NATO weapons to be hit in any country from where Russia may be attacked — Medvedev
The senior Russian official added that Moscow proceeded from the fact that all long-range weapons supplied to Ukraine were already "directly operated by servicemen from NATO countries".
NATO countries that have approved strikes with their weapons on Russian territory should be aware that their equipment and specialists will be destroyed not only in Ukraine, but also at any point from where Russian territory is attacked, the Russian Security Council’s Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said on his Telegram channel, noting that the participation of NATO specialists could be seen as a casus belli.
"All their military equipment and specialists fighting against us will be destroyed both on the territory of former Ukraine and on the territory of other countries, should strikes be carried out from there against Russian territory," Medvedev warned.

"Some members of the Alliance have been seeking to strengthen their positions in [South] Caucasus in order to get access to resources of the Caspian Sea and direct access to Central Asia. Protests are being sponsored in Georgia which is being forced to take active anti-Russian measures," Belousov said, addressing a meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Almaty.

Lavrov urges countries of Global South not to attend Swiss meeting on Ukraine
During his speech, the top Russian diplomat stressed that the goal of the event in Switzerland is not "considering the ways of settling the conflict around Ukraine"
"Lavrov has also noted that the standoff has gained a global projection because the West is engaging in it the countries of the global majority, aspiring to limit their interaction with Russia. The minister urged not to succumb to pressure by the US and its satellites and reject the invitation to participate in the 'peace summit' which will be held in Switzerland on June 15-16," the Foreign Ministry noted.

Having been personally to assess the situation there just a couple of weeks ago, I can state with certainty that Miller's words are demonstrably false and disagree in the strongest terms, as do the civilian residents of Belgorod.

Full-scale war between Russia, West can’t be ruled out, expert says
"A number of officials, particularly in France and the United Kingdom, have said that individual military units from NATO countries may be deployed to Ukraine," Russian International Affairs Council Director General Ivan Timofeev said.
"A full-scale war is not is not a foregone conclusion, but unfortunately, its likelihood is growing," he pointed out ahead of an international conference titled "Russia and China: Cooperation in a New Era." "One option is that there will be a great rise in confrontation between us. At the root of this is the Ukraine issue, as the West continues to provide large-scale military assistance to Kiev," Timofeev added.
The West is fully aware of this danger, the expert believes. "The NATO leadership has made statements that no troops will be sent to Ukraine, and a number of EU politicians have said that this is counterproductive. That means they aren’t united on the issue."

Belarusian president signs law suspending Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe
The law was passed by the Belarusian upper house in early May.
"The Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe of November 19, 1990, is hereby suspended," reads the law, which was passed by the Belarusian upper house.
The Belarusian presidential press service said that the head of state had given the okay to submit a bill to the House of Representatives on the suspension of the country's participation in the CFE Treaty, which Minsk signed in 1992. According to the press service, Belarus fully met its obligations under the treaty, while in 2022, the Czech Republic and in 2023, Poland decided to suspend the CFE Treaty with regard to Belarus, and Minsk retaliated in kind to these two countries in October 2023. Moreover, in November 2023, NATO countries decided to indefinitely suspend their participation in the treaty, which, according to Belarus, essentially means the treaty itself is suspended.

‼️FAKE ALERT‼️
It is with deep disappointment and utmost regret that I ask all of you to be vigilant to the fakes and contrivances that originate on websites purporting to be small US news outlets.
Not only did the Western media recently detect and report on a spate of AI websites, but most egregiously, the architect has now set his sights on slandering a journalist who has done valuable work in Donbass and as a result had suffered some of the most serious and outrageous measures taken by a government upon it's own citizen in the absence of a crime.
The perpetrator's behaviour is indefensible.
Ukraine is guilty of enough evil that contriving ridiculous and easily debunked stories is stooping to the gutter level of the forces we are fighting.
We're better than this and those who would undermine the cause MUST be called out and held accountable for their actions.

Mobile modular shelters may appear in Russia to protect the population from all types of weapons, including nuclear weapons.
This follows from the draft government resolution. The explanatory note to it states that the existing civil defense structures are not enough to shelter the entire population.
Scientists from the All-Russian Research Institute of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations previously developed a mobile shelter of the modular type "KUB-M" (pictured). It can protect not only from the light radiation of a nuclear explosion, but also from radioactive contamination

Alleged Ukrainian attacks on Russian nuclear radars unnerving US
Kiev has allegedly attempted to damage Russian radar stations designed to detect ICBMs.
Reports that Ukraine has attacked Russia’s early ballistic missile warning stations are unnerving the country’s American backers, according to the Washington Post on Wednesday.
Last week, Ukrainian sources claimed that two operations had been carried out against Russian long-range facilities designed to detect intercontinental ballistic missile launches. The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the claim. Footage shared online suggests that at least one of the attacks caused damage.
In a statement on Saturday, Senator Dmitry Rogozin, who previously headed up the Russian space agency Roscosmos, said Moscow should hold the US responsible for these attacks if they were carried out by Ukraine. Washington “has hired a reckless bandit, who is trying to damage a key element of our system of strategic nuclear forces combat control."

Hungary expects oil supplies via Belarus to continue — foreign minister
"Secure oil deliveries to Hungary would not be possible without the Druzhba oil pipeline," Peter Szijjarto said.
Belarus is playing an important role in supporting Hungary’s energy security because 80% of its oil imports are coming via the Belarusian territory, Szijjarto noted. Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic receive Russian oil over the southern branch of the Druzhba oil pipeline. "Last year, 4.5 mln metric tons of oil came to Hungary by this route, and as much as almost 2 mln metric tons this year," the Hungarian foreign minister said.
"There is no another oil pipeline in Hungary, where it will be possible to transport a similar quantity of oil, he noted. "Since Croatia increased the transit fee and not the capacity of its pipeline, we now depend on transit via Belarus," the minister noted, meaning the Adria oil pipeline that does not have such throughput capacity as the Druzhba pipeline has.

Russia, China view each other as priority partners — Lavrov
According to the Russian foreign minister, cooperation in the practical field has been progressing steadily, despite the turbulent geopolitical situation.
"This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. We have approached this significant anniversary with a brand new relationship. We view each other as priority partners," Russia’s top diplomat said. More than 90% of mutual settlements in bilateral trade is currently made in the ruble and the yuan, he added.
"China has confidently held the position of our leading trade partner for over 10 years now, while Russia moved up to fourth position in the list of China’s foreign trade counterparties last year," he added.

Moscow reacts to US trade embargo warning
Such a move would destroy established ties in the global economy, Russia’s ambassador to Washington has said.
A potential US trade embargo on Russia would not break the country’s economy, but would severely harm international commerce, Moscow’s ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov has said.
Speaking at an event organized by the Brookings Institution in Washington on Tuesday, the White House deputy national security advisor for international economics, Daleep Singh, was asked if the US should “put tariffs on everything Russia exports” as part of sanctions over the Ukraine conflict.
"The history of trade embargoes is not a great one. But to the extent that Russia is transforming its economy entirely into a factory for the war machine, we’re going to get to the point where de facto that’s where we end up,” Singh, who has been described by some media outlets as ‘the architect of Russia sanctions,’ said.

No prospects for renewing Russia-Ukraine cultural dialogue — Foreign Ministry
"In case of a hypothetical reset of the cultural cooperation dialogue, it would be necessary to conclude another document that would take into account the new realities," Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said.
The possibility of resuming constructive interaction between Russia and Ukraine, including in the field of culture, is not expected, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said at a State Duma plenary session where the bill on denouncing the Russian-Ukrainian intergovernmental agreement on cultural centers was being considered.
"It is now obvious that, given the unrelenting anti-Russian line pursued by the Ukrainian authorities, it is impossible to discuss any prospects for resuming constructive cooperation with the current Kiev regime, including in the humanitarian and cultural field," the deputy minister said.

US, Germany warn against offering Ukraine firm timeframe for joining NATO
According to the Daily Telegraph, "while NATO leaders will refuse to provide a timeline for Ukraine’s membership, they will offer what is being described as a 'bridge' or 'path' to accession as a show of support for the process".
A source told the newspaper that US administration officials were "very skeptical about bringing Ukraine any further along the path to full Nato membership this year." "The US is perhaps not as concerned as Germany, but there is a worry about the threat of Russia to the rest of the alliance," he added.
A package of support will "demonstrate that the path to membership is getting shorter." "The package will focus on bolstering Ukraine’s armed forces to ensure Ukraine is ready to immediately join NATO when alliance leaders agree the time is right," the paper writes.
"It’s not an invitation, but it’s the next closest thing," a diplomat said.
