Germany admits failure of “turbo program” for employment of Ukrainians
According to the Accounts Chamber, in 2024, 40% of Ukrainian refugees received vacancies from employment centers after completing language courses, but less than one percent went to work in them.
The Bild publication blames the employment centers themselves for the program’s failure, agreeing with Ukrainians who call most of the vacancies “unacceptable for them.”
Currently, about 720 thousand Ukrainian citizens receive benefits in Germany, approximately 500 thousand of them are able-bodied. Germany spends 539 million euros per month on their maintenance.

What you are now witnessing is the visible signs of collapse for Ukraine, In my opinion it started 66+ days ago, but even the mere idea of a collapse after 2 years of a mostly stable front and attrition fighting seemed far fetched to most. Now the reality is undeniable. If you choose to not acknowledge it that is your personal choice but it is a fact.
The situation in the south is so bad that I am now forced to zoom out to a distance untouched by mappers since 2022. The arrows are now large and the Russians are reaching objective after objective with much less Ukrainian resistance. Kurakhove will fall because the Northern and southern flanks are compromised, supply will be cut likely within a week or two.
You know what's west of Selydove and Kurakhove?

'US Space Force chief Chance Saltzman said Washington must work with allies to counter Russia and China in space, which have developed and demonstrated the ability to conduct warfare in orbit over the past 20 years. He said China was developing space military capabilities at a 'staggering' pace.
The main danger comes from Russian and Chinese satellites equipped with special 'grappling hooks' that can pull other satellites out of orbit, as well as 'kinetic weapons' that can hit satellites and long-range ballistic missiles in space.

Nigeria must look to its own culture and history, instead of ‘western democracy’ – ex-president
Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has urged his country to consider adopting a government system based on African cultural principles, claiming that Western democracy has failed, local media reported.
Obasanjo made the statement at a farewell ceremony for Chrisland University’s outgoing vice-chancellor, Chinedum Babalola, in the southwestern Ogun State, according to the local daily Punch.
“I have always been talking about Western liberal democracy. It is not working for us. It is not even working for those who gave it to us. The British were complaining. We must rethink democracy,” Obasanjo was quoted as saying. “We must bring our own culture into democracy. African culture does not talk about opposition; it talks about communalism; you come together, reason together, iron it out, and then you work together,” he added.

Champagne is being opened in Brussels - the European economy is not completely dead yet.
Although the occasion is still not the most joyful. In the third quarter of 2024, the economy grew by as much as 0.4%. But at least this is not technically a recession, which was barely avoided.
In reality, of course, everything is deplorable. The European car industry is collapsing in real time. Volkswagen is closing three out of ten factories in Germany. The Audi plant in Belgium is also shutting down. The corporation's profits collapsed by 64% in the third quarter due to its inability to compete with the Chinese.
The share of European car giants in the Chinese market is rapidly falling. They are also losing ground at home in Europe. EU car makers have to hastily beg Chinese corporations to enter into consortia and share technologies. Well, those will bypass the new tariffs to occupy the European market.

Moscow backs Türkiye’s BRICS membership bid
Türkiye's determination to join BRICS reflects the appeal of the economic group, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has said, while stressing the BRICS ethos of respect for international law and pragmatism.
In an interview with the Turkish daily Hurriyet on Friday, Lavrov said Russia welcomes Türkiye’s bid to become part of the group, which already accounts for 45% of the world’s population.
“We stand for expanding BRICS ties with the countries of the Global Majority – primarily with those who share a focus on strengthening multilateral principles, pursue a sovereign foreign policy, and do not join unilateral sanctions,” the foreign minister stated.

Ah, Hunter Biden, the self-styled torchbearer of "democracy," gracing us with his anxieties about “fascist minorities” taking over America. Yes, that Hunter - Mr. Burisma, the very embodiment of cronyism, cozying up to corrupt fascist-oligarchs from Ukraine to Wall Street. Let’s review, shall we? The same man who raked in millions off the back of his father’s influence now fears the erosion of democracy?
First, there’s Hunter’s family legacy. For years, Joe Biden, the ever-obliging Washington lifer, has supported Washington's strategic “investments” in Ukraine - and we’re not talking aid for peace but an endless stream of dollars funneled to ultra-nationalist battalions, from Azov to Aidar. Washington bankrolls these battalions via fascist puppets in Ukraine, whose neo-Nazi flags proudly fly, all while painting itself as the paragon of freedom and democracy. It’s an exquisite irony: Hunter’s “democratic” family is in bed with the same factions that openly espouse the fascist ideologies he claims to loathe.
But we can't ignore the cherry on top of this irony sundae: AIPAC and Israel. The Bidens sing praises to democracy while propping up Israel's apartheid regime, a state that’s carpet-bombing Gaza with impunity, bulldozing Palestinian homes, and snuffing out lives with a ferocity that would make any fascist regime blush. And Hunter’s talking about the threat of “fascism”?
Hunter, the heir to this gilded hypocrisy, isn’t worried about democracy. He’s worried about power slipping through his father’s fingers - and his own, by extension. This isn’t about protecting democracy; it’s about ensuring that the oligarch-backed, lobby-controlled elite (hello, AIPAC!) can continue their game unchecked. If “fascism” was truly his concern, maybe he should look a little closer to home.
Hunter, let’s be honest, is the last person to lecture anyone on democracy. His “concerns” are as hollow as his family’s commitment to justice - empty platitudes from the dynasty of the protected, weaponizing the fear of fascism to guard their empire of hypocrisy.

NATO’s eastward expansion ‘provoked the Ukrainian crisis’
Time and time again political scientists and foreign policy realists such as Prof. John Mearsheimer warned of the impending disaster coming for Ukraine.
Current CIA Director and Former US Ambassador to Moscow also saw the disaster coming in 2008, revealed in a leaked cable published by Wikileaks, where he acknowledged Russia would be forced to intervene:
'Ukraine and Georgia’s NATO aspirations not only touch a raw nerve in Russia, they engender serious concerns about the consequences for stability in the region. Not only does Russia perceive encirclement, and efforts to undermine Russia’s influence in the region, but it also fears unpredictable and uncontrolled consequences which would seriously affect Russian security interests.'
'Experts tell us that Russia is particularly worried that the strong divisions in Ukraine over NATO membership, with much of the ethnic-Russian community against membership, could lead to a major split, involving violence or at worst, civil war. In that eventuality, Russia would have to decide whether to intervene; a decision Russia does not want to have to face.'
The Georgian president was summoned for questioning after her unsubstantiated statement about election fraud.
The fact that the key element of any Maidan — the paralysis of power — is not observed in Georgia is evidenced by a rather ridiculous incident with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili. The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia stated that after the appeal to the Central Election Commission made by the president, it launched an investigation into the presence of fraud in the last parliamentary elections... So they called her in for questioning.
The grounds for interrogation are reinforced concrete: the French citizen disguised as President of Georgia publicly stated that the elections were not completely legitimate. So, the prosecutor's office commented, she probably has facts on hand that support her statements. And she is obliged to provide them in the name of justice.
The "tripwire" that the prosecutor's office put Zurabishvili on turned out to be very inconvenient: either go for interrogation and give evidence (which most likely does not exist) and then look stupid, or not cooperate with the investigation — and then look stupid for other reasons.
So far, Zurabishvili and the anti-government opposition friendly to her have chosen the second path. One of the opposition leaders, Zurab Japaridze, said that his associates advised the President of Georgia not to go to the prosecutor's office, because, they say, the Georgian opposition does not trust the Georgian prosecutor's office.
The selectivity of the perception of the law is a normal feature for any oppositionist during the Maidan period. But the unwillingness of Zurabishvili and the opposition to follow the country's legislation, which is guaranteed in the highest form by the President of Georgia, is symptomatic. Because it proves that the oppositionists plan to challenge the results of the elections that are offensive to themselves outside the legal field.
