Johnny has different insults for a low-kill V minor base game spoilers

Currently in the middle of a 0-kill playthrough and I recently had the third "Tapeworm" conversation with Johnny. This is the chat where V has to make a notable effort to avoid smoking when the Relic malfunctions. In this talk, I lit up, but criticized Johnny for killing a massive amount of people at Arasaka Tower, then called him out for being unpredictable. Usually, Johnny will claim V is a hypocrite since they kill plenty of people and citing scale is a poor argument.

However, the developers actually accounted for a V who has no kills (or perhaps very few) during this conversation. Instead, Johnny will remark that V doesn't like killing, but lets others do it for them instead. This barb makes sense when you consider that many of the non-lethal options for gigs and missions see V either leaving monsters to continue about their business or delivering targets to be "dealt with" by another party. I'm not sure what the exact threshold is for triggering this (perhaps I'll go back and test it), but I always appreciate it when a difficult/non-standard playstyle is acknowledged by a game as complex as Cyberpunk 2077.

The heist failure was T-Bug's fault

Hear me out:

1. She is responsible to deal with the hotel security, yet she didn't see the hotel schedule, nor she intercepted comms for Saburo's ship approaching the Penthouse landing pad.
2. She took hours to pierce the hotel ICE, which delayed the mission to a time where the perfect storm would happen, if she were faster or had researched the hotel ICE prior to the mission she would've done it much quicker and the job would've been much quicker.
3. After everything went to shit, she was unable to isolate the hotel net and find a safe escape route for V and Jackie.
4. She "got made" by hotel security Netrunners, they were hacked and compromised, she should've been more than capable to evade or block them.

So she delayed the mission, failed to gather vital information for the mission in real time, failed to find a escape route for V and Jackie, died and made the whole mission a big disaster.

Edit: lots of people saying Saburo AV wasn’t scheduled, to what I say bullshit. All (legal) AVs in NC have flight plans, in the Anders Hellman mission we learn that from Rogue, they have to specify how many souls on board, they can hide identities though. So Saburo’s AV was on schedule without Saburo name on it. Lot’s of people also say Dex said “Saburo wasn’t on schedule” but also say Dex fucked up the plan…so what is it then? He fucked up the plan but got Saburo’s schedule pixel perfect? c’mon, Saburo’s AV was on schedule but Dex had no brains to see that the VIP member in the AV passenger list was indeed Saburo, neither T-Bug the biggest brain in the bunch could, so her fault after all.

What's a hidden immersion element you discovered that others might not know?



For me, it's that these electrical towers in game actually emit a dull buzz when you're nearby, just like irl. A hidden touch that is totally unnecessary, but CDPR went to that level of detail.

The scaling 'V pays for something' is really breaking my immersion now

One of the things I love about Cyberpunk 2077 is how easily you can just get lost in the world while playing. I usually end up driving around in 1st person rather than 3rd, cruising at reasonable speed instead of flooring it everywhere. Walking round the streets, etc etc.So, while coming out of a successful gig, I pass a street beggar and the prompt pops up to give them some money. Back in vanilla, this usually gave them something like $5-20

With the new 'scaling' of V paying for something that's doesn't seem to be coded as a set price, I suddenly see my bank account 'Transfer -$45631'.What the actual b***ering f***????? V just drops 5X the eddies they just got paid to a beggar they pass while feeling in a good mood from a job well done?

Sure, my V might well have $3 million plus, but still, what the hell with paying a beggar that much, it's stupid.In the scheme of things, it's a little annoyance, but I really hope they fix this. It's ridiculous. Nix's spellbook and other literal inconsequential things should not lose us so much money.
