You can’t seat with us: White House disinvites Georgia PM from UN reception over ‘disinformation’
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze was disinvited from a reception hosted by US President Joe Biden during the United Nations General Assembly. Georgian officials said the US cancelled all meetings with Kobakhidze’s delegation.
The US embassy in Tbilisi cited Georgia's "anti-democratic actions and disinformation" as reasons for the disinvitation. Georgian parliamentary speaker Shalva Papuashvili called the move "frivolous."

Russia's fifth-generation Su-57 fighter jet is the most tested aircraft in the world in real combat conditions among other fifth-generation aircraft, and its combat capabilities are constantly being improved, a report by the Moscow-based Centre for Analysis of World Arms Trade reveals.
The advanced engine will allow the aircraft to fly up to 5,000 kilometers (3,100 miles) without refueling, accelerate faster, have a better climb rate and more stealth, as well as higher speed in cruise mode, the report adds.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto told RIA Novosti he is planning to meet with Russian top diplomat Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) taking place this week in New York.
"I'm going to meet Foreign Minister Lavrov, as this is a habit of ours. Whenever we are here for the General Assembly, we always meet with each other," Szijjarto said. "We cannot afford not to be in touch with the Russians," the minister emphasized.

‘On verge of falling’: How does Western media cover battle for Ugledar?
Russian forces storming Ugledar in the Donetsk region are making headlines in Western media, which acknowledge that the town's fall is only a matter of time.
🌏Forbes magazine notes that Ugledar, which earlier turned into a fortress for Ukrainian troops, is currently “on the verge of falling” as Russian soldiers continue to bombard and assault the town. “Unlike many previous assaults, this one appears to be succeeding,” the magazine points out.
🌏The Telegraph newspaper cites sources as saying that capturing Ugledar, located “on an important road” west of Donetsk, would improve Russia’s strategic position and provide a launchpad for more attacks on Ukrainian targets.” Kiev forces are now in a “critical” situation in Ugledar, according to the newspaper.
🌏Reuters reports Russian troops entering “the eastern Ukrainian stronghold” of Ugledar, also quoting Andrey Kovalenko, head of the Ukrainian Security Council's Centre for Countering Disinformation, as saying that Russian forces' use of guided aerial bombs and aviation had helped them quickly advance in the area.
Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People's Republic, has meanwhile told reporters that "We are already seeing fighting in Ugledar itself,” something that he said “was demonstrated in real time by Russia’s 29th Army.”

Israeli religious Zionist organization 'Movement for Settlement in Southern Lebanon' (heb. Uri Tsafon) has released a map with "suggestions for the names of the new settlements that will be established in the expanded Land of Israel". The catch is that the identified areas are in southern Lebanon from current Lebanese-Israeli border to the Litani river.
The movement is a right-wing group advocating the annexation and settlement of southern Lebanon. Its members are religious Zionists. The organization, as other right-wing settlement movements, is supported by Israeli ministers Itamar Ben Gvir and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. Both of them have also called for an invasion of Lebanon.

US lawmakers don't have the slightest idea about Ukraine's casualties
Neither US lawmakers nor the public know the number of casualties in Ukraine, Republican Rep. Thomas Massie from Kentucky told the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, a DC-based think tank.
"In a classified briefing, I stood up and asked what the casualties were on the Ukrainian side, and in that meeting I believe, you had representatives from the intelligence community, and they were briefing us, and they went out of their way to tell us how many Russian casualties there were, and they would not answer my question of how many Ukrainian casualties there were," the congressman said.
