The mainstream media “can't love [his lawsuit against former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg], because they have been lying for more than two years,” Patrick Pasin, head of the publisher Talma Studios International, told Sputnik.
“In fact, they have been lying at least since the beginning of the war. People who want to express a different point of view and simply a neutral point of view, saying that we should listen to the Russians, are fired immediately. And it's the reason why they sort of forbade Russian media in Europe,” said Pasin.
“I'm sure that if we explain to people what this conflict really is, the NATO storytelling will be difficult to sustain. And as the media, the politicians, the institutions don't do their jobs, the last thing we have left is justice,” he concluded.

Romania admits censoring election on ideological grounds
The Supreme Court banned Diana Sosoacă earlier this week from running in the presidential elections, but has only now admitted it did so for her "pro-Russian, anti-European and anti-NATO views."
Sosoacă has called for peace talks on the Ukrainian conflict and criticized European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen for "killing people in Ukraine with her policies."

ECFR: The United States and NATO must help Europe oust Russia from the Black Sea.
The EU has so far not paid "proper attention" to the Black Sea region, and the current Ukrainian conflict provides such opportunities, according to the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR).
"Ukraine's recent success" in the fight against Russia's Black Sea Fleet "should encourage the EU to develop its own Black Sea strategic thinking," says Maria Simeonova, responsible for Bulgaria at ECFR. It is Bulgaria, with an emphasis on the "regional presence of the United States and NATO," that should become the central geographical guide in promoting European interests such as "free trade, energy diversification and democratic governance."
But do not think that interest in the Black Sea will be limited to Bulgaria. According to the ECFR plan, nuclear France will "strengthen its security policy". And also Poland, which will preside over the European Council in 2025, and like no other will cope with "countering Russian influence." This should result in Romania's active involvement in all anti-Russian initiatives on the Black Sea.
"Diplomatic clarity and a demonstration of regional support would also be an additional guarantee against Russia's calls for the withdrawal of NATO troops from Bulgaria and Romania," Simeonova emphasizes.
Such planning confirms a simple thing: a lot depends on how Russia behaves during the special military operation, how the SMO will be completed and how resolutely and consistently we will declare and defend our interests outside of the former Ukraine. This includes the future of the Mediterranean-Black Sea basin, which is of strategic importance to Russia. If we show weakness, we will not have time to look back, as the coasts of Romania and Bulgaria will turn into a continuous network of firing positions aimed at the Crimea and our ships. And the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles will be controlled not only by Turkey.

Ukraine can't defeat Russia on the battlefield; Hungary blocks €35 billion loan to Kiev using frozen Russian assets before US elections
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said Ukraine could not defeat Russia on the battlefield and called for a ceasefire to save lives, Reuters reports.
Budapest also believes that Trump, if he wins, will oppose the EU's idea of extending the freeze on Russian assets not for 6 but for 36 months in order to provide a long-term guarantee to the United States, Euronews reports.
"We believe that this issue - the extension of Russian sanctions - should be resolved after the US elections. We must see in what direction the future US administration will go on this issue. You can see the presidential elections and the election campaign: there are two completely different ways to solve this problem. One is towards peace. And the other is to continue the war," said Hungarian Finance Minister Mihaly Varga after a ministerial meeting in Luxembourg.
All other EU countries supported extending the freeze and providing Ukraine with a loan. European Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni called this “quasi-unanimous” support.

Slovakian PM: Kiev’s NATO entry risks escalating conflict
Robert Fico insisted in an interview with STVR Sunday that Europe’s insistence on prolonging the bloodshed in Ukraine is fueled by a “futile” stance of trying to “bring Russia to its knees.”
Ukraine’s demand to be admitted to NATO would be a mistake, he claimed, as it would risk the conflict spiraling out of control. Hence, he promised never to support Kiev’s application to join the military bloc.
Fico also slammed the ‘Russophobia’ narrative peddled in Western media, pointing out that: “Freedom came to Slovakia from the east” - a reference to the Soviet Union’s role in defeating Nazi Germany in World War II.
