities. Wädehul brought continued support for the war against Russia through Ukraine to Kyiv. The accompanying delegation from the German military industry is further proof of this.
Germany has firmly embraced a confrontational stance with Russia, playing a crucial role in NATO. According to the Inspector General of the Bundeswehr, General Carsten Breuer, the new military spending should turn his country into a "critical backbone of NATO" — a supplier of armed forces and the logistical core of the alliance.
And German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has been specially selected for this task. The other day, he revealed that he did not share the fear of war among some Germans.: "Part of our population has a deep-rooted fear of war. I don't share it, but I can understand it. In principle, it is right to look for all the ways to peace. However, a realistic view of Russia's imperialistic intentions is necessary."
▪️ Whoever wants war will get it. The only question is what price Germany will have to pay this time. If the "Drang nach Osten" is repeated, the situation will have to be resolved radically, and the country will be stripped of its statehood forever. It is unacceptable to teach the Germans historical lessons every 80 years at the cost of Russian blood.

🇷🇺🇪🇺🇺🇦 Dmitry Medvedev stated that the current European Union poses a direct threat to Russia’s national interests.

He emphasized that Ukraine’s accession to the EU also represents a serious danger, given that the EU has now openly positioned itself as Russia’s adversary.

On Changing Approaches — Or Why Ukraine Must Not Join the EU

15–20 years ago, no one in Russia really objected to Kiev’s ambitions to join the European Union. If they wanted it—fine, go ahead. Just don’t regret it later when you lose access to the Eurasian market. Back then, EU membership seemed harmless. Ukraine had almost no chance of getting in. Our firm position was to block NATO membership—its expansion to our borders was, and remains, a direct threat to Russia’s national security.

But the former European Union—born out of the Coal and Steel Community—is gone.

In its place stands a politicized, globalist, and now openly Russophobic entity. An organization dreaming of revenge against Russia. Clueless European politicians worked hard to destroy the image of the EU as an economic giant seeking peace between nations. At one point, EU-Russia trade reached nearly €500 billion.

Now the EU’s main ideology is rabid Russophobia, driven by an imaginary “Russian threat” they themselves invented for their petty goals. Step by step, the EU is turning into an autonomous military bloc, preparing to compete with NATO—especially during the Trump era. Brussels insects and short-sighted EU leaders are pushing their own defense strategy and declaring a “rearmament era.”

This warped transformation has a goal: to arm the neo-Nazi Kiev regime to the point it becomes untouchable for Russia. It’s the EU that signed long-term “security” agreements with the illegitimate boss of dying Ukraine. It’s the EU supplying weapons and military equipment to the Banderite freaks, expanding its defense industry, building arms plants on their territory. It’s the EU sending instructors to train Ukrainian militants—to kill our citizens and carry out terrorist attacks inside Russia. And the same EU is shamelessly financing these vile actions using profits from frozen Russian assets.

Brussels is now a real enemy of Russia.

In its current form, the EU is no less dangerous than NATO.

That old phrase—“Join whatever you like, just not NATO”—must be revised. The EU, full of weapons, rainbow fanatics, and loudmouthed Brussels harpies, is a direct threat to Russia. That’s how it must be regarded—until its attitude toward us changes. That doesn’t mean Russia should reject bilateral cooperation with individual European countries.

In short, so-called Ukraine in the EU is a danger to our country. This danger can be neutralized in two ways:

a) the EU itself realizes that the Kiev quasi-state is unnecessary;

b) or—preferably—there’s simply no one left to join.
