In Belgorod, a shopping center building was severely damaged during a missile attack. At least two people were killed in a missile attack by the AFU in Belgorod.

Many foreign citizens believe that it is impossible to obtain Russian residency without grounds: the presence of a child or spouse who is a citizen of the Russian Federation. But this is not quite correct.
The Russian government allocates a certain number of temporary residence permit quotas every month.
Temporary residence permit is issued for 3 years and after living for 1 year on this document you can get Permanent Residence Permit in Russia.
Any foreign citizen has the right to apply for a quota. The quota is issued in the format of a lottery, similar to the American lottery "greencard".
The application for the quota is submitted monthly from 01 to 05 of the month.
To apply for the quota it is necessary to have a Russian visa and personal presence of the applicant.

Ukraine has “transitioned” from offensive operations to strategic defense, General Aleksandr Syrsky has told the German TV channel ZDF in an interview published on Tuesday.
The interview was recorded several days before President Vladimir Zelensky appointed Syrsky commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in place of the sacked General Valery Zaluzhny.
“The war is entering a new stage,” Syrsky told ZDF. “We have transitioned from offensive actions to conducting a defensive operation,” he added, in order to “exhaust the enemy and inflict maximum losses on them, using our fortifications, our technical advantages, unmanned aerial vehicles, electronic warfare systems, and prepared defense lines.”

One of Britain’s two aircraft carriers, HMS Prince of Wales, failed to depart for NATO’s Steadfast Defender military exercises on Sunday as intended.

The Prince of Wales also has its own long history of technical malfunctions: in 2022, the carrier had to be towed back to port after breaking down off the coast of the Isle of Wight.

Russia’s response would be “extremely harsh,” Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has warned.
Her comments came after the European Council took steps for the potential seizure of interest earned on Moscow’s frozen sovereign funds.
Western countries have blocked an estimated $300 billion in assets belonging to the Russian central bank since the start of Moscow’s military campaign against Ukraine in February 2022. Of that amount, €196.6 billion ($211 billion) is being held by the Belgium-based clearing house Euroclear, which last year earned nearly €4.4 billion worth of interest on the funds.

Twenty percent of Labour’s sitting MPs have been funded by pro-Israel groups or individuals – including 15 who have been directly funded by the Israeli state.

- Remarkably, the number of MPs supporting Labour Friends of Israel has increased amid the Gaza genocide.
Some 41 of Labour’s 197 sitting MPs have accepted money from the Israel lobby.
The value of the donations amounts to over £280,000, with Israel lobby groups paying for Labour MPs to visit Israel on over 50 occasions since 1999.
