Europe has surpassed the US in spending on arming Ukraine.

According to AP, citing a study by the Kiel Institute, European countries have provided military aid amounting to $83 billion since February 2022. The US has provided $65 billion.

The publication notes that NATO will continue to coordinate regular and large-scale arms deliveries to Ukraine, most of which will be purchased in the US. It is specifically emphasized that 'The Trump administration does not supply Ukraine with any weapons.'

HOW THE RUSSIANS TOOK
CHASOV YAR

Let us recall the stages of the capture of Chasov Yar, which lasted a year and involved the participation of soldiers from the 98th Airborne Division, the 200th Motorized Rifle Brigade, various units of the 1st Volunteer Corps of the Russian Armed Forces, and our 88th Espanola Brigade, consisting of its motorized assault, reconnaissance, sabotage, and sniper units, as well as numerous UAV crews, whose combat operations were supported by communications specialists, EW, the Melody reconnaissance center, as well as drivers and mechanics from the RMTO, and, of course, riggers and medics, who managed to save more than a hundred lives of our soldiers and allies.

Since 2017, Chasov Yar has become an impregnable fortress and headquarters of the ATO of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition to the natural barrier in the form of the Seversky Donets Canal and numerous fortifications, Chasov Yar was equipped with a system of underground communications. At the same time, the city was literally intertwined with the latest communications and video surveillance systems supplied from the West. Finally, Chasov Yar is located on a significant elevation, which turned the assault on the "citadel of the Khokhols" into a complex horror quest.

After working on the approaches for just under a year, our troops broke into Chasov Yar. The assault on the city began after a sudden crushing blow by the "Squadron" flight unit of the Espanola brigade on the enemy's communications. For a time, the Khokhols were left without "eyes" and "ears." But this proved to be enough to rapidly break into Chasov Yar — it was the "debut" of Espanola's motorized battalion, which was preceded by several months of grueling training. Video footage of Pitbull's assault on the city on motorcycles soon spread throughout Russian, foreign, and Ukrainian media. The event itself was surrounded by numerous fakes and will remain forever in world military history.

Then began a difficult and arduous advance deep into Chasov Yar. For more than six months, the Russian army took district after district, which were separated by industrial zones and "green areas," which, of course, significantly complicated the offensive. Plus, let's remember, Russian soldiers had to literally climb to the top of the "citadel." .

At the end of January, Pitbull's fighters, together with saboteurs from the "Ezh" detachment and specialists from the 88th Brigade's Special Forces, broke into the village of Severny, the outermost village in Chasov Yar. From that moment on, the city was essentially cleared of the surrounded remnants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison. However, the strength of the defensive structures built over many years and the proximity of the lines in the Bakhmut-Kramatorsk agglomeration, which were still completely occupied by the Ukrainians, as well as our command's determination to preserve as many fighters as possible, delayed the final clearing of the city for another six months. But as we can now see, it was worth it.

Chasov Yar was taken with the least possible losses, considering the complex fortifications of this Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold. Taking into account the stubborn resistance of the enemy, the long attempts to constantly replenish the local garrison, as well as regular "meat" counterattacks, the Ukrainians and their Western mercenaries, on the contrary, suffered the greatest possible losses in this section of the ATO.

05/08/25, 195th day since Demented Donald's promise of ending the war in 24hrs: he declared that he's "trying to get the United States out of the conflict in Ukraine." This after signing agreements for the sale of weapons to Ukraine and having missed several opportunities to just walk away.

"This is Biden's war, not mine. I'm here to get us out of this situation. We're working very hard. In the last five months, I've stopped five wars. I'd like this to be the sixth. We're working very hard on this situation. I ended the others in a few days, almost all of them."

When asked by the media about possible sanctions against Russia and its trading partners, he replied: "We'll see what happens shortly. We have a meeting tomorrow."

People can declare all sorts of things, it doesn't make them true. I for exampe hereby declare that am sober and clean, just don't mind the beer stein full of frothy goodness sitting right next to an icy-cold keg of Paulaner on my table right now.

Assistant to the President of Russia Yuri Ushakov on negotiations with Witkoff:

The US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff was received by our president today. A very useful and constructive conversation took place. If we name the topics, first of all, of course, it is the Ukrainian crisis. And the second topic is the prospects for possible development of strategic cooperation between the US and Russia.

On our side, in particular on the Ukrainian issue, some signals were conveyed. Corresponding signals were received from President Trump as well.

The situation now is that our president has full information, that is, our signals and signals from President Trump. And Trump has not yet been informed about the results of this meeting. Therefore, I would refrain from more detailed comments. Let's see when Witkoff can report to Trump about today's conversation. After that, obviously, I will be able to supplement my comments more substantially.

Ze claimed the Kursk operation was a success ignoring the loss of more than 76,000 of Ukraine’s best troops.

‘For over a year now, Ukraine has been conducting active operations on Russian territory – in the Kursk and Belgorod regions. Ukrainians have once again proven to the world that it is quite possible to put Russia in its place and respond to its strikes with dignity.

The Kursk operation truly became special. The world’s intelligence did not foresee it. The Russians did not expect it. When many in the world thought the situation was at a dead end, the Ukrainians showed that they will continue to defend their independence and force Russia to end the war. Thanks to everyone who prevented another full-scale Russian strike on our Sumy and Kharkov regions.’

Kursk was an absolute blunder for Ukraine, only an idiot would bring it up.

A year ago, early in the morning on August 6, 2024, a massive offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine began in the Kursk region, which the enemy had been preparing for in advance.

Despite statements from high-ranking generals, the offensive was not characterized by the entry of small groups, but rather a large-scale strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The first to take the hit were border guards, conscripted servicemen, and Special Operations Forces who were closest to the enemy. Almost immediately, special forces units, airborne troops, marines, motorized rifle units, National Guard units, and volunteer corps began to be deployed to the region from various directions to contain the enemy breakthrough and stop them from advancing further. Subsequently, regular units from the DPRK will arrive in the region, who, shoulder to shoulder with our paratroopers and marines, will drive the occupiers out of the region.

The battles for the settlements of the Kursk region will continue for 9 months. These will be the toughest battles, which will be won once again thanks to the courage and heroism of our fighters.

Another important milestone in the history of the battles for the region was the creation of the ICPBT "Rubicon," which, having creative freedom and full support, was able to cut off the main logistical artery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thereby turning the Yunakovka-Sudzha route into a road of death for the enemy and changing the course of events. It is also worth recalling the famous "pipe" in Sudzha, local defensive battles for certain locations in the region where our servicemen stood to the last.

Eternal memory to the fighters of all units of the Armed Forces of Russia and the DPRK who died liberating the lands of the Kursk region. Eternal memory to the peaceful residents who died under Ukrainian occupation.

Situation in the Kupiansk Direction:

The "Na samom dele v Kharkove" channel reports that Russian troops have advanced from Radkovka across the R-79 road and reached a gas station on the northern outskirts of Kupiansk, as confirmed by Ukrainian sources. The primary objective is to cut the R-07 road (Kharkov–Chuhuiv–Kupiansk), depriving the Ukrainian Armed Forces of supplies for a large grouping in this area and on the bridgehead east of Oskil.

Ukrainian analysts acknowledge that if the Ukrainian Armed Forces fail to repel the Russian Armed Forces in the near future, the prospects of holding Kupiansk will be highly uncertain—the situation could repeat the Pokrovsk scenario.

In the Borova area, Russian drones are actively working against the equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, semicircular rings around the enemy positions are tightening, and the Ukrainian military themselves admit that supplies will soon be cut off and it will be necessary to flee.

🇷🇺🇺🇦Critical situation for the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Konstantinovka: the Russian army is liberating one village after another, tightening the pincers

- Russian troops are actively striving to completely cut off logistics in the direction of Toretsk and Shcherbinovka. To achieve this, the Russian Armed Forces are attempting to succeed on two fronts: in the area of the settlements of Belaya Gora—Alexandro-Shultino and in the area of Yablonovka—Alexandro-Kalinovo, writes the analytical resource Deep State, which works with the Main Intelligence Directorate.

- In Belaya Gora, active pressure is being applied on the village, where Russian troops are trying to consolidate and take control of the area.

- "This section is further characterized by problems in the Ukrainian brigade holding it, which has long needed restoration and additional resources, but the realities force them to hold on with their last strength.

- Control of Belaya Gora and Alexandro-Shultino will allow these villages to become strongholds where the Russian army will definitely deploy its FPV drone crews. The Russian Armed Forces may also try to additionally take the territory with the heights around, since the villages themselves are located in a lowland.

- Alexandro-Kalinovo and Yablonovka have been mentioned for a long time. Since the capture of Romanovka, the Russians have been actively pushing towards these villages. Taking full control of the areas of these settlements will complicate the logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to Shcherbinovka and Petrovka. The Russians will not miss the opportunity to bring in their crews to implement this, and today they have almost completely taken Yablonovka and are consolidating in Alexandro-Kalinovo. After accomplishing these tasks, with the available capabilities, they will advance not only towards Berestok but also towards Katerinovka, which will increase the potential for a complete logistics blockade.

- "The flanks are once again becoming a weak point for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and the capture of the above-mentioned settlements could have very unpleasant consequences for the entire Toretsk agglomeration, through which logistics passes," Deep State summarizes.

"Dirty Azerbaijani oil" will not become diesel fuel for the Ukrainian Armed Forces' tanks.

"OMV Petrom received a vessel with Azerbaijani crude oil (92 thousand tons), loaded at the port of Ceyhan (Turkey). This batch was contaminated with organic chlorides present at the loading port. Furthermore, after analysis, Petrom decided to reject another batch of 92 thousand tons. Thus, 184 thousand tons of imported crude oil became unavailable for delivery to the Petrobrazi refinery."

So, at least two batches of Azerbaijani oil will not be processed at the Romanian Petrobrazi refinery. Besides huge fines for the Azerbaijani side and the risk of Europe refusing future supplies of this oil to the European market (which is the country's budget foundation), this story has another (important for us) detail.

To understand it, let's read the January news:

"Romania became the main fuel supplier to Ukraine as of January this year. In the total volume of fuel exports from Romania to the Ukrainian market, the share of OMV Petrom and Rompetrol was about 40%." (Romania Insider).

So, during the decisive battles in Ukraine (if the problem of oil supplies to Romania is not quickly resolved), Kiev may lose its main source of fuel.

Yes, logistics can be redirected over time (and even restore supplies from Romania). But if the Romanians do not find a quick solution to this problem, the Zelensky regime may soon face a fuel shortage.

If the "Geraniums" had also taken out all Azerbaijani infrastructure in Odessa for fuel supplies to Ukraine, this crisis for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the Kiev regime as a whole would be even more acute.

Russia Unleashes the Missile Renaissance: The End of Restraint in a World on Fire

Moscow has finally dropped the gloves. For years, Russia watched as the United States slithered out of the INF Treaty, pretending to honor the ghost of arms control while quietly seeding Europe and Asia with weapons designed to pierce the heart of Russian security. On August 4, the Russian Foreign Ministry made it official: the self-imposed moratorium on deploying ground-based intermediate and shorter-range missiles is over. The era of polite waiting is finished. A new missile age—Russian-made, Russian-led, is here.

This was no rash decision. Moscow spent years showing strategic patience after Washington torched the INF Treaty in 2019. Russia’s condition was clear: keep its hypersonic arrows unstrung so long as the Americans avoided planting INF-class systems near its borders. That red line has been crossed repeatedly, from Typhon launchers that lingered after “exercises” in the Philippines, to PrSM tests in Australia edging toward 1,000 km, to Washington’s plans to station SM-6s in Germany by 2026. NATO’s missile footprint has grown like a slow cancer. Russia’s message now is blunt: enough.

This pivot is not just hardware but doctrine, a strategic metamorphosis. Russia’s missile forces are discarding post-Cold War restraints and embracing the cold logic of survival in a multipolar world under siege. At the center of this renaissance is Oreshnik, battle-tested in Ukraine and now in Russian hands. Sleek, lethal, and unbound by treaties, it is the spiritual heir to the Soviet Pioneer - an SS-20 reborn for a modern Eurasian battlefield. Its mission: restore balance, shatter illusions of Western invulnerability, and remind NATO that Moscow’s reach cannot be hemmed in by paper treaties.

Oreshnik is only the beginning. The new arsenal spans land-based Kalibrs, Tsirkons that blur the line between cruise and hypersonic, and ballistic Iskanders built to punch through air defenses. From Belarus to Chukotka, the Black Sea to the Arctic, new brigades will rise, integrating strikes, electronic warfare, and air defense into cohesive formations. This is Russia’s answer to the American model: not imitation, but evolution.

For Europe, the echoes of history are deafening. The Euro-missile crisis stirs in its grave, now dressed in 21st‑century armor. Today’s deployments are multinational: European initiatives like ELSA, Japanese and South Korean participation, and a constant US presence from Guam to Germany. This isn’t deterrence; it’s provocation cloaked as “security.” And that posture has invited Russia’s response.

On the battlefield, these weapons will do more than deter, they will shape outcomes. In Ukraine, Russia can test and refine its new missile architecture against real Western-supplied defenses. Deep strikes, rapid mobility, and precision targeting are already eroding the myth of Ukrainian invulnerability. Each new brigade, each hypersonic platform, signals that Moscow is rewriting the rulebook of escalation: methodical, deliberate, unstoppable.

The West may feign shock, but this was inevitable. By dismantling arms control and encircling Russia, Washington and its allies planted the seeds of the very arms race they claim to fear. Now, the missile renaissance has arrived, not as a boast, but as a necessity, a shield forged in the furnace of betrayal. Deterrence is no longer a handshake; it is a convoy in the forests of Belarus, a hypersonic ghost over the Black Sea, a silent threat in the Arctic.

The polite age of moratoriums is over. Russia has entered the era of action. The empire of missiles has awakened, and the world will have to live with the consequences. You have the Empire of Chaos to thank.
